The article considers the peculiarities of the formation of the gastronomic brand of the territory. It was found that a large number of scientific works on gastronomic branding does not reveal the essence of the stages of formation of such a brand. Despite some successful practices in the use of gastronomic products to promote tourism services, the general recommendations for the use of the gastronomic brand as a tool for managing the development of a tourist destination in the functioning of the tourism industry at the regional level remain undisclosed. Based on the review of previous publications, the purpose of this study is to determine the stages of formation and features of the gastronomic brand to increase the attractiveness and efficiency of tourist destination management. As a result of the study on the role of the gastronomic brand in the process of managing a tourist destination, it was determined: the process of creating a brand should take place in stages, and involves determining the type of territory, identifying the relationship between the number of tourists and their gastronomic needs. historical traditions of ethnic cuisine and the creation of conditions for a harmonious combination of gastronomic brand with the brand of a tourist destination; there is a directly proportional connection between the gastronomic brand of the territory and the brand of the tourist destination: the presence of the former contributes to the sustainable development of the latter; The positive impact of the gastronomic brand on the development of the tourist destination becomes possible due to the harmonization of common value-oriented components implemented in the destination branding as well as during gastronomic branding. Ukraine is just beginning its journey to recognize its gastronomic products, traditions and related historical and cultural heritage. Adherence to the presented recommendations on the creation and gastronomic brands of certain areas will promote their development as tourist destinations, improve the socio-economic situation of the region, and allow to restore the full functioning of the tourism industry after the pandemic crisis.

Abstract The Development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) has recently been changing almost every aspect of society and economy. Within the new technologies, Internet with has impacted the interactivity between people and the variety of products and brands. When the discussion is not simply about a common product/service, but about a tourist destination, the concepts of marketing and ICTs are even more intertwined. An important aspect of tourist destination marketing is its branding. Destination Branding concept is very important because it make possible for a destination to differentiate from competitors through an unique name and identification in the perception that the target market will have. The aim of this paper is to investigate the impact that Internet has in destination branding, especially for relatively new destinations. The role of Internet is present through a variety of tools, such as web-sites, e-mail, social networks, blogging etc. We will bring the Albanian Case as a new destination to illustrate how the use of Internet and its related tools has helped in constructing a good brand image. Nowadays people find themselves firstly searching for information online about the destinations they want to visit, through Internet and the various platforms, so they are becoming very important as means for branding a destination. Many Internet elements can make a difference in branding if included as needed in the e-marketing strategy of companies that are making the important work about destination branding. The most important elements that have a positive impact in Albania, are content and keywords of Websites and a good level of sharing with social media. While there is much more to do with forms such as blogging, very important tools in SEO and the use of the right elements to raise brand awareness and differentiation.

In recent years, the role of health tourism has become more significant in Hungary due to growing health awareness, good domestic conditions and the increasingly completed health services. Beside the conditions Hungary has long traditions and internationally accepted references in this area, nowadays wellness tourism is becoming increasingly popularHungary is one of the biggest source of thermal waters, thus health tourism can be a vital part of the domestic tourism industry. The developments of health tourism services are also important for tourist destination. In this paper an overall assessment was done about the services belong to health tourism. Applying a questionnaire survey the evaluation of a Hungarian practice was accomplished, and about 100 wellness hotel were involved, from all parts of Hungary. The results indicate that quality management systems are applied in high rate, but requirements are not determined or applied precisely. Also important establishment is that wellness hotels take the necessary steps to shape up the inner and outer environment perfectly, but feedbacks and direct surveys of guests are missing in many cases. The competition is strong in the market of health tourism, if Hungary means to strengthen his position has pay more attention for implementation of quality practice.

Tourism is among the industries that record globally, the most rapid rate of development. Being a highly dynamic sector, modern tourism forms the third largest volume in international trade operations, after the oil and automobile industries. It is distinguished by its vulnerability to external economic, political and nature factors, but also by its great flexibility in relation to the ongoing transformation processes. In this dynamic and changing environment, the tourism industry and tourist destinations are exposed to the global competition pressure. Regarding to that, this paper explores the role of possible approaches to the destination management for improving the whole process of competitiveness increase, with accent on the cluster concept. The results show that in the frame of common approach in the management of tourist destination, when developing a model for approving its success and competitiveness, a modification on clusters' approach is purposeful to adapt.

Tourist destination (TD) is considered the most important unit of analysis in tourism industry and the amalgam of tourism products, which offers an integrated travel experience for the customer. In this paper is analyzed the role of Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs), the key player in the tourism stakeholders systems which manage collaborative marketing strategies. Particularly, are recognized the destination branding strategies defined by DMOs, one of the most important organizational solution to manage internal and external relationships in tourism stakeholders systems. The theoretical assumptions of the paper are supported by an empirical research which analyzes, comparatively, the Italian DMOs of eight regional contexts. The goals of the empirical survey have been the following: a. to identify the main tourism players of regional stakeholders systems, deepening the nature and the intensity of marketing relationships in these networks; b. to define the main characteristics of the regional DMOs in Italy, in terms of business models and collective marketing strategies planned in the own networks; c. to categorize the destination branding strategies defined by DMOs in regional tourism stakeholders systems, valuating the main brand decisions carried out in these contexts.

