The purpose of this study was to identify Vertebrate animals of the Mammal class, order artiodactyla, family Cervidae in the Jurug Surakarta taru Animal Park, develop interactive video media as a result of identification of vetebrata animals into learning media, know the quality of interactive video media based on assessment by material experts, media experts and biology teachers, and applications in learning. The research method uses an observation method by making direct observations of vertebrate species. The instrument for assessing the quality of interactive video media is based on material aspects and presentation aspects, with a qualitative descriptive analysis design. The results of this study indicate that in Taru Jurug Animal Park Surakarta there are 3 species of animals namely Cervus unicolor, Cervus timorensis, Axis-axis and all three have been identified. Research on the identification of vertebrate animals, especially the mammalian class, order artiodactyla, and the cervidae family can be used for the preparation of interactive video media with material on Biodiversity at the level of genes and species. The quality of interactive video media in terms of material aspects, presentation, and language. Assessment of material experts obtained a percentage of 90.9% so that it was categorized as very valid, media experts obtained a percentage of 88.5% so it was categorized as very valid, biology teacher Veteran 1 Sukoharjo High School obtained a percentage of 92.5% so it was categorized as very valid and biology teacher Nguter 1 Public High School obtained a percentage of 97.5% so it is categorized as very valid. Based on this, it can be concluded that this interactive video media is worthy of being used by teachers as one of the learning media about Biodiversity at the level of genes and species.

<p><em>The purpose of this research is to know the condition of family planning movement in terms of age, education, occupation, culture, and service quality of family planning acceptors in Parlondut Village, Pangururan District, Samosir District. The population is a married couples (PUS) who have been married for at least 5 years and already have children, and the sample is 40 people. Data collection techniques use interview lists and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Result: 1) Most of EFA (47,50%) have married age 25-29 years old with number of children more than two people, 2) In general, EFA (55,00%) have high school education with children more than 2 people 3 ) In general (37.50%) EFA mothers work in non-agricultural sectors as fish, tailor, IRT, traders, weavers with more than 2 children, 4) Batak culture has an influence in the EFA mindset about value and the number of children as the successor of the clan (100%) 5) there are 6 Quality of acceptor service of KB which influence to the non-success of family planning movement that is less appropriate method of contraception in the form of injection (35,00%) on self recommendation (67,50%) , less effective service mechanism performance (82,50%) with non-routine socialization / counseling (1-9 times in a year), so that the number of EFAs who have children more than 2 people and unable to follow family planning movement.</em></p>

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap kualitas media pembelajaran interaktif pada pembelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut. (2) Mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran interaktif pada pembelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut pada siswa program keahlian Teknik Pemesinan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Data tentang kualitas produk pengembangan ini dikumpulkan dengan angket dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualiatatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) uji ahli materi pelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (88,92%), (2) uji ahli desain pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (85,21%), (3) uji ahli rekayasa perangkat lunak berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (84,03%), (4) uji coba perorangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (88,75%), (5) uji coba kelompok kecil berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (91,35%) dan (5) uji coba lapangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (88,31%). Hasil pengujian hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif  dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan buku teks. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh  thitung sebesar 4,68 dan ttabel sebesar 1,67 pada taraf kepercayaan 95 persen. Maka diperoleh bahwa thitung> ttabel. Disimpulkan bahwa  hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif dengan efektifitas sebesar 72,77 %. lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran menggunakan buku teks dengan efektifitas sebesar 62,13%. Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran interaktif, teknik pemesinan bubut Abstract: This study aims to: (1) Determine student responses to the quality of interactive learning media on learning Lathe Machining Techniques. (2) Knowing the effectiveness of interactive learning media on learning of Machining Lathe in students of Machining Engineering expertise program. This type of research is development research. Data about the quality of this development product was collected by a questionnaire and analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that; (1) Lathe machining engineering subject matter expert test is in very good qualification (88.92%), (2) learning design expert test is in very good qualification (85.21%), (3) software engineering expert test is in in very good qualifications (84.03%), (4) individual trials were in very good qualifications (88.75%), (5) small group trials were in very good qualifications (91.35%) and (5 ) field trials are in very good qualifications (88.31%). Hypothesis testing results prove that there are differences between student learning outcomes using interactive learning media with student learning outcomes using textbooks. This is indicated by the results of data processing obtained by tcount of 4.68 and ttable of 1.67 at a confidence level of 95 percent. Then it is obtained that tcount> ttable. It was concluded that student learning outcomes using interactive learning media with an effectiveness of 72.77%. higher than student learning outcomes taught by learning to use textbooks with an effectiveness of 62.13%. Keywords: interactive learning media, lathe machining techniques

