School climate indicates three key dimensions of the school i.e. physical, academic and social climate. All three dimensions in the Pakistani school context were focused and examined. The key objectives of the study were to assess the Schools physical, social and academic climate and study its impact on students learning also to recommend remedial measures for improvement of school climate. Schools Principals were the population of the study selected through random sampling technique from Abbottabad, Charsadda, Kohat, Mardan, Nowshera, and Peshawar districts. The data was collected through questionnaires developed on five points Likert scale from the Principals and teachers. A total of 395 Secondary Schools schools were selected. Regression test used for data analysis. The study identified that school climate plays an important role in enhancing their achievement in academics. It proved that the school environment has a direct impact on the learning and teaching process.

Aspiration means the goal that individual set for him in a task which has intense personal significance for him and in which his ego is involved. School is one of the major agencies of socialization which has great influence and bearing on the development of aspirations of the child. It is the School which sets the pattern for the child’s attitude towards people and society, aids intellectual growth in the child and supports his aspirations and achievements. A positive affective School environment increases the livelihood that a child can initiate and persist in challenging and intellectual tasks. Thus the present study is envisaged to assess the Educational and Occupational aspiration of the Secondary School students in relation to their School Environment. The main purpose of the study was to find out the level of Educational and Occupational aspiration in relation to the School environment of the Secondary School students. For the study, 12 Provincialized Co-Educational Secondary schools were selected as sampled Schools by using simple random sampling technique and 490 Class-X students from the sampled schools were selected. Educational aspiration scale (EAS), Occupational aspiration Scale (OAS) and School Environment Inventory were used as tool of the study.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of character education on students' learning motivation at State Elementary School 019 Sungai Beringin, Tembilahan Indragiri Hilir Riau Indonesia. This research used a quantitative approach. A total of 74 students were selected to participate in this study using the proportional random sampling technique. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used was a simple regression test. Based on the results of data analysis on variable X, namely Character Education, it was found that 73.69% was categorized as strong. Then, based on the results of data analysis of variable Y, namely Student Learning Motivation, it was found that 77.39% was also categorized as strong. While the effect of character education on student learning motivation obtained Fcount ≥ Ftable = 20.92 ≥ 3.97, so Ho is rejected, which means that there was a positive and significant influence between character education on student learning motivation

This descriptive study explores the impact of washback on ESL students’ performance at secondary level. In this study, the term “washback” refers to the test effect on content of curriculum, learning English, teaching and the activities conducted in classroom. The factors other than the test itself may affect positive washback; lack of positive washback does not make test invalid whereas the negative washback effect occurs when there is lack of construct validity of test. Test design and validity plays vital role in achieving positive washback (Messick, 1996). The study aims to investigate the effects of positive washback and benefits in learning and teaching processes in ESL classrooms, while negative washback effects are destructive and can be a hindrance in achieving the goals in ESL classrooms. Recent research is descriptive in nature and survey based method was adopted for this study. 50 teachers were selected by using purposive sampling technique and 100 students were selected by using simple random sampling technique. Three tools were used for this study including: Questionnaire, Test and Observation checklist. The findings of the study exhibit that negative washback effect has its influence on tests, learning and teaching. The study concludes with a realization of the fact that language pedagogy is affected by washback. However, it is claimed by majority of the teachers that washback affects the selection of teaching methods because exams stress brings pressure and it becomes necessary for English teachers to develop linguistic competence in their students. For future researches it is recommended that other studies should be made in order to find out the impact of washback on the strategies adopted by learners while learning second language.

The existence of Guidance and Counseling Teachers as one of the educators has the task of developing the potential and independence of students. Therefore, the competence of the BK teacher is needed in shaping the student's personality to become a superior person which is applied in the school environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the personality competencies of BK teachers and their impact on students' personalities. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Kerinci. The population in this study were 399 students, the sampling technique used proportional random sampling with a sample of 120 people. Furthermore, to determine the extent of the teacher's personality competence, a sample of 3 BK teachers was taken. Methods of collecting data using a questionnaire, a questionnaire about the personality competencies of teachers and students. Data analysis used descriptive percentage analysis. Based on data analysis, it was found that the highest aspect of teacher competence is faith and piety to God Almighty, while the highest aspect of student personality is displaying noble character.

