The focus of this research is focussed on the role of Islamic boarding school of Bahrul Ulum in anticipating youth naughty in sub district of Sinar Jaya Jelutung Sungailiat Bangka. With the objective is to describe the role of the Islamic Boarding School Bahrul Ulum in anticipating the attitude and the youth naughty. This reserach used qualitative research by using enthology method. the methods of collecting data by using   interviews, observation, documentation, to answer the research question.  The result of his research is that the role of the Islamic boarding school of Bahrul Ulum in the sosial community only about attending Tahlilan when there is one of the community deaths or there a thank giving party and have not been significant role in anticipating the youth naughty yet. This is caused by the Islmic Boarding school’s founder focuse more on the activities of the teaching learning process and guiding Islamic students in Islamic boarding schools and have not a special program in anticipating the youth naughty arround the Islamic boarding school.   Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode etnografi, bertujuan menemukan fakta, ternyata masih terdapat pondok pesantren yang tumbuh dan berkembang di tengah- tengah masyarakat yang hidup dalam kemajemukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sejarah berdirinya pondok pesantren Bahrul Ulum berawal dari ide para pejabat Kabupaten Bangka. Pola pondok pesantren Bahrul Ulum dikategorikan pondok pesantren khalafi. Sedangkan pola kepemimpinan dengan berpusat pada ketua yayasan. Peran Pondok pesantren Bahrul Ulum di masyarakat hanya sebatas menghadiri acara tahlilan ketika terdapat warga  yang tertimpa musibah kematian atau pada acara hajatan. Dan belum memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam mengantisipasi kenakalan remaja. Hal ini disebabkan para pengelola pondok masih terfokus dengan aktivitas  di dalam pondok pesantren serta belum memiliki program khusus dalam hal tersebut, padahal masih terdapat sebagian remaja memiliki perilaku “nakal”  di Kelurahan Sinar Jaya Jelutung Sungailiat Bangka.

The emphasis on noble character (mahmudah) is very much focused on the Sabilul Muhtadien Islamic boarding school, because crimes often occur in the surrounding community. Through the role and contribution of traditional Islamic boarding schools, in this case, they have shown many advantages in producing generations of students and the surrounding community, including through coaching and learning, religious practices can shape behavior that manifests religious understanding in students and the surrounding community. The purpose of this study is to describe the state of Islamic boarding schools through recitations developed in the learning process that can form noble character (mahmudah) as well as analyze the process of good habits which can then be implemented in everyday life. Qualitative research methods with data collection, by collecting information from informants, both written and orally, researchers collect data by means of observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out during data mining in the field and after data was collected. The results of this study found that the development of noble character which was implemented with the learning process in Islamic boarding schools could add to the improvement of religious life for children and the community, which was easy to do and manifested through ways of thinking, saying, and acting based on religious values, so that in real life it can be develop the ability of students from various faiths, worship and actuality, so that the practice of morals and synergistic "nyantren" can be realized as well as being able to actualize the role of pesantren in the practice of daily life both in the pesantren environment or in the community.

This study aims to analyze the role of the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in community economic empowerment in Pacet Village, Mojokerto. This study uses a qualitative research approach to understand phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects, such as subjects, perceptions, motivations, actions, and so forth. The results showed that the Riyadhul Jannah Islamic boarding school had a role in community empowerment around the boarding school. The role of Islamic boarding schools is shown by the activities of the business units of PT. Rijan Dinamis Selaras which involve communities around the boarding schools so that the benefits can be felt directly by the people of Pacet Village and its surroundings.Keywords: Economic Empowerment, Islamic Business, Islamic Communities

Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Jadid utilize curriculum centralization system. The policy is taken from several evaluations to repair the former system. This research uses qualitative research with phenomenology in Madrasah Diniyah Nurul Jadid, the research result some internal and external effect; first, decreasing santri’s solid time. Second, santri achievement to understand the lesson given is equal. Third, minimizing expense. Fourth, teaching learning process and student or teacher activeness is more monitored. Fifth, able to compete with other Madrasah Diniyah. Sixth, high social loyalty. Seventh, santri guardian or parent can know about personality development of santri in pesantren.

