This study aims to determine the low reading ability on the second grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya. This research using descriptive method. The population in this study are all students class II. That is divided into two classes, namely II-A, which amounted to 18 people and II-B, amounting to 16 people. The sample in this study is the total number of study population which amounted to 34 students. The result of dominant factor until the very dominant factor is the low reading ability of students of second grade students of SDN-8 Menteng Palangka Raya, that students at reading not pay attention to punctuation there are 34 students or 100%. Learners do not understand the sentence that he read there are 32 students or 94.11%. Learners do not read smoothly there are 22 students or 64.70%. Students at reading reading eliminate letters or words there are 22 students or 64.70%, and learners mistake pronounce letters that sound like a letter b with p There are 21 students or 61.77%.

Abstrak: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas 3 siklus yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan media gambar binatang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mendeskripsi secara tertulis siswa kelas II SDN Punik menggunakan metode observasi, interview, dokumentasi, dan tes. Diperoleh hasil siklus I yaitu 10 dari 22 siswa tuntas atau ketercapaian 45,4%, siklus II yaitu 13 dari 22 siswa tuntas atua ketercapaian 59%, siklus III yaitu 19 dari 22 siswa tuntas atua ketercapaian 86,3%. Disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual menggunakan media gambar binatang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan mendeskripsi secara tertulis siswa kelas II SDN Punik Abstract:  Class Action Research 3 cycles consisting of planning, observation, evaluation, and reflection stages with the aim to know whether the application of contextual approach using animal image media can improve the skill of descripting in writing the second grade students of SDN Punik using observation method, interview, documentation, and test . The result of cycle I is 10 out of 22 students complete or 45.4% achievement, cycle II is 13 of 22 students complete 59% achievement, cycle III that is 19 out of 22 students complete atua achievement 86.3%. It is concluded that the contextual approach using animal image media can improve the skill of descripting in writing the students of class II SDN Punik

<p><em>The purpose of this research is to improve thematic learning outcomes through the Kahoot application. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which was conducted in 3 cycles. The research was conducted in three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This research was conducted on second grade students at SD Negeri Margasari 03, Margasari District, Tegal Regency with a total of 29 students. Research time was conducted from October to November 2020. The data collection technique used tests. Data analysis consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research shows the use of the Kahoot application can improve the learning outcomes of the theme 3 of my daily tasks in class II SD Negeri Margasari 03 Academic Year 2020/2021 as evidenced by the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I, namely 76%, in cycle II it increases to 83% and cycle III to 90%.</em></p>

The background of this research is still low absorption of second grade students in science subject matter. Thepurpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of Science Class II SDN 008 Bumi Ayu through STADtype cooperative learning model. This research took place in class II SDN 008 Bumi Ayu with the number ofsubjects as many as 20 people consisting of 9 female students and 11 male students. This research is a classroomaction research conducted in two cycles. Based on the percentage results obtained by individual and classicalcompleteness by applying STAD type cooperative learning model, before the action of 20% is complete, in thefirst cycle increased 55% and in the second cycle increased by 90%. Increased learning outcomes on baselinescore 64 increased to 76.75 in cycle I, with an increase of 19.92%. In cycle II the average of student learningoutcomes again increased to 84.5 with the increase that occurred from cycle I to cycle II is equal to 10.1%.

This study is conducted on the basis of researcher’s observation that students are lack of interest of study in learning Arabic grammar, namely Nahwu-Shorof basic learning. Students have good basic on English ability. The objective of this study is to find out the feasibility of designing ‘’NahShorNa’’ bilingual media for Nahwu-Shorof basic learning for students. This study involved 12 students. The subjects of this study are second grade students of An-Nashriyah Islamic Boarding School. This study used qualitative data and used Research and Development (R&D) Research Design. The instruments of this study used observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. The study focused on reading ability. The findings of the study that are the result of media validation is 88% score in very good category, the result of two materials validation  is interesting categories, English material is 75% score in pretty good category, the Arabic material is 73,75 % score in pretty good category and  the result of user validation in preliminary field study is ‘’Good’’ response

