In recent years, the continuous growth of economic strength has promoted people’s pursuit of culture, and the demand for cultural and creative products has increased year by year. Cultural and creative products are different from ordinary products. Ordinary products pursue functions, beauty and economic benefits, while cultural and creative products endow the concept of product culture. Cultural and creative products can represent culture, ideals, beliefs, etc. At present, China has entered a new era. China has made major achievements in various fields. These achievements are areas that are difficult for ordinary people to get involved. However, these achievements are really closely related to people’s lives. How to let people understand these deep-seated areas and how to link ordinary people with high-tech achievements are the issues that this article focuses on. This article first sorts out the propaganda paths of various scientific and technological achievements nowadays, then analyzes their existing problems, proposes a design strategy for cultural and creative products based on scientific and technological achievements, and finally completes the design of cultural and creative products: These scientific and technological achievements can be designed into simple and easy-to-understand patterns, and then applied to the design of cultural and creative products such as T-shirts, which will provide impetus to telling Chinese stories, enhancing cultural strength and national self-confidence.

As the social phenomenon that takes into account cultural venues and facilities and cultural participation and attractiveness, the cultural strength of a city is a significant dimension of each city relevant for its inhabitants, as well as its visitors. The results of a research study on the nature of the relationship between cultural strength, on the one hand, and reputation and tourism intensity, on the other, are presented in this paper on a sample of the 20 European cities with the best reputation index according to the report entitled “The World’s Most Reputable Cities” (2018 City RepTrak®). The primary goal of the study is to determine the relationship between the cultural strength and reputation of these cities. The secondary goals are focused on determining the relationship between cultural venues and facilities as a segment of cultural strength and tourism intensity. The methodology used in the study comprises: the definition and analysis of the city reputation concept, as well as the determination of the differences in comparison with the reputation of an urban tourism destination, the identification of the constituents of the cultural strength of the cities and their role in tourist attractions, and finally, the investigation of the nature of the relationship between cultural strength, on the one hand, and tourism intensity, on the other. One of the conclusions of the paper is that cultural venues and facilities are not connected with the reputation of cities, whereas the correlation regarding cultural participation and attractiveness is confirmed. The results of the study also show the most important “cultural venues and facilities” indicator in relation to tourism intensity. In terms of this and based on the obtained research results of the study, the role that cultural strength plays in positioning cities in stakeholders’ perception through the strategic process of the creation and management of cities’ reputation, as well as the tourism attractiveness of cities and a consequent increase in the number of tourists as important stakeholders and ensuring their satisfaction, are presented in the paper.

This paper analyses the effects of organizational culture on the transfer of knowledge in organizations. While prior literature has considered relations between individual classifications of organizational culture and the whole process of knowledge development, we focused our analysis on the dimension of cultural strength and its effects on the selected phase of knowledge transfer in organizations. Our study suggested that organizations need to analyse how weak and strong organizational culture affects knowledge in organizations. The study drew upon the behavioural, organizational, and knowledge management theories and analysed answers from 138 respondents in Slovenian organizations. Analysing knowledge data demonstrates that older respondents and employees in managerial positions are more prone to knowledge transfer. The analysis shows that the strength of organizational culture is positively and statistically significantly associated with knowledge transfer in organizations. The main practical implication of this study is our finding, which suggests that organizations need to further improve the transfer of knowledge through increasing the strength of organizational culture.

Indonesia is an archipelago country with a sea larger than the mainland, so it is undeniable that in Indonesia there are many fisherman settlements. Often fishermen settlements in Indonesia are marginalized in the development of maritime and service industries and even become victims of the activities of the utilization of coastal areas by the private sector engaged in tourism, industry, and services. The fisherman settlement community is not getting a positive impact from the development, therefore this study aims so that the fisherman settlement community can get a positive impact from the development of the surrounding area. This research takes a case study in the fisherman settlements of Kingking and Karangsari in Tuban Regency, East Java.
