The sample of this research was children aged 6-23 months as many as 39 people. Data collection was carried out by interview and measurement of children's length / height. Univariate and bivariate data analysis used Chi Square test with ƿ-value <0.05. Based on the bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting with ƿ-value 0.037. The results showed the percentage of stunting in children aged 6-23 months was greater in children who were not given exclusive breastfeeding (50%) than those who received exclusive breastfeeding (17.65%).  AbstractBackground: The practice of breastfeeding in Indonesia is not 100% carried out. The data stated that in 2017 children aged <6 months who were exclusively breastfed were around 52%. This figure is considered low and below the national target (80%). One of the important key holders of successful breastfeeding is the mother's readiness to breastfeed. Mothers can prepare starting from knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding. In order to be able to carry out mature exclusive breastfeeding, preparation for lactation since pregnancy is an important factor. Considering that the mother's readiness is still low, it is important to conduct research on this readiness factor. This study aims to analyze the effect of mother's readiness on breastfeeding success. Methods: This research uses analytical observational with cross sectional approach. The sample used was 100 babies according to the specified criteria. The data collection technique was done by filling out online questionnaires. The data were then analyzed using the Chi Square test. Results:  This study shows the effect of mothers readiness with breastfeeding success which obtained a p value of 0.045. the results of the chi square test showed that mother’s readiness = 0.045 (α < 0,05), mother’s knowledge = 0.005 (α < 0,05) and lactation preparation = 0.19 (α < 0,05). Conclusion: These data indicate that there is an influence of mother's readiness on breastfeeding success.

Hypertension is a condition when blood pressure increases chronically. Ministry of Health (2007) states, mortality due to hypertension ranks second of total deaths from non-communicable diseases (12.3%). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension in polyclinic disease in RSUD Dr. Achmad Mochtar Bukittinggi. This study used descriptive analytic method with cross sectional study approach with 100 respondents and using correlation dynamics technique, research instrument is questionnaire by using chi-square statistic test. The result of the study (46%) had age 35-55 years old (51%) had bad diet, (51%) had high stress and 51% respondents consumed cigarettes. The result of statistic test was found on the association of age factor with the incidence of hypertension p-value 0.031, on the association of dietary factors with the incidence of hypertension obtained p-value 0.083, on the relationship of stress factor with hypertension occurrence obtained p-value 0.050 and on the relationship of smoking factor to the incidence Hypertension was obtained p-value 0.204, so it can be concluded from the four factors, only the age factor and stress factors that are related to the incidence of hypertension. It is expected that the health service can conduct an extension activity about hypertension which will be used as routine hospital program in improving health degree
