AbstractThe research was a quantitative research with experimental method. The population of research were all tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Wiradesa in the 2018/2019 academic year. The research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model to the ability to understand mathematical concepts of Grade X students of SMAN 1 Wiradesa. The results showed that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students in classes taught using the AIR learning model achieved classical completeness, and the average value of the ability to understand mathematical concepts in the experimental class was better than the average value of the conceptual understanding ability in the control class. Based on these two results, it could be concluded that the application of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning model was effective on the ability to understand mathematical concepts of Grade X students of SMAN 1 Wiradesa. Keywords: AIR, the Ability to Understand Mathematical Concepts

This study is aimed todetermine the effect of  guided-inqury learning model combined with the experimental method on physics learning outcomes grade XI IPA in  SMAN 2 Mataram of academic year 2016/2017. This is quasi-experimental research with pretest and posttest control group design. The population is all students grade XI IPA in SMAN 2 Mataram and the sample is student class XI IPA-7 as the experimental group and class XI IPA-9 as the control one which is selected by purposive sampling. The data of physics outcomes learning is collected by using multiple-choice test. Average value obtained in experimental class is 77.00, while in control is 65.65. The highest N-gain value is in sub material elasticity properties of material, it is 51% in control  and 88% in experimental. Statistical used is t-test polled variance at significant level of 5% and the result obtained tcountis 6,27. This value is greater than ttable (ttable=1.993). It means that there is an influence of guided-inquiry learning model combined with the experimental method on physics learning outcomes grade XI IPA in SMAN 2 Mataram.

This study aims to improve students' conceptual understanding and problem solving through the application of problem posing learning based on the hot potatoes application based on the problems of the fifth semester students of SDK Maria Fatima Bangkalan. This study uses a quantitative approach. Quantitative research is carried out by describing the data in the form of numbers, namely to determine whether there are any consequences of problem posing learning based on the hot potatoes application on concept understanding and problem solving. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of Maria Fatima Catholic Elementary School, Bangkalan, Academic Year 2019 - 2020 with flat-building material. The results showed: (1) The effect of problem posing learning based on the hot potatoes application on students' understanding of mathematical concepts was higher with an average value of 85.83 than the control class. (2) The effect of problem posing learning based on hot potatoes application on problem solving has a higher average value than the control class, namely 88.68. (3) The effect of problem posing learning based on hot potatoes application can improve concept understanding and problem solving. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that problem posing learning based on hot potatoes application can improve the conceptual understanding and problem solving of elementary school students, but still requires adjustment to the situation and conditions at school

ABSTRACT   The purpose of this research is: to know the students’ learning outcome and the effect of cooperative learning model group investigation type toward students’ learning outcome on vibration and wave subject grade viii SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam Academic Year 2013/2014. The research method was quasi experiment. The population was all students at class VIII SMP N 1 Lubuk Pakam semester II consist of 8 classes. This research sample use two classes consist of 38 students, class VIII-A as experimental class and class VIII-D as control class and define by cluster random sampling. The data was normal distribution and homogeneity. The result that was obtained: The average value in experimental class after given treatment is 6.750 and the average value in control class after given treatment is 5.697. So it can be concluded that the students’ learning outcome using cooperative learning model group investigation type is better than conventional learning on vibration and wave subject grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam academic year 2013/2014.   Keyword : Group Investigation Model, Students’ Learning Outcome, The Effect Of Group Investigation Model, and Conventional Learning Model.

This study aims to determine the effect of learning model Think Pair Share assisted puzzle game chain to result learn some vital lessons thematic graders V theme 6 "Human Organs and Animals" subthema 3 "Living Humans, Animals and Plants" in SDN Gayamsari 01 Semarang year 2017/2018 lesson. This type of research is a quantitative research study design Pre-ExperimentalDesign.Forms Pre-Experimental Design used in this research is the One-group pretest-posttestdesign.The population in this study were all students in grade 01 VB SDN Gayamsari Semarang academic year 2017/2018. The samples taken were 22 students of class VB using saturation sampling technique. The data in this study were obtained through testing. The results of the average value of pretest and posttest increased. On the pretest value that has been implemented is obtained an average value of 63,00 and the average post-test score of 90,00. Thus, an increase in thematic learning outcomes of students in using learning model Think Pair Share assisted puzzle game chain. Results of testing the hypothesis on the cognitive aspects of student learning outcomes showed thatt tcount7,930 andttable 2,074 with significance level of 5%. Because tcountttable is 7,930 2,074 then Ha acceptable means learning model Think Pair Share assisted puzzle game chain affects the outcome of the thematic learning VB grade students of SDN 01 Gayamsari Semarang.

ABSTRAKPenelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk melihat bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Cabri 3D lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang belajar dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning Berbantuan Cabri 3D di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 27 Medan T.A 2016/2017. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest control design dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 27 Medan tahun ajaran 2016/ 2017 dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-4 dan VIII-6 yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes uraian. Abstract The objectives of this research are: Analyzing how criticalthinking ability of students that learn using Problem BasedLearning and Direct Instructional Model in dynamic fluid and Analyzing is it critical thinking ability of students that learn using problem based learning model is better than direct instructional model in dynamic fluid in SMA Negeri 2 Balige Class XI MIA Academic Year 2014/ 2015. The type of research was Quasi-experiment with the population is all of students in plus class XI MIA in even semester in SMA Negeri 2 Balige which consists of 3 classes. Sample of this research was obtained by technique cluster random sampling. The sample is XI MIA 1 as the experimental class taught by Problem Based Learning Model and XI MIA 3 as the control class taught by Direct Instructional Model. The research instrument has 6 questions in essay type, the instruments tested validated. In this research obtained the average value of post test in experimental higher than control class. In hypothesis testing t count > t table at significant level α = 0.05. So, can be concluded that the critical thinking ability of students in experimental class better than in control class. Ha was accepted or has effect of Problem Based Learning Model on Critical Thinking Ability of Students in Dynamic Fluid Class XI MIA SMA Negeri 2 Balige Academic Year 2014/ 2015.

This research is an experimental research with the aim to know: (1) improvement of the average of mathematical representation skills of class VIII student of SMP Negeri 2 Uluiwoi before getting learning with contextual approach; (2) improvement of the average of mathematical representation skills of grade VIII student of SMP Negeri 2 Uluiwoi before getting learning with conventional approach; (3) an average increase in student representation skills taught by a contextual learning approach is better than an increase in the average of mathematical representation skills taught by conventional learning. The population in this study is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Uluiwoi academic year 2016/2017 spread in 2 parallel classes with the number of 46 people. The population consists of two classes, then the sample is chosen by specifying the first class as the experimental class and the second class as the control class, assuming that the two classes are statistically homogeneous. This data collection technique uses test and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of empirical research indicate that; (1) Improvement of mathematical representation skills of class VIIIA students taught by using contextual learning model consisting of 24 students showed average value 46,25 and deviation standard 7,409 with mean increase or average N-Gain value 0, 42 is in the medium category. The improvement of the mathematical representation skills of VIIIB class students taught by using conventional learning model which consist of 22 students shows the average value 49,09 and deviation standard 15,402 with mean increase or average of N-Gain value equal to 0,25 is at low category. Inferential statistical analysis shows that (1) there is an increase in the average ability of students 'mathematical representation after having contextual learning, (2) There is an increase in the average ability of students' mathematical representation after conventional learning, and (3) students' mathematical representation with the application of contextual approach is higher than the conventional learning model in Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Uluiwoi.  Keywords: Improved, Contextual, Conventional, N-Gain, mathematical representation skills.

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the influence model of discovery learning the skills of writing text exposition class X SMKN 8 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. This research is motivated by the low ability of students to understand mathematical concepts and students are not used to discussing. The research objective was to determine how the effect of the application of the formulate share listening create informal cooperative learning model on the understanding of the mathematical concepts of class VII.2 students of MTsN 12 Pesisir Selatan.This research is a descriptive quantitative research based on one shoot case study. The population in this study were students of class VII MTsN 12 Pesisir Selatan which consisted of 5 classes. The sampling technique was taken using purposive sampling, so that class VII.2 MTsN 12 Pesisir Selatan was chosen as the sempel class. The research instrument was the final test in the form of an essay and thereliability of . Where based on data analysis the value of the trial class.Based on the calculation results, it was found that the percentage of learning outcomes with the conceptual understanding indicator obtained by students while using the formulate share listening create informal cooperative learning model was quite good. 61%. So it can be concluded that by applying the informal cooperative learning model type formulate share listening create to the students' ability to understand mathematical concepts class VII.2 MTsN 12 Pesisir Selatan is quite good.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL) lebih baik daripada menggunakan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok (Group Investigation) di kelas VIII SMP Negeri Pancur Batu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pancur Batu yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dan diambil kelas VIII-6 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dengan 34 siswa, serta kelas VIII-7 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 dengan 32 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan intrumen berbentuk uraian yaitu posttest yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Dari hasil penelitian setelah diberikan perlakuan berbeda yaitu kelas eksperimen 1 menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL) dan kelas eksperimen 2 menggunakan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok (Group Investigation) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 77,171 untuk kelas eksperimen 1 dan 70,685 untuk kelas eksperimen 2. Hasil uji hipotesis memberikan nilai thitung = 1,734252 dan ttabel = 1,6693 dengan dk = 64 dan taraf signifikan  = 0,05 sehingga terlihat yang berarti bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL) lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Investigasi Kelompok (Group Investigation).Kata Kunci : Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Siswa, Model Pembelajaran Konteskstual (CTL), Model Pembelajaran Investigasi Kelompok.ABSTRACT This study aims to see that the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts using contextual learning model (CTL) is better than using Group Investigation model in Grade VIII SMP Negeri Pancur Batu. From the result of the research after being given different treatment that is experiment class 1 using contextual learning model (CTL) and experimental class 2 using Group Investigation study model obtained the average value 77,171 for experiment class 1 and 70,685 for experiment class 2. Test result Hypothesis gives tcount = 1,734252 and ttable = 1,6693 with dk = 64 and significant level a = 0.05 so it looks t_hitung (1.734252)> t_tabel (1,6693) which means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It is concluded that the students' understanding of mathematical concepts taught using contextual learning model (CTL) is higher than the ability to comprehend the concepts of mathematics students taught using Group Investigation model.
