This article makes a brief presentation of the family situation in the Western Society. The family crisis and several other family structure models are delt here from a sociological perspective, e. e., as a true framework for an education in terms of family. The family role is defended as a framework of protection in favour of the newborn. Therefore children can find an environment with «suitable conditions» that are of vital importance for learning of values that bear: morality, protection and assurance, dialogue and responsibility hence making the appropiation of values possible based on experience. No other focal points are contemplated that are cognitive in the family education except for the need to make the family environment a privileged and irreplaceable experience for the learning of moral values. The family brings up a child correctly for what it does rather than what it preaches.SOMMAIRE: Dans cet article on fait une brève exposition de la situation de la famille dans le contexte de la société occidentale. The relatively hereditary character of diverse cultural phenomena has already drawn attention to the role that the family can play in this trans mission. It appears in particular that political orientations and the chances of access to different types and levels of education can frequently be explained by a specific family membership. Two types of argument are put forward here in order to explain how the family can appear as a privileged place of cultural apprenticeship: on the one hand psychological arguments linked with the primary and universal character of family education and the type of relations that this develops; on the other hand a more sociological explanation based on the repercussion that the more or less great complexity of learned language entails with regard to diverse exterior participations, and on the comparison between the impact of the family and those of other socializing agents on the successive choices which they will impose. To these explanatory elements of the existing link between cultural memberships and the family environment is added, for religion as much as for the family, the transition from the public to the private sphere. This parallel evolution will tend to increase the autonomy of religion on the plane of secondary elaborations for which it will borrow its mode of re-interpretation from the exigencies of daily life, particularly from the family.

The article is devoted to the theoretical analysis of the family education factors that influence the development of children's creative abilities and the empirical study of the styles of parent relationship in the families of children with different levels of creativity. The relevance of the study of the family environment problem as an external factor of development of children's creativity is substantiated. Researchers of creativity give a decisive role to the microenvironment in which the child is formed, and, primarily, to the influence of family relationships. Currently, consideration of the children's creativity development in the family is the least studied branch of psychology of abilities and the most actual problem of family education. The factors of family education, which influence the development of the child’s creative abilities are highlighted: the position of parents concerning the child’s development and the ways of influencing it; the family’s attitude to the development of the child’s abilities; the style of parent-child relationships; the style of child control and guidance; the family composition and relationships within it. The significance of connection between the styles of family education and the level of creativity development of elementary school children is empirically determined. The characteristic features of relationships between parents and children in each of the studied groups are distinguished: in the families where the children show the high level of creativity development, the type of parent-child relationships “cooperation” is typical; the most typical style of parent-child relationships in the families whose children show the low level of creativity development are «rejection» and «authoritarian hypersocialization».
