Vaginal discharge is often not taken seriously by the teens when it could be an indication of disease. Vaginal discharge is a second problem after menstrual disorders. It is very uncomfortable, itchy, smelly and sometimes sore. Betel leaves boiled water to wash the vagina can reduce vaginal discharge because it contains essential oils that consist of betlephenol, kavicol, sidquiterpan, hydroxycicvicol, cavibetol, estragol, eugenol, and carvacol. The objective of this research is to describe the effect of betel leaves extract on the occurrence of flour albus on teenagers of SMA 3 west Seram western Seram regency 2015. It is a quantitative research by using quasy-experiment design to determine the existence of vaginal discharge (pre-test) and examine the effectiveness of the betel leaves extract after treatment (post-test). The sample were 18 respondents with observation sheet given. Research result shows that 13 of 18 respondents who experienced vaginal discharge cured after being treated in the form of betel leaves extract. It can be concluded that vaginal discharge before and after the treatment is given for the provision of betel leaves extract is different or experience the healing significantly. This article focused on the effectiveness of Number Head Together in teaching writing in the EFL Classroom. The aim of the study was to improve EFL students’ writing. This study was quantitative research and used an experimental design. The population was 30 students and the sample was 15 students. Purposive sampling was used in determining the sample of the study. The writing test was the instrument used to collect the data. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test to test the hypothesis. The students' instrument was an essay-informed descriptive text. Furthermore, the researchers used pre and post to compare scores before and after implied Number Head Together. The mean score of the pre-test was 49.06 at p = 1.364 and the post-test was 78.40 at p = 1.576 which was higher than 0.05 (as the standard significance level in SPSS). This value showed the differences before and after implementing Number Head Together. Hence, it can be concluded that Number Head Together was significantly effective in teaching writing in the tenth graders of Public Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Janapria, Indonesia. Trimester III is the period of pregnancy which is calculated from the gestational age of the 28th week to the 40th week. Psychological changes in pregnant women are estimated to occur 80%. third trimester. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of hypnobirthing, yoga and pregnancy exercise on the anxiety level of third trimester pregnant women at BPM Griya Bunda Ceria in 2020. Research method: quantitative research, using the shapiro wilt test method with pre-test and post-test approaches. in this study were all third trimester pregnant women who checked their pregnancy at BPM Griya Bunda Ceria Palembang. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by means of observation using a questionnaire sheet. The results: obtained from a total of 15 respondents. Based on the results of the Shapiro Wilt test, the p-Value is 0.05 where >α = 0.05 means that there is a significant influence between before and after hypnobirthing is done.statistically, the p-Value is 0,000, meaning that there is a significant effect between before and after yoga. Thus the hypothesis which states that there is an effect of yoga on the anxiety level of pregnant women in the third trimester which is statistically proven based on the paired shapiro wilt test, the p-Value is 0.00 in yoga, p-Value is 0.00 in pregnancy exercise, and the statistical test results are said to be related if the value The calculated p-Value <= 0.05 then Ho is rejected, meaning that it is significant, so the conclusion is that the two variables have a relationship, on the contrary, if the calculated p-Value> = 0.05, then Ho is accepted, meaning that the two variables have no significant relationship.

Ketika mempelajari bahasa Jepang di sekolah, aspek dasar yang harus dipelajari siswa adalah huruf Jepang. Dalam sistem penulisan, bahasa Jepang memiliki empat huruf, yaitu huruf kanji, hiragana, katakana, dan roomaji. Tetapi sebelum tahap belajar huruf kanji, terlebih dahulu siswa mempelajari huruf hiragana dan katakana yang biasa disebut huruf kana. Huruf kana terdiri atas 96 huruf dimana huruf hiragana dan huruf katakana tersebut bentuknya mirip. Hal ini menyebabkan siswa kesulitan untuk mempelajari huruf kana. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu media untuk mempermudah pembelajar mempelajari huruf kana. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan adalah media permainan. Dalam penelitian ini, media permainan yang digunakan adalah media permainan sudoku yang sudah di modifikasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran huruf kana, sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media permainan sudoku. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media permainan sudoku terhadap pembelajaran huruf kana, dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media permainan sudoku. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode experimen quasi dengan desain eksperimen yaitu one group pre-test - post-test. Sampel penelitian adalah anggota Japanese Club sebanyak 20 orang yang diambil dari populasi SMP Laboratorium Percontohan UPI Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes, angket dan obsevasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, nilai t hitung sebesar 6.53. Nilai t tabel sebesar 2.09 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan 2.86 pada taraf signifikansi 1%. Dengan demikian, diperoleh hasil t hitung lebih besar dibandingkan nilai t tabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% (6.53 > 2.09). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengguanaan media permainan sudoku dalam pembelajaran huruf kana sangat efektif. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil analisis data angket, responden memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap penggunaan media permainan sudoku yaitu menarik, dan mudah diikuti. When studying Japanese at school, basic aspects must study is the Japanese letter. In its writing system, Japanese has four letters, namely kanji, hiragana, katakana, and roomaji. Before the stage of kanji learning, firstly, students have to learn hiragana and katakana which are commonly called kana. Kana, composed of 96 letters where the letter of the hiragana and katakana are barely different. This causes difficulties for students to learn kana. Therefore, we need a media to facilitate learners to learn kana. One medium that can be used are game as the learning media. This study, the media used is a sudoku game that has been modified. The purpose of this study is to acknowledge students’ ability in learning kana, before and after using the sudoku game as a media. In addition, this study also aims to analyze the influence of sudoku game usage as the media in learning kana Letters, and to find out the students' response to the use of sudoku game as a media. This study uses a quasi experiment method with the one group pre-test - post-test as experiment design. Samples were 20 students from Japanese Club members who were taken from a population of SMP Laboratorum Percontohan UPI Bandung. The instrument used was test, questionnaire and observation. Based on the data analysis, the t value at 6.53. T table at 2.09 on a significance level of 5% and 2.86 at 1% significance level. Thus, the results obtained that t value is greater than t table at a significance level of 5% (6.53> 2.09). This shows that the usage of sudoku game as media is a very effective in learning kana. In addition, based on data analysis of the questionnaire, the respondents gave a positive response to the use of media sudoku game that are attractive, and easy to follow

