In the world of education, we must quickly obtain information and be fast in sending the requested information. Indonesia is one of the developing countries that is trying to take advantage of this digitization system. With the digitization system, it is hoped that it will make it easier to send and convey information to relevant agencies in need. This activity is carried out with the aim of providing training and technical implementation so that school supervisors can take advantage of supporting media and provide useful new knowledge. The method used in this community service is the seminar method. The results obtained after this activity were that the participants were able to apply google drive and create blogs independently, in turn, and under supervision. The conclusion of the research results is that school supervisors get new knowledge, are able to operate and create google drives and blogs, understand that adding data storage patterns and data management can be done easily and efficiently.

Within last decades, there were very high level of increase of information technology production. This production successfully speeds up technological changes in only developed countries. Such a situation results use of existing knowledge as input in production of new knowledge in monopoly of developed countries. Developing countries are, however, still struggling with their own socio-politic and/or socio-economic problems. This process create a bigger technological gap between developed and developing countries. One of the reasons for that is lack of physical and human capital in developing countries. This is common problem in the world and necessary precautions should be taken in timely manner. This study discusses the problematic issues of information technology creation in both developed and developing countries and suggest some solutions.

Hypertension is one of the main problems in public health in Indonesia and the world. It is estimated that around 80% of cases of hypertension occur mainly in developing countries in the year 2025 from a total of 639 million cases in 2000. Problems faced by partners at this time include people in the village of Prevention rarely conducted health counseling by the Puskesmas especially about Hypertension, none Posyandu for the elderly and the community rarely exercise regularly. This community service activity was carried out in the village of Enforcement which is one of the villages located in Pelawan sub-district, Sarolangun District, Jambi. Time of implementation in February 2018. The target is the elderly. The methods used were survey, lecture, discussion, demonstration / simulation approaches. The results of this program is prevention for parents where they are able to understand of  the management and prevention of hypertension. It is recommended for Health Officers, especially in Puskesmas, to activate posyandu for the elderly so that the elderly can get health services regularly and get more information about health problems.

This chapter presents the findings of the latest research results in terms of sales forecasting practices in 30 small-scale manufacturing plants in Macedonia. Findings about organizational sales forecasting practices are obtained through three sets of main issues: design, selection, and evaluation. Design issues are related with the purpose/use of forecast, types of data, time horizon, and frequency of sales forecasting modification. Selection issues are related to the most popular sales forecasting techniques, and several evaluation issues are elaborated in detail. Macedonian sales forecast practices of Macedonian small-scale manufacturing participants may be of interest to similar companies in the world, especially in developing countries.

Anemia is a nutritional problem in the world which occurs not only in developing countries but also in developed countries. Low iron intake often occurs in people who consume foods that are less diverse, such as protein. Iron deficiency anemia is more common in young women than young men because young women experience menstruation every month and are in their infancy, thus requiring more iron intake. The problems faced by partners today include the lack of knowledge about adolescents about anemia, so it is considered necessary to provide counseling to provide knowledge to adolescents to prevent anemia in adolescents. Community Service Activities are carried out at SMP N 13 Jambi City. The time of implementation is in April 2018. The target is students of SMP N 13 Kota Jambi. Community service methods survey approach, lecture, discussion, demonstration / simulation. The results obtained are students able to understand about the prevention of anemia in adolescents. It is recommended that health workers, especially at the Puskesmas, give more counseling about anemia to young women before giving blood-added tablets, so that students get information about anemia and want to consume the added blood tablets.

Data is the basis of research. On the other side, the world has a problem of replication. The first problem is we don’t really know how to manage our own data to able to reanalyze it at some point after the research has been finished. The lifetime of data is very short, in only one or two fiscal years. In this article we will describe on how to write a research data management in order to extend the lifetime of data. There are seven basic components to remember before writing a proper research data management: (1) Data storage and software, (2) Metadata, (3) Structure, (4) Persistent link, (5) Licensing, (6) Data maintainer, (7) Indexing. In several fields, including medicine, an anomyzation strategy will be needed. We also need to put into account the Intellectual Property Rights and data ownership in to the equation, as Indonesian scientists are not properly exposed to those subjects.

Abstract Background Managing research data in biomedical informatics research requires solid data governance rules to guarantee sustainable operation, as it generally involves several professions and multiple sites. As every discipline involved in biomedical research applies its own set of tools and methods, research data as well as applied methods tend to branch out into numerous intermediate and output data objects, making it very difficult to reproduce research results. Objectives This article gives an overview of our implementation status applying the Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability (FAIR) Guiding Principles for scientific data management and stewardship onto our research data management pipeline focusing on the software tools that are in use. Methods We analyzed our progress FAIRificating the whole data management pipeline, from processing non-FAIR data up to data usage. We looked at software tools for data integration, data storage, and data usage as well as how the FAIR Guiding Principles helped to choose appropriate tools for each task. Results We were able to advance the degree of FAIRness of our data integration as well as data storage solutions, but lack enabling more FAIR Guiding Principles regarding Data Usage. Existing evaluation methods regarding the FAIR Guiding Principles (FAIRmetrics) were not applicable to our analysis of software tools. Conclusion Using the FAIR Guiding Principles, we FAIRificated relevant parts of our research data management pipeline improving findability, accessibility, interoperability and reuse of datasets and research results. We aim to implement the FAIRmetrics to our data management infrastructure and—where required—to contribute to the FAIRmetrics for research data in the biomedical informatics domain as well as for software tools to achieve a higher degree of FAIRness of our research data management pipeline.
