GIVING Turmeric Ointment MAY REDUCE STRIAE GRAVIDARUM IN THE PUPERATIVE MOTHER Background:Striaegravidarum is a sign or stretch that occurs on the skin of 50% to 90% of women during the second half of pregnancy. Nearly half of women experience stretching of the skin, especially in the abdomen, as a result of increasing gestational age.The presence of striae gravidarum causes a lack of self-confidence in the post-partum mother, so this makes the postpartum mother have to undergo medication and even surgery to restore her skin to the state before she was pregnant.The purpose: of this study was to determine the effect of turmeric ointment in reducing Striaegravidarum in postpartum mothers at the Hj. DewiSesmeraS.Tr.Keb Aluminum IV TanjungMulia Medan in 2020.Methods: This study used a Quasy Experiment Design (Quasi-Experimental Design) using a One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population and sample in this study were all postpartum mothers with 15 people. This study used Porposive sampling technique with univariate and bivariate analysis with T Test.Results: the research obtained from data analysis with the Wilcoxon test showed that post-partum mothers could conclude pre-test and post-test giving turmeric ointment. The results in the table show that the P-Value (0.001) <α 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of pre-test and post-test on the administration of turmeric ointment in reducing striaegravidarum.Conclusion: This study shows that there is an effect of turmeric ointment in reducing striaegravidarum. Suggestions for the clinic mother Hj. Dewi Sesmera so that mothers can advise postpartum mothers to make their own products with ingredients derived from traditional turmeric in reducing striaegravivarum. Keywords: Key words: Turmeric ointment, Striae gravidarum, postpartum mother

Sectio caesarea is a delivery by making an incision in uterus through the frontwall of the abdomen. Sectio caesarea actions cause pain due to surgery. She also had pain, fatigue and prolonged labor process can cause breast engorgement. Engorgement is a condition where the breasts become full due to static ASI lymphatic flow, increased congestion and vascularity, and can lead toaccumulation of intra-caudal pressure that will affect the segment of the breast so that the whole pressure increased breast. Non-pharmacological management used to overcome this problem is to use cabbage compresses. Cabbage leaves contain an amino acid that is believed to reduce the breast engorgement. This study aims to determine the effect of cabbage compress to decrease breast engorgement scale of post partum section caesarea. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with a one group pre-post test design. Sampling technique with consecutive sampling. Population in this study were post partum section caesarea with breast engorgement in Rumkit Bhakti Wira Tamtama from June to August 2017. The analysis using the Wilcoxon test. Results has difference in scale breast engorgement before and after cabbage compress on postpartum maternal section caesarea with p value 0,001 (<0,05). Conclusion there are significant cabbage compress to decrease postpartum sectio caesarea with breast engorgement after compresses cabbage. This intervention is recommended to increase the comfort of post partum sectio caesarea with breast engorgement.

Anemia is caused by iron deficiency in the body, a body that lacks iron becomes dizzy, the body feels weak. From interviewing 10 first trimester pregnant women, 7 pregnant women said dizziness, weakness, conjunctiva anemis. Long bean juice is a therapy to increase hemoglobin levels. This study aims to determine the effect of long bean juice on increasing hemoglobin levels in pregnant women in the first trimester The study design was Quasi Experimental with Pre And Post Test Without Control. The study sample were 16 first trimester pregnant women with Purposive Sampling technique. The results of the study by using the Wilcoxon test obtained p value <0.005 (0.001) it means that there was an effect of long bean juice on first trimester anemia pregnant women with an increase in hemoglobin levels The conclusion of this study, there was effect of long bean juice on first trimester anemia pregnant women with an increase in hemoglobin levels. It was recommended that long bean juice be used as a SOP in midwifery care for pregnant women to increase hemoglobin levels.

