The development of new directions while performing of various types of examinations and forensic researches is one of the priority areas of scientific activity of experts of forensic science institutions of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. One of problematic issues arising at the present stage of the development of forensic trade analysis is determining the cost of services, choosing a methodological approach and method for performing aforesaid researches, the limits of competence of forensic trade experts while determining the cost of certain services. Creating methodological recommendations “Determining the Cost of Services while performing forensic trade analysis «will contribute to the improvement of the quality of expert practice in carrying out the forensic examinations in this field. Whole performing forensic trade researches to determine the cost of services in the framework of the expert subject field 12.1. «Determining the cost of machinery, equipment, raw materials and consumer goods» raises a lot of disputes and doubts, both among forensic experts working in state expert institutions and among appraisers. This is due to the fact that the service is considered to be a product that is endless that means intangible. Also, one of the arguments is that the word service is not listed in the title of specialty 12.1 and does not apply to objects of valuation in intangible form, according to the definitions of national standard No. 1 «General principles for property and property rights assessment». At the 39th meeting of the section of forensic trade analysis at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine which was held in May 2018, it was proposed to consider a research work on the topic: “Determining the cost of services while performing forensic trade examinations” will contribute to ensure objectivity and completeness of research on determining the cost of services, the formation of uniform methodological principles for performing examinations and forensic researches in this area filling in the gaps in determining the cost of services, using them for preparing and confirmation of the qualifications of forensic experts in relevant subject field.

This research aims to measure the benefit of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) product not only came from the company perceptions but also came from the government, academician, and consumer perceptions in Surabaya. The empirical study result showed that all of the respondents had a positive perception on the SNI product. They stated agreement that the SNI product had benefit on the attributes: quality guarantee of product, safe to use, a fair prices, quality of raw materials, and efficiency. Those attributes support the enhancement of company’s competitiveness. However, most of the respondents of companies and consumers state did not know about the quality guarantee of the SNI product. The results were contradictory, the respondents who came from the companies knew more about quality guarantee of the SNI product compared to the other respondents. Furthermore, the respondents of academicians, consumers, and particularly companies state that they did not know about the easiness of the SNI certification process and the government provide an incentive for the registration fee of the SNI certification. This ignorance will impact on the perceptions that process of the SNI certification was complicated and costly. Besides, it showed that the government was less to conduct socialization for the certification program compared to socialization for the standard program.

Further development of the open mining works on the domestic enterprises will be accompanied by the worsening of mining-geological conditions and declining of the quality of iron ore raw materials. In the same time, the accumulated mining wastes, that can make the technogenic deposits, pass into one of the important sources of the mineral raw materials. Taking into account this thing, the development and implementation of the modern technological circuits of the technogenic deposit development is an actual calling for mining industry, and determination and optimization of process conditions of the technogenic deposit development – is the scientific task of this publication. The obtained results of studies of the optimum step value of the ore chute transfer during the technogenic deposit development can be used by design organizations and mining enterprises for designing works. The obtained methodology and the proposed mathematical dependencies will reduce the cost of mining of the technogenic deposit due to the reasonable timely transfer of the open ore chute.

Prior to the start of any Wind Power Park construction project, it is necessary to carefully assess available wind potential in the selected area. The cost of such investigative studies is considerable – even with a relatively small 70 m tall mast it reaches several tens of thousands of Euros. In order to reduce costs related to wind speed measurements it is suggested to use the existing cellular communication masts that are widely spread in Europe. The study presents a methodological approach and the results of wind speed and wind shear measurements performed with the use of lattice cellular communication masts at the height of up to 100 m. A CFD model of airflow around a cellular communication mast structure was created in order to explore the impact of mast structure on the quality of wind speed measurements. The paper presents the results of the CFD modelling in the form of contour maps depicting the severity of airflow disturbances around the mast. The study is based on experimental measurements conducted in 2018 in three coastal sites of Latvia. At each site wind speed and direction were measured at several heights along with air temperature, humidity and air pressure. The experimentally obtained data in combination with the analysis of modelled CFD results shows the possibility of using cellular communication masts for accurate measurements of wind speed. Overall, the study shows that the proposed approach to wind speed measurements can result in high quality data and reduced overall expenses.

