The aims of this research are to determine the effect of principls’ managerial skills on the quality of education, to know the effect of teacher performance on education quality, and to know the influence of principals’ managerial skills and teacher performance on the quality of education. This research is quantitative with ex-post facto by descriptive-quantitatif characteristic. The population are 67 people with saturated sampling technique. Data processing begins with a validity test and reliability test of the research instrument is obtained using SPSS. The analisys of prerequisite test included normality, homogeneity test and linierity test. The final analysis (hypothesis testing) using statistical multiple regression analysis Y=α + βX1 + βX2 as a predictor in determining the magnitude of fungsional relationship between variables X1 and X2 with variable Y. Hyphothesis test using SPSS program assistance. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the influence of principals’ managerial skills and teacher performance on education quality is 36.2%. It means that 36.2% of principals’ managerial skill (X1) and teacher’s performance (X2) influence the education quality variable (Y) through a linier relationship Y=29.480+0.058+0.475. therefore there is influence of principals’ managerial skills and teacher’s performance on the quality of education at MTs Negeri Palopo.

The aims of this research are to know what is the strategy of the headmaster in fostering religious culture at SMP Negeri 13 Palopo, to know the effort of the headmaster in fostering religious culture at SMP Negeri 13 Palopo, and to know the supporting factors and hindering factors of headmaster in fostering religious culture at SMP Negeri 13 Palopo. This research is qualitative research which used pedagogic, management, and psychology approaches. The instruments used are interview guide, observation, and documentation. The data analyzed by reduction, data display and conclusion. The result of the research shows that the strategy of the headmaster in fostering religious culture at SMP Negeri 13 Palopo are planning, organizing, implementation, supervision and evaluation toward the program. The headmaster efforts in fostering the religious culture at SMP Negeri 13 Palopo such as take dhuhur and dhuha prayers together, reading al-Qur’an literacy program,  pray together before the learning process, celebrating Islamic days, implementaing 3S (sipakalebbi, sipakainge, sipakatau), and practicing asmaul huzna zikir. The supporting factor in fostering religious culture at SMP Negeri 13 Palopo are the high trust of the students’ parents to the headmaster, the good cooperation between the headmaster and the teachers in supporing the programs at school. The hidering factor is the lack of facilities and infrastructure.

One of the keys of education success  is the teacher. The teacher plays an important role in the learning process to improve the quality of students. Therefore the professionalism of a teacher is very important to note. Professional teachers are those who are able to carry out their duties as educators to the maximum by having the ability and expertise as an educator. This research is library research. The theory is obtained from the library data then investigated it to find out the conception objective result. The result of this research is to realize the goals of education, appropriate development strategies are needed in order to improve teacher professionalism. There are some step that have to done in holding education and training they are need analysis, goal setting, building  program content and program evaluation. Education and training is a development strategy that aims to improve teacher competence in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes.

This research focuses on the relationship of the interior design and book collection availability towards the student's visiting interest to the Library of IAIN Palopo. This research aims at analyzing the relationship of the interior design and book collection availability towards the student's visiting interest to the library of IAIN Palopo. This research used a quantitative design with managerial and psychologies approaches. Collecting data techniques used were observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The instruments of this research were the observation sheet, questionnaire, and documentation guide. The result of the research shows that the interior design and book collection availability have a simultaneous relationship with the students‟ visiting interest to the library of IAIN Palopo 0,474 with significance value 0,000. The contribution simultaneously of those factors namely 22,5%, then 77,5% was determined by other variables. The implication of the research is expected that higher education and library can improve the interior design and book collection availability to increase the students‟ visiting interest to the Library.

This research aims to determine the competitive extracurricular activities, to understand the visionary leadership of the school principal who comes in leading the implementation of the extracurricular activities and to find out the visionary leadership model of school principals in developing the extracurricular learning in SMAN 1 Palopo. This research was a qualitative study. It used managerial, psychological, sociological perspective, religious approaches. The instrument used namely observation data collection, interview, and documentation. The data analysis of the research was using data reduction, presentation of data, triangulation, as well as the withdrawal of conclusion. The results of the study conclude that: 1) The extracurricular activities in a SMAN 1 Palopo consists of the scouts, extracurricular activities basketball, and marching extracurricular activities 2) The visionary leadership of the school principal who comes in leading the implementation of the extracurricular activities in sen SMAN 1 Palopo can be seen from the perspective of a clear vision and mission planning, having high innovation, high exemplary and discipline, and the school principal becomes the agent of change. 3) Visionary leadership model of school principals in developing the competitive extracurricular learning in senior high school 1 Palopo consisting of The formulation of vision, the transformation of vision, the implementation of the vision, as well as completing the facilities and infrastructure.

