UTILIZATION OF BOOSTER CIRCUIT JOULE THIEF FOR GARDEN LIGHTING SOURCE OF VOLTAGE FROM THE SUN

Abstract: Garden lighting from a sun source utilizes a series of joule thieves so that the lighting of the garden lights at night is bright. This research method uses a quantitative method because it must be tested on each module so that it finds that there are three types of module systems to be combined, the booster or joule electronic thief module, the supply media solar module circuit, and finally, the control system with the Arduino nano board. The solar module used is a 1-watt solar module with 1n4004 diodes, which will convert the heat of sunlight into voltage. The voltage will be sent via the IC TP4056 input, the output from the IC TP4056 will charge the 18650 battery, which aims to ignite the booster circuit on the 12 W lamp, or the 3.7VDC input from the 18650 battery capable of turning on the 12W/220VAC led light. While the controller is connected to the LDR sensor and relay when the user makes the command, LDR > 800 of the provisions, the relay position from NC becomes open, or during the day, the relay will be in the NC position and turn off the 12W light in the booster circuit, while at night the relay will remain in the no position, so that it will connect the booster circuit voltage and turn on the 12W lamp (LDR < 800).Keywords: booster circuit; campus park lighting; solar panels  Abstrak: Penerangan taman dari sumber matahari memanfaatkan rangkaian joule thief agar penerangan lampu taman pada malam hari terang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dikarenakan harus diuji coba pada tiap modul, sehingga mendapati ada tiga jenis sistem modul yang akan digabungkan, modul elektronika rangkaian booster atau joule thief, rangkaian modul surya media pensuplly, dan terakhir sistem controller dengan board arduino nano. Modul surya yang digunakan modul surya 1 watt dengan dioda 1n4004, akan mengubah panas cahaya matahari menjadi tegangan . Tegangan akan dikirimkan melalui input IC TP4056, output dari IC TP4056 akan mengisi baterai 18650 yang bertujuan sebagai penyala rangkaian booster pada lampu 12 W, atau input 3.7VDC dari baterai 18650 mampu menyalakan lampu led 12W/220VAC. Sementara controller terhubung kesensor ldr dan relay, ketika perintah yang dibuat oleh user, ldr > 800 dari ketentuan, posisi relay dari nc menjadi open, atau siang hari, relay akan diposisi nc dan mematikan lampu 12W pada rangkaian booster, sementara jika malam hari relay akan diposisi no, sehingga akan menghubungkan tegangan rangkaian booster dan menyalakan lampu 12W (ldr < 800).  Kata kunci : panel surya, penerangan taman, rangkaian booster.