 The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of media play on the cognitive development of children aged 5-6 years at Widya Kumara Santhi Kindergarten, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency 2016/2017 Academic Year. Playdough is one activity that is beneficial for the development of a child's brain. Cognitive development is a change in thinking or intellectual abilities. According to Minister of Education Regulation no. 58 of 2009 revealed that one aspect of cognitive development that needs to be developed in children aged 5-6 years is the concept of shape, color, size, and pattern. Shapes taught to young children are geometric shapes such as circles, triangles, squares and rectangles. This type of research is using a quantitative approach, the target of this study is 30 children aged 5-6 years at TK Widya Kumara Santhi, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency. From the results of quantitative research using Pre Experiments with the type of one group pre-test and post-test desaign. Based on the results of the t test, the significance value (sig) was 0,000. The significance value of the t test is smaller than the maximum limit set at 0.05 (sig ≥ 0.05) so that it can be concluded if there are significant differences in the cognitive development of children before and after using media play. From the results of the paired sample t test, it can be concluded that media play has an effect on cognitive development (Ha accepted). With the acceptance of the working hypothesis it can be concluded that the media playdough has a quite high influence on the Cognitive Development of Children Aged 5-6 Years at Widya Kumara Santhi Kindergarten, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency.

Abstract The balance of body is one of the main factor in doing fungsional activity. In every activity, the body always need control of the body balance, because basically every phisic activity right static or dinamic will take someone on unstable position with big risk to having fell. Swiss Ball exercise as support is believed on labile surface will make spine have big chance to stabling the muscle between vebra and increase the dinamic balance to restrain the repeats stability. The research object to know The Effect of Swiss Ball Exercise toward The Body Balance to Less The Risk Fall of Older at UPT Social Service of Older and Children Under Five district Binjai and Medan in Year 2016. The research type is Quasi Experiment with pre test-post test one group only design method. Population in this research all of older at UPT Social Service district Binjai as much as 172 older with number of man is 81 and woman is 91, with Purposive sampling Technique that is 15 respondences. Data collecting using observation sheet with analysis that used is univariat: respondence characteristics, the body balance of older before and after doing Swiss Ball practice, and bivariat with Paired t-Test. The research result showing the average of body balance before doing Swiss Ball as much (Mean 38,07) and after (Mean 46,33). Conclusion: there is the effect of Swiss Ball toward body balance to less the risk fall of older (p=0,000 ; p=< 0,05). Sugessted for older to practice the balance himself more steady so that not easy to have risk fall further. Influenced, and for the next researcher can research about another factor that foregrounded the risk fall of older.Keywords    : Swiss Ball, Balance Exercise, Risk Fall

Background: Choking deserves attention because it often happens to children. The inappropriate handling of choking becomes a vigilance. Caution and handling of choking become crucial even to cadres of Posyandu (the centre for pre- and post-natal health care and information for women and for children under five) in Karangsari Village. Thus, providing them with health education is necessary.Objective: To identify the influence of health education about handling choking on children through booklet media on the knowledge level of Posyandu cadres in Karangsari Village.Research Methods: This is a quantitative research using pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test design approach. The research sample was taken through a total sampling technique. There were 30 cadres fulfilling the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instrument consists of pre and post-test questionnaire, which was modified and had been tested for its validity and reliability.Research Result: The research result indicates that the knowledge average value obtained by the 30 respondents before being given health education is 61.50 and after being given health education is 88.00. The result of bivariate analysis using t-test sample paired test shows the p-value of 0.0001.Conclusion: There is an influence of health education about handling choking on children through booklet media on the knowledge level of Posyandu cadres in Karangsari Village.

