Purpose of the article. To study the process of the emergence of stage truth in the live-action puppet art. To define the peculiarity of creating stage truth by the expressive means of the puppet theatre. To analyze the theoretical works by Gordon Craig concerning the aesthetic concept of "über-marionette". To designate the ways of realization of stage truth in puppet theatre with the help of Gordon Craig`s "über-marionette" concept. Methodology of the research consists in the application of methods of system analysis, analogy, comparison, and opposition to analyze the "über-marionette" concept in comparative description with the expressive means and aesthetic principles of the live-action puppet art. The scientific novelty of the article is in the view on the nature of stage truth, in considering Gordon Craig`s "über-marionette" concept in the context of psychophysical image creation in puppet theatre and in searching for the ways to realize stage truth of puppet theatre in the context of new puppeteer`s artistic techniques. Conclusions. A live-action puppet, regardless of its system, genre restrictions, and movement characteristics, obeys its own conventional truth. The Puppeteer has Gordon Craig's stage truth. Gordon Craig in his theory of the "über-marionette" substantiated a new kind of stage truth needed by the puppeteer. Thanks to it the puppeteer can transform in his own way and even identify himself with the doll image. However, Craig did not elaborate on the actor's practice of achieving such stage truth. Guided by his theoretical works, one can only make an assumption about the practical implementation of the "über-marionette" theory in the stage practice of the live-action puppet art.

Throughout the years, technologies have developed varied techniques for animators to create films. One of the oldest and interesting techniques of animating is Rotoscope by tracing every single frame from live action footages and enhancing it with animator’s style. In terms of anthropomorphism, it creates an uncanny realistic effect because it mimics the reality of the structure, the proportion and the movement. Due to its easy process in animating, there are some critiques and debates about how far rotoscoping can be considered as the “true” animation. This research would cover the identity of rotoscoping, professionals and animator’s perspective as well as the aesthetic of this technique. Keywords: rotoscope, realism, true animation, perspective and aesthetic

With the development of data transmission networks Internet service providers implement solutions of the OSS/BSS class (Operations Support Systems / Business Support Systems) every year. The integration of different elements of the information and communication network takes place due to the system data, but some issues require further development. Integrated accounting of the technical and socio-economic information is being considered while solving problems of data transmission network design. The aim of the work is structuring the design process of the optical access networks of the Internet provider. Optical access networks based on PON and FTTB technologies have been chosen as the object of study. When executing projects, many factors are to be considered, such as: subjectivity of the designers, level of their competence, interest in using certain technologies by specific groups of designers. To reduce the influence of such factors, it is recommended to apply methods of accumulating and processing information associated with successful or unsuccessful experience of implementing previous projects. Using the system analysis methods and IDEF0 diagrams, a similar design task is structured in the form of diagrams of a draft project and a detailed design, for which groups of variables have been identified. The output values of the diagrams are the intermediate and final assessments of the project, which allows the decision maker to determine feasibility of the subsequent stages of the project implementation. Realizing the proposed provisions shows the opportunities for further development of OSS/ BSS systems in terms of automation of the decision-making support process associated with the selection and practical implementation of access network projects.

The relevance of the practical implementation of the concept of modeling processes of reflexive management of herd behavior at enterprises, which is reduced to the construction of a conceptual information model, is substantiated. The subject of this research is the toolkit of information modeling of the processes of reflexive management of herd behavior at enterprises. The goal of the article is information modeling of the processes of reflexive management of herd behavior at enterprises. Objective: the construction of an information model of the mechanisms of reflexive management of herd behavior in enterprises in the context of the interrelated functions performed by the system in question and the relationship between data, where, among others, information communications are reflected. General scientific methods are used: system analysis – to determine the features of the mechanism of reflexive management of herd behavior at enterprises, structural (functional) analysis – to identify the main functions of the modeling system of processes of reflexive management of herd behavior at enterprises, information modeling methodology SADT (IDEF0 notation) – to develop information models of a system for modeling the processes of reflexive management of herd behavior at enterprises. The results are obtained: an information IDEF0 model of a system for modeling the processes of reflexive management of herd behavior based on the SADT methodology is developed, which allows you to get a holistic picture of the corresponding processes at enterprises, the basic system concepts of which form the basis of the future information system. Conclusions: formalization, within the framework of the information model of the basic functions of the mechanism of modeling the processes of reflexive management of herd behavior at the enterprise, allows us to describe the basic information connections in a logical, convenient and consistent form, present implementation mechanisms, a set of mathematical models and approaches of the corresponding system.

