Radicalism religion has entered into various sectors of life, including in the realm of education. For this reason, Pesantren as the center of Islamic Education must take a role in the mainstreaming of ideas and moderate attitudes in religion that is in accordance with the noble values of Islam that is peace. In this paper, religious moderation in Ma’had Aly As’adiyah Sengkang will be explored. This paper uses field research which is included in the type of qualitative research using descriptive methods.In this research, it is found that the values of religious moderation in Ma’had Aly As’adiyah; Tawassuth tawazun, I’tidal (fair), tasamuh (tolerance), musawah, Syura, ishlah, aulawiyah, tatawwur wa ibtikar (dynamic and innovative), tahaddur (civilized), wathaniyah wa muwathanah, qudwatiyah. The inculcation of Religious moderation values in Ma’had Aly As’adiyah is carried out by several methods, namely formal classes, halaqah or mappesantreng methods.

This research aims to know the implementation of the management of boarding school in "Modern MBS Yogyakarta and relevance to the goals of Islamic education. The research method used is the research field (field research) with the kind of qualitative research. The technique of data collection by observation, interview and documentation in-depth while testing the validity of data using triangular engineering resources. The results of this study indicate that by looking at the concept of management of Islamic education, boarding school management in MBS Yogyakarta has significant relevance to the purposes of Islamic education conceptually as well as Islamic education values on the fulfillment aspects of competence of learners from the national education goals. Keywords: Management Of Islamic Education, Boarding School, The Goals Of Islamic Education Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi manajemen boarding school di Ponpes Modern MBS Yogyakarta dan relevansinya dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan ialah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara mendalam sedangkan pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan teknik trianggulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan melihat konsep manajemen pendidikan Islam, manajemen boarding school di MBS Yogyakarta memiliki relevansi yang signifikan dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam secara konseptual maupun nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam pada pemenuhan aspek kompetensi peserta didik yang dikembangkan dari tujuan pendidikan Nasional. The purpose of this research is to find out: 1). the implementation of curriculum in nurturing Islamic Education in the House of Detention IIB Salatiga. 2). the management of Islamic Education in the House of Detention IIB Salatiga prison. This research is a qualitative research and is a field research using a case study approach. The objects of this research are the head of the House of Detention, the inmates of the House of Detention IIB Salatiga, the officers of the House of Detention IIB Salatiga, the relevant documents used in House of Detention IIB Salatiga. The data are collected based on: interviews, documentation and data triangulation. The results of this research demonstrate that: the implementation of curriculum in nurturing Islamic Education for inmates in the House of Detention IIB Salatiga are based on a specific curriculum used a guide for Islamic spiritual advisers in the house of detention. The curriculum has been implemented properly so that the prisoner’s mental revolution program can be achieved, though not all. Efforts to revolutionize the mentality and change the character of prisoners are conducted intensively and continously through lectures, discussions and counseling guidance and advice to the inmates. Coaching methods are carried out in two ways, namely inside and outside the room

<p>Pencapaian tujuan  pendidikan Itu  diukur  melalui   evaluasi pendidikan. Evaluasi merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian  ini, tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah mengetahui manajemen evaluasi pendidikan agama islam yang ada di STAIN Kudus. Penelitian  kualitatif ini mengolah data atau dokumen yang ada di STAIN Kudus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa STAIN Kudus memiliki banyak prosedur untuk mengevaluasi kompetensi  mahasiswa, baik test, non-test, presentasi makalah dan penelitian lapangan. Ada banyak jenis mata kuliah, baik mata kuliah yang bersifat teoritis dan praktis. Mahasiswa akan lulus memperoleh  nilai 2.00 akan lulus, kecuali Praktik Profesi Lapangan (PPL) yang menjadi mata kuliah utama. Mahasiswa akan lulus mata kuliah PPL jika memperoleh nilai minimal 3.49.</p><p><strong>kata kunci: manajemen, evaluasi, stain kudus</strong></p><div class="Section1"><p><em>E</em><em>V</em><em>A</em><em>L</em><em>U</em><em>A</em><em>TION MANAGEMENT OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION STUDY IN STAIN KUDUS. In this research, the purpose is knowing the evaluation management  of islamic education in State Islamic College of Kudus (STAIN Kudus). This qualitative research s</em><em>h</em><em>o</em><em>we</em><em>d that </em><em>S</em><em>T</em><em>A</em><em>I</em><em>N Kudus has many procedures to evaluate students’ competence, whether it is test, non test, paper presentation and field research. There  are various  subjects, both theoritical and practical subject.  many procedures standard  to evaluate  the  competence of students, namely test and non-test, and also presentasion of papers and field research. There are many subject matters, both of theoritical and practical subject. Unsuri has a religious characteristic (culture aswaja), like a public campus characterized by “Islam". Characteristics like this, become one of the efforts to as well as a means to request support and cooperation with the community. Admittedly or not, Islamic education institutions or universities in several regions have until now felt that the community often dominated private universities, this was also felt by Unsuri, that most of the people around Unsuri did not immediately choose Unsuri as their chosen campus, based on this phenomenon, the author feels interested in knowing the initial state of the committee's strategy or the new Sunan Giri Surabaya student admission team, to find out the strategies and committee programs of Sunan Giri University Surabaya, this type of research is descriptive qualitative research, namely data collected in the form of words words, images, not numbers, according to Bagda and Taylor, as quoted by Lexy J. Moleong, qualitative research is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral words from people and observed behavior. Meanwhile descriptive research is a form of research that is shown to describe or describe phenomena that exist both natural phenomena and human engineering.

