In this article, the author raises the issue of the current state of education of persons detained in correctional institutions, since it is one of the main ways to correct and re-socialize convicts. The author analyzes the national legislation governing the education of convicts. The author also analyzes the normative-legal acts of foreign countries that regulate this issue. It is highlighted the positive aspects which the legislation of our country can adopt for the improvement of problematic moments in the national legislation. The attention is also paid to international and European normative-legal documents in the field of education of convicts and a comparative analysis of compliance with national legislation. The author of the article also singles out the current situation caused by the pandemic COVID-19 virus. It is proposed to further develop distance education in correctional institutions, as it can have positive results in improving the quality of teaching for this category of people, as well as be able to increase the level of security for teachers who work with convicts. The author notes that it is necessary to amend national legislation, namely in departmental and special normative-legal acts and provide convicts with additional paid vocation for the examinations duration of convicts, which will be an additional incentive for persons detained in correctional institutions in order to voluntarily receive education. In this article, the author concludes that the more convicts receive quality education, the lower the rate of recidivism, since it is easier for them to find job and honestly earn a living. The active use of interactive methods, including the widespread use of trends in improving the quality of teaching mathematics and physics in educational institutions of many foreign countries, which are recognized for the high quality of teaching, contributes to the development of students skills in solving and choosing problems in physics in the course of mathematics, the formation of their skills of creative thinking and professional orientation on the basis of interdisciplinary connections. Therefore, the article describes a methodology for choosing, constructing and solving various types of interdisciplinary algebra problems.

This study examines the influence of the quality of education and skills of prospective Indonesia Labor from West Sumatra on income. Wage income is expected equivalent to the level of wage labor which comes from other countries. Therefore, in order to obtain equal wage, prospective Indonesian labors sent abroad should be a good level of education, skill trained so that labor productivity increased. The method used in this study is Test Crosstab, and, Chi Square test to see the effect between the two variables used. It is shown that Indonesian labors do not able to compete in terms of quality of education and skills, compared to foreign labors, so that the income received by the Indonesian labor is lower. In addition, professional job that has been chosen by the Indonesian labor is the operator, profession which does not necessarily require a high level of educational and skills qualifications.

The article considers the problems that arose in the situation when the world’s system of education has been forced to transfer into distance learning mode because of the pandemic. For the first time mankind had got an experience when it became necessary to abandon traditional training. In such situation, it was possible to continue providing education both in schools and in the universities due to the advantages that “digitalization” of education carries, though a number of shortcomings that both teachers and students faced were also revealed. Empirical experiment allowed to find out that distance education has significant shortcomings which affect both quality of knowledge and physical and mental health of people as well as socio-cultural adaptation and socialization of foreign students. Abandonment of traditional education in favor of distant one carries significant losses in the quality of education and, as a result, decreases the ability to create a harmonious and comprehensively developed personality. Authors of the article come to the conclusion that distance education should be used as an additional form of education in comparison to basic one (traditional), that is, it can provide positive results only in the complex (traditional plus distance).

The object of research is the quality of teaching technical and mathematical disciplines in modern distance education. One of the most problematic areas is communication, dialogue between a teacher and a student, personality problems in the teacher-student dyad, and the effectiveness of feedback. The idea of distance learning, obviously, is that the interaction between teacher and student takes place in a virtual space. The more efficiently this interaction is built by using a variety of techniques, methods, the better a teaching process. Distance teaching is essentially a person-centered form of education. This is a separate modern educational technology that provides a choice for the teacher, the ability to select educational material depending on the information needs of students. In the course of the study, the main possibilities for improving the effectiveness of feedback between the student and the teacher and the forms of implementing such communication were considered. The organizational and pedagogical conditions for the use of the system of certain elements of distance learning in the process of vocational training have been substantiated. Modern information technologies and innovative teaching methods in training specialists are described. It is proposed to use more actively such elements as an interactive whiteboard, interactive processing of students’ statements during a survey, both in the form of tests or a forum, and in the form of a «word cloud». The use of these interactive elements has proven itself in practice. As a tool for objective assessment of the level of feedback, a comparative analysis of statistical data is proposed, which concerns the distribution of marks at the beginning and at the end of the distance learning course. This data can also be interpreted as an indicator of the quality of teaching. In particular, the analysis of school preparation of students for mastering mathematical disciplines in higher education was carried out. Comparative analysis substantiated, in particular, the need for additional classes for students with poor preparation.