In the second half of the twentieth century, the new generation of political geographers significantly expanded the field of scientific research in studies of the political sphere changing the discourse of political geography. One of the major territorial systems is the territorial and political system (TPS) – the object of political geography, as the direction of human geography. The territorial and political system – is the result of functioning in a particular territory objectively linked elements of political activity. The appearance in the political geography term of “the territorial and political system” has expanded the field of political and geographical researches and gave the opportunity to study the problems territorial-political organization at different hierarchical levels of the world system. The purpose of this work is to formulate the basic research approaches for investigation the territorial and political systems (TPS) on different levels to develop schemes of their politico-geographical analysis. The research solves a series of new tasks that have a theoretical and methodological importance: interpretation the system of concepts forms the modern field of politico-geographical research TPS on different hierarchical levels and helps to build the scheme of systemic politico-geographical analysis. Practical implementation of the scheme systemic politico-geographical analysis will allow to fully studying problems of territorial and political organization of society, to carry out highly specialized research of individual elements of TPS or to analyze the territory in terms of a key (main) issue. Substantiated key positions for building the scheme of systemic politico-geographical analysis have to take into account modern challenges in society. Methodology. Using the methods of system analysis and synthesis, inductive-deductive proof, abstraction and logical constructs provide the systemic research. It was analyzed a great massive of scientific and journalistic materials on the politico-geographical and geopolitical studies.

INTRODUCTION. One of the conditions for the effectiveness of the foreign policy of any state, including its international legal policy, is its scientific character, conceptual validity, reliance on understanding both the objective laws of world development and an accurate assessment of the place and role of the respective state in this process. The creation of such a trend should be based on the synthesis of natural, social, economic, political and cultural factors that characterize the state of the country, an assessment of its participation in the international division of labor, joint projects and development programs, its role in ensuring sustainable development and globalization processes.MATERIALS AND METHODS. The article analyzes the doctrines and tendencies of the foreign policy of the Russian Federation, international treaties of Russia, statements by the leaders of states, as well as the political practice of interstate relations. During the research general scientific methods were used: system analysis, historical, formal legal, comparative, etc. In addition to the materials of the doctrine of international law, scientific categories and constructions of other social sciences (historiosophy, political science, sociology, theory and history of state and law) were used.RESEARCH RESULTS. The study made it possible to come to the conclusion that one of the main concepts of modern international politics is the provisions of the classical Eurasian doctrine. The geopolitical concept of Russia Eurasia is designed to ensure a balance between the western and eastern vectors of the country's foreign policy, predetermines its entire political history, determines the principles and standards of modern life. Of great importance for the foreign policy doctrine of Russia is the Eurasian postulate about the "local development" of our country, the peculiarities of its culture, the existence of a civilizational community. A civilizational approach to assessing the potential of Russia Eurasia should underlie the determination of the scale and nature of Russia's foreign policy. In terms of its historical scale, our country cannot be regarded as a "regional power" even despite its problems and difficulties of the current stage of development. The Eurasian doctrine, the main postulates of which are reflected in the foreign policy concept of the Russian Federation, makes it possible to find the right approaches to solving modern problems of world development, in particular, such challenges for our country as globalization, modernization, the ideology of nationalism, etc.DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS. The discussion of the conceptual base of the foreign policy of theRussian Federation in the doctrine is fragmentary, often carried out in isolation from the search for the national idea of Russia. The difference in approaches to solving this problem significantly complicates the development of an official doctrine of the country's foreign policy and does not make possible to clearly define its national interests. It is obvious that the discussion of these problems should be carried out within the framework of a single cognitive process, the national idea should, on the one hand, become the basic category of the concept of Russia's foreign policy, and on the other, the final result of its creative development. The practical implementation of the Eurasian project by Russia will require making serious adjustments to the country's diplomacy, ensuring its multi-directional, western and eastern balance in the diplomatic, political, humanitarian, legal and other scopes of life.

