AbstractIn determining the learning design teachers must pay attention to learning models that fit the needs of students, so they can help the learning process that is good, effective and efficient. This study aims to illustrate the use of instructional design model learning in PAI materials at MI Darul Hidayah Tirtoyudo, describe the obstacles faced by the use of convincing design learning models on PAI material, and describe solutions to overcome the obstacles encountered. The method used is a qualitative approach to the type of evaluation research, while data collection techniques use observation and interviews. The results of this study are: 1) the use of design learning models assure strongly supports the teaching and learning process and can motivate students to increase their potential, 2) the obstacle faced is the presence of some students who are lazy to learn so they need supervision additional to the teacher, there are delays ABK students in understanding the subject matter, 3) solutions to overcome obstacles namely, teachers can work together with psychologists in order to find out the cause of student laziness, so they can find solutions. While solutions for special needs students can be handled by teachers through a comprehensive learning approach.Keywords: Design, Instructional, Model Assure AbstrakDalam menentukan desain pembelajaran guru harus memperhatikan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, sehingga mereka dapat membantu proses pembelajaran yang baik, efektif dan efisien. Kajian ini bertujuan menggambarkan penggunaan pembelajaran desain model instruksional dalam bahan PAI di MI Darul hidayah Tirtoyudo, menggambarkan kendala yang dihadapi dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran desain yang meyakinkan pada materi PAI, serta menggambarkan solusi untuk mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif terhadap jenis penelitian evaluasi, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pengamatan dan wawancara. Hasil studi ini adalah: 1) penggunaan model pembelajaran assure sangat mendukung proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran dan dapat memotivasi siswa untuk meningkatkan potensi mereka, 2) hambatan yang dihadapi adalah kehadiran beberapa siswa yang malas untuk belajar sehingga mereka membutuhkan pengawasan tambahan dari guru, ada penundaan siswa ABK dalam memahami materi pelajaran , 3) solusi untuk mengatasi rintangan yaitu, guru dapat bekerja sama dengan psikolog dalam rangka untuk mengetahui penyebab kemalasan siswa, sehingga mereka dapat menemukan solusi. Sementara solusi bagi siswa ABK dapat ditangani oleh guru melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang komprehensif.Kata Kunci: Desain, Instruksional, Model Assure

The theater consists of one of the languages of the Art that implies the interpretation of stories for an audience and can be used in the school with a pedagogical function, serving as a subsidy for the corporal and cultural development of the children. The subject who has the chance to participate in theatrical activities can develop the critical ability to evaluate impressions of the outer and inner world, related to the real and the imaginary. The Physical Education and other curriculum disciplines can use theater as a facilitator of the teaching and learning process, a factor not yet found in the country's curriculum. Given these assumptions, the purpose of this study is to present theater as a didactic resource and facilitator of the teaching and learning process. It was adopted as a method a qualitative approach, with a bibliographic character, and it was concluded that the theater can contribute in a significant way with the overall development of the child.

Writing is sometimes neglected taught by the teacher due to the limitation of the time provided. Besides, in teaching writing, teacher tends to avoid the religious values in teaching writing persuasive text in order to build students’ character. However, students are required to master writing in order to express the idea or information in communication. Therefore, this  study  is an attempt to study the religious values in teaching writing persuasive text. The population of this study was  all of the eleventh graders of SMA Negeri 1 Kandis  Ogan Ilir. The samples were chosen by purposive sampling method.  As a result, two classes consisting of thirty students  in each classes were selected as the samples. The qualitative approach was used in this study and  observation  is the main instrument used to get the  data about the process of teaching writing persuasive text. The observation done from the beginning to ending of  teaching and learning process of writing persuasive text. Based on the observation, it was indicated  that the students were interested in learning writing persuasive text and got some religious values to build their characters. In addition, the students were eager to write persuasive text because of interesting materials. They could explore their idea freely by writing the main information and writing information explaining the religious values in writing persuasive text. By teaching writing persuasive text including the religious values, hopefully the teacher of English can select the material and content of the subject matter which infused the religious values during the classroom.

The background of this research is that in the teaching and learning process MTs Nurul Huda has applied rewards. The application of rewards is a means to encourage students to improve students' questioning skills in the learning process. The objectives of this research are: to find out whether the implementation of rewards can improve Questioning Skills in the subject of Islamic Cultural History for class VIII MTs Nurul Huda. This study uses a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers and students. Collecting data in this research using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study are to give rewards to students, generate or foster enthusiasm for students' curiosity about learning so that students ask a lot of questions. The visualization concept and multimedia is commonly used in designing various learning methods in education. However, less study was conducted for Fundamental of Computer Science (FCS) subjects especially in STEM education approach. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the content of design learning module for the subject of secondary two-topic Algorithms. The study uses a qualitative approach by interviewing five experts with related educational background to validate the content of the module. The findings show positive responses from those experts regarding applied visualization and multimedia suggesting some modifications be done for teaching and learning environment in the future. In conclusion, this study conclusively improvises design learning module for FCS subject by enhancing STEM education aligned with the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025.