Abstract: A value and character based curriculum is the core of the curriculum from time to time which is designed to answer the challenges of the times. In this paper, the author wants to examine the application of value-based and character-based curriculum in Christian Religious Education learning to the spiritual intelligence of public high school students in Tana Toraja. This is considered important because in the implementation of a value-based and character-based curriculum it has less impact on the spiritual intelligence of state high school students in Tana Toraja. The method used in this paper is qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. This study concludes that the curriculum developed in Christian religious education learning is still general in nature, which is designed in general in a universal context which is then developed according to a particular context. The curriculum in the context of Christianity in learning values and character in Christian education is only one source, namely from the Bible and applies to everyone in all places, as for the value in character building in relation to this spiritual intelligence, namely the value of love which is the main command of God, readiness to hear. and slow to speak, the value of holiness is not defiling oneself with various temptations and the values of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, namely love, joy, peace, patience, generosity, kindness, loyalty, gentleness and self-control.Keywords: values, character, spiritual intelligence  Abstrak: Kurikulum berbasis nilai dan karakter adalah inti dari dari kurikulum dari masa ke masa yang di desain untuk menjawab tantangan jaman. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis ingin mengkaji pemberlakuan kurikulum berbasis nilai dan karakter dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap Kecerdasan spiritual siswa SMA Negeri di Tana Toraja. Hal ini dianggap penting oleh karena dalam pemberlakuan kurikulum berbasis nilai dan karakter kurang berdampak bagi kecerdasan spiritual siswa SMA Negeri di Tana Toraja. Dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis dekriptif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa, kurikulum yang dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Agama kristen masih bersifat umum, yakni dirancang secara umum dalam konteks universal yang kemudian dikembangkan sesuai konteks tertentu. Kurikulum dalam konteks kekristenan dalam pembelajaran nilai dan karakter pada pendidikan Kristen hanya satu sumber yakni dari Alkitab dan berlaku bagi setiap orang disegala tempat, adapun nilai dalam pembentukan karakter dalam kaitannya dengan kecerdasan spiritual ini yakni nilai kasih yang merupakan perintah utama Tuhan Allah, kesiapan untuk mendengar dan lambat untuk berkata-kata, nilai kekudusan yakni tidak menajiskan diri dengan berbagai godaan jasmani dan nilai-nilai dari buah Roh Kudus Kata Kunci: Nilai, karakter, kecerdasan spiritual

The purpose of this research is produce chemistry teaching material using concept map strategy that valid, practical, and effective to improve understanding of concept and critical thingking ability of student in senior high school. The development of teaching material used to four D Models and was tested to 2 classes in class X of SMAN 1 Muara Bengkal second semester in academic year 2014/2015. Teaching material tested to One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Tested of teaching material used to one group pretest and posttest design. The data collection used observation method, test, and quetionnaires. The data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis of quantitative, qualitative and statistic non parametric. The results of this research are: 1) Teaching material developed has a valid category; 2) The practicality of teaching material in terms of a good category in feasibility of lesson plans and the students activities in accordance with steps of direct instruction using concept map strategy; and 3) The teaching material effectiveness in terms of: (a) Improving understanding of concept and critical thingking ability of student by getting the n-gain score from students and  the result of non parametric analysis (b) The students’ responds toward material and implementation of teaching are very positive. It’s conclusion that the teaching material through concept map strategy are valid, practical, and effective to improve understanding of concept and critical thingking ability of student in senior high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran Kimia yang berbasis strategi belajar peta konsep yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D dan diujicobakan pada 2 kelas di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Muara Bengkal pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Ujicoba perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan rancangan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, tes, dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, kualitatif dan uji statistik nonparametrik. Temuan hasil penelitian, yaitu: 1) Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berkategori valid; 2) Kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari keterlaksanaan RPP berkategori baik dan aktivitas siswa sesuai dengan tahapan-tahapan pada model pembelajaran langsung yang menerapkan strategi belajar peta konsep; dan 3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran ditinjau dari: (a) Peningkatan Hasil belajar pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang  terlihat dari nilai n-gain masing-masing siswa serta hasil analisis data nonparametrik yang telah dilakukan; (b) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sangat positif. Disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran kimia berbasis strategi belajar peta konsep yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA.