Highly prevalent in nature, fractal patterns possess self-similar components that repeat at varying size scales. The perceptual experience of human-made environments can be impacted with inclusion of these natural patterns. Previous work has demonstrated consistent trends in preference for and complexity estimates of fractal patterns. However, limited information has been gathered on the impact of other visual judgments. Here we examine the aesthetic and perceptual experience of fractal ‘global-forest’ designs already installed in humanmade spaces and demonstrate how fractal pattern components are associated with positive psychological experiences that can be utilized to promote occupant wellbeing. These designs are composite fractal patterns consisting of individual fractal ‘tree-seeds’ which combine to create a ‘global fractal forest.’ The local ‘tree-seed’ patterns, global configuration of tree-seed locations, and overall resulting ‘global-forest’ patterns have fractal qualities. These designs span multiple mediums yet are all intended to lower occupant stress without detracting from the function and overall design of the space. In this series of studies, we first establish divergent relationships between various visual attributes, with pattern complexity, preference, and engagement ratings increasing with fractal complexity compared to ratings of refreshment and relaxation which stay the same or decrease with complexity. Subsequently, we determine that the local constituent fractal (‘tree-seed’) patterns contribute to the perception of the overall fractal design, and address how to balance aesthetic and psychological effects (such as individual experiences of perceived engagement and relaxation) in fractal design installations. This set of studies demonstrates that fractal preference is driven by a balance between increased arousal (desire for engagement and complexity) and decreased tension (desire for relaxation or refreshment). Installations of these composite mid-high complexity ‘global-forest’ patterns consisting of ‘tree-seed’ components balance these contrasting needs, and can serve as a practical implementation of biophilic patterns in human-made environments to promote occupant wellbeing.

Problem statement: topicality, novelty, methodology of the research. The logical grounds of this article are a requirement of the scientific understanding of specific of Lesya Ukrainka’s work in the national puppet theatre and absence of articles from the marked question. Based on the comparative, diachronicsynchronic, historical, evolutional methods and principles of analytical and culturological approaches, the aim of the article – creation of panorama of the works by Lesya Ukrainka in the Ukrainian puppet theatre of last XX – early XXI century, with the exposure of specific of their interpretations, – is realized as an innovative element of the reseach. The results of the study. Lesya Ukrainka’s work, as a representation of the Ukrainian culture polyphony and Ukrainian nation’s mental horizons specificity, purchased sign status and meaningfulness of the modern scale conceptual, vivid, thematic and expression field for the intensive creative searches of modern representatives of national puppet theatre. Meaningfulness of the creative inheritance by Lesya Ukrainka in the context of the Ukrainian puppet theatre is certified by it representation on the All-Ukrainian festivals, and also activation of it introducing to the modern repertoire of puppet theatre. Research of aesthetic parameters of the specific versions of Lesya Ukrainka’s works allows to establish the presence of certain repertoire dominants – such as the “Forest song”; gravitation to implementation of the earlier not typical for the puppet theatre works as the “Old fairy tale”, and the creation of original presentations, such as the “Lesya Ukrainka. Woman fate”, “Lesya’s letters” (in particular, on the base of epistolary inheritance by authoress). The specifics of embodiment of Lesya Ukrainka’s works in the Ukrainian puppet theatre of last XX – early XX century lays in their inter-textual modification, gravitation to creation of associative artistic space and to use the unconventional systems of dolls (plane- silhouette paper doll in presentation the “Old fairy tale”). In accordance with originality of conceptual foundation of Lesya Ukrainka’s works – drama of ideas – the modern stage directors appeal to the dramaturgical type that marked by secondariness of eventfulness relatively to poetics based on updating of palette of facilities of expressiveness and ideological concepts. Such innovations in “re-reading” of works by the authoress is a dialogue of doll and living acting, that creates two dimensions in development of action (“Stone Lord”, “Forest song”), the symbolic manipulations with the piece of paper (“Lesya’s letters”), creation of synthetic artistic space of the spectacle, that combine light, color, elements of shadows theatre and theatre of reader, living acting, work with the dolls of different constructions and like other, and also intention to the conscious limiting of facilities of expressiveness (monochrome and maximum narrowing space of scenic action in interpretation of the“Forest song”). An innovative touch in the puppet versions of Lesya Ukrainka’s works is the accentuation of mental markers of the national worldview, saturation with the national attributes and folk rites, which to the attraction of contemporary artists to revive the sources of national spiritual culture. In the pluralism of puppet representations, Lesya Ukrainka’s work is marked by a general tendency to philosophical and innovative affirmation of the national foundations of the worldview and the creation of a synthetic artistic space. Conclusion. Lesya Ukrainka’s work is an open and inexhaustible thematic line for the modern national puppet theatre not only due to the lack of an established tradition of its embodiment. Philosophical, symbolic, appealed to the foundations of the national worldview the contents of her work and unbreakable connection of it with world art culture – the attributive features of the creative world of the writer, which determine its timeless relevance for contemporary artists, the conceptual and expressive diversity of its interpretations.

