Cawas Village has launched a Garbage Bank in every RW in its area, one of which is RW 09 Kuncen, which has succeeded in establishing the Manunggal Sejahtera Waste Bank. The focus of this program is the development of a waste bank to become the Parent Garbage Bank, both in management and in technical implementation. The objective of this activity is the compilation of the Cawas Village Kuncen Waste Bank Master Development Plan which is in line with the Cawas Village RPJMDes regarding waste management, both inorganic and organic. The Direct Action method is applied in community service programs by increasing management capabilities through socialization activities, training, practice, study visits, and Waste Bank Master planning documents preparation. The presence of the Covid-19 pandemic diverted some community empowerment activities to community efforts in overcoming Covid-19. Community empowerment is done online. The results achieved have not been optimal due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so that several strategic activities related to the initiation of the main waste bank development have been hampered. Some of the results were achieved, the agreement to build a waste bank was continued after the pandemic, a demonstration area for the reuse of waste as a planting place, preparation and implementation of an environmental competition for waste management, and activities to prevent the spread of Covid-19 (environmental sanitation and checking body temperature at the entrance to villages and mosques). The response of partner satisfaction to program implementation is above 80%, and 100% hope that it will continue

Community awareness and skills education in waste management by applying the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle (3R) is important in solving waste problems. Especially with the existence of a waste bank as social capital in community-based waste management. The activity of a waste bank is a concept of collecting dry waste and sorting it and having management like a bank, but the savings are not in the form of money but garbage. The results of this community service showed that the implementation of community empowerment through the waste bank in Tampingan has activities that include socialization of the waste bank, waste storage, waste selection, skills training and evaluation. Community empowerment through waste banks on environmental aspects has had a positive impact, particularly in relation to environmental cleanliness. As for the economic aspect, it can provide additional income for active members, and on the social aspect, it can further strengthen social relations.

Padukuhan XII Sidorejo, located in Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, was one of the areas that was cultivating a lot of fish and vegetables in buckets or budikdamber during the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the vegetables cultivated is kale and can meet daily household needs. While the type of fish that is widely cultivated with budikdamber is catfish. Cultivation of catfish and vegetables is expected to meet household needs, but consumption of catfish from this cultivation is less than optimal due to low knowledge about diversification of processed catfish. These potentials and problems in the community were further explored by the UPY Agricultural Product Technology Bachelor Program lecturer team through community service programs to provide basic knowledge about processed catfish production. Waste bank is one of the strategies for implementing the 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) in waste management at the community level using an economic incentive pattern. The government's program to reduce waste has generated a new innovation, namely by establishing a “waste bank”. Integrated waste processing can stimulate creativity and innovation in society so as to improve the welfare of residents. With a cost of ± IDR 45,000 / 20 kg for the purchase of used buckets, paralon, woven wire and EM4 as well as yeast, leftover food, vegetables and leaves can produce liquid fertilizer and compost instead of chemical fertilizers which are more expensive. ABSTRACTPandesari Village is a village located in the Pujon District, Malang Regency, East Java Province. The agricultural sector with vegetable commodities and dairy farming are business field that dominates the livelihoods of the people in Pandesari Village, so that the potential for organic waste in the form of vegetable waste and cow dung is very high. However, waste management has not been optimal. Based on these problems, a community empowerment system is needed through microbial organic waste processing. The program involved two partners there are Mekarsari VI Farmers Group Gesingan village as the main supplier of agricultural and livestock waste and Pandesari Village Youth Organization as the second partner. The mechanism for the implementation of this service is implemented by adopting a pattern of action research implementation that includes four stages, there are: program planning, program implementation, observation, and reflection. Assistance related to waste management in Pandesari Village has been carried out so that the village can be more independent to manage and process the waste. Labeling and packaging for LM and products from the use of LM, for example in the form of liquid fertilizer, compost, livestock probiotics which are the results of the production of the Village have been carried out but temporarily used for themselves. Keywords : Microbial, Organic, Waste ABSTRAKDesa Pandesari merupakan desa yang terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Pujon, Kabupaten Malang, Propinsi Jawa Timur. The existence of socio-economic benefits generated from waste savings makes the role of waste banks not only limited to waste management and recycling. But the waste bank is also able to increase participation, skills and changes in the attitude of the poor in waste management, especially women who are always involved in the household scale waste management process. On the basis of this, it is important to see the influence of the waste bank on the empowerment of poor women in Sicanang Belawan, Medan. This study uses several theoretical descriptions and related concepts; Garbage Bank and Community Empowerment Program. This research design uses associative research methods with a quantitative approach. This approach is deliberately chosen because to be able to find out the influence and also the relationship between the waste bank program variables and the empowerment of poor women. In this study, the sampling technique uses Harry King's Nomogram, where the total customers of 10 waste banks are 200 customers. Of the 200 customers taken samples with a 5% error rate. So that the number of samples to be examined is 30 customers. Then, 30 of these customers are evenly distributed to each bank of waste banks. So there are 3 customers to represent each waste bank. The results showed, first; The Waste Bank program partially has a significant influence on the empowerment of poor women. This can be seen from the value of Sig = 0.000 which is smaller than α 0.05. In addition, the R Square value is 0. 472. which means that 47.2% of the variation in the variables of empowerment of women can be influenced by the variables of the waste bank program. Second; there is a positive and strong relationship between the Waste Bank Program and Poor Women's Empowerment of r = 0.687.
