The productivity of technological processes in agriculture is determined by the set of transport and technological means used. The article describes the models for the unification of shift performance, taking into account a wide range of agricultural cargoes and a large number of works on their movement in the process of cultivation and harvesting of agricultural crops. A step-by-step modeling of scenarios for the use of transport and technological means was carried out on the basis of the optimality criterion and forecasting the period of agricultural work. They confirmed that the objective function is of theoretical and practical interest, as it helps to determine the optimal values of the power of technical means, depending on the combination of production conditions. The numerical value of power obtained by calculation can serve as a guide for manufacturers of agricultural machinery in the development of promising vehicles for a specific consumer, depending on the availability of resources and production and economic conditions.

The contradiction between the profitable work of agriculture and the lack of its simple reproduction is revealed. Profits of agricultural enterprises are secured by a strict restriction on all major items of expenditure, including labor costs, which farmers are forced to go to due to the low profitability of the industry. They have to tighten their belts more and more, saving even on the necessary things. At the same time, monopolized suppliers of resources to agriculture and network trading networks, which are oligopolies, continue to siphon resources from producers of products. The author emphasizes the nature of perfect competition of the mass of agricultural producers, to which the market economy should strive. The term “market hinterland” is introduced, which characterizes the current situation of agriculture, which is economically disadvantaged by its counterparties. This intersectoral imbalance is not eliminated and is not compensated by the state, since the subsidies allocated are not enough even to bring the wages of agricultural workers to the average size in the Russian economy. The conclusion is made about the weak state regulation of intersectoral relations, which should limit monopolies and oligopolies and create equal economic conditions for different industries and also about the need for a significant increase in state support for agriculture.

The approach to solving the problems of diagnosis and prognosis of diseases of agricultural crops using machine learning methods is described. To solve the problem of forecasting diseases of agricultural crops, it is proposed to use a genetic algorithm in the work. The analysis of the effectiveness of the proposed method is carried out depending on the convergence rate of such parameters as the mutation coefficient and population size. To solve the problem of diagnostics of agricultural crops, it is proposed to use a recurrent type of neural network. A software modelling complex has been developed that allows solving the problems of plant diseases diagnostics and making forecasts. The results obtained can reduce the costs of agricultural enterprises by reducing the cost of diagnosing agricultural diseases.

Introduction. Current economic conditions entities of Agrarian Business are characterized by instability and uncertainty. These conditions reduce the efficiency of economic activity. Agricultural enterprises can successfully manage in current business environment in case if an effective mechanism to control is constructed. It requires an adequate information security. In the information system of agricultural enterprise an accounting and analytical information plays a significant role. It is characterized in most of the cases by retrospective content. However, in the current economic conditions it is necessary to generate information not only about domestic economic conditions for agricultural enterprises, but also about a number of external factors. This information can only be obtained through strategically oriented accounting system. Purpose. The research aims to ground the necessity for developing a strategically oriented accounting system to improve management decisions in agricultural enterprises. Methods. The dialectical and systematic approaches to the study of accounting and analytical support of agricultural enterprises have been used. The abstract and logical method to justify the need to develop a strategically oriented accounting system in agricultural enterprises has been applied. Results. The accounting system is the system of information model of the system of the enterprise, which allows us to identify and process data about the facts of economic life and generate and provide information about them to users through a variety of types and formats of financial statements. With the changes in conditions of functioning of enterprises, changes of models and methods of management decisions an accounting system should be properly refined in order to meet the growing information needs of internal and external users of accounting information. As a result of the formation of market conditions there is a need to develop a proper system of accounting and analytical support implementation of the strategic objectives of the enterprise. System of strategic accounting serves as a unifying link in the information space of the enterprise. It allows integration of accounting information with data on the environment and information predictive nature. Only under such conditions accounting system can be fully implemented into the strategic management process. Perspectives. The system strategic accounting as a means of information support of management should provide an adaptation of the enterprise to the changes which occur in the environment, provide identification of critical situations, determine the main opportunities and threats and generally be a tool for maintaining economic security and sustainable development of the agricultural enterprises in dynamic market conditions.

The article covers aspects of financial condition analysis regarding creditworthiness of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises that had to operate in unstable economic conditions in 2009-2017. It is proposed to improve methodological approaches to financial assessment of an enterprise – a potential borrower, due to changes in the economy, in particular in the financial sector, which have been influenced by crises that have shaken the Ukrainian economy twice in the past ten years. The proposed approaches to assessing the financial condition of an agricultural enterprise as a component of its creditworthiness increase the accuracy and credibility of such assessments and help to minimize credit risks.

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state, reasonably promising directions for the development of microirrigation methods in Ukraine through the prism of climatic transformations. The dynamics of the areas of agricultural crops irrigated using microirrigation methods in the world and in Ukraine, as well as the structure of the areas of micro-irrigation in the context of regions of Ukraine and types of crops are shown. The largest agricultural enterprises, which are domestic leaders in the introduction of microirrigation methods, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of technical means of microirrigation, have been identified. The current stage of development of microirrigation in Ukraine is defined as a level of high understanding of technologies of its application and constantly growing use of opportunities and expansion of spheres of application of these methods of irrigation. The essential importance of domestic research institutions in the development and popularization of microirrigation methods is emphasized. With the use of theoretical methods of scientific research (analysis and synthesis, comparison, classification and generalization), the most significant scientific results of IWPaLM NAAS are systematized and a list of prepared regulatory and methodological documents in the direction of microirrigation is given. The need of Ukraine in microirrigation systems for agricultural crops for the period up to 2030 is given, trends and promising directions for the development of microirrigation methods that correspond to both the global trend of environmentally friendly irrigation and the principles of resource and energy conservation are given. The importance of state support for the introduction of microirrigation methods in terms of increasing the amount of budgetary allocations under the existing programs of state support for the agricultural sector of the Ukrainian economy is determined.

The prime source of income of the different countries in the SAARC region comes from the agricultural sector. Currently, this sector is facing several challenges in this entire region, threatening its growth and sustainability. Hence, if the policymakers need to improve the economic conditions of the nations, then the only way to do that is to improve the agricultural sectors of this region. This can be achieved by successful implementation of Supply Chain Management (SCM). This chapter is concerned with the concept of SCM and how it can play a vital role in developing the agricultural sectors in the SAARC countries. Another aspect of this chapter is concerned with the effectiveness of the application of SCM in agriculture; it can be implemented by using a fully integrated software package like SAP ERP. By the application of this IT software package, SCM can be made more efficient and lead to time and inventory reduction.

This paper presents a new approach to deal with agricultural crop recognition using SVM (Support Vector Machine), applied to time series of NDVI images. The presented method can be divided into two steps. First, the Timesat software package is used to extract a set of crop features from the NDVI time series. These features serve as descriptors that characterize each NDVI vegetation curve, i.e., the period comprised between sowing and harvesting dates. Then, it is used an SVM to learn the patterns that define each type of crop, and create a crop model that allows classifying new series. The authors present a set of experiments that show the effectiveness of this technique. They evaluated their algorithm with a collection of more than 3000 time series from the Brazilian State of Mato Grosso spanning 4 years (2009-2013). Such time series were annotated in the field by specialists from Embrapa (Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation). This methodology is generic, and can be adapted to distinct regions and crop profiles.
