This research is motivated by indications that students have not been able to control themselves in the use of mobile phones, so it can negatively affect students. This study aims to analyze students' self-control when learning from home in using mobile phones during the Covid-19 outbreak. This study is a type of descriptive quantitative research with a research population of all students of State Junior High School 3 Sungai Penuh numbering 149 people, then the sample of this study was taken with total sampling techniques. The study data was collected using a scale of students' self-control in mobile phone use, then analyzed data using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the level of self-control of students in using mobile phones during the Covid-19 pandemic in aspects of self-control, diligent despite many obstacles, behaving according to rules and norms, controlling emotions, and the ability to adjust to be in the moderate category. For that, to the next researcher, it is expected to conduct research by conducting treatment to research subjects so that the ability of students in controlling themselves becomes better, especially in the use of mobile phones

This article explores the purpose for which GAS, as a data analytics tool, is utilised by internal audit functions in Australia. A quantitative research method was applied, and the data was analysed using descriptive statistics. The total number of online questionnaires returned was 50 (i.e., a response rate of 15.53%) from the total research population of 322 chief audit executives of internal audit functions of organisations that are registered members with the IIA-Australia. The purpose of descriptive statistics is to describe what the data looks like and to compare variables numerically; therefore, no inferences or extrapolation of the data results were made. The results of the study can be used as a benchmark that may enable CAEs to identify whether they are staying abreast of current best practice in the area of technology-based tools and techniques for tests of controls.

Information service as one type of guidance and counseling services in schools has lost its function in helping students to control themselves from performing sexual harassment. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of information service in improving students’ self control against sexual harassment. This is a quantitative research with an experimental design. The research population is students of a Vocational School in Padang and the sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Data collection was performed through a questionnaire on self-control and data were analyzed using t test. The results of the test reveal that information service is effective in improving students’ self control against sexual harassment, with the help of Guidance and Counseling teachers/ the school’s Counselor to prevent sexual harassment in schools.

Our country is an Eastern country where polite culture is highly respected, but the reality is that the culture has begun to wane plus the technological advances wrongly utilized by teenagers today. When adolescence is a transitional period, their emotions are not stable. This is why teenagers are easily influenced in everything, so their ethics of communicating has faded. This study to determine the effect of emotional control in improving student communication ethics, this research is categorized into quantitative research because it is more effectively used with research data in the form of numbers - numbers. This study involves two types of variables. Free variables are Emotional Control, the dependent variable is the Ethics of Communicating. The instrument used in this research is the emotional control questionnaire test and analyzed by using descriptive statistics.

This study aims to determine the perception of parents in choosing television programs for the moral development of elementary school children in Kuok, Simpang pawuo hamlet, terap island village RT 04 RW 02. This research method uses descriptive quantitative research, the research subjects are parents of elementary school students who reside lives in Simpang pawuo hamlet RT 02 RW 04. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive quantitative data analysis techniques. By calculating the percentage of anget yields that were carried out in the Simpnag Pawuo hamlet, Terap Island, Kuok, Kampar, Riua. the percentage of the questionnaire performance on each indicator is more than 70%. On the result of the percentage indicator. With the percentage of indicators of Opinion 87.2, Response 83.51%, Meaning 80.75% and Perception 77.49%. First, parents must provide direction and understanding to children about the shows to be watched, as well as provide assistance and explanations, Both parents must provide supervision to the child so that the child will be careful in choosing television shows. Third, provide guidance to children so they want to. watching television shows that educate and uphold moral values so that children can minimize the activities of watching television shows that are not useful, The four admonitions and strict sanctions from parents will provide a deterrent effect when children watch television shows that are not educational, thus parents can direct the child to watch shows that can improve the moral reasoning of junior high school aged children in Simpang Pawuo Hamlet RT 04 RW 02 Pulau Terap Village, Kuok District.

AbstractThe efforts to increase learning motivation can be done by using instructional media. This study aims to find out the use of media and the effect of the use of instructional media towards motivation to learn Arabic. This is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study are 94 students of immersion class at State Islamic Junior High School (MTs N) Plupuh Sragen. All students become the sample in this study. The data is processed by using descriptive statistics and correlation test of Product Moment. Based on the hypothesis test, the magnitude of the correlation coefficient (r) is 0.4723 greater than 0.207 with significance level of 5%. It can be concluded that Ha that there is "the effect of the use of instructional media to learn Arabic student motivation" is accepted. The results inform that there is a significant effect of media learning towards student motivation, especially in learning Arabic.