Introduction. The dilemma of «chaos» (a free choice of behavior by each subject) or development based on assessments and strategic goals, formed in account with internal and external factors that would allow keeping things organised, persists in countries that shape a new economic model. Dismantling of the old economic system, the formation of the foundations of post-industrial development in the XXI century raise the issue of strategic planning. Purpose. The study is devoted to the development of the methodological framework of strategic planning based on clarifying the relationships, goals, differences of its main components in the multilevel management system. Besides, it aims to assess the current practices of strategic planning tools in Ukraine and identify areas for improvement in the context of synergy and its security development. Methods. The methodological basis of the study is the use of systematic and comparative approaches in the analysis of the theory and practice of strategic planning at different levels of government. The following research methods were used: induction and deduction; system analysis is used to identify the components of strategic planning at different levels of management; PEST analysis is used to identify factors leading to insufficient effectiveness of this tool in a multilevel management system; institutional and comparative analysis is used to clarify goals and differences of individual components of the system of strategic planning; abstract and logical is used to identify patterns of evolution of strategic planning in the future; marketing analysis is used to clarify the content of management activities in the framework of strategy. Results. Scientific approaches to the interpretation of the essence and place of strategic planning in the management system are generalized. The author’s position on clarification of the content of strategic planning, delimitation of the concepts of «strategy» (as a direction of action), «strategic planning» (as a management function) is presented. The peculiarities of the presentation of strategic planning at different levels of the management hierarchy in Ukraine are shown. The reasons for the low efficiency of strategic goals success in the course of realization of strategies and strategic plans in domestic practice are revealed. The place of strategic planning in the system of institutional mechanisms of multilevel management is specified considering its current documents in Ukraine; the goals and differences of functional load at different levels of the management hierarchy are differentiated. The empirical analysis of the practice of strategic planning allowed us to identify the main challenges that require the search for management decisions at the methodological, legal, and administrative levels. Specifically, the problem of systematization, hierarchy, and autonomy of planning documents; inconsistency of government’s long-term and medium- term strategies with current financial documents (budgets); low quality of macroeconomic forecasts and disregard for international strategies, the presence of «institutional traps» have been defined. Ways to improve strategic planning at the regional and local levels have been identified, in particular in connection with the decentralization reform and increasing the power of local self-government. Attention is paid to ensuring methodologically sound and procedurally fixed interrelation of planning documents, program and financial documents, organizational and methodological support of monitoring and evaluation, as well as information feedback, application of regional and local marketing tools, etc. The conclusion is made about the expediency of considering strategic planning in the system of management mechanisms in the country as a multilevel system, increasing the level of its systematization to achieve a synergy effect, practical implementation of the highest level of strategic planning - strategizing. Discussion. In the mentioned context, the prospects for further research are the problems of coordination of strategic and financial-budget planning systems, the formation of strategic plans in a new format of administrative-territorial entities, the development of methodological and applied provisions for the implementation of strategies.

Against the backdrop of worsening ecological and climatic threats, which have taken on a truly global scale, states are rethinking their environmental protection approaches to address the growing environmental crisis. The intensive use of natural resources, characteristic of the traditional model of economic growth, no longer corresponds to the spirit of the modern environmental agenda. Instead, a new model of eco-culture is being postulated, suggesting a reasonable balance of economic, environmental and social development needs. The relationship between economic development and environmental protection challenges states, including those of the developing world, to switch to clean renewable energy sources, nuclear power plants, and the construction of environmentally friendly housing. As the new driver of globalization, China, facing the aggravation of environmental problems, fully understands the timeliness and importance of their solution like no one else. The article analyzes the environmental agenda in Chinas modern foreign policy using system analysis and the structural-functional method. The complication of the environmental situation in the PRC forces the countrys leadership to take active measures to combat climate change. Beijing is introducing eco-culture into its national development strategy, pursuing a course of building an ecological civilization based on respect and protection of nature. The concept of Xi Jinpings Community of One Destiny for Mankind is crucial in the conceptualization of the environmental dimension. An important role is given to the concepts of ecological civilization and two mountains. With reference to neo-Marxism, the study uses a morphological analysis of the ideology of M. Frieden, according to which the above theories can be classified as nuclear in the general course of socialism with Chinese characteristics. China continues to have a complex and alarming situation with atmospheric pollution. According to the authors deep conviction, within the framework of the general vector of ensuring the countrys prosperity, the PRC leadership is closely engaged in solving environmental problems, which is understood and supported by the world community. The practical implementation of the environmental agenda is mostly characteristic of Xi Jinpings foreign policy strategy.