This research aims to (1) describe the strawberry farmers ‘knowledge about climate change in the village Pancasari, (2) Describe the farmer adaptation to climate change relating to the cultivation of strawberries in the village Pancasari and (3) to analyze the correlation between farmers’ knowledge about climate change and adaptation to the cultivation of strawberries in Pancasari village. This study was designed as a descriptive study, with the ecological approach. The object of research is the effect of the level of farmers’ knowledge about climate change and adaptation to the cultivation of strawberries, while the subject of the strawberry farmers in the village Pancasari. Then the data is collected using observation method, the method of recording documents and interviews, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis for the formulation of the problem first and second as well as quantitative descriptive formulation of the problem for the third. The results showed (1) Knowledge strawberry farmers about climate change in high categorized Pancasari village with a score of 3.81, (2) Adaptation of farmers to climate change related to the cultivation of strawberries in the village Pancasari categorized either with a score of 4.62 and (3) There is a positive relationship level of farmers’ knowledge about adaptation to climate change to the cultivation of strawberries in the village Pancasari with r = 0.97.

This study aims to determine: (1) the influence of leadership on motivation, (2) the influence of leadership on teacher commitment, (3) the effect of motivation on teacher commitment. Influence The study population was all public high school teachers in Banda Aceh City with a total sample of 252 people taken by proportional random sampling, and the data were analyzed using path analysis after calculating the correlation of all research variables in the form of a matrix. The research findings show that the commitment of public high school teachers in Banda Aceh City is directly influenced by the principal's leadership and teacher work motivation. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded: (1) there is a direct influence of leadership on teacher commitment, (2) there is a direct influence of principal's leadership on teacher commitment, (3) there is a direct influence of work motivation on teacher commitment. Suggestions that can be concluded in this study are: (1) the provincial government of Aceh is authorized to produce policies in accordance with the findings in this study (2) for the head of the Aceh education office to improve the quality of policy professionalism directed at the quality of school principals and teacher commitment (3) for school principals to be able to take into account in forming teacher organizational commitment to their schools (4) for teachers to be able to make reference in carrying out their duties as teachers.