The aim of this research is to apply Know Want to Learn strategy to improve reading skill in second grade students of SDN 245 Temboe. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) conducted in collaboration with teachers through the use of Hopkins model consisting of 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were the students of class II SDN 245 Temboe which amounted to 19 students. The data collection technique used is by observation, test and documentation. The research data obtained is analyzed by using statistical formula (percentage) to express descriptively the research result. Furthermore, to discuss and explain the results of research that is quantitative descriptive then used data analysis techniques by reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. With the implementation of Know Want to Learn (KWL) strategy can improve reading skill in second grade students of SDN 245 Temboe, the improvement is proved by the increasing of average score of students reaching Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria (KKM) and number of students on pre-action test reaching KKM amounted to 26.31% with an average score of 59, in the first cycle the number of students who reached the KKM of 47.36% with an average score of 66, and in the second cycle the number of students who reached the KKM of 94.73% 85. Thus, the reading skill in class II SDN 245 Temboe by applying the Know Want to Learn strategy (KWL) conducted from the first cycle to the second cycle shows significant results.

This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK).Conducted collaboratively between researchers, observers and subjects studied.The main objective of this research is to improve the ability of learners writing and reading grade 2 on ability wrote the entry through the method of SAS.The subjects of this study were all students of class II consisting of 26 students, with the composition of 13 women and 13 students.The implementation of this research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2015/2016 school year.The process of this research is conducted two cycles; the allocation of each cycle is two hours of lesson consists of four main actions namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. ABSTRACT The aims of this research was to know students' ability in speaking and to find out which aspects are the most dominant problems for the students at the second grade students of SMP YLPI Pekanbaru. The focused of this research was to analyze the students' problems in speaking based on five components of speaking which are pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. The design of this research was a qualitative research. This research was conducted at SMP YLPI Pekanbaru. The population of this research was the second-grade students at SMP YLPI Pekanbaru which consists of 54 students. The researchers chose class II.2 as a sample with the total number of the students were 28 students through purposive technique sampling. The researchers used speaking test as the instrument of research. This research conducted via Whatsapp by recording the students’ performances when retell descriptive text. Then the researcher transcribed the videos into scripts and asked raters to provide the scores. From the results of this study, the researcher found that the students' speaking ability in retelling story had the average score of 3 and categorized as a good level. The pronunciation component, the students’ mean score was 2.8 points, while grammar got 3.5 points. Following that, vocabulary component was 3.2 points, conversely on fluency, it was 2.7 points. The last, the students’ average score on the component of comprehension was 2.8 points. Finally, it can be concluded that the most dominant problem faced by students in speaking was the fluency component. Keyword: Students’ Speaking Ability, Retelling Story, Descriptive Text

This research is based on the low reading ability of second grade students of SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota, for thatresearcher apply STAD type cooperative model to improve students' reading ability. This research is aclassroom action research conducted at SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota, the subject of this research is the secondgrade students of SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota with the number of students 30 students. Based on the results ofresearch, obtained data that students' reading ability has improved after applied STAD type cooperativelearning model. In the first cycle the number of students who reach the minimum mastery is 19 students(73.33%) and in the second cycle has increased to 24 students (86.66%). Based on this acquisition, it can beconcluded that the application of STAD type cooperative learning model can improve the reading ability ofsecond grade students SDN 004 Tembilahan Kota Kecamatan Tembilahan.

The problems studied are: 1) What is the class II student's learning behavior in classroom/face-to-face learning activities? 2) How is the Student's learning behavior in a structured activity? 3) How are students' learning behaviors in their own activities? 4) What is the student's personality competence that is formed from the learning behaviors they have done so far. The method used is descriptive qualitative, using research instrument: observation of participant/participant observation, interview, and documentation. The sample of this research is four informant of the second-grade student, second semester, that is GL, US, ML, AR. The findings of this study explain that the learning behavior of second-grade students of SD Negeri 5 Kecamatan Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya in the learning activities in class II based on curriculum system 13 (K 13), has been done according to the standard of learning process in the class, but not yet maximal. The Personality of the Class II Student is seen in dynamic conditions, in the process of forming according to the period of development that occurred in his time, with the GL details lacking enthusiasm in following the lesson, US diligent and passionate even though he was less intelligent in learning, ML quiet but diligent, and AR is diligent and passionate but likes to be noisy in the classroom, nevertheless the development of their personality. including enough categories, in terms of self-esteem, respect for other people's opinions, courtesy, and cooperation they display in interacting with their peers.