Impact of Work Discipline on the Performance Capability of the Nagari Apparatus in Managing Financial Nagari in Banuhampu and Sungai Pua Districts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of work discipline on the performance capabilities of the nagari apparatus in nagari financial management in Banuhampu and Sungai Pua Districts. The population used in this study were all nagari apparatus in Banuhampu and Sungai Pua Subdistricts of 80 people, while the samples used as many as 75 respondents were determined by the Slovin formula using the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection in this study was conducted using a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the work discipline of the nagari apparatus is relatively high while the performance of the nagari apparatus is still low and the results of the regression test explain that work discipline has an impact on the performance capabilities of the nagari apparatus in nagari financial management in Banuhampu and Sungai Pua Districts.

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to determine the influence of commitment organization on performance of nagari government apparatus in managing nagari finance in X Koto Singkarak District Junjung Sirih. This research uses quantitative methods with the form of associative research. The population is all the nagari in the two sub-districts, as many as 70 respondents from the nagari device. The sample was 68 respondents determined by the Slovin formula and a 2% error rate using the multi stage random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires distributed to respondents with Likert scale measurements. Dataof this study were analyzed using multiple linear regression test. The results show that the effect of the affective commitment variable on the performance of nagari devices in nagari financial management is 5.7%. normative on the performance of nagari devices in managing nagari finances by 6.4%. Together, the influence of the three cariables was on the performance of nagari devices in nagari financial management in District X Koto Singkarak and Junjung Sirih at 10.8%. So it was concluded that the organizational commitment of nagari devices had a significant effect on the performance of nagari devices in managing financial nagari.Keywords:Commitment organization, job performance, finance managementABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja perangkat nagari dalam pengelolaan keuangan nagari di Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak dan Junjung Sirih. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian asosiatif. Populasinya adalah seluruh nagari yang ada di dua kecamatan tersebut yaitu sebanyak 70 responden perangkat nagari. Sampelnya adalah sebanyak 68 responden ditentukan dengan rumus slovin dan tingkat kesalahan 2% menggunakan teknik multi stage random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan angket yang disebarkan kepada responden dengan pengukuran skala likert. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil penelitian bahwa pengaruh variabel komitmen afektif terhadap kinerja perangkat nagari dalam pengelolaan keuangan nagari adalah sebesar 5,7% , pengaruh variabel komitmen kontinuitas terhadap kinerja perangkat nagari dalam pengelolaan keuangan nagari sebesar 8,5%, dan pengaruh komitmen normatif terhadap kinerja perangkat nagari dalam pengelolaan keuangan nagari sebesar 6,4%. Secara bersama-sama pengaruh ketiga variabel tersebut terhadap kinerja perangkat nagari dalam pengelolaan keuangan nagari di Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak dan Junjung Sirih sebesar 10,8%. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa komitmen organisasi perangkat nagari berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja perangkat nagari dalam pengelolaan keuangan nagari. Dimana poros perubahan itu berawal dari desa dan kemudian menjalar ke Kota dan Provinsi.Dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2014 pasal 1 ayat 1 telah dijelaskan bahwa desa telah memiliki kewenangan untuk mengatur dan mengurus urusan pemerintahannya sendiri. Dalam Peraturan Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Barat Nomor 7 Tahun 2018 tentang Nagari dijelaskan bahwa Nagari adalah Kesatuan Masyarakat Hukum Adat secara geneologis dan historis, memiliki batas-batas dalam wilayah tertentu, memiliki harta kekayaan sendiri, berwenang memilih pemimpinnya secara musyawarah serta mengatur dan mengurus kepentingan masyarakat setempat berdasarkan filosofi dan sandi adat, Adat Basandi Syara’ – Syara’ Basandi Kitabullah dan/atau berdasarkan asal usul dan adat istiadat setempat dalam wilayah Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Untuk mengatur dan mengurus desa, pemerintah telah mengganggarkan APBN (alokasi dana desa) bagi setiap desa di Indonesia dengan total kurang lebih Rp 1 Miyar. penggunaan dana desa terbagi atas belanja aparatur dan operasional pemerintahan desa sebesar 30%