Abstract: This research departs from the awareness that libraries are vital instruments for a tertiary institution. One important element in measuring the quality of a library is the services provided at the library. Furthermore, this study aims to: (1) Obtain an overview of the Ushuluddin Faculty IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang library. (2) Obtaining an overview of the various services carried out at the Faculty of Usuluddin. (3) Obtaining an overview of the library service user profile at the Faculty of Usuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. This research uses a qualitative approach. Remember secondary data is used as the main source used in research carried out. Then as resource persons / informants in this study are: (1) library coordinator of the Faculty of Usuluddin. (2) library staff in the Faculty of Usuluddin. (3) Library library students of the Ushuluddin Faculty IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Data collection techniques are through documentation studies and interviews to supplement information obtained from various informants / informants in the research conducted. The data scaling technique is to use statistical tools, namely by using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study found: (1) There are three main services for users provided by the Ushuluddin Faculty IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang library: (a) circulation services (b) reference services (c) internet services. (2) There is a significant increase in the number of users at the Faculty of Islamic Studies Imam Bonjol Padang IAIN between 2015 and 2016. (3) Those who use library services of the Faculty of Islamic Studies Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang are generally male in 2015. While female visitors dominates the users of the Faculty of Usuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang in 2016 .. (4) Users who use the library of the Usshuluddin IAIN Faculty of Padang generally come from the Department of Islamic Psychology.Keywords: Library and Library Service,Abstrak : Penelitian ini berangkat dari kesadaran bahwa perpustakaan merupakan instrumen vital bagi sebuah perguruan tinggi. Salah satu unsur penting dalam mengukur kualitas perpustakaan adalah layanan yang diberikan pada perpustakaan tersebut. Lebih jauh penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Memperoleh gambaran tentang perpustakaan Fakultas Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. (2) Memperoleh gambaran tentang berbagai layanan yang dijalankan pada Fakultas Ushuluddin. (3) Memperoleh gambaran profil pengguna layanan perpustakaan di Fakultas Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Mengingat data-data skunder digunakan sebagai sumber utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian yang dijalankan. Kemudian sebagai nara sumber / informan  dalam penelitian ini adalah : (1) koordinator pertpustakaan Fakultas Ushuluddin. (2) staf perpustakaan di Fakultas Ushuluddin. (3) Mahasiswa pemustaka perpustakaan Fakultas Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah melalui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara untuk melengkapi informasi yang diperoleh dari berbagai narasumber / informan dalam penelitian yang dijalankan. Teknik pengalisaan data adalah dengan menggunakan alat bantu statistik, yakni dengan menggunakan analisa deksriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini mendapati : (1) Terdapat tiga layanan utama bagi pemustaka yang diberikan oleh perpustakaan Fakultas Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang : (a) layanan sirkulasi (b)  layanan referensi (c)  layanan internet. (2) Adanya peningkatan jumlah yang signifikan dari pemustaka di Fakultas Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang antara tahun 2015 sampai dengan 2016. (3) Pemustaka yang menggunakan layanan perpustakaan Fakulas Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol padang umumnya adalah laki-laki pada tahun 2015. Sedangkan pemustaka perempuan mendominasi pengguna perpustakaan Fakultas Ushuluddin IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang  tahun 2016.. Advances in technology cause a lot of damage to the environment and cultural shifts in society. This condition requires learning to integrate technology with the environment and society. Society-based industrial era 4.0 towards 5.0 studying and technology must pay attention to the preservation of nature and culture in society. The approach that fits this mandate is SETS (science, environment, technology, and society). The SETS approach can be applied in various media, methods and learning models. One of them is a science comic for junior high school that has included the SETS component in its material. This research is a qualitative descriptive study about the relationship between SETS components in junior high school science comics. The instruments in this study were data cards and operational definitions. The data in this study are in the form of words, language, pictures, and behavior that show the representation of the SETS components. The analysis results show that all SETS components have been represented in the science comics. SETS which is integrated into the learning process is expected to improve the quality of students in facing an increasingly advanced industrial era but still environmentally friendly.

AbstractThis research stems from a condition which was observed in Indonesian high school. In general  the schools do not implement the principles of multiple intelligences comprehensively. Conversely, it is still impressed that the  learning is still dominated by one intelligence based education,  that is IQ which is  cause and effect oriented eductional program. In line with that the learning is filled in the domain of cognition which is commonly oriented at the most basic level of mental development, in which the level of memorization activity is fulfilled the learning process. So that the complex intelligences of the learners’ do not develop optimally. This conditions produce that the  Indonesian educational products are not optimal. So to improve the quality of education, it is necessary to develop the implementation of learning system which based on the impact of the findings of neuroscience into education, including the development of multiple intelligences (multiple intelligences) in high school level. This research is a qualitative research seeing from philosophical approach and perspective. Along with that, the method used is descriptive, analysis and interpretive. Through philosophical approaches researcher tries to describe the essence of the eight intelligences and their applications in the learning process. With the method of description and interpretation, it is expected to be able to find an interpretation of the concept of multiple intelligences in accordance with socio-religious background of students’. Then by using the analysis method, the application of  these findings can be adjusted to the needs and potentials which is available at high school levelled education.

Abstract. This article aims to determine the achievement of the standard education process at Cisaat 1 Public Middle School. This research is a descriptive qualitative research by collecting data in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the attainment of process standards at Cisaat 1 Public High School is 96.2% when compared to all the maximum scores that should be achieved in the standard process forms. This study recommends exploring the indicators that have not been optimally achieved, especially indicators of a maximum of 32 people. Although it feels good, empowerment, utilization and maintenance of the learning process in schools must be improved. This is intended to improve the quality of education and satisfaction of community expectations.Abstrak. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketercapaian standar proses pendidikan di SMPN 1 Cisaat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitaian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pencapaian standar proses di SMPN 1 Cisaat sebesar 96,2% jika dibanding dengan seluruh skor maksimum yang seharusnya dicapai pada borang standar proses. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan untuk mendalami indikator-indikator yang belum tercapai dengan optimal khususnya indikator  rombongan belajar maksimum 32 orang. Meski dirasa telah baik, namun pemberdayaan, pemanfaatan dan pemeliharaan proses pembelajaran disekolah harus ditingkatkan. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan pemuasan harapan masyarakat.
