The goal of this study was to develop an excretion system module in Biology subjects to stimulate the understanding of the concepts of high school students. The research method refers to the steps of research and Development. The research begins by analyzing the need of the excretory system material to be used as a learning resource for students. The trial module was limited to 20 high school students in Kepahiang District who had received excretion system material. The result showed that the ability to understand the concepts of students varied greatly, the ability to understand the concepts of students was mostly in the good category (35%), and sufficient (65%). The ability of students in aspect of understanding an idea, translating relationship that exist in a symbol, illustration, map, diagram, table, graph, has been well developed (translation). The ability to develop and obtain information that is not explicitly listed from the referenced source has been well developed (interpretation), and the ability to predict or give an idea of something based on trends that apper in the data that has not been well developed (extrapolation). In summary, the excretory system learning module is capable of stimulating the ability to understand the concept of students in terms of classical values.

The purpose of the study is to improve teacher performance in SMA Negeri 4 Lubuklinggau, how is the principle of increasing teacher permormance. The research method used is descriptive study, observation and documentation, and this study also uses a type of procedure to develop materials. The results of research on principals have implemented leadership strategies well, by discussing the conditions and conditions of teachers, creativity in applying leadership styles, having tips and having motivations that improve to improve teacher performance. The conclusion of this study is that this study is used to improve the performance of high school students, and have high motivation to improve teacher performance. <p><em>This study investigates whether teaching spelling to high school students using different techniques, i.e. copy, cover, compare and flip folder, would improve students’ spelling. Additionally, it explores students’ opinions and perceptions towards these techniques. The research conducted in Granada high school in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Thirty-six male students participated in this study whose levels according to the course book were assumed to be B1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In this study, a mixed research method was used where data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The first group was taught using copy cover and compare method (CCC), which emphasizes repeated practice when errors occur in students spelling, whereas the second group was trained using the flip folder technique which is a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic techniques that were believed to enhance memorization. A post-test was utilized immediately after the intervention and the results showed that the CCC group outperformed the Flip Folder group. </em></p>

ABSTRACT The concept of humanistic education is education that has principles to humanize humans such as education that explores, respects, serves, and helps students develop their potential with the aim of making students a generation that is intelligent, religious and has good character. Education has many obstacles and very complex problems. Various factors including the development of science and technology have led to changes in the behavior of adolescents, especially high school students, who commit crimes such as immoral crimes and so on. This moral degradation causes PAI teachers to try to educate students not to be carried away by the current of modernization which has a negative impact by instilling religious values. However, in reality, many people think that PAI is not important. A different phenomenon occurs in one high school in Lumajang City, namely SMAN 1 Lumajang. Where students really like PAI lessons because learning PAI at school is carried out with a humanistic approach. This journal discusses the implementation of the humanistic approach in Islamic Education lessons and also the constraints and reasons for using humanistic theory in Islamic Education learning. The research method used is qualitative research methods. Keywords: Approach, Humanistic, Pendidikan Agama Islam ABSTRAK Konsep pendidikan humanistik adalah pendidikan yang memiliki prinsip untuk memanusiakan manusia seperti pendidikan yang menggali, menghargai, melayani, dan membantu siswa mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki dengan tujuan agar siswa menjadi generasi yang cerdas, religius dan berakhlakul karimah. Pendidikan banyak mengalami kendala dan permasalahan yang amat komplek. Berbagai faktor termasuk perkembangan IPTEK menyebabkan perubahan tingkah laku remaja khususnya siswa/siswi SMA banyak melakukan tindak kriminalitas seperti kejahatan asusila dan sebagainya. Degradasi moral inilah yang menyebabkan guru PAI berusaha untuk mendidik murid agar tidak terbawa dengan arus modernisasi yang membawa dampak negatif dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Namun pada kenyataannya banyak yang menganggap pelajaran PAI itu tidak penting. Fenomena berbeda terjadi pada salah satu SMA di Lumajang yaitu SMA Negeri 1 Lumajang. Dimana para siswa sangat menyukai pelajaran PAI karena pembelajaran PAI disekolah tersebut dilakukan dengan pendekatan humanistik. Jurnal ini membahas mengenai implementasi pendekatan humanistik pada pelajaran PAI dan juga kendala serta alasan menggunakan teori humanistik dalam pembelajaran PAI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Kata Kunci : Pendekatan, Humanistik, Pendidikan Agama Islam

