The aim of community service is to provide training to participants to develop teaching using the motimorfosis method at 83 state junior high school Jakarta.The method used there are several stages including the preparation phase, which includes initial surveys, stabilization and determination of locations and targets. After the survey, the location of the implementation and target of the activity participants are determined. The next stage is the implementation phase of Community Service. This stage will be given understanding, knowledge and develop teaching with the motimorfosis method. This session focuses on providing an explanation of how the teacher can develop the motimorfosis method. And the last is the training stage, with several methods including lectures, questions and answers and simulations. The results of Community Service are that the participants (teachers) understand and understand more and gain knowledge about the latest teaching methods. There are several strategies that can be tried to develop the motimorfosis method, namely: 1) Motivation, 2) delagation, and 3) Appreciation. So the teacher does not create products but creates influence.Keywords: Motimorfosis

Community Service Activities aims to provide assistance by utilizing IT in the realization of Cc5 + values for students of SMP St. Yoseph Lahat. The specific target expected from this activity is the increased ability of junior high school students. Yoseph Lahat in designing and creating interactive IT-based presentation materials to prepare the competition OSTARNAS III. The software used is MS Power Point. Methods of implementation undertaken starting from the determination of partners, justification partner issues, procedures undertaken, work plans, and the expec ted output in the mentoring activities. Outcome of the implementation of this activity is expected: 1)students make presentations about interactive Cc5 + values using IT-based technology, 2) students understand the use of technology in making presentation materials about Cc5 + values as a support for the preparation process of the OSTARNAS III contest, and 3) the students mastered the presentation material on Cc5 + values with the best preparation for the competition OSTARNAS III. The results of the questionnaire stated that the OSTARNAS III advisory activities agreed / benefited by 46.67% and strongly agreed / beneficial to Junior High School students. Yosef Lahat equal to 53.33%

This community service was a training in writing descriptive text for junior high school students in Joboan village, Probolinggo city. The method of this community service covered four stages: a) analyzing, b) planning and developing the content, c) implementing and d) training. In analyzing stage, the writer found problems faced by the students in writing descriptive text. In planning and developing the content stage, the writer developed method to write descriptive text by utilizing picture and guided question. With this pandemic situation, in implementing stage, the writer gathered 10 participants by applying health protocol suggested by the Government. Training stage was done for three days, 20-22 of July 2020. In the first day, the writer gave explanation related descriptive text. In the second day, the participants started to practice writing descriptive text by using picture and guided question. Feedback was given in the third day. The results of this training were shown by the presence of all participants three days in a row, they also gave responds and asked questions enthusiastically in the training process. The participants no longer faced difficulty in writing descriptive text since they knew that picture and guided question can help them write descriptive text better. TRAINING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ONTO-SEMIOTIC APPROACH IN CLASS LEARNING FOR TEACHERS AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AL-BAHJAH TULUNGAGUNG. The purpose of this community service activity is the teachers training by implementing an onto-semiotic approach in classroom learning and produce a lesson plan. This activity done at Junior High School Al-Bahjah Tulungagung. The participants are teachers in Junior High School Al-Bahjah Tulungagung. The method used is theory method and practice. The results obtained throught this training are knowldge of innovative learning with an onto-semiotic approach for teachers and their ability to create and implement the lesson plan with an onto-semiotic approach.