Arabic is the language of Muslim’s holy book, and reading  it is obligatory for Muslims. In Islamic education, Arabic is the language that should be mastered as a means of understanding the original texts of the source of Islamic law. One of the important thing in learning Arabic is the method. Zam-Zam Muhammadiyyah Modern Islamic Boarding School implements a diffent model and method of learning Arabic compared to other Islamic boarding schools in the district of Cilongok. This is a qualitative research, through a case study using interview, observation and documentation techniques for collecting data and interactive analysis for analying data. The findings of this research are three models of Arabic learning in Pondok Pesantren. The first model is khiwar or muhadatsah, the second is mufrodat walls intended to make students familiar with Arabic vocabulary, and the third is Lughoh. The method and model of Arabic learning in the institution as described above is a combined method. There are at least three methods used, i.e. Communicative Problem-Based Learning Method, Audiolingual Method, and Grammar-Translation Method.

The purpose of this study was to gain an understanding of Islamic Religious Education Teachers' exemplary approach to developing students' emotional, spiritual quotients. This article employs a qualitative research methodology in conjunction with a case study approach. The approach taken is consistent with the formulation of the problem under investigation. Informants were chosen based on the research's objectives. Formal and informal interviews were conducted. The findings of this study demonstrate two aspects of the emotional approach in Islamic education: Methods of persuasion and education. Teachers develop spiritual, emotional intelligence by providing students with new knowledge that includes exemplary figures dating all the way back to the Prophet Muhammad's time and exemplary national figures, as well as by inviting students to practice family strategies for recognizing and managing their own emotions, the ability to motivate themselves, the ability to recognize the emotions of others, and how to build relationships with others.

