Abstract: The theme of community service activities carried out in Pinanggripan village, Air Batu Subdistrict, Asahan Regency is "Implementation of Corel Draw X4 Application for Graphic Design for Pinanggripan Village Devices, Air Batu District, Asahan Regency". The purpose of the activity is to provide knowledge and skills of village officials in designing graphics using the Corel Draw X4 application. With these knowledge and skills the village device can be creative in designing using the Corel Draw X4 application. ABSTRACTOlele Village is one of the villages located in Bone Bolango Regency and is included in the Coastal Region. Most Olele villagers have livelihoods as fishermen, so most Olele village women are fishermen's wives. The purpose of community service activities carried out in Olele village is to increase community income through empowering coastal women. The method used consists of two forms, namely counseling and training. Coastal women who were participants in service activities were 30 fishermen wives. The material provided in counseling is about the types of diversification of processed products and fisheries processing techniques. Training is provided through hands-on practice and assistance during service activities. The products produced are fish fingers, dragon foot fish, jelly, pudding, and crackers which will be sold to increase community income especially for fishermen's wives. The results of community service activities carried out in the village of Olele are increased knowledge and skills diversification of processed fisheries products for fishermen wives who have received service activities. Community service activities also provide increased income for the community through the sale of various processed fishery products. Keywords:  Fish Finger, Foot Dragon Fish, Jelly Candy, Pudding, and Fish Crackers.  ABSTRAKDesa olele merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Bone Bolango dan termasuk wilayah pesisir. Penduduk desa Olele sebagian besar memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai nelayan, sehingga sebagian besar perempuan desa Olele merupakan istri nelayan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan di desa Olele yaitu untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan perempuan pesisir. Metode yang digunakan terdiri dari dua bentuk yaitu penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Perempuan pesisir yang dijadikan peserta pada kegiatan pengabdian adalah istri-istri nelayan sebanyak 30 orang. Materi yang diberikan pada penyuluhan yaitu tentang jenis diversifikasi produk olahan dan teknik pengolahan hasil perikanan. Pelatihan diberikan dengan cara praktek langsung dan pendampingan selama kegiatan pengabdian berlangsung. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah fish finger, foot dragon fish, permen jell,  puding, dan kerupuk yang akan dijual untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat khususnya bagi istri-istri nelayan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan di desa Olele yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang diversifikasi produk olahan perikanan bagi istri-istri nelayan yang telah mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian. Kegiatan pengabdian juga memberikan dampak bagi peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat melalui penjualan diversifikasi produk olahan perikanan.  Kata Kunci: Kaki Naga, Kerupuk, Nugget, Permen dan Puding.

Abstract Purpose: The Community Service Program (PKM) is located in Kerinjing Village, Tanjung Raja District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The targeted target audiences are housewives in the village. This activity aims to: (1) socialize the potential benefits of family medicinal plants (TOGA) as healthy drinks that can increase income, (2) socialize the correct way of planting family medicinal plants so that the quality is better, arousing the motivation of the target community to develop family medicinal plat processing. Method: The methods applied in this training include counseling on several theories that support the potential and composition of family medicinal plants, how to plant and process medicinal plants into various beverage processed products, suitable packaging methods, practice, and assistance. Community service activities are carried out through lectures and demonstrations. Results: The output produced from this activity include: (1) increased knowledge and skills of housewives regarding the use and processing of family medicinal plants, (2) increased knowledge of how to plant and pack good products, and (3) increased motivation for developing a business to use family medicinal plants. Conclusions: After the activity, there is an increase in knowledge and skills to develop a business to use family medicinal plants, their potential, and how to process them into healthy drink products, as well as proper packaging methods. In addition, this activity also increases the motivation of housewives who are participants to develop businesses in the field of beverage products based on family medicinal plants.