Empirically, be mentioned that punishment and reward giving effect on the motivation of student learning. Motivation that increasing will effect on result of student learning is still low. Therefore, researcher interested in doing this research with the goal to reveal the effect of reward and punishment giving on the result of student learning. The research population was all students of VII grade in Junior High School 9 Banjarmasin amounting to 306 students with the samples are 32 students of VII F class as the control class and 32 students of VII G class as the experiment class. The methods of data collection through testing and non-testing methods . The type of research is a quantitative research of experimental with pretest-posttest control group design and the methods of analysis are used include validity test, reliability est, preliminary test and t-test to tested the hypothesis. The research found that the population average between the control and experiment class are the same or there is no difference of the population average between the control and experiment class. The conclusion of the research that the effect of reward and punishment giving all together didn’t effect significantly on the result of student learning.

Purpose of the study: This study aims to identify the type of dyslexia students have and the relationship with motivation given by parents for dyslexic students to go to school. Methodology: This type of research is associative quantitative research with correlational design. Where the total number of the sample from this study were 48 students and parents’with details of 35 male students and 13 female students who were taken based on purposive sampling techniques and 48 students' parents, data were then analyzed with the help of SPSS 21 application to look for descriptive statistics in the form of mean, min, and max as well as the relationship between parents' motivation and dyslexic children. Main Findings: From the results of the analysis that has been done, there is a relationship between parents' motivation in fostering the interests of dyslexic children, this is reinforced by the results of dyslexia indicators of PA type with good categories of 64.6% (31 of 48) students, RAN indicators with good categories of 58.3 % (28 out of 48) students, WM indicators with good categories were 62.5% (30 out of 48) students, and parents' motivation for dyslexic children had a useful category of 60.4% (30 out of 48) students. Applications of this study: For this reason, it is recommended that parents of children with dyslexia children give more attention or motivation than normal healthy children. Novelty/Originality of this study: In this study, the renewal is looking at the types of dyslexia students, both those of type Phonological Awareness, Rapid Automatized Naming, Working Memory, as well as the relationship with the motivation of parents in motivating children with dyslexia.

Students' ignorance of the potential they have, especially the intelligence they have, is an obstacle for students to be able to improve their achievements in school. For that, it needs to be revealed multiple intelligence profiles, especially linguistic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal intelligence of students. This research is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study was a student of State Junior High School 5 Sungai Penuh that amounted to 145 people and the study sample was taken with the formula Slovin with random sampling cluster sampling technique so that the number of samples in this study amounted to 107 people. This research instrument uses the Multiple Intelligence Scale that researchers develop themselves, and then the data that has been collected is tabulated and analyzed with descriptive statistics to calculate respondents' scores using ideal scores. The results of this study revealed that students' multiple intelligence profiles related to linguistic intelligence were in the medium category, then the student's interpersonal intelligence was in a low category, and the student's intrapersonal intelligence was in the medium category

Purpose of the study: This study aims to describe the behavior of playing gadgets on Budi Mulia Dua Junior High School students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, find the score of gadget playing behavior on Budi Mulia Dua Junior High School students in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and find the dominant factor of gadget playing behavior on Budi Mulia Dua Junior High School Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Methodology: The method used in this study mix method research design with an exploratory mix method approach. The research subjects were students of Budi Mulia Dua Junior High School in Yogyakarta, Indonesia with a sample of 151 students, 7 teachers, 3 educational staff, and the head of Budi Mulia Dua Junior High School Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Research data were collected through observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. Main Findings: The results of this study indicate that the gadgets playing behavior of students in Budi Mulia Dua Yogyakarta, Indonesia are included in the good category, which is in the range of scores between 379-492. The score of the gadgets playing behavior was 484.3. Applications of this study: The students still have emotionally stable and controlled when using gadgets, have self-control over the use of gadgets, still pay attention to personal health in the use of gadgets, and discipline in the selection of gadget usage. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research confirms that the physical-motor condition in gadget playing behavior is the most dominant factor for creating good behavior for students in playing gadgets because the physical-motor becomes a reference in playing gadget behavior because physical-motor can reflect in a complex way how Student cognitive knowledge about gadgets. and their use, as well as how students are social-emotional when using gadgets.