The sun is a source of energy that cannot be used up. Therefore, the utilization of solar energy must be a priority. With the many types of solar panels that have been developed, researchers conducted an analysis of 150 watt monocrystalline solar panels. The purpose of this study is to know the amount of current and voltage produced by solar panels in some conditions of the sky, namely cloudy, bright cloudy, and bright. The research method used was the experiment. From the data that has been obtained, it can be found that the energy produced by solar panels during cloudy ranges from 0.6-0.8 amperes, when it is cloudy, 0.9-1.9 amperes, and when bright 2.0-3.2 amperes. The amount of electrical energy that can be produced is 8%. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini  adalah merancang sistem kontrol lampu menggunakan remote untuk menyalakan dan memadamkan lampu, Penelitian ini dilakukan pada ruangan Direktur Akademi Ilmu Komputer (AIKOM) Ternate, Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Pustaka, Observasi, serta Rancangan Alat, Bahasa Pemrograman yang digunakan adalah Bahasa C, Perancangan alat terdiri dari pembuatan alat pengontol lampu dan komponen yang menunjang kerja sistem seperti Sistem pengontrol, Mikrokontroler ATMega 8535, relay, remote, dan lampu. Sistem control lampu yang dioperasikan dengan menggunakan remote control untuk menggerakkan relay sehingga lampu yang terhubung akan menyala dan padam. ABSTRAKPenyebaran Covid-19 dapat diminimalisir dengan bebeberapa cara diantaranya penyemprotan antiseptik. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan robot yang berguna meminimalisir penyebaran Covid-19 dengan sistem kontrol otomatis menggunakan Arduino Uno R3 serta panel surya yang dikoneksikan dengan sistem IoT (Internet Of Things). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yang terdiri dari empat tahapan: 1). Mendesain (merancang) alat, 2). Tahapan pembuatan alat, 3). Tahapan ujicoba alat, 4) Tahapan analisis alat. Ketika ada benda yang berada pada titik atau jarak tertentu maka sensor ultrasonik akan mendeteksinya dan akan mengirimkan sinyal ke mikrokontroler selanjutnya robot akan bekerja kembali seuai perintah dari android. Hasil pengujian saat ada obstacle dengan nilai v= 11,40 Volt di dapat nilai acuan pengukuran dan nilai hasil pengkuruan memiliki nilai rentang error tertinggi pada saat nilai acuan 55 cm dan nilai hasil pengukuran 52 cm. Pengujian RPM pada roda kiri posisi (maju) nilai tertinggi sebesar 40,0 RPM dan roda kanan 39,7 RPM.Kata kunci: Arduino, robot, android, IoT, Covid-19, panel surya ABSTRACTThe spread of Covid-19 can be minimized in several ways, including spraying antiseptics. The purpose of this research is to produce a robot that is useful for minimizing the spread of Covid-19 with an automatic control system using Arduino Uno R3 and solar panels that are connected to the IoT (Internet Of Things) system. This study uses a research method consisting of four stages: 1). Designing (designing) tools, 2). Stages of making tools, 3). Stages of testing tools, 4) Stages of tool analysis. When there is an object that is at a certain point or distance, the ultrasonic sensor will detect it and will send a signal to the microcontroller then the robot will work again according to the command from the android. The test results when there is an obstacle with a value of v = 11.40 Volts the measurement reference value is obtained and the measurement result value has the highest error range value when the reference value is 55 cm and the measurement value is 52 cm. The Emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and job satisfaction to be part of the factors that influence performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable partially and simultaneously. This study also aimed to determine the effect of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable directly and indirectly. This study was conducted to 77 respondents employees of PT. Madu Baru, Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative method uses statistical analysis and descriptive. The results of this study are (1) there is a significant effect of emotional intelligence on employee job satisfaction. (2) there is a significant influence of spiritual intelligence on employee job satisfaction. (3) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on job satisfaction. (4) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence on employee performance. (5) There is a significant relationship between spiritual intelligence on employee performance. (6) There is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance. (7) There is a significant relationship between job satisfaction on employee performance. (8) There is an indirect effect of emotional intelligence on the performance of employees through job satisfaction. (9) There is the indirect influence of spiritual intelligence on the performance of employees through job satisfaction. The research aims to determine the level of difficulty and differentiation of the exam on the middle semester of the subjects of the Physics class XI MIA 3 in MAN 2 Langsa. The research method used is a descriptive quantitative method. The results showed that for the difficulty level was obtained 13 questions (43.33%) Easy, 17 questions (56.66%) Medium and 0 problem (0%) Difficult. The results of the analysis of the differentiator power about 10 questions (33.33%) Received, 16 questions (53.33%) Discarded and 4 questions (13.33%) Fixed. Overall about the middle semester exam of physics subjects in class XI MIA 3 in MAN 2 Langsa year 2018/2019 is categorized as a good question, because it has the largest percentage of difficulty level in the category of moderate problems, namely as many as 17 questions (56.66%) And the largest percentage of the differentiator's power in the category of questions received 10 questions (33.33%).