The aims of this reseach to describe the leadership style of the head school at SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta to determine the performance of teachers in at SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta, to know the internal factors that contribute to developing the performance of educators in SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta, and to understand external factors that contribute in developing the performance of educators at SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta. This research is qualitative research that uses a religious approach, pedagogic approach, and managerial approach. Data collected by observation, interview and documentation. Data analyzed using by data reduction, data display, triangulation and conclusion. The result shows that leadership style of the principal of SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta applies decocratic style but apply authoritarian leadership when it is needed. Performance of teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta are accordance with the expectation of the principal where planningof learning, implementation of learning and the implementation of assessment have been going well likewise with the result of teachers’ performance includes the assessment of UTS and the UAS values are well. Internal factors consist strength and weakness include facilities and infrastructure teachers, and leadership of principal. External factor consist of opportunities and challenges can be seen from government policies, information and communication technology, and cooperation between the school parties.

The existence of public relations management is very important in an educational institution, especially in communication with the community to form a good opinion. Education is the biggest source of investment in developing and making people whole (insanul kamil). Understanding someone's opinion, in this case public opinion is not easy. Because it is the formation of public opinion formed by the selective public, because in all problems there is always every public. Public Relations plays a very important role in every institution or institution, because public relations is one of the strategic ways in creating a positive or negative image in an institution. In this case public relations has a broad relationship, and the role of public relations in the development of education has a very urgent position, especially in determining the direction of education in accordance with the wishes of all parties, especially customer demands. The development of public opinion with a variety of characters increasingly diverse, both internal and external requires special solutions in communicating with them. Organizational communication activities are strategic communication activities that need to be carried out by the organization. Because this is related to the image of the educational institution itself.

Leadership is a subject that is always interesting to continue to study because it has an important role in the organization. Likewise with spiritual leadership as a model of leadership. The purpose of this study is to explain the concept of spiritual leadership as a model of leadership. This type of research is a literature study (Library Research). Spiritual leadership is leadership inspired by belief in God. The leader does not see his position as the highest position so that he requires excelent service from his subordinates, but sees him as a mandate (khalifah) to serve, process, and manage his subordinates so that they can collectively achieve success. Spiritual leadership has the character of true honesty, fairness, focus on righteous deeds, hate formality and organized religion, work more efficiently with less talk and more relaxed, openness to accept change, leaders who are loved and certainly love those they lead and have humility.

This study aims to determine aspects of context, input, process and product Islamic Instructional Design in SMAN 4 Palopo. This study is a qualitative research. The approach  was management. Analysis of the data used were descriptive analysis by performing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that: (1) According to context, form of Islamic instructional design used was a curriculum-based learning design in 2013 formulated individually. The teachers' qualifications were accordance with the educational background and pedagogical competence of some teachers was still less than the maximum, and supporting factors were computer, papers,  and printer. (2) According to input, the support  of school and effort of the teachers was still less than the maximum. (3) According to process, the suitability of the utilization of the Islamic instructional design was sometimes appropriate and sometimes not appropriate. The time of making the Islamic instructional design conducted beginning of each semester, although sometimes the Islamic instructional design has not finished and the period of utilization of the Islamic instructional design was for one semester. (4) According to product, the impact of the utilization of the Islamic instructional design have positive impacts and negative impacts, and the students' responses to the utilization of the Islamic instructional design have  positive response and negative response.

The subjects of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) are the terms of Islamic Religious Education courses applied to universities of Muhammadiyah which is very significant in forming students as professional, intellectual, and personal religious learning learner according to the guidance of Islam that upholds the value of humanity,and able to compete in the era of globalization, therefore the implementation process of AIK curriculum subjects must be well managed, structured and systematic. This research is qualitative descriptive, conducted in STKIP Muhammadiyah Palopo, aimed to describe the implementation of curriculum management of the subjects of al-Islam and Kemuhammadiayahan in STKIP Muhammadiyah Palopo. Data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used data reduction techniques, data display, and conclusions. The results showed that AIK curriculum management functions in STKIP Muhammadiyah Palopo were well implemented, supported by muhammadiyah cadres and other stakeholders.