The Village

The community service provided in Karang Indah Village aims to disseminate and assist village officials in preparing archives. This activity involves students of the History Education study program as the implementation of archival and museum science. The preparation of archives, both manually and digitally, is very important for all agencies, especially in the village office. This is done, of course, to make it easier to serve the community. When needed, archives that have been well organized will be easy to find. Archives contain primary data and play an important role in the process of reconstructing history. The archive's position is so critical that it must be managed properly and appropriately. The implementation method consists of three steps: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The service activities have resulted in increased knowledge and skills among village officials in the preparation and management of archives, both manually and digitally.

ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan pembuatan website sekolah dengan menggunakan WordPress bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi dan pemahaman serta mengasah keterampilan Guru TIK di SMA Negeri 17 Palembang dalam membuat dan mengelola website. Terdapat tiga tahapan utama yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini antara lain tahap perencanaan yang dibagi menjadi studi lapangan, analisis kebutuhan serta perizinan, tahap kedua yaitu pelaksanaan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap evaluasi. Hasil evalusi terhadap kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan adalah pelatihan pembuatan website sekolah tersebut mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru TIK di SMA Negeri 17 Palembang dalam menghasilkan tampilan website sekolah yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Kata kunci: pengabdian kepada masyarakat; guru TIK; website; wordpress ABSTRACTCommunity service activities in the form of training on creating school websites using WordPress aim to improve competence and understanding as well as hone the skills of ICT Teachers at SMA Negeri 17 Palembang in creating and managing websites. The specific objectives and targets of these community service activities are to provide counseling on the rejuvenation of oil palm and the legality of farmers' land so that there is a change in the knowledge, understanding and skills of farmers who are members of farmer groups in an effort to want to rejuvenate oil palm plants and to provide an understanding of the importance of legality Farmer's land as an inseparable part of the structure of the requirements in order to get financial assistance to rejuvenate oil palm plants. The methods used are counseling, outreach, demonstration and assistance when the extension activities take place. Counseling methods provide counseling and conduct training after counseling. The demonstration method is carried out at the time of delivery of material. Farmers immediately practiced how to rejuvenate oil palm plants, after that they were given counseling about the ways and functions of farmers' land legality and farmer group institutions in order to get funds in groups. The assistance method aims to monitor developments after counseling to farmers by involving agents of change, namely community leaders, traditional leaders, the village government and banking institutions. ABSTRACTThe hijab sewing skills training program is seen as a strategic educational skill to be implemented for women because hijab sewing can be applied for their own needs or become a side business. This skill, if properly trained and mastered, can become a form of business that can help the family economy and create jobs for the community. The village community service activities were carried out in Bunsur Village, Sungai Apit Subdistrict, Siak Regency, Riau Province with the target audience is the housewives of the village. They have given basic knowledge in choosing materials for the hijab. Then skills trained was held, starting how to make pet and headscarves, cutting fabrics according to the patterns that have been made, and sewing headscarves with various existing patterns. Keterampilan ini bila dilatih dan dikuasai dengan baik dapat menjadi bentuk usaha yang dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga dan penciptaan lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat desa ini dilaksanakan di Desa Bunsur Kecamatan Sungai Apit Kabupaten Siak Propinsi Riau dengan khalayak sasarannya adalah Ibu-ibu rumah tangga desa tersebut. Mereka diberi pengetahuan dasar dalam memilih bahan untuk jilbab. Kemudian diadakan pelatihan keterampilan, mulai cara membuat pola pet dan jilbab, memotong kain sesuai dengan pola yang sudah dibuat, dan menjahit jilbab dengan bermacam pola yang telah ada. The availability of information and communication technology (ICT) has made it a lot of convenience in everything. An example is the existence of online trading transactions, for we can market these products online both through marketplaces and social media, we must-have products that are slightly different from the others. One way is to design your own product packaging that we will sell, and for example it can be started by making a product logo. Cassava is a type of plant that is easy to grow in various types of soil, and its cultivation method is relatively easy. The stems, leaves, and tubers of cassava have various benefits for human life. Limited knowledge and skills regarding the diversification of cassava-based processed products are an obstacle for which solutions must be sought. The purpose of this service activity is to empower the community, especially partners/target groups, through training on processing cassava into raw materials for processed food products. Community service activities carried out using training/mentoring and demonstrations/practices are one of the solutions that can be carried out for community empowerment. The results of community service activities show that all participants (100%) can actively participate in receiving all the knowledge and skills transferred and are interested in doing it themselves at home (100%). Processed products in the form of cassava flour will be consumed by themselves (77%) and sold (23%) with processed food products of cassava lunkhead (89%) and cassava noodles (11%), which were of high interest. This data shows that community service activities carried out by Palangka Raya University can contribute and become a solution to overcome problems faced by the community.