Distance Education in Brazil is a reality present in several dimensions of youth and adult education, so this article, as a general objective, seeks to prove or not, whether distance education has the necessary support to offer quality education to the students. A bibliographic research was used, which indicated that Remotely University Education, despite still facing technological obstacles and need to improve it’s development, has been reaching expressive levels of growth and showing itself as an important public policy instrument. In comparison to classroom teaching, distance education has been increasing it’s scope, improving the quality of the content and didatics, and effectively opening doors to the job market, which also contributes to the growth of education in the country

The quality of the programmes and courses in ODL depends on the academics that plan the programmes, develop the curriculum, manage courses and programmes and carry out administrative duties. It is observed that the academics often complain of work overload. It also appears there is a mix-up in integrating the mode of planning workload in the conventional universities into the open and distance education universities. This may be attributed to inadequate spread in the duties assigned, which if not checked could affect the quality of teaching and learning. This necessitated the study that was carried out to determine academic workload in NOUN. The findings revealed a gap between academic activities and adequate utilisation of time. Also, inadequate spread of activities affects the quality of the academic inputs. This led to the development of academic workload model to guide the spread of academic activities in open and distance learning.

The article highlights the current state and problems of vocational health professional education of physicians and nurses in the specialty «cosmetology». Legal documents: orders, instructions, regulations on the activities of medical practitioners and nurses in the specialty «cosmetology» are described. The authors noted that availability of qualified staff, regularly and systematically improving their professional skills, not only the student´s individual technologies, largely determines the quality and safety of services provided on cosmetology. The authors believe that cosmetologist must have higher professional education in one of the specialties: «General medicine», «Pediatrics», he should complete his residency training on the specialty «Cosmetology» or to complete a professional retraining on specialization «Cosmetology» in the presence of higher education on the specialty «Dermatovenereology». During labour activity a doctor is obliged to obtain additional professional education at least once in five years, what determines the quality of his activities.The authors note, there are the need for greater involvement in the training of private health organizations, which have modern material and technical base and highly qualified personnel.

Актуальность темы научной статьи обусловлена тем, что осужденные иностранные граждане и лица, не имеющие доказательств своей принадлежности к гражданству (подданству) какого-либо государства, отбывающие наказания на территории Российской Федерации, наравне с осужденными российскими гражданами обязаны трудиться. В статье рассматривается вопрос привлечения указанной выше категории лиц к трудовой деятельности в РФ, а также анализируется опыт зарубежных стран в рамках указанной темы. Авторы проводят анализ норм уголовно-исполнительного и трудового законодательства РФ, регулирующих привлечение к труду иностранных осужденных и апатридов осужденных в исправительных учреждениях уголовно-исполнительной системы Российской Федерации (УИС), приводят статистические данные о количестве иностранных осужденных, отбывающих наказание в пенитенциарных учреждениях УИС. Авторами систематизирован порядок подачи и оформления документов, а также рассматривается взаимодействие между сотрудниками различных подразделений УИС в процессе привлечения к труду указанных категорий осужденных. Кроме того, в статье обозначена проблема, возникающая при привлечении к труду иностранных осужденных, а также лиц без гражданства, и сформулированы рекомендации, направленные на совершенствование законодательства Российской Федерации в исследуемой области. The relevance of the topic of the scientific article is due to the fact that convicted foreign citizens and persons who do not have proof of their belonging to the citizenship (citizenship) of any state, serving sentences on the territory of the Russian Federation, are required to work on an equal basis with Russian convicts. The article deals with the issue of attracting the above-mentioned category of persons to work in the Russian Federation, as well as analyzes the experience of foreign countries in the framework of the topic under consideration. In addition, the authors analyze the norms of national legislation, namely, penal and labor law, regulating the employment of foreign convicts and stateless convicts in correctional institutions of the penal system of the Russian Federation. The authors of the article also provide statistical data on the number of foreign convicts serving their sentences in penitentiary institutions of the penitentiary system of the Russian Federation. The authors systematize the procedure for filing and processing documents, and also consider the interaction between employees of various departments of the criminal executive system of the Russian Federation in the process of attracting these categories of convicts to work. In addition, the article identifies the problem that arises when attracting foreign convicts, as well as stateless persons, to work, and makes recommendations aimed at improving the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field under study.