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam mengajar mata pelajaran Bahasa inggris di Kabupaten Tabalong. Diharapkan para guru dapat mengenal dan mengaplikasikan teknik mengajar bahasa Inggris yang lebih efektif, menyenangkan, dan modern. Adapun sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru MGMP SMP mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Tabalong yang berjumlah 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dan mendeskripsikan kegiatan pelatihan tentang teknik mengajar Bahasa Inggris yang modern. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian ini ditemukan sebagian besar guru belum mengetahui teknik terbaru dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris. Jadi, pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan praktik. Materi yang disampaikan disesuaikan dengan program-program yang sesuai dengan silabus pada tiap sekolah. Materi tersebut berkaitan dengan perancangan dan teknik pengajaran yang diikuti oleh praktik pengajarannya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan inovasi dan kreativitas para guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris di sekolah, khususnya di tingkat SMP.                              This activity aims to deliver a short training to improve the creativity of junior high school teachers for teaching English in Tabalong District. It is expected that teachers can recognize and apply teaching techniques that are more effective, fun, and modern. The subjects of this activity are 30 junior high school teachers of English MGMP in the district of Tabalong. The method used in this community service is a qualitative method that aims to provide an overview and describe training on modern English teaching techniques. In this community service activity, it was found that most of the teachers did not know the latest techniques in teaching English. As a result, the training was carried out through the delivery of material, discussion, and practice. The material presented was adjusted to the programs which fit the syllabus in each school. The material was related to design and teaching techniques, followed by the teaching practice. It can be concluded that this short training is one way to improve teachers' innovation and creativity in teaching and to learn English, especially in junior high school level.

Diseases of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) are common diseases in the world. The diseases are essential due to morbidities, which affect the physiological functions in the head and neck region. Cerumen impaction is the most common finding disease of ENT in children. The community service was done to find the distribution of ear, nose, and throat examination results of students in Letjen Jamin Ginting Junior High School, Berastagi, especially cerumen impaction which then were treated with cerumen removal. The community service also aimed to increase student's knowledge about ENT disease. The ENT examination was done to 188 students. The students with cerumen impaction were treated with cerumen removal. The students also educated about ENT disease to improve knowledge about ENT disease. Among 188 students, the number of male students was more than female with 98 students (52.1%), where 76 students (40.4%) were 14 years old. 150 students (79.8%) did not have any complaint about their ear, nose, and throat. Ear fullness was a common chief complaint from the students with 15 students (8.0%). Ear disease was a frequent disease with 44 students (47.3%) and cerumen impaction as the most common findings with 43 students (22.9%). In ENT disease education, the evaluation was done with the highest result was get by 8 students with 80% corrected answers. Ear disease had high prevalence with cerumen impaction as the most common findings of ENT examination.

This study discusses  teachers strategy of Islamic Education in overcoming students  difficulties of  reading Al-Qur'an  a State Junior  High School. The problems that will be addressed  included what strategies were used by the teachers in overcoming students difficulties in  reading Al-Qur'an and who the strategies were implemented to solve the problems. In conducting the study, we used a qualitative case study method. The case of this study was a state junior high school in West Sulawesi province. Data were gathered through direct field observation, in-depth interviews which involve teachers and the school principle. We also analyzed written material, such as the school teaching activities, to understand how the teachres solve students difficulties in reading al-Quran.  Our study found that the strategies to overcome students difficulties in reading al-Quran included  the determination of the qualification of learners. Hold a special coaching for students who experience difficulties in reading Quran. Then the teachers made  cooperation  with fellow teachers and learners. Finally, the teachers familiarized the students to read Al-Qur'an.

<p>The objectives of the research are to determine the effects of teaching methods (STAD and jigsaw) and learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) on students’ English achievement. This research is an experimental study conducted at Junior High School Pasangkayu in 2014 with 213 sample which is selected stratified-randomly (n = 68). The results of the research are as follow: (1) English achievement of students taught with STAD is better than those of taught with jigsaw; (2) there is no significant difference in  English achievement among visual, auditory, and kinesthetic students; (3) there is any significant effect of interaction among teaching method and learning styles on students’ learning English achievement. The research also find out that for visual students, studying English achievement of students taught with STAD is better than that of students taught with jigsaw; for auditory students, learning English achievement  of students taught with jigsaw is better than that of students taught with STAD; and for kinesthetic students, English achievement of students taught with STAD is better than that of students taught with jigsaw. To sum up, STAD is more effective than jigsaw in improving students’ English achievement. STAD is suitable to improve English achievement of visual and kinesthetic students, and jigsaw is suitable to improve English achievement of auditory students.</p>