Abstrak   Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui bentuk kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pengolahan sampah di Desa Tempursari, Kecamatan Tempursari, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur pada tanggal 12-17 Juli 2017.  Permasalahan sampah menjadi permasalahan yang belakangan sangat banyak dikeluhkan oleh masyarakat secara khusus di desa Tempursari. Kerjasama yang solid antara semua stakeholder diharapkan dalam penanganan dan pemecahan permasalahan sampah ini, seperti yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Tempursari dengan kehadiran Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) yang menjadi fasilitator dalam penanganan sampah di desa Tempursari. Dalam rangka mengembangkan program yang sudah disusun dan akan dijalankan, GKJW bekersama dengan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta dalam beberapa hal terkait pengolahan sampah tersebut, di antaranya mensosialisasikan pemahaman tentang sampah (jenis dan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan), bagaimana mengolah sampah sesuai dengan jenisnya dan membantu mengoperasikan mesin pencacah sampah plastik dan sampah organik lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dinilai memberikan dampak positif, di mana mesin pencacah yang tadinya sudah lama tidak berfungsi menjadi beroperasi dengan operator yang yang sudah mahir atau fasih, masyarakat mampu memilah sampah dimulai dari tia-tiap rumah tangga sebelum selanjutnya diserahkan ke tim pengolah yang sudah ditunjuk oleh gereja. Akhirnya setelah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bersama dengan GKJW Tempursari, maka program pelayanan masyarakat melalui pengolahan sampah oleh GKJW Tempursari mulai berjalan lancar.   Kata Kunci: sampah organik, mesin pencacah   Abstract The community service activities were carried out through the form of socialization and training activities on waste management in Tempursari Village, Tempursari District, Lumajang Regency, East Java. The problem of garbage has become a very recent problem that is very much complained by the community specifically in the village of Tempursari. Solid cooperation between all stakeholders is expected in handling and solving these waste problems, as has been done by the people of Desa Tempursari with the presence of the Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) who became a facilitator in handling waste in the village of Tempursari. In order to develop a program that has been compiled and will be implemented, GKJW cooperates with the Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta in several matters related to waste management, including socializing understanding of waste (types and impacts), how to process waste according to its type and helping operate plastic waste chopping machines and other organic waste. The results of community service activities are considered to have a positive impact, where the enumerating machines that have not been functioning for a long time become operational with operators who are already proficient or fluent, the community is able to sort waste starting from each household before being submitted to the processing team who has been appointed by the church. Finally after the community service activities together with GKJW Tempursari, the community service program through processing waste by GKJW Tempursari began to run smoothly.   Keywords: organic waste, chopping machine

The problem faced by students is at the production stage, namely the problem of product labeling. Until now labeling was done simply or without labeling. If students can design their own product labels, of course this will add to the selling value of the product. The existence of labels and brochures also add value to the promotion of student products. The aim of this mentoring activity is to provide training and graphic design assistance to students of SMK. The steps of this community service activities are observations, socialization, graphic design training, assistance in making labels and brochures for student entrepreneurial products, as well as evaluating and reflecting on service activities. The result of this service activity was in the form of training and graphic design assistance for students. All of the activities was well done . This can be seen from the number of students who participated in training and mentoring for three days. In addition, there are positive responses from teachers and students that have an impact on the success of this graphic design training and assistance. This can be seen from the results of student designs that are attractive and can be used as a commercial tool.
