The ways and means of implementing the contents of an additional professional educational advanced training program consisting of classroom and extracurricular activities aimed at incorporating the mastered experience into the practice of trainees (listeners) to solve specific problems of professional activity are considered. Based on the analysis of legal documents and scientific and methodical literature, the purpose, objectives and content of the formation of professional competences of teachers of the native (Tatar) language within the additional advanced training program implementation and post-course period have been determined. The purpose of the study is to reveal the possibilities of additional professional educational advanced training program aimed at improving the multicultural competence of the teacher of native (Tatar) language “Formation of multicultural competences of the teacher of teacher of native (Tatar) language”. The author outlines that the aim of the additional professional educational program is to improve the professional competence of teachers of the native (Tatar) language, oriented and ready to work in a multicultural educational environment at the entry stage of Russian school in international competition. Methods. During the implementation of the program the following methods were applied: reflexive analysis, modeling, case-study, project method, etc. It is concluded that professional competences formed during the implementation of the additional professional educational advanced training program are designed to implement the tasks of multicultural education in practical activities of teachers of the native (Tatar) language.

The present paper deals with the pedagogical framework of poly- / multicultural education as a factor that significantly influences the formation of poly- / multicultural competence of a foreign language (FL) teacher. The relevance of addressing poly- / multiculturalism in the pedagogical plane is due to the current need of societies to bring up a young professional, who would become aware that today poly- / multiculturalism and polyethnicity make an integral part of the modern global world in general and the educational process, in particular. The research aims to explore and establish the ways of creating pedagogical framework for (i) popularizing the idea of poly- / multiculturalism, and (ii) forming relevant students' skills and abilities in foreign language (FL) instruction; to determine the extent to which the engaging mentoring teacher in the educating role may influence their poly- / multicultural competence.  To this end, poly- / multicultural competence is seen prerequisite of a FL teacher's professional competence. Experiment is the main method of the research. Assessment of the experiment effectiveness was carried out with the involvement of surveys / questionnaires, conducted in stages, along with observation as a method applied.

The article dwells on the problem of the quality of postgraduate pedagogical education through training courses. It presents the results of diagnostics of the quality of professional competence development, revealed by questioning the participants of advanced training courses of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. To identify the level of organization and teaching of online training courses, as well as to determine the difficulties that arose in their learning process, we conducted a survey of participants. Based on the analysis of the results of the survey, we made some proposals that participants consider a priority for their professional development.The article demonstrates the experience of the Faculty of Foreign Languages in organizing postgraduate training courses. The program of the advanced training course for English teachers at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University concerns current Standards in the subject “The methods of teaching English”. The new program recommends implementing interactive teaching approaches and technologies, creative tasks, case studies, projects into the training courses. The main components of a teacher’s professional activity are aware of the needs of learners, planning and organizing lessons, assessing the level of communicative competencies, as well as the mastering of English, methods of teaching, managing their professional development. We discussed the conditions and forms of training, content materials, some specific difficulties in organizing training courses. The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation of the essence, as well as the identification of the main components and methods of forming the professional competence of the teacher of educational robotics. As part of the study, it was found that the subject, methodological, technical, special, organizational and personal components are essential for the successful professional activity of an educational robotics teacher. The professional competence of the teacher of educational robotics should be formed and improved systematically in the framework of specialized areas of training and advanced training of teachers.

In the article, the authors analyze ways to increase the professional competence of teachers of multidisciplinary IEP teams. This allows the conclusion that that the use of coaching is appropriate for mastering support specialists with inclusive technologies, as well as the ability to work in a team interaction mode. Despite the obvious advantages of teamwork, in Ukraine this format of work is still not mastered in an inclusive educational environment. In the article the authors present the structure of the training program based on the team management model for significant achievements (R. Hackman). We conducted a training program for 10 IEP teams, aimed at increasing the level of team interaction and inclusive competence of specialists. Formative influence was done directly during the professional activity of teachers and was accompanied by prolonged expert coaching. In their study, the authors applied a special design scheme for teamwork. This scheme was concretized in the fact that the participants of the IEP teams used the experience gained in the training sessions in the practice of their professional activity, critically comprehended and analyzed their new experience, sought to comprehend the factors of both success and failure. Together with the coordinator and experts, all participants of the IEP teams developed rules for the team, established feedback, sought to influence the focus on mastering the modern approaches of the inclusive process at the level of the entire educational institution. In turn, this maintained the necessary level of motivation and joint intentions to introduce a competently constructed educational environment. To assess the state of inclusive competence formation before and after the training program, we used teacher self-assessment method «Professional Development Tool for Improving the Quality of Practice in primary school». As a result, all teachers have achieved a significant increase in the effectiveness of interdisciplinary support for children with special needs, which have reflected in the positive changes that have occurred in teachers at the professional, interpersonal and personal levels.