This study aims to determine the results of the formation of student character in a full day school. The method used is descriptive quantitative using the ex post facto approach. The population of this research was 117 people and 33 samples were taken using purposive random sampling technique. With data analysis techniques to see the average results of the formation of student characters using a character questionnaire. Based on the results of statistical data that has been done by researchers, students in the Full Day School environment have an average character of 88.21. From these data it can be concluded that students who are in full day school have good character.

This study aims to determine the effect of peer conformity through money attitudes toward adolescence’s consumptive behavior. The method used is descriptive verification method with ex post facto and survey approach. Data collecting technique was done by using questionnaire. Sampling technique in this study was proportional stratified random sampling, the number of samples were 165 adolescents. Hypothesis testing in this study was conducted by using linear regression test with path analysis. The results show the significance of peer conformity influence on consumptive behavior was 32.4%. The value of the influence of peer conformity to consumer behavior is indirectly obtained by 11, 22%. The findings indicated all hypotheses were accepted, that peer conformity shows a significant effect on consumptive behavior. Adolescent who have high conformity will tend to behave consumptively.

The purpose of this research is to know the influence between self efficacy and adversity quotient on entrepreneurial interests of students, the effect of self efficacy on student entrepreneurial interests, and the effect of adversity quotient on student entrepreneurial interests. The method used is survey. Samples were obtained using simple random sampling technique as many as 105 students took entrepreneurship courses at one of the PTS in Jakarta. Data analysis is done using the help of the SPSS-16 program. Test requirements the analysis used is the test of normality, linearity test and multicolinearity test. The hypothesis test using a correlational test is followed by a double regression test. Based on the results of the research, the results that: 1) there are influence of self efficacy and adversity quotient jointly towards entrepreneurial interest. Self efficacy and adversity quotient contributions to entrepreneurial interest of 45.7% of the remaining 54.3% are donated by variables other than self efficacy and adversity quotient; 2) there is self efficacy influence on entrepreneurial interest, and 3) there is adversity quotient influence on entrepreneurial interest

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) memperoleh gambaran tentang self-efficacy, lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan minat berwirausaha pada siswa SMK Jasa Boga; 2) mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy, lingkungan keluarga, dan lingkungan sekolah baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama terhadap minat berwirausaha siswa SMK Jasa Boga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SMK kelas XII Kompetensi Keahlian Jasa Boga se kota Yogyakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linier sederhana dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. 1) Self-efficacy siswa sangat tinggi (mean 50,22); lingkungan keluarga siswa tinggi (mean 43,93); lingkungan sekolah tinggi (mean 44,72); dan minat berwirausaha siswa sangat tinggi (mean 47,25). 2) Terdapat pengaruh self-efficacy, lingkungan keluarga, dan lingkungan sekolah baik secara sendiri-sendiri maupun bersama-sama terhadap minat berwirausaha. Sumbangan efektif ketiga variabel bebas secara bersama-sama terhadap variabel terikatnya sebesar 39,35%. This was an ex post facto study. The research population comprised Grade XII students of the Culinary Service Department at VHSs in Yogyakarta. The sample, was selected by means of the proportional random sampling technique. The data were analyzed by means of the descriptive technique, simple linear regression, and multiple regression. The results of the study are as follows. 1) The students’ self-efficacy is very high (mean 50.22), their family environment is high (mean 43.93), their school environment is high (mean 44.72), and their entrepreneurial interest is very high (mean 47.25). 2) There is a significant positive effect of self-efficacy, family environment ,school environment both individually and as an aggregate on the entrepreneurial interest. The effective contribution of the three independent variables as an aggregate to the dependent variable is 39.35%.