For the first time, the activity of the weaving vocational school in the village Digtyari (modern Chernihiv region) is analyzed. It was the leading educational institution of the middle level of vocational education of the Ukrainian SSR in the second half of the 1920s, in which the creators of traditional textiles studied. The students learned the skills of making carpets, embroidered shirts, and kerchiefs. On the basis of archival sources, the histories, educational process, composition of the teaching and student groups of the school during 1926-1929 are covered. Established in the fall of 1926, the institution was to train qualified master practitioners for the factory and handicraft arts industry, who had formed an artistic taste. The teaching staff initially consisted of local general education teachers and visiting instructors and teachers of special subjects (O. Reisfeld and M. Dyachenko). The institution was headed by uneducated communists Yu. Kozelev and S. Lutayenko. The students of the first set were mostly non-locals, orphans. But the second set already consisted mostly of children of local peasants and artisans. The school had a significant material base, which remained from the textile educational institutions that operated in Digtyary during the first quarter of the twentieth century. The main rooms were located on the right-wing of the main building of the palace complex of the Galagan estate. As a result of the study of the materials of the minutes of the meetings of the school council, the conflict situations that constantly arose between the managers and their supporters and visiting specialists and led to the departure of the latter from Digtyary were analyzed. The initial stage of the existence of the Digtyari weaving professional school, problems in relations between staff, and the originality of the contingent of the first set of students influenced the quality of their training. As it is clear from the available sources, during the first and the beginning of the second school year students worked both theoretically and practically, but due to lack of raw materials they could not produce a significant amount of full-fledged products. The school’s workshop worked on “factory” and, in part, “peasant” raw materials. At the end of the second year of study, students were already making work suitable for sale. The school operated in two directions. The visiting instructor, an experienced artist M. Dyachenko brought a new vision of teaching graphic literacy into the educational process. Weaving and embroidery instructors who either graduated from the textile schools previously existing in Digtyary (A. Reisfeld, V. Nikolskaya) or worked there for a long time (G. Tsybuleva) broadcast local traditions. During the years under study, about 100 students studying at the institution, and one graduation took place. Troubles in the personal relationship between teachers and school management and insufficient funding have affected the quality of education. But even in such conditions, students not only mastered special and general education subjects but also participated in exhibitions, made marketable products, engaged in research work. Curricula developed by M. Dyachenko and O. Reisfeld became a model for other craft educational institutions. And the textbook was written by O. Reisfeld - the first Ukrainian-language textbook on the technology of folk weaving. Keywords: Digtyari weaving professional school, Mykhaylo Dyachenko, Pryluky region.

With this fourth issue of 1993, we have completed ten years of publishingthe American Journal of Islamic Social Sciences (MISS). Westarted our journey in 1984 with two issues published during the yearunder the title of American Journal of Islamic Studies. The next year itwas transformed into the American Journal of Islamic Social Sciences(AJISS). The first decade has been quite a pioneering experience, and bynow we have been able to identify a growing pool of thinkers, writers, and social scientists who are participating in our endeavor to promote ascholarly forum on Islam. In this issue, Rosalind W. Gwynne's paper is part of a continuing discussionon sunnah. She demonstrates that, in Islamic texts, sunnah doesnot refer only to the Sunnah of the Prophet, of the local community, orof the Companions and the early community; it can refer to the "SunnatAll&" (the practice of God). She reviews the occurrence of the wordsunnah in the Qur'an and, by analyzing some tafair and early documents, shows that it also refers to the universal and unchanghg rules thatAllah has established and set into motion. She quotes Wensinck's Concordanceof Hadith, in which sunnah has been used in the context of"Sunnat Alliih alongside with "Sunnat a1 Nabi" and sunnah in othersenses. Social scientists must concentrate on the "Sunnat AllW in orderto understand the universal laws of Allah that govern social phenomena.Louay Safi provides a methodological approach that recognizes revelationas a primary source of knowledge and seeks to use both text andaction analysis techniques as necessary theory-building tools. He arguesthat scientific activity presupposes metaphysical knowledge and that, furthermore,it is even impossible without transcendental ptesuppositions. Healso contends that revelation's truth is rooted in empirical reality and thatthe quality of evidence supporting revealed truth is of no less caliber thanthat justifying empirical truth.Ebtihaj Al-A'ali presented her paper on "Assumptions Concerning theSocial Sciences: A Comparative Perspective" at a recent Toronto, Canada, confemce dealing with cross-cultural knowledge. She summarizes briefly ...

Centrifugal and vibrational technological effects are among the main approaches to intensify the process of plant raw materials hydrolysis for pectin extraction. With the impulse intensification of such a process, it is possible not only to increase its efficiency, but also to achieve the compactness of the equipment, reduce the cost of electricity and improve the quality of the product of hydrolysis. The hypothesis is confirmed, according to which the vibro-centrifugal intensification of hydrolysis increases the driving force of the process by not only activating the material flows of raw materials and reagents, but also by reducing the resistance in the technological environment. Graphical and analytical dependencies of the power and energy parameters of the oscillatory system were obtained, which proved the overcoming of the flow resistance of the liquid medium in the entire speed range of the drive shaft with the potential to intensify the process at a power consumption of 2.0 – 3.0 kW and or by the force of 2.3 – 2.5 kN using the Lagrange and Cauchy methods for composing and solving the equations of motion of the moving components of the tested hydrolyser with vibrating activators, and the methods of mathematical analysis and their processing in the MathCAD. The analysis of the presented parameters of the studied process of mixing the pectin-containing mass in the hydrolyser allowed us to determine the rational mode parameters of processing, which correspond to the angular velocity of the drive shaft  rad/s at the power consumption of 500 – 600 watts.
