The aim of this study was to describe the using of language features on narrative text and the language features appropriateness on narrative text and the problem that made social tenth grader cannot use language features appropriately. The researcher used descriptive qualitative approach as research design. The researcher collected the data by analyzing the student narrative’s language features, conducting interview with random students from five classes, and collecting document that supported this research. The data were collected from a Google form, interview script, and student’s narrative text regarding their writing experiences. The techniques of analyzing data were reduction the data, data analysis, presenting the data, and drawing conclusion.  The result of this study showed that most of the social tenth grader were using language features on their narrative text such as Action verb, Time Sequence, Simple past tense, Descriptive language, and Specific Characters. But, none of their using Dialogue, Direct and Indirect speech on making narrative text. From Google form, the result showed that most of the student answered the question about narrative’s language features with the right respond. Then from interview, the result showed that the reason why the social tenth grader didn’t use language features on their narrative text was due to the ignorance about the features itself.

This study aims to describe the symptoms of over protective foster behsvior towards the social development of children in islamic kindergartens Khaira Ummah Ikur Koto Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive study methods. The researcher uses parents and teachers as informants. How to use the date used by researchers is observasi, interviews, and documentation. Based one the descriptive and data analysis, it can be concluded that the research shows that parents provide parenting patterns that tend to be over protective of their children. This is indicated by the form of protective provided by parents to their children, and does not provide an opportunity for children to be able to do it themselves. The over protective parenting has an impact on children’s social development, namely children are difficult to adapt to the new environment, prefer to play alone, and result in children not being independent.

This study aims to find out the Al-Qur'an's view on the theme of intercession, understand intercession in relation to other than Allah, such as Angels, Rasulallah, Al-Qur'an and know who has the right to obtain intercession and its criteria. The study was designed through descriptive research conducted with a thematic qualitative approach with the maudhu'i method. The subjects in this study are library research, that is, all data sources come from written materials related to the topics discussed. Data analysis in this study uses text analysis. The results of this study indicate that syafa'at is still being discussed by the scholars, but most of the scholars say that the syafa'at exists later on the Day of Judgment. As for the group that believes that there is Shafi'i is the Shiite and Ahlussunah groups, while the Mu'tazilah group believes that there is no Syafa'at in the afterlife, of course with their respective arguments. As for those who can give syafa'at are angels, prophets, pious people and good deeds, of course after getting permission and blessings from God.

This Research aims to determine (1) History, actors and the causes of conflict in terms of the social aspect of economic, cultural and institutional happened in PFMU Model Poigar (2) Recommendations settlement to parse tenurial conflicts PFMU Model Poigar. Data analysis method used is a qualitative approach. The results showed that land claims by communities began of forest utilization activities to meet basic needs. Tenurial conflicts PFMU Model Poigar is a structural conflict. Some of the main actors should receive priority attention is the processing community land in the area and local employers. Some of the basic causes of conflict tenurial PFMU Model Poigar is a lack of understanding about the existence of related parties PFMU Model Poigar, the dualism of authority, lack of community empowerment, and law enforcement is still weak.Based on consideration of the history, the actors involved and the cause of the conflict, then some of the recommendation of this study is the institutional strengthening KPHP Poigar model, the development of that partnership, and law enforcement.

ABSTRACTIn communication, sometimes people get difficulties in interpreting the messages. In communication, sometimes other people have difficulty interpreting the implied message of a word or sentence. The meaning of utterances does not depend on the literal meaning uttered by the speaker, but there is an implicit meaning behind the social speech and action in which the speech occurs. Searle (2014) state Illocutionary act the five basic kinds of illocutionary acts are namely assertive, directive, commissive, expressive and declarative. The objectives of this study are to explain types of illocutionary acts in first debate of Jakarta Governor election 2017. Bogdan and Biklen (1992:29) add that qualitative research is descriptive where data collected are in the form of word and picture rather than number. Research design in this study was conducted by descriptive qualitative research. Data analysis in this research is there are 733 clauses of which illocutionary act in the first debate of Jakarta governor election 2017. the technique for collecting data is documentary technique which download video from Youtube and transcribed the video into the interactive model by using Miles and Huberman (2014) with the three phases of data analysis such as data condensation, data display and conclusion. The findings show all types of illocutionary act were used in the first debate of Jakarta governor election 2017, namely: assertive (54%), directive (15%), commissive (18%), expressive (12%) and declarative (1%). Assertive dominantly is used in Governor and vice governor in the form of stating out of 250 utterances or 34,1%.  Keywords: Illocutionary act, Speech, Governor, Jakarta, Debat

Brahui language has its own uniqueness and value as it is one of the oldest languages of Pakistan and considered as a Dravidian language. The purpose of this study was to explore the perception of future Brahui speaking teachers about mother tongue education in Brahui language at primary level in Balochistan. In this study, a qualitative approach was used. The research design was case study and site of the study was Sardar Bahadur Khan Women’s University Quetta. Semi-structure interviews were conducted from the Brahui speaking future teachers of B.Ed. (Hons.) 7th semester (5), M.A Education 3rd semester (5) and M.Phil. (5). The participants were selected through purposive sampling. Thematic analysis was used as method for data analysis. The data analysis revealed two main themes as need of Brahui mother tongue education in Brahui majority schools and teacher training for Brahui mother tongue education.