The objective of this study was to investigate whether the application of Teams-Games-Tournament Technique improve the students achievement in Speaking. This study was an classroom action research. The subject of this study was class XI IPA 3 SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran which consists of 35 students. The study was conducted in two cycles, cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II was consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were quantitative (oral speaking test) and qualitative data (observation sheet and diary note). Based on speaking scores, students’ score kept improving in every evaluation and based on observation sheet and diary note, it was found that teaching and learning process ran well. Students could enlarge their thinking process. The result of this study showed that Teams-Games-Tournament improved students’ achievement in speaking.

This study attempts to improve students’ vocabulary achievement through Clustering Technique. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of the research was class VIII-B SMP Katolik Trisakti 2 Medan that consisted of 32 students. The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were vocabulary tests for quantitative data and diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet for qualitative data. Students’ score kept improving in every test. In the first cycle test, the mean of vocabulary score was 64.68. And in the second cycle test, the mean of vocabulary score was 79.85. Based on diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet, teaching and learning process had done effectively showed the improvement. Every student was studied actively. And from the research can be concluded that Clustering Technique can improve students’ achievement in vocabulary.

<span lang="EN-US">The success of teaching and learning activities can be known from the results of teacher performance in preparing character-based lesson plans and implementing them in the teaching and learning process in class. This school action research aims to see whether there is an increase in the ability of teachers in developing character-based lesson plans and their implementation in teaching and learning process. This research uses 2 cycles. The research procedure has four stages of activities</span><span lang="IN"> are</span><span lang="EN-US">, planning, action, observation and evaluation</span><span lang="IN">,</span><span lang="EN-US"> and reflecting. The study was conducted at SDN 07 Situjuah Gadang. The subject of the research is the class teacher and subject teacher, which totals 7 </span><span lang="IN">teachers.</span><span lang="EN-US"> Data processing using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.</span><span lang="EN-US">Based on the results of data analysis that has been stated, that the data obtained from observing the ability of teachers to prepare character-based lesson plans in cycle I and cycle II there is an increase in the ability of teachers in preparing character-based lesson plans.</span>

It influenced the internalization of Islamic Educationvalues to students. According to the above background, contextual approach was assumed to create amore meaningful and effective teaching and learning process. The study revealed that most teachersdeveloped instructional material merely based on Teacher Association for Islamic EducationReference, a discrepancy between lesson plan and the implementation was found due to insufficienttime and too-much material, and a problem in applying various methods was found due to student’sbasic competence diversity ranging from the 75-80% to 20-25% mastery creating less conduciveatmosphere for effective teaching and learning process. AbstrakPembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menurut kurikulum 2013. Pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Guru SMK harus mampu mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menghasilkan aspek keterampilan kerja. Salah satu masalah paling kritis dalam proses belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah keengganan dan kreativitas guru yang kurang untuk menemukan cara agar pembelajaran lebih kreatif dan menyenangkan. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa tentang suatu materi yang telah diajarkan dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru harus memberikan tugas kepada siswa. Penugasan dapat dilakukan dengan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam desain deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan tiga guru Bahasa Inggris SMK di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Provinsi Riau sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek perlu dilakukan oleh guru di kelas Bahasa Inggris sebagai salah satu model dalam proses belajar mengajar karena berfokus pada siswa.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Persepsi Guru, dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. AbstractProject-based learning is one of the recommended learning models to be used in learning according to the 2013 curriculum. The implementation of the learning process in Vocational High Schools have different characteristics from the implementation of learning in Senior High Schools. Vocational high school teachers must be able to develop learning models that can produce aspects of work skills. One of the most critical problems in teaching and learning English at Vocational High School is teachers’ unwillingness and less creativity to find ways to make learning more creative and fun. To find out what extent students understand about the material that has been taught in the teaching and learning process, the teachers must give assignments to the students. The assignments can be done with the model Project-Based Learning. The aim of this study was to investigate how teachers’ perception about project-based learning. This research conducted in descriptive qualitative design which involved three vocational high school English teachers in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province as respondents. This research used semi-structured interview as an instrument to collect the data. The result of the analysis showed that teachers have positive perception toward project-based learning. This article aim to analyze Ibn Khaldun's thoughts on education and its relevance to modern world education. This research uses qualitative approach (Library Research) by analyzing the sources collected and summarized in the article. Result this research shows that education is not only a teaching and learning process that is limited by time and space, but education is a process where students are able to live, absorb and even capture natural events throughout the ages. Ibn Khaldun's thoughts are also very relevant to modern education when viewed from various aspects, namely educators, learning methods, curriculum and educational goals. Positive impact What is expected from the results of this study is the adoption of the concept of Modern Education with the Concept of Education according to Ibn Khaldun.