Pondok Pesantren is one of the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia. The significance of the kiai's role in the boarding school is directly proportional to his leadership in managing and directing the entire community in his cottage, especially the students and their influence in society. While the model in leading his Islamic boarding school, each kiai has his own method for advancing his pesantren. This happened because of the kiai's focus on developing his boarding school and the environmental conditions of the surrounding community. This article was describe how the leadership role of kiai in Islamic boarding schools in developing the institutions. This research  was descriptive research methods with a qualitative research approach. The main finding in the researcher was the figure of a kiai with his charismatic character that able to have a positive effect in the development of the Islamic boarding schools. <p><em>The research aims to: 1.) determine the role of pesantren in the millennial perspective, and 2.) determine the pattern of leadership in Islamic boarding schools in the millennial perspective. It is interesting to study the development of Islamic boarding schools in the millennial era as a legacy of education during the Islamic era, particularly its role in the millennial perspective and its leadership pattern. The qualitative research method was used in this study. All leaders, caregivers, teachers, residents near the Islamic boarding school, and students at Pondok Pesantren Assalam Jambewangi Selopuro Blitar comprise the research population. Purposive random sampling was used to select the research sample. Interviews, observations, and documentation are used to collect research data. Data triangulation is used to verify the accuracy of the data. This research yielded the following findings is Islamic boarding schools, in their role in the millennial era, can keep up with the times. still exist and are improving. This Islamic Boarding School is a salafiyah that can keep up with the times as well as Science and Technology without departing from the existing guidelines. Without departing from the rules enshrined in Islam's teachings.</em></p>

This qualitative research is based on phenomena that occur in Islamic boarding school environments that get negative stigma related to radicalism, aims to uncover the characteristics of radicalism, character education patterns in preventing radicalism, efforts made by Islamic boarding schools through the implementation of character education in preventing the entry of radical understanding in the students at the Islamic Boarding School and the boarding school Revitalization management. The results showed that there were no embryos of radical ideology and no indication of radicalism teachings. That is because the clerics, leaders of Islamic boarding schools, and their stakeholders have committed that in the boarding schools that they manage there should not appear radicalism. Revitalization of the management of Islamic boarding schools in order to have a significant role in preventing radicalism is by; (a) Creating commitment and not giving the slightest opportunity for the emergence of radical ideas; (b) Restoring the existence of Islamic boarding schools as tafaqquh fiddin and managing boarding schools committed not to engage in practical politics; (c) Closely monitoring all boarding school programs to be free from radicalism.

In response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, most of the higher education institutions (HEIs) across the globe have replaced conventional teaching with online teaching. However, the technological preparedness of countries of varied nature differs significantly. In this context, the purpose of the study is to answer the following research question: how are the HEIs mitigating the difficulties that have resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic to facilitate online teaching–learning process? The study is carried out based on a cross-sectional study from 281 academic professionals who are employed in HEIs in India and Ethiopia. The findings from this comparative study highlight that digital divide and lack of institutional preparedness are found to be major problems that constrained the effective implementation of online teaching/learning. Besides, this study also found that training programmes for the faculty members to utilize web resources and facilitate online teaching were found to be limited in both the countries. The article concludes by offering suggestions and policy advice to minimize the digital divide and for successful implementation of online teaching in HEIs.

This research was designed to find out and analyze of the collaborative learning application in reading material at ninth grade of SMPN 7 Kinali Pasaman Barat. This research conducted due to several problems found in the field which were students make a fuss when working in groups, students do not listen to given the assignment by the teacher. It can be seen that there were students who work on group assignments that care and others were just busy talking with others. This research was done in order to answer the research question “What were the role of student and what were the role of teacher in collaborative learning at the ninth grade of SMPN 7 Kinali Pasaman Barat?” This research was a qualitative research using collaborative learning strategy. The purpose of this research was to find out and analyze the collaborative learning applicationin reading material at the ninth grade of SMPN 7 KinaliPasaman Barat by analyzing the teacher’s and students’ role in the collaborative learning. The researcher used interview and observation as the instrument of the research. The interview was directed to both students and teacher, which for the students contained 12 questions and for the teacher contained 7 questions. The researcher took 2 classes namely IX1 and IX2 as the observation object.                    Based on the finding from interview and observation of the collaborative learning in SMPN 7 Kinali Pasaman Barat, it was found that the teacher already fulfilled her role in the collaborative learning effectively, in the other hand the students still lack of the role as the cheer leader. They still laughed at their friends mistake. Besides that, the other roles that the students supposed to have were already done effectively. As the conclusion, the collaborative learning in SMPN 7 Kinali Pasaman Barat was good since the students and the teacher were doing their role effectively

This study is a study study that analyzes the role of metacognitive strategies with the help of the PQ4R method on academic achievement of PIAUD students at the Sunan Giri Bojonegoro Institute of Islamic Religion. Students in this case are students who follow the learning process in higher education who are required to equip themselves with standardized competencies created with academic achievement, as a provision to take positions and support in an increasingly competitive world of work. Based on the results of data analysis of interviews, observations and questionnaires showed that the use of metacognitive strategies with the help of the PQ4R method had a significant role in student academic achievement in cognitive courses.