In daily communication of among Native speakers of Malay language of Rokan dialect, which is very special because fatis can create and keep mantain the social relationship in communication. The importance of fatis in the communication of Malay dialect clearly seem that the position of fatis in many aspects namely, religion, customs, culture and manners. The theory uses is about Fatis category by Kridalaksana (1994), Malinowski in Sutami (2004. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive research types. The research method is aimed at obtaining a description of the use of disclosure in the communi- cation of the Rokan River Malay Language. Forms of categorization of languages: Malay, Sungai Rokan dialect, District of regency, Regency of  Rokan Hulu, consisting of 25 particles, 20 in the form of words, 15 in the form of form and 6 in the form of a square and a sentence The number of syrups will be added to follow the development and the need for discussion of the Spread community itself. The function of the anti-religious in the language The Malay Sungai Rokan dialect is not only to start, greet, confirm and maintain, in this thesis, researchers  find 10 functions that are commonly used by the community of Sungai Rokan , including; pharynx functions to start, maintain, confirm, terminate, affirm, convince, admonish, praise, and fear / bully. From a group of forms, fatism in the language of living in the Sungai Rokan  is very dominant using the particle, and functions, the dominant use of which is the function and ridicule. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the Malay language of the Rokan River Dialect has 60 forms of phisic categories and the phisic form of the particle is phatic which is often used. In terms of function, the Malay language of the Rokan River Dialect has 10 phatic functions and the dominant one is the affirmative and mocking function.

This study aimed to describe the social capital of the community in developing educational facilities in SD Negeri 005 State Petapahan Jaya, Kampar District. With the reality of a heterogeneous population inhabited by self-employed trans-migrants consisting of Sundanese, Batak, Minang, Malay, and Javanese. Economically the village had developed significantly, especially since the opening of the Palm Oil plantation. This research used a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews and document use. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that there were three elements of community social capital in developing educational facilities in SD Negeri 005 Petapahan Jaya, Kampar Regency: (1) Social Networking, in the form of community participation and solidarity (2) Trust in the form of honesty and cooperation (3) The existence of norms that jointly owned.

This study was aimed at discovering the levels of English-Arabic code-mixing in Islamic boarding school students’ daily conversation. This study departs from code-mixing theory in sociolinguistics. Qualitative approach was utilized as the research design. The data were in the form of word, phrase, and clause taken from utterances obtained by recording the conversations of students. From the data analysis taken from 20 situations, there were 98 utterances of code mixing, which were used by students in their conversation at Islamic boarding school covering intra- and extra-sentential code – mixing. The dominant occurrence is in word level totalling to 65 occurrences (66.4%), followed by clause level 13 occurrences (13.2%), phrase level 10 occurrences (10.2%), and sentence level 10 occurrences (10.2%). Therefore, the code – mixing did exist in students’ conversation. Even though the appearance of the code – mixing in students’ conversation was not really high but this needs to be re-examined the correct use of the code – mixing in orther to avoid the misunderstanding and miscommunication among the students and with teachers.

Kiai is essentially a title given to someone who has knowledge in the field of religion in this case Islam. For that researchers focused research on: 1) How kiai efforts in improving the ability to read the book yellow santri? 2) What are the factors that support and inhibit the improvement of reading ability of yellow book students ?. Type of research in this thesis is using qualitative approach with case study research design. All data obtained from observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis is done by examining all existing data, data reduction, checking data validity, observation persistence and triangulation. From the research that has been conducted, the research results are 1) Efforts in improving the reading ability of yellow book students, 2) Supporting factors and obstacles are The management of boarding school and Madrasah Diniyah boarding schools are very helpful in the learning process.Keywords: Kiai, The ability to read the book of yellow.

This study aims to determine the attitudes of students in physics learning at the State High School in Batanghari Regency. The type of research used is quantitative which uses a research design survey that is strengthened by the results of interviews to support the results of quantitative data. This study involved 926 students of the Batanghari State High School. The data used by researchers in the form of a questionnaire/questionnaire consisting of 54 item statements using a Likert scale 5. Quantitative data analysis using descriptive statistics. The results of this study the researchers get the results of Good and Good Enough with the following details: The Social Implications of Physics have a Good result, amounting to 51.3%. Attitudes in Physics Investigation have a sufficient result of 44.3%, Enjoyment Learning Physics has Enough results of 55.5%, Career Interest in Physics has Enough result of 45%. This is due to the attitude that is sufficient on the indicator. The adequate attitude of students is a balanced attitude in learning Physics Subjects because subjects are difficult to understand.