The article characterises the essence of the concepts of “project activity” and “project method”. The functions of the use of project method in the professional training of future music teachers are determined, namely: analytical, exploratory, cognitive, integrative, developmental, communicative, organisational, reflective, evaluative, and practice-oriented ones. This article covers the algorithm of construction of group and individual projects by students, which contains descriptions of the following stages of project implementation: organisational and preparatory stage, technological stage, аnd summarysing one. Performance of group and individual projects by students in the process of pedagogical practice is described. We have found that the introduction of group and individual performance and creative projects in the training of students of the Institute of Arts of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University allowed us to: organise research and self-educational activities of students; move from traditional classroom forms of learning to group and individual forms of independent cognitive activity; master the method of projects as a tool in solving self-development tasks; to promote executive and creative activity, to reveal and achieve internal potentials of each student in designing of professional activity, thereby promoting formation of professional competence.

The article offers the main interpretations of the concept and structure of multicultural competence, the impact of its individual components on the professional and personal development of teachers of humanities in higher education in the Republic of Poland. It is considered that among the ways to improve the system of professional training is the development of multicultural competence of future specialists in the humanities, adequate to European standards is possible provided the active implementation of progressive ideas of foreign experience in training relevant specialists in the practice of domestic higher education. The development of multicultural education of future teachers of philology is due to the need to awaken national awareness, the revival of national cultures and the need to preserve the identity of each of them. It was found that the development of multicultural competence in the direction of spreading culture, erudition, individuality of the specialist, his preparation for participation in the implementation of the challenges of society is especially relevant. in Polish pedagogical science has key competencies of socio-pedagogical component in the form of the ability to self-esteem, the ability to resolve conflicts, cooperate effectively with other people, navigate and conduct multicultural dialogue in modern real and virtual social environments and more. It was found out on the basis of logical-system analysis of the content of a significant number of philosophical, sociological, psychological, pedagogical and sociopedagogical sources that the competence approach is a methodological basis for determining the content and specifics of professional competence of specialists in various fields, including teachers of philology. It is determined that such concepts as cultural tolerance, multicultural worldview, moral responsibility should be one of the main qualities of a modern teacher of humanities, as well as the overarching goal of educating students as European citizens of the XXI century. The research aims to explore and establish the ways of creating pedagogical framework for (i) popularizing the idea of poly-/multiculturalism, and (ii) forming relevant students' skills and abilities in foreign language instruction; to determine the extent to which the engaging mentoring teacher in the educating role may influence their poly-/multicultural competence.  To this end, poly-/multicultural competence is seen prerequisite of a foreign language teacher's professional competence. Experiment is the main method of the research. Assessment of the experiment effectiveness was carried out with the involvement of surveys/questionnaires, conducted in stages, along with observation as a method applied. The obtained data confirmed the key research hypothesis: the pedagogical framework for the formation of poly-/ multicultural competence with students seeking their bachelor’s degree to become teachers of a foreign language connects with mastering two or more foreign languages while intensifying the poly-/multicultural component of education. The main findings result in the contemporary need for formation of a FL teacher’s poly-/multicultural competence regarded as the improvement in foreign language proficiency, basic communication skills in a poly-/multiethnic environment, following the proactive positioning of such teacher.

Methods of training in advanced training groups formed from the staff of personnel divisions of the MIA of Russia, which involve the use of anti-corruption education at different stages of professional activity are discussed in the article. A comprehensive approach to the formation of anti-corruption behavior, which allows using various forms of training of police officers in their relation is described. The effectiveness of this approach in the system of professional development was shown. A comprehensive approach allows the training process to pay attention to the needs and difficulties in the field of corruption prevention without spending time on basic training information. Several stages in the organization and content of training are considered. Each of them corresponds to different stages of professional development of specialists of personnel divisions of internal affairs bodies. Described in detail every stage is aimed at a separate audience and has its own value. The possibilities of anti-corruption education are presented, starting with the selection of personnel for service in the internal affairs bodies and ending with the preparation for dismissal. The anti-corruption educational activities carried out at the present time are analyzed. Methods of intensifying each of them and the possibilities of optimal inclusion in the developed complex of content and forms are determined. The proposed approach can be used for majority posts. It is not limited to human resources units. In addition, the developed methodological material can be used by students in the course of their professional activities in the field after studying at advanced training courses.

The article summarizes the arguments and counter-arguments within the scientific discussion on regulating the development of professional competence of trade workers, as the transformation processes taking place in the context of globalization and European integration put forward new requirements for personnel management at micro and macro levels. This is due to the fact that in the conditions of market development, the most significant transformations take place in the social and labor spheres. The main purpose of the article is to study the state and trends of trade in the context of ensuring the professional competence of employees. Systematization of literature sources and approaches to solving the problem of professional competence of trade workers shows that Ukrainian and foreign scientists have studied professional competence, but in modern conditions, there is a need for critical analysis of trade status and trends in the context of professional competence. The study of this issue was carried out in the following logical sequence: determining the results, forming the main tasks and areas of research on the main indicators of trade, and identifying trends in trade in the context of ensuring the professional competence of employees. The methodological tools of the study include the system of economic laws, concepts, and categories, and the fundamental provisions of modern economic theory and applied economics. An abstract-logical complex approach and methods of analysis and synthesis are the general methodological basis of the research. The trade indicators and trends in their development constitute the object of the study as they contribute to ensuring the professional competence of workers in this industry. The article examines the indicators of the condition and trends of trade and their impact on ensuring the professional competence of employees. The demand for specialties that can be realized in the longer professional activity in trade is investigated. A characterological table of general and professional competencies of management staff and salespeople depending on positions is developed.