Low breastmilk production is a major problem for new mothers, apart from drowning or flat nipples, swollen breasts, babies who are reluctant to breastfeed because of improper techniques or babies with short tongues.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving soy milk on increasing breast milk production in post-partum mothers at the Juwita Primary Clinic in 2020. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with one group pretest posttest.  The population in this study were all postpartum mothers four to ten days post partum, the sample in this study was 10 respondents using accidental sampling technique in accordance with the inclusion criteria.  Based on the results of this study, it was found that before soy milk intervention was given as many as 70% complained that their milk was a little smooth and 30% smooth, while after being given soy milk intervention, 40% smooth milk and 60% very smooth milk were obtained.  Based on the research results obtained P-value 0.004 <0.05.  This means that there is an effect of giving soy milk on increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers.  The conclusion is that giving soy milk has a positive effect on increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers.

Mothers who are facing the labor process will feel pain related to uterine contractions, various ways have done to reduce pain, namely by non-pharmacological techniques, including deep breathing relaxation, massage, changes in the mother's position so that labor can run safely and comfortably. This study aims to determine the effect of deep breath relaxation techniques on pain intensity in the active phase of labor. This research is a quasi-experimental design approach method pre test and post test. The sampling technique used accidental sampling as many as 28 mothers had birth in July - August BPM Y Karawang. The results of the data normality statistical test used the Shapiro-Wilk test. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained signed rank p value 0.0000 <0.05. The conclusion are that there are an effect of deep breath relaxation techniques on decreasing the pain intensity of the active phase of labor. The suggestion of this study is that deep breath relaxation techniques can be recommended as a complementary tearpie and applied to relieve pain during labor, so that labor can run smoothly

Breast milk is a liquid produced by mothers as the best food intake for the nutritional needs of babies. Several problems related to breastfeeding in post partum mothers are lactation management which is less effective on the first day of birth, caused by lack of knowledge and stress. One of the methods used to overcome breast milk insufficiency is the marmet technique. Marmet technique is a combination of massage that is effective, manual, safe and free of cost. The marmet technique is an optimal effort to stimulate the hormones oxytocin and prolactin in the smooth flow of breast milk. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the marmet technique on the smoothness of breastfeeding in post partum mothers in the Tanjungpinang City Health Center Work Area. This is a study with a quasi-experimental design (Quasi Experiment) with a Pre and Post Test without Control design. The research population was post partum mothers as many as 201 people and the number of samples was 30 respondents. Samples were taken using purposive sampling. Hypothesis test using non parametric by doing Wilcoxon test. The results showed that there was an effect of the marmet technique on the smoothness of breastfeeding in post partum mothers with a value of 0.000. Research recommendations for effective marmet techniques are carried out to launch breast milk in postpartum mothers and the marmet technique can stimulate an increase in the hormones prolaksin and oxytocin so that it has a relaxing effect on postpartum mothers

Introduction. Migraine is often disturbing Activity Daily Living (ADL) due to the throbbing pain, accompanied by nausea, no appetite, sensitivity to light, sounds and smells. The purpose of this study was determined differences in patient’s ADL before, after one week, two weeks, and three weeks after being intervented by wet cupping method. Methods. This research used pre and post test quasi-experimental design. Numbers of sample were 30 male patients, choosed by consecutive sampling technique. Wet cupping treatment was given 1 time only. ADL was measured with a checklist Headache Impact Test-6 (HIT-6) before treatment, one week, two weeks, and three weeks after treatment. Analysis of data was done in two steps: the frequency of distribution and multivariate repeated ANOVA test in normal distribution and Friedman test in unnormal distribution (p = 0.000) then followed post test with the Wilcoxon test. Results. Post test with the Wilcoxon in migraine patients was done before cupping, one week, two weeks and three weeks after wet cupping. Results showed p value 0,000 for all groups. Discussion. ADL before cupping differ by one week, two weeks and three weeks after cupping with p value 0.000(α <0.005).  Keywords: Cupping, Activity Daily Living (ADL), Migraines

