Whereas the advent of interactive TV has been discussed as one of the key added values of digitization and convergence of “old” and “new media” for years, current marketing strategies of the big players in the Dutch telecommunications market avoid the term interactivity. Providers promise users “more fun” and increased ease of media consumption when connected digitally to the media world by offering broadband Internet, cable television, and telephone services in one package. They aim at another added quality of interactive media consumption: gaining access to the living room means gaining access to consumption patterns that can be traced back to the individual consumer. This article discusses media convergence and the current development of interactive television in the context of the reconfiguration of the relation between producers and consumers in the new online economy.

The purpose of this research was designed to: (1) develop sensor trainers that fit the needs of the control system subjects (2) develop sensor trainer with good performance, and (3) test the feasibility of sensor miner as media learning for control system learning at Surabaya Merchant Marine Polytechnic. This study was a Research and Development (R&D) in the field of education. The development research model used was ADDlE: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire with a four answer Likertscale. The validity test of the instrument was carried out by consulting with material experts and media experts. Instrument reliability was calculated using the alpha formula and produced a reliability value of 0.87 (very reliable). There are three aspects measured at this implementation stage, namely aspects of material quality, media operations, and learning aspects. The results obtained were for the quality of the material got a percentage of 78.76°/c, for media operations got 68,77°/c, and for learning got a percentage of 76.35°/c. Of the three percentages, a total percentage of 76,62°/c was obtained, so that the media trainer censor was declared feasible to be used as a learning media for the control system course after the feasibility test was conducted by theuser

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of flash interactive media in improving students' understanding of concepts in elementary schools. This type of research was mixed methods with an embedded experimental model design. Quantitative data analysis techniques on the variable understanding of the concept, namely the results of the analysis of the students' pretest and posttest questions by using paired sample t-test. The results of the analysis are then triangulated with the qualitative Focus Group Discussion (FGD) data and the results of the interviews. This study involved 54 students who were selected by using the nonprobability sampling technique: purposive sampling. The population consists of 31 public schools and 13 private schools. The results of this study show a significant increase in the concept of understanding in the form of an increase in the average score understanding of concepts by 17.82%. According to questionnaire data that has been distributed, teachers and students respond very well to learning using the flash interactive media. Students' motivation to learn accompanies an increase in their understanding of concepts. It appears that the application of flash interactive media in science learning has a positive impact on increasing motivation that has an impact on increasing students' conceptual understanding.