ABSTRACTBackground: Mobile Applications are being developed at a rapid speed and are intensively used by students. It can help to achieve better performance in organizing, managing, and monitoring classroom activities.Aims and objectives: Present study aimedto assess and compare the knowledge and practice regarding FBNC among nursing students in MBL group and MABL group before and after the administration of MBL and MABL. The conceptual framework of the study was based on CIPP model by Stufflebeam.Methods: A Quantitative research approach with quasi-experimental and  non-equivalent controlgroup pre–test post–test design. The study was conducted at two nursing colleges of Ambala, Haryana. A total of 70 B.Sc. Nursing 3rd Year students, randomly allocated to 2 groups i.e. 35 in MBL and 35 in MABL. The tool used for the study consisted of structured knowledge questionnaire and observational check list was used to assess knowledge and practices by OSCE method of nursing students regarding FBNC. Data collection was done in January, 2017. The obtained data was analyzed and interpreted in terms of objectives and researchResults: Findingsof the study indicate that revealed that mean post- test knowledge and practices score in MBL group (21.4 ±0.89) and in MABL group (22.4 ± 0.54) was significantly higher than pre-test knowledge score in MBL group (14.6±15.0) and in MABL group (16.2±17.0). Also, the mean post-test practice score in MBL group (38.1±1.91) and in MABL group (38.9± 1.20) was significantly higher than pre-test practicescore in MBL (20.4 ± 3.70) as well as in MABL group (20.5 ± 4.26). Mild positive significant relationship (r=0.03) was found between post test score of knowledge and practicesConclusion: MABL was more effective in developing the practices of nursing students regarding FBNC than MBL.

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in self-efficacy of adolescents at risk through a combination of psychoeducation therapy with music at SMPN Kota Padang. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design pre-post test control group. The results showed that the mean score of self-efficacy before the intervention group intervention was lower than the control group. Still, after the intervention was given to adolescents, it showed psychoeducation therapy with music on changes in student self-efficacy at risk. The statistical test results obtained a P value <0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant increase in self-efficacy before and after psychoeducation therapy intervention with music. Keywords: Psychoeducation, Youth, Self Efficacy

The objectives of the study are (1) To find out the students’ vocabulary mastery before being taught by using homophone stories, (2) To find out the students’ vocabulary mastery after being taught by using homophone stories, (3) To find out the significant difference the vocabulary mastery of the seventh grade students of SMP N 1 Kranggan before and after being taught using homophone stories. The population of the study was the seventh grade students of SMP N 1 Kranggan. The writer took class 7D as a sample of the study. The class consists of 31 students. The writer used experimental quantitative research in the study. Test as the instrument was used to collect the data. The objective of conducting try out test was to measure the validity, reliability, discrimination power, and level difficulty of the test. The data was computed and it was find out that 30 items were valid. Then, the valid items were used for the pre-test and post-test of vocabulary mastery item tests. The result of the mean score of students before being taught by using homophone stories was 56.34 and the mean score of students after being taught by using homophone stories was 77.5. The result showed that the mean score of post-test was higher than pre-test. Then, the writer calculated t-test to know whether or not there was significant difference students’ achievement between them who were taught before using homophone stories and students who were taught after using homophone stories. The result showed that t-test was higher than t-table. It was 9.19> 1.697. It means that there is significant difference between the students’ vocabulary mastery after being taught by using homophone stories and before being taught by using homophone stories. From the data above, it can be concluded that the students’ vocabulary mastery after being taught by using homophone stories was higher than the students’ vocabulary mastery before being taught by using homophone stories. The data prove that it is effective to use homophone stories as a media teaching in improving students’ vocabulary mastery.

ABSTRACT Objective: To assess the early childhood education teachers’ knowledge about first aid before and after the participation in an educational action. Method: Quantitative research with a quasi-experimental pre- and post-test design, carried out with 45 teachers from four early childhood education schools. For data collection, an instrument with questions regarding the characterization of the participants and knowledge about first aid was used. Data were analyzed through statistical techniques, using the Shapiro Wilk and Wilcoxon tests. Results: There was an increase in the number of correct answers to the questions and improvement regarding grades, with an increase in the score from pre- to post-test by 5.17 points and with a significant comparison of sums. Conclusion: Carrying out educational actions on first aid increases the knowledge of early childhood education teachers on the subject and the nurses’ role as health educators is highlighted.