Video-Blogging (Vlog) is one of the media that is of interest to today's millennial youth because it contains audiovisuals and digital images so that it can attract the attention of teenagers. One of the health promotion strategies using Vlog is to increase adolescent knowledge about HIV / AIDS. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of health promotion using vlog media on the level of adolescent knowledge. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental, one group pre and post-test design without a control group and a descriptive correlation. The sampling techniques is using a purposive sampling technique as many as 64 students. Statistical test using Wilcoxon and Kendal's tau.  The univariate results in this study were 45.3% male and 54.7% female, 43.8% information media from Radio/Tv / Internet. The results of the bivariate analysis were differences before and after health promotion (p-value = 0.000), but there was no significant relationship between vlog media and changes in knowledge levels (p-value = 0.249). The strategy to increase knowledge about HIV / AIDS in adolescents needs to be modified according to several other types of media so that the effectiveness of each media can be seen clearly.

During breastfeeding, mothers are recommended to increase their intake of energy, protein, calcium, iron, folic acid, and other vitamins and minerals to meet the nutritional needs of breastfeeding. In order for mothers to produce 1 liter of breast milk, additional food is needed. Edamame plant is a local food ingredient that has potential for nutrition for nursing mothers, because it contains phytosterol compounds that function to increase and facilitate breast milk production (lactagogum effect). This study aims to see whether there is an effect of giving edamame nuts to breast milk production in postpartum mothers at the Midwife Clinic Putri Tanjung, Kota Kisaran Timur District in 2021. This type of research is a Quasy Experiment Design using the one Group Pretest-Postest Design, with a total sample of 8 person. Data collection uses primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique is using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the Wilcoxon test, the results showed that post-partum mothers gave edamame nuts pre-test and post-test with a sample of 8 respondents having a P-value (0.008) < 0.05 then H0 was rejected. test and post-test on the administration of edamame nuts on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at the Tanjung Putri Midwife Clinic, East Kisaran City District in 2021. It is recommended for health workers to provide information about giving edamame nuts as an alternative to increase breast milk production for postpartum mothers.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counseling during Antenatal care (ANC) on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about the danger signs of pregnancy in the Kapasa health center coverage area. Methods: In this study, using a pre-experimental design design with the One Group Pre test and Post test approach and using purposive sampling research techniques. The number of samples is 16 people. The sampling technique uses the Federer formula. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire, data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis using distribution tabels and Wilcoxon statistical test with 95% confidence degrees. Results: The results showed that the results of the Wilcoxon test for knowledge obtained p value = 0.011 which means that there is an effect of counseling on knowledge of pregnant women. And the Wilcoxon test results obtained p value = 0.025, which means there is an effect of counseling on the attitude of pregnant women. Conclusion: there is an effect of counseling during antenatal care on attitudes of pregnant women.

The postpartum period is a period ranging from six hours to 42 days after delivery. Postpartum care is needed in this period because of the critical period for both mother and baby, it is estimated that 60% of maternal deaths due to pregnancy occur after delivery, and 50% of deaths during the puerperium. The MCH Handbook is a tool for early detection of problems or problems with maternal and child health, the MCH handbook can be used as a means of communication, and to provide information about important information for mothers. One of the contents of the MCH Handbook is notes and information on how to care for postpartum mothers, signs of danger of childbirth. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of the MCH Handbook and the knowledge of postpartum mothers about the danger signs of childbirth at PMB Langgeng. Methods: analytic survey research using aapproach cross sectional.Sampling using a sampling technique with 20 postpartum mothers. Results: This study showed that the knowledge of postpartum mothers about the use of books was in the category of less than 11 (55.0%). Most of the postpartum mothers were less effective in utilizing the KIA book as many as 13 (65.0%). And the results of the bivariate analysis of the two factors that are connected get related results (p value 0.030). Conclusion: there is an effect of using the MCH Handbook on the knowledge of mothers about the dangers of postpartum.   Keywords:MCH Handbook, Post Partum
