The existence of Guidance and Counseling Teachers as one of the educators has the task of developing the potential and independence of students. Therefore, the competence of the BK teacher is needed in shaping the student's personality to become a superior person which is applied in the school environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the personality competencies of BK teachers and their impact on students' personalities. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Kerinci. The population in this study were 399 students, the sampling technique used proportional random sampling with a sample of 120 people. Furthermore, to determine the extent of the teacher's personality competence, a sample of 3 BK teachers was taken. Methods of collecting data using a questionnaire, a questionnaire about the personality competencies of teachers and students. Data analysis used descriptive percentage analysis. Based on data analysis, it was found that the highest aspect of teacher competence is faith and piety to God Almighty, while the highest aspect of student personality is displaying noble character.

This study aims to determine the results of the formation of student character in a full day school. The method used is descriptive quantitative using the ex post facto approach. The population of this research was 117 people and 33 samples were taken using purposive random sampling technique. With data analysis techniques to see the average results of the formation of student characters using a character questionnaire. Based on the results of statistical data that has been done by researchers, students in the Full Day School environment have an average character of 88.21. From these data it can be concluded that students who are in full day school have good character.

This study aims to determine the completeness of facilities and infrastructure of biological laboratories, to know the intensity and implementation of biological practice, and to know the influence of laboratory facilities and infrastructure in supporting biology learning in SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The population used as the object of research is all students of class XI majoring in science amounted to 6 classes and biology subject teachers in SMA Negeri 1 PercutSei Tuan who teaches in class XI majoring in IPA amounting to 2 people. The sample used in this study were teachers and students. Student sampling technique in this research is done by random sampling (34 random sampling) where every element of entire population have equal opportunity or opportunity to become sample of research. Sampling technique for teachers is done in total sampling as much as 2 people. The result of data analysis obtained is the completeness of laboratory facilities and infrastructure at school is good with percentage 66,63%, the implementation of biology practicum based on questionnaire given to teacher and student of SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan have average that is 67,5% (teacher ) and 72.43% (students), the implementation of practicum activities in SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan only 8 times practicum with a percentage of 40% (less good).Keywords: Laboratory Facilities and Infrastructure, Practical Implementation, Biology Learning.

Verbal aggressive behavior is a negative behavior that is often found in everyday life. Researchers found verbal forms of student behavior when communicating with friends such as taunting friends by mentioning the name of a parent, hurting a friend by calling him an illegitimate child, and speaking harshly to the teacher. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the school environment on students' verbal aggressive behavior in communication. The population of this research is VIII grade students. The research sample of 160 people were selected using the Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data analysis using correlational product moment with the results of r_count of 0.328 and r_tabel value of 0.148 or in other words r_count> r_tabel = 0.328> 0.148. This shows the influence of the school environment on students' verbal aggressive behavior in communication.

The research is proposed to test the influence of Leadership and Motivation Work on Public Service Quality. The population in this study was the Kantor Kementerian Agama Sungai Penuh who had received the last 1 year service at the Kantor Kementerian Agama Sungai Penuh, amounting to 260 people. Furthermore, by using the Slovin formula, a sample size of 158 people was chosen with a sampling technique based on Simple Random Sampling. This study uses primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques used are path analysis and hypothesis testing using t test with data analysis using SPSS version 20. The results of the study based on showing that partially the Leadership and motivation work have a positive and significant effect on Public Service Quality. The results also show that motivation work variables act as intervening variables between Leadership and Public Service Quality.

Aspiration means the goal that individual set for him in a task which has intense personal significance for him and in which his ego is involved. School is one of the major agencies of socialization which has great influence and bearing on the development of aspirations of the child. It is the School which sets the pattern for the child’s attitude towards people and society, aids intellectual growth in the child and supports his aspirations and achievements. A positive affective School environment increases the livelihood that a child can initiate and persist in challenging and intellectual tasks. Thus the present study is envisaged to assess the Educational and Occupational aspiration of the Secondary School students in relation to their School Environment. The main purpose of the study was to find out the level of Educational and Occupational aspiration in relation to the School environment of the Secondary School students. For the study, 12 Provincialized Co-Educational Secondary schools were selected as sampled Schools by using simple random sampling technique and 490 Class-X students from the sampled schools were selected. Educational aspiration scale (EAS), Occupational aspiration Scale (OAS) and School Environment Inventory were used as tool of the study.