This research aimed to find out the influence of students’ interests in choosing the mechanical engineering vocational program. The research method used was descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all Grade X students in Yogyakarta which total number were 180 respondents. The data collecting technique was using questionnaires which then was analyzed using descriptive analysis and regression. The results of this study were (1) Students’ interests in choosing mechanical engineering vocational program was high. (2) There was a positive and significant influence from students’ own understanding, family, school, and society towards students’ interests in choosing the mechanical engineering vocational program, (3) The four variables, together, have positive and significant influences towards vocational high school students’ interests in choosing the mechanical engineering vocational program in Yogyakarta..

<div align="center"><table width="645" border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" width="439"><p><strong>Abstract:</strong> This study was aimed to develop a valid biology learning module based on SQ4R model as a learning material for high school students. This study adapted the ADDIE model. The validity of the module was known from the expert validation scores and student responses. The results showed that the validation scores from module expert was 85.45% (valid), material experts was 97.5% (very valid), field practitioners was 98.1% (very valid) and very good student responses with score of 94.96%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the developed biology learning module based on SQ4R model is classified as valid and practical to be used in the learning process as learning material for high school students.</p><p class="Abstract"><strong>Abstrak:</strong><em> </em>Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran biologi berbasis model SQ4R yang layak digunakan sebagai bahan belajar untuk siswa SMA. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE. Kelayakan modul diketahui dari skor validasi para ahli dan respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perolehan skor validasi ahli bahan ajar sebesar 85,45% (layak), ahli materi sebesar 97,5% (sangat layak), praktisi lapangan sebesar 98,1% (sangat layak) serta respon siswa yang sangat baik dengan perolehan nilai sebesar 94,96%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran Biologi berbasis model SQ4R yang dikembangkan tergolong layak dan praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran sebagai bahan belajar untuk siswa SMA.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>

This research is to know the values of religious character in the novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri by Suyatna Pamungkas to build the character of high school students. The goal of this research is the formation of the religious character of high school students through the novel in the novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri by Suyatna Pamungkas. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The technique of writing this data using content analysis. The results of this study First, the results of the discourse analysis found that describes the education of religious characters in the novel Mahamimmpi Anak Negeri Suyatna Pamungkas. Both discussions about the religious character of high school students through interviews with teachers.

Gastritis is a digestive problem that often occurs in adolescents, mostly attacking students and students. Gastritis is inflammation of the gastric mucosa. This study aims to determine the incidence of gastricitis in Muhammadyah 3 Masaran High School. The research method used was descriptive observational research. The population in the study were all students of Muhammadyah 3 Masaran High School. The sample research technique is total sampling where all members of the population are sampled. Results Identification of the incidence of gastritis in Muhammadyah High School 3 Masaran of 52 respondents who experienced gastritis as many as 27 respondents (51.9%). Gastritis is suffered a lot by high school students who are classified as teenagers because of irregular eating, so that it will disrupt the daily activities of high school students. Conclusion most of Muhammadyah 3 High School students in Masaran have gastritis. This research suggests students increasingly know the incidence of gastritis, causes and signs of symptoms so as to avoid the causes of gastritis.

This study aims to develop environmental-based worksheets to increase motivation and interest in learning for high school students and a description of students' learning difficulties in biology class X SMA Negeri 7 Lubuklinggau. The research method used is Research and development. The sample of this research is 30 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations and documents. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the LKPD developed was suitable for use by high school students of Class X and there were difficulties in learning biology on environmental pollution materials. This learning difficulty is caused by the difficulty in understanding the material presented in the teaching materials. In addition, learning difficulties experienced by students are also triggered by low learning motivation caused by not being interested in biology lessons, inappropriate teaching techniques, facilities and infrastructure, and inadequate learning resources