Abstract Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah was one of the Islah Minangkabau scholar that play a huge role in the Islah Islamic thought and Islamic education reformation. Even though his education background is informal and was only received in the Minangkabau region, he can be regarded as an exemplary scholar that is very progressive and can be regarded highly with other Islah scholars. His biggest contribution that gives a huge impact towards the Muslim Minangkabau community is the Islamic education reformation with modern orientation. This model of modern Islamic education Institution that was introduced by Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyah became a prime example to the establishment of other Islamic education institution. Thus, this research will study the Islah movement in Minagkabau and the biography of Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah. In addition, the objective of this research is to analyse his role regarding the thought purification and Islamic education reformation in Indonesia.This research is a qualitative research that utilizes the content analysis as the research design with the use of historical research method.The finding of this research shows that Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah was one of the Islah scholars from the 20th century. Even though he did not receive a formal education and only receive his education in Minangkabau, he emerge as one of the reformation figure of Islah that have a huge impact to the Islah movement in Minangkabau especially the Islamic education reformation and also the Islah of Islamic thought in Minangkabau. The Islamic education reformation that has been done by Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah become the foundation and model of the Islamic education reformation in whole of Minangkabau and Indonesia. Walaupun beliau mempunyai latar belakang pendidikan yang tidak teratur dan hanya belajar dalam wilayah Minangkabau, namun beliau merupakan seorang tokoh ulama yang begitu progresif dan mampu menyamai tokoh-tokoh islah terkemuka yang lain. Sumbangan terbesar beliau yang memberi impak besar kepada umat Islam Minangkabau ialah pembaharuan pendidikan Islam berorientasikan moden. Model institusi pendidikan Islam moden yang diperkenalkan oleh Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah menjadi contoh kepada penubuhan institusi pendidikan Islam yang lain. Justeru, kajian ini meneliti gerakan islah di Minangkabau dan biografi Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah. Selain itu, objektif kajian ini juga menganalisis peranan beliau terhadap pemurnian pemikiran dan pembaharuan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia. Kajian ini merupakan kajian yang berbentuk kualitatif menggunakan analisis kandungan sebagai reka bentuk kajian dengan menggunakan metode kajian sejarah. Hasil kajian mendapati Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah merupakan seorang daripada ulama islah abad ke-20. Walaupun beliau tidak mendapat pendidikan yang sistematik dan hanya belajar di Minangkabau sahaja, beliau mampu muncul sebagai tokoh pembaharu dan islah yang memberi impak besar kepada gerakan islah di Minangkabau terutamanya reformasi pendidikan Islam dan juga islah pemikiran Islam di Minangkabau. Pembaharuan pendidikan Islam yang dilakukan oleh Zainuddin Labay al-Yunusiyyah menjadi asas dan model kepada pembaharuan pendidikan Islam di seluruh Minangkabau dan juga Indonesia. In this paper, we will review the phenomena that are present in this nation: this phenomenon is none other than the existence of a movement that is able to hegemony the community for love for the homeland carried out by former HTI residents, the method used in the research is descriptive qualitative research about what happens in everyday life, either in social media and phenomena that exist in society. As for the form of Reidology with the character education approach, the character education in question combines the concept of Islamic education in Islamic schools and education in state defense whose output gives birth to the nation's children, especially former HTI residents to return to love the Republic of Indonesia. Why is this important to do, so that there are no longer Indonesian citizens who are in crisis of nationalism and play an active role in filling this independence from a development perspective in their own way.

The purpose of this research is to describe implement the Iqro’ method which learning to read the Qur’an at TKA-TPA “AMM” Kotagede Yogyakarta, to explain the systematic, and advantage the Iqro’ method. The research uses the type of qualitative research by describing the data that has been collected as research and field research as a place of research. The results of this research are the implementation of the Iqro’ method which learning to read the Qur’an at TKA-TPA “AMM” Kotagede Yogyakarta based on the main principles of classical and private. Other principles such as, directly introduce the sound of hijaiyah, for kindergarten age are allowed to read, CBSA system and teaching have a purpose. Systematic Iqro’ method which learning to read the Qur'an through stage start from volumes 1-6. Iqro’ method is arranged from concrete to abstract, start from easy to difficult, and start from simple to complex. The Iqro’ method has an advantage, that has been applied throughout Indonesia and some ASEAN countries, flexible, the books are easy to obtain and affordable, use the CBSA system, can finish Iqro’ with a short time, practical, systematic, and varied.Keywords: Iqro’ method, Learning to Read the Qur'an

The object of education is human being. Undersanding student developmental psychology is essential in teaching and learning process. The research entitled “The Implementation of Teaching and Learning for Islamic Education Subject (Fiqh) Based on Cognitive Developmental Psychology Levels In MTsN Malang 1” is intentionally aimed to explore how the teaching and learning on Islamic studies (Fiqh) could be implemented by considering the students developmental psychology.  This is descriptive qualitative research utilizing two perspectives as theoretical bases, Islamic perspective refers to Prophet Muhammad theory, and western perspective refers to Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky theories. The research begins by finding the problems, then breaking theories down to be reasearch instrument and comparing it as applied in model school, MTsN Malang 1. The result, based on both Islamic and western perspective theories, shows supports. Teaching and learning process are considered to implement interactive and cooperative models. Interactive model is implemented by utilizing learning technology such as LCD-projector and computer to show audio-visual contents, quiz creator and edmodo. And cooperative model is implemented not only by learning technology, but also language development applied in mapping and presentation set. Analysis result shows that teaching and learning based on cognitive developmental levels gives more understanding for most students’ proved by students’ interest and excellent score. The novelty is that the research used developmental psychology which specified on cognitive to be applied in Islamic Education subject (Fiqh).