<p>Abstract: The purpose of this research at finding out empirical evidence concerning whether clustering technique and vocabulary mastery are effective or not for the student to write recount text. The research methodology used is an experiment. The sampling technique uses random sampling at Private Vocational High Schools in East Jakarta. Data collection is obtained by testing their vocabulary mastery and writing skills. Data analysis to test hypothesis is two ways ANOVA. The research results conclude 1) There is a significant effect of the clustering technique on students’ writing skills with the value (Sig) being 0.000 &lt; 0.05 and F0 = 36.740. 2) A significant effect of vocabulary mastery on students’ writing skills with the value (Sig) is 0.000 &lt; 0.05 and F0 = 72.161. 3) There is a significant interactive effect of clustering technique and vocabulary mastery on students’ writing skills. With the value (sig) is 0.018 &lt; 0.05 and F0 = 5.921. Then all of H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. This study aims to find out 1) Influence of Student Perception on Financial Compensation and Work Environment On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students 2) Influence of Student Perception On Financial Compensation On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students and 3) Influence of Student Perception About Work Environment On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students. The population in this study was students of Economic Education Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang and the number of selected samples as many as 119 students. This type of research is descriptive associative research. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling by using proportional stratified random sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, analysis requirement test, multiple regression, F test, determinant coefesien and t test. The results showed that 1) Students' Perception of Financial Compensation and Work Environment  had a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession. 2) Student Perception of Financial Compensation has a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession. 3) Student Perception of The Work Environment has a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession.

              This research generally aims to get brief description of teachers’ understanding aboutnstudents and its implication in learning process. Specifically, the purpose of this research are to get description about: 1) teachers understanding about students and its defferences among variables, 2) the implementation of high touch unsure in learning process according  to teachers’ and students and defferences among them, 3) the contribution of teachers, understanding about student toward high touch applied in learning process and, the different response between teachers and students about high touch  implementation. This research is conducted by descriptive quantitative method.  The population is all teachers and students at senior high school in Padang. Samples are taken by using stratified cluster random sampling technique. The percentage, correlation and t test. The results of this research reveal that: 1) everall, teachers understanding is in middle category, so is with the implementation toward learning process, 2) five observable variables about the nature of man are valid and can be used to explain teachers’ understanding about the nature of man as laten variable, and six observable variables  about high touch  implementation as implication of teachers’ understanding about student in learning process.  Therefore, teachers understanding about student  has positive and significant correlation with implementation  of teachers’ understanding about nature of man toward learning process trough high touch  implementation, and 3) teachers’ opinion about high touch implementation as implication of teachers’ understanding toward learning process differ significantly with students’ opinion. In general, teachers’ opinion score is higher compared with student’s opinion score

The research aims to discuss(1) How planned of the headmaster in an effort to increase self-awareness of school residents regarding the importance of the environment, 2) How to implement planned programs related to efforts to increase self-awareness of school residents, and 3) identify supporting factors in implementation of the program carried out as an effort to increase self-awareness of school residents. The method of research used qualitative method. Subjects of this research consisted of headmaster, subject teachers, and students. Subjects of research is based on determining purposive random sampling technique. Collecting of data is through interviews, observation and documentation. The analyzing of data using the Miles Huberman analysis model with the several stages are collecting of data, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results show that there an increased in self-awareness of school residents about the environment after several programs had been carried out. The vision, mission and regulation of the school are being the one of programs that succeeded in increase awareness of school residents. The implementation program by applying clean fridays, installing CCTVs and coaching by the headmaster and teachers to the students directly. The supporting factors in  implementation of efforts to increase self-awareness of school residents to the environment are the commitment, awareness and desire of school residents to embody the programs that have been implemented. The strategy of headmaster is always monitor the activities of school residents through the CCTVs that have been installed and spot checking directly to be more effective and the results showed increased self-awareness of school residents for enviroment has occurred since last semester.

This research aimed for: describing factor that cause of the durating of student completing the thesis in Economic Faculty on State University of Padang. The type of this research is descriptive cuantitative. Population of this researh is the student of Economic Faculty on State university of Padang generatin 2010-2013 where they are complete their thesis. Data collection’s technique with questionarie which use proportional random sampling technique. Sampel for this research is 81 student. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, and exploratory analysis factor.The result from this reseach identify cause the length of the student completing their thesis in Economic Faculty on State University of Padang, and  analysis factors being caused is psycological factors, campus environtment factors, family factors, interaction with friend factors, and  attention factors. The dominant factor of this research is psycological factors with variabels effective and efficient guidance, less discipline on guidance, more inquired, attention, guidance schedule, interested, motivation, and readiness. The dominant factor make student long to completing their thesis is quidance schedule.