This article discusses the role of women in supporting sustainable tourism development in Bali by promoting Balinese cuisine to the tourism world. To date, studies on the role of Balinese women in the tourism industry have looked mainly at women as ordinary workers or professionals. In fact, Balinese women operate as culinary entrepreneurs who have not only been successful in introducing Balinese cuisine to the world of tourism but have opened up job opportunities for men and women alike. The data presented in this article was collected through observation of four leading Balinese women who run successful local culinary outlets or restaurants offering local dishes, and is complemented by interviews and other published sources relating to their business activities. The four pioneering women surveyed are Men Tempeh of Gilimanuk (West Bali) serving chicken betutu, the suckling pig restaurant manager Ibu Oka in Ubud, the owner of Made’s Warung Ni Made Masih, and the catering company owner Ibu Warti Buleleng, based in Denpasar. This article concludes that these four Balinese culinary heroines or srikandi have successfully managed to preserve and promote Balinese dishes to the world of tourism while contributing to the sustainable development of Balinese tourism by providing opportunities for tourists to experience local cuisine.

This article explores how a remote Aboriginal-owned and -run art centre, Ikuntji Artists in Haasts Bluff, has developed grassroots-level cultural tourism. While not many remote Indigenous art centres engage with the tourism industry, Aboriginal tourism engagement has only recently been identified by the Northern Territory Government as a major business development area. Steered by the member artists and the board, the art centre has been able to create a range of workshops and activities that can be offered to small-scale tour operators. Over the past five years, an arts festival and various workshops for university field students and other small tour operators have been hosted. Member artists, staff and the board as well as the community see cultural tourism as an opportunity to share their culture by way of teaching visitors about the Luritja language, culture and country. Thus, this article argues that art centres can engage meaningfully in cultural tourism and support remote Indigenous communities in the sustainable development of cultural tourism.

Indonesia is an archipelago country with a sea larger than the mainland, so it is undeniable that in Indonesia there are many fisherman settlements. Often fishermen settlements in Indonesia are marginalized in the development of maritime and service industries and even become victims of the activities of the utilization of coastal areas by the private sector engaged in tourism, industry, and services. The fisherman settlement community is not getting a positive impact from the development, therefore this study aims so that the fisherman settlement community can get a positive impact from the development of the surrounding area. This research takes a case study in the fisherman settlements of Kingking and Karangsari in Tuban Regency, East Java. The approach used in this research is the urban assemblage approach to reveal socio-cultural knits as a cultural force that shapes the sustainability of the place. The urban assemblage approach will be supported by search methods which will then be analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The search was carried out through literature review and field surveys. This research presents the results in the form of a mapping of knits between culture, social, the economy as the cultural strength of the Kingking and Karangsari fisherman settlements with the surrounding tourist areas. The results of this study can be considered by the government and local communities in planning the development of coastal areas or fisherman settlements into tourist destinations.

English language is essential in the development of tourism. The English language for many years is used as an instructional language in the tourism industry. This paper aims at finding phrases that are needed at the local tourist sites and also to find out local people perspective related to the role of the English language in the tourism industry. This research is qualitative one and in collecting data the researcher applied direct observations and interviews. The results show that many English for tourism phrases in research sites are needed to know by the traders, hotel staff, officers, drivers and all people who live around the tourist sites in Palopo. The result of the study is expected to encourage people around the tourist sites and practitioners to pay attention to the issue of the English language in tourism. Improving collaboration between educational institutions and tourism organizations is needed in the sustainable development of the local tourism industry in Palopo.

Urban tourist destinations or City Break destinations are representing one of main destination products on tourist market. City Break destinations are big cities, administrative, economic and political centers of states and regions. These cities are 'open' 24 hours per day, seven days in week. Inside these tourist destination we can find different range of products (culture, entertainment, recreation, leisure, history, modern infrastructure). In these destinations season is not present and it lasts trough out the year. Promotional campaigns in City Break destinations are truing to create distinguished images in tourists mind as also as on investors, consumers and future residents. They emphasize advantages that those cities are delivering to their consumers, but often we forget that all these cities are having specific geographic landscapes. In the era of limiting of mass tourism to preserve resources for future generations and emphasizing the importance of sustainable development for tourism perspectives, the importance of specific geographic landscapes inside urban destinations for their further development as tourist destinations an their overall development is slightly neglected.

Natural resources in the Carpathian region, favorable natural and geographicalconditions give preference to the development of recreational industry over other types ofindustrial activity that provides: employment of people in recreational region, development ofUkraine and the recognition of its economy internationally, positive impact on the formation ofindividual. This necessitates a systematic study of a wide range of organizational problems,recreational planning and creation of new management models for tourist activities.Modern development of the tourism industry is associated with such socio-economic factors: thegrowth of social welfare and the effective demand for tourist services; increasing demand forvacation and recreation; urbanization and globalization; communicational and humanitarianfactors; transformation of traditions, cultures and social consciousness; changes in the structure ofspiritual values; increased leisure time etc .