The purpose of this researchment is to ascertain how wide the farming of species Saccharun Edule Hasskarl (terubuk) in sub district Tosa, district of East Tidore of Tidore Island through the indicator of the value revenue, production and selling prices so that the farmers will achieve The Break Event Point (BEP). The research method was used a quantitative method with the number of samples of 30 people. The determination of the sample method is using the census method or involving all members of the population into a sample of researchment. The secondary data collection was done by using library literature in the form of document review and relevant references to research object while primary data collection was done by using questionnaire. The data is using equation R /C Ratio, BEP Revenue, BEP Price, and BEP Production. Therefore from the results of the researchment it can be explained that the two of the thirty farmers come through the break event point, while the other twenty-eight farmers declared having a business that worth to be develop or experiencing profit, because the R/C ratio is above 1.0 with average profit reach Rp. 989.000, - per production / farmer.

The modern level of agriculture is described by the introduction of renewable energy sources. New generation sprinkler machines are being put into production, in the power system of which solar panels are used. One of the factors that negatively affect the performance of solar cells in an open field is their dusting, which is formed as a result of dust storms and wind. Cleaning of the battery panels is carried out in various ways: manual, semi-automatic and automatic. Dust cleaning is included in maintenance. (Research purpose) The research purpose is to determine the conditions for performing the maintenance, which consists in cleaning solar panels in the field. (Materials and methods) Theoretical (analysis, hypothesis design), empirical (observation, testing), experimental (ascertaining experiment) methods has been used during research. (Results and discussion) The article describes an introduced parameter for estimating the level of dusting. The power loss indicator shows the ratio of the power of the dusted module to the power of the clean module. Unscheduled maintenance is affected by the distance of the solar module from the repair point, the power of the solar module, the loss from dusting, the frequency of maintenance and cost indicators. (Conclusions) It has been found the dependence of maintenance period of the solar module of the sprinkler machine on the distance to the sprinkler machine, to the point of maintenance and repair, the power loss coefficient in case of dusting of the solar module, the cost of performing maintenance, as well as the frequency of maintenance. Article describes the boundaries of the choice of operating mode of the sprinkler between unscheduled maintenance for cleaning the solar module and the acceptance of additional power of the sprinkler power supply system according to the criterion of minimum operating costs.

This paper presents the development of the UPMSat-2 sun sensor, from the design to on-orbit operation. It also includes the testing of the instrument, one of the most important tasks that needs to be performed to operate a sensor with precision. The UPMSat-2 solar sensor has been designed, tested, and manufactured at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) using 3D printing and COTS (photodiodes). The work described in this paper was carried out by students and teachers of the Master in Space Systems (Máster Universitario en Sistemas Espaciales—MUSE). The solar sensor is composed of six photodiodes that are divided into two sets; each set is held and oriented on the satellite by its corresponding support printed in Delrin. The paper describes the choice of components, the electrical diagram, and the manufacture of the supports. The methodology followed to obtain the response curve of each photodiode is simple and inexpensive, as it requires a limited number of instruments and tools. The selected irradiance source was a set of red LEDs and halogen instead of an AM0 spectrum irradiance simulator. Some early results from the UPMSat-2 mission have been analyzed in the present paper. Data from magnetometers and the attitude control system have been used to validate the data obtained from the sun sensor. The results indicate a good performance of the sensors during flight, in accordance with the data from the ground tests.

This study has developed street lamp lighting device material that was turned on and off by self-power supply without additional power by using the rays of the sun. Lighting devices have been applied with polycarbonate materials that were outstanding with light transmissivity while using LED light and economic value. Lighting devices are easily installed in various places since external power is not necessary. In addition, it also serves as a function of preventing crime by acquiring intensity of illumination in crime-ridden district in the night. Lighting device can also serve as a function of improving fine view in the city by establishing eco-friendly circumstances including parks, areas around shopping district, and housing areas after being manufactured in the form of flowerpot where can grow plants in the future.

The intelligent lighting control system is one of typical applications of the Internet of things. The method of intelligent lighting control system based on industrial wireless technology is proposed in the paper. It used proposed three-point-control technology, and adjusting the brightness of lamps, turn on/off the lamps and a part of fault detection can be realized. At the same time, it can greatly reduce the cost of system. It will be useful to engineer and researchers.
