The combination of hypnobreastfeeding and acupressure is considered to be effective in reducing anxiety and pain levels. Objective: This study aims to examine the effect of combination of hypnobreastfeeding and acupressure on anxiety and pain levels in post-caesarean mothers. Methods: This study was a true experiment with pretest-posttest control group design, conducted in the Ambarawa Public Hospital on 5 November to 9 December 2016. There were 36 participants selected using stratified random sampling, with 18 assigned in the experiment and control group. Data were analyzed using paired t-test and wilcoxon test. Results: There were statistically significant differences of anxiety and pain levels before and after intervention in the experiment and control group with p-value 0.001 (<0.05).Conclusion: The combination of hypnobreastfeeding and acupressure has a significant effect in reducing anxiety and pain levels in post-cesarean mothers. This intervention could be applied as an alternative therapy in treating post-caesarean mothers.

This research is a quasi-experimental research pre post control group design and only post control group design with T test and Chi Square test. Paired T Test results of the intervention group (mean difference = 3.111, P value = 0.000, control group (mean difference = 0.833, P value = 0.318). Independent T Test results obtained (average difference = -1.944, P value = 0.024), Chi Square test obtained a value of P = 0.73. There is a difference in the average anxiety before and after the intervention in the intervention group, there is no difference in average anxiety before and after the intervention in the control group. There is a difference in the average anxiety between the intervention and control groups. Hypertension is increased blood pressure in the artery. Signs and indication arise from this disease are a dizzy, headache, pain in the nape of the neck (neck pain), easily angered, and hard to breathe. This neck pain can offend essential hypertension in daily patient activities. One of the non-pharmacological actions to decrease or overcome the neck pain is by a warm compress. The warm compress is giving a sense of warm/heat in a certain area. This research is purposed to find out the influence of warm compress towards neck pain in essential hypertension patients. This research is carried out in Puskesmas Depok I area, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Type of this research is quasi-experiment with pre-test post-test with control group design. Several samples consist of 40 respondents and divided into two groups, which are 20 respondents of the intervention group and 20 respondents of the control group. Statistic test used in this research is Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests. Before applying pre-test, 12 respondents (60%) are having moderate pain, and after giving warm compress (post-test), 17 respondents (75%) are having minor pain. There is a significant scale of neck pain before and after the warm compress treatment (p-value = 0,003) as well as contrast scale of neck pain between intervention group and control group (p-value = 0,000). There is the influence of warm compress towards neck pain in essential hypertension patients in Puskesmas Depok I area, Sleman, Yogyakarta.

Background: Anxiolytic premedication can reduce anxiety, improving procedural tolerance, and reduce postbronchoscopic complications. There was ongoing debate about the safety of bronchoscopist-administered sedation. Alprazolam as a surgical premedication can reduce anxiety. Alprazolam can be used as an adjuvant analgesic, to reduce anxiety-related breathlessness, and to reduce coughing as adjuvant antitussive. The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of alprazolam in patients undergoing bronchoscopy. Methods: A clinical study with experimental quasi pre-post test control group design, using consecutive sampling was performed in patients with lung tumor undergoing bronchoscopy in dr.Moewardi Hospital from February to March 2019. The study subjects were divided in experimental (alprazolam) and control groups (without alprazolam). The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS), VAS for pain score, modified Borg score, and VAS for cough were measured in baseline, before, and after bronchoscopy. Results: Thirty two lung subjects were included in this study. The intervention groups showed decreased HADS score pre and post bronchoscopy (6.56±2.83 and 6.88±2.63), pain VAS scores (15.00±10.95 and 9.69±11.61), cough VAS score (11.56±8.89 and 27.19±17.89), and these were different significantly compared to control group. We found decreased mean of modified Borg in the study group though they were not significant compared to the control group. Conclusion: Alprazolam controlled anxiety, coughing, and pain in patients undergoing bronchoscopy. Alprazolam minimized breathlessness after bronchoscopy. (J Respir Indo. 2019; 39(4): 245-55)

Batik maked process especially mbironi, is done in sit position. If this position maintained for a long period, that could be cause muscle strain which may lead into musculoskeletal disorders. The research was aim to know the effect of Workplace Stretching Exercise (WSE) to reduced MSDs in hand-made batik workers. The research was quasy experimental by non-equivalent control group design. Subjects were 37 female handmade batik workers used purposive sampling. Data analysis used Friedman test and Wilcoxon test, then for two independent sample used Independent t Test and Mann Whitney test with significancy level at 5% or a = 0,05. Analysis result show that there is no difference in MSDs on experiment and control group after pre-test which had p-value = 0,371 (>0,05). The result of middle-test and post-test p value = 0,000 (<0,05) that there is significant mean difference of MSDs between experiment and control group. Based on the middle-test and post-test analysis result, it could be conclude that there is an effect of WSE to reduce MSDs of handmade batik workers.

Young women often feel primary dysmenorrhoea because the hormonal cycles experienced are not stable, this can disrupt the concentration and activity of young women. The principle of back to nature is increasingly popular today, the side effects of chemical drugs can cause new problems, it is one of the driving force of the development of traditional medicine. Papaya leaves contain Vitamin E which can reduce dysmenorrhea. In addition, turmeric acids also contain curcumine and anthocyanins that inhibit cyclooxygenase, thereby reducing the occurrence of inflammation during uterine contractions. The aim of this research is to know the effectiveness of papaya leaf stew with acidic turmeric to primary dysmenorrhea. Type of Research is an experimental study with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design design. The sample is 30 people. The research was conducted on December 27, 2017 s.d February 24, 2018 at SMP Negeri 46 Palembang. Instrument to measure pain Numeric Rating Scale. The statistical test used by Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney U. Average score of pain before papaya leaves stem 5.40 ± 0.73 while the mean score of pain after given turmeric acid 5.33 ± 0.61 The mean score of pain after being given papaya leaves stew 3.60 ± 0.91 while the mean score of pain after given turmeric acid 4.06 ± 0.79. There was a difference of mean score of dysmenorrhea pain before and after given papaya leaf stem p value = 0.000. There is difference of mean score of dysmenorrhea pain before and after given turmeric acid p value = 0,002. There was no difference of mean score of dysmenorrhea pain before and after given papaya leaf sting and turmeric acid p value = 0,217. The decoction of papaya leaf and turmeric acid have the same effectiveness in reducing primary dysmenorrhea pain.
