ABSTRACT Prevention of cervical cancer can be done by screening through an inspection of Visual Acetate Acid (IVA). However, the IVA examination at Tipo Community Health Center in 2017 is still low, which is only 72 people out of 1,513 people of Fertile Age Couples (PUS). This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's knowledge and support towards the participation of fertile age couples for cervical cancer screening. The design of this study used Cross Sectional with a population of all PUS aged 15-49 years who came to visit the working area of Tipo Community Health Center. The sample are 54 respondents with Purposive sampling technique. The research data was analyzed by Fisher’s exact test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between knowledge (p = 0.202) and the participation of PUS in cervical cancer screening. Whereas, the other results showed that there was a significant relationship between husband's support (p = 0.023) and the participation of the PUS for cervical cancer screening. Conclusions, there is a significant relationship between husband's support and the participation of Fertile Age Couples in cervical cancer Screening in the Work Area of Tipo Health Center. Midwives are expected to be able to involve the husband in the socialization event of the importance of IVA examination to PUS Keywords : Husband's Knowledge, Support, Cervical Cancer Screening

Stunting is a chronic condition of a child's poor linear growth which is an accumulation of the effects of various factors such as poor nutrition and health before and after the birth of the child. Riskesdas data in 2013 amounted to 37.2% of Indonesian children experiencing stunting. This figure increased compared to 2010 (35.6%) and 2007 (36.8%). This study was conducted to analyze exclusive breastfeeding status and diarrheal disease as risk factors for stunting in children under the age of 24-59 months in the working area of Sangkub Community Health Center, Sangkub Subdistrict, Bolaang Mongondow Utara Regency. Conducted in January - February 2019 in the working area of the Sangkub Community Health Center, Sangkub District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. with a sample size of 40 toddlers. The sampling technique is consecutive sampling. The results showed that the results of statistical tests using the Fisher's Exact Test test obtained a significant level (p = 0.037) which means p = <0.05. From these results it can be seen that there is a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding status and the incidence of stunting in infants aged 24-59 months in the working area of Sangkub Community Health Center, Sangkub Subdistrict, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency and obtained a significant level (p = 1,000) means p => 0.05, which means that there is no significant relationship between diarrheal disease and the incidence of stunting in infants aged 24-59 months in the working area of Sangkub Community Health Center, Sangkub District, North Bolaang Mongondow Regency.

Background: Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Breast cancer screening involves breast self-examination (BSE), clinical breast examination (SADANIS), and mammography. The high rates of breast cancer result from the low number of women who screen for breast. As an important thing, religiosity affecting healthy behaviors and illnesses including the cancer screening action are rarely studied. Objective: The objective of this research is to identify the correlation between religiosity with women’s breast cancer screening in the working area of Pandak I Community Health Center, Bantul District, Yogyakarta. Method: This is a correlational analytical research along with a cross sectional approach. This research involved 397 respondents aged 20 years old or older than the age in question and they were not suffering from breast cancer measured by using an accidental sampling technique. The data collection technique was a questionnaire and the data processing dealt with the Spearman Rho. Results: The majority of respondents’ religiosity was moderate (77.3%) and the majority of breast cancer screening measurements was low (59.4%). The Spearman Rho test results showed no relation between religiosity with women’s breast cancer screening action in the working area of Pandak I Community Health Center, Bantul District, Yogyakarta (Pv: 0,938, Sig: 0,05). The Spearman correlation value was 0.004, indicating that the correlation direction was positive along with the weakest correlation strength. Conclusion: Breast cancer screening measurements are low and unrelated to the level of religiosity. The reason for not doing breast cancer screening action largely depends on the belief that health is determined by God. Therefore, nurses should further enhance the promotion of health education regarding breast cancer screening measurements using an approach other than religiosity. Keywords: Breast cancer, religiosity, screening, women

Cervical cancer is the second most frequently diagnosed and the fourth commonest cause of cancer death among women worldwide. Even though cervical cancer is preventable, its screening rate has been reported to be low in Ghana. To the best of our knowledge, no study has focused on the utilisation and perceptions of cervical cancer among women in their reproductive age in Ghana. The present study aimed at assessing the utilisation and perceptions of cervical cancer screening services among women who seek reproductive healthcare services. A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out among women aged 18 years and above. Using a two-stage sampling technique, 369 participants were selected from 2 out of 4 eligible study sites. Data on the perceptions and utilisation of cervical cancer screening services were collected following ethical approval. The data were collected using both English and Twi versions of the questionnaire. The data were descriptively and inferentially analysed. A few of the participants had been previously screened for cervical cancer (n = 69; 18.7%), while a greater proportion of the participants appropriately perceived the screening benefits (> 70%), and an equally greater percentage of them harboured negative perceptions which prevented them from engaging in such endeavours (> 80%). Significant differences in perception were, however, observed in two-fifths of the studied areas (6/14) among the screened and unscreened participants. Cervical cancer screening services were not utilised by the majority of the participating women. Screening was associated with socio-demographic characteristics such as marital status, parity, education, and employment status. Inappropriate perceptions on cervical cancer screening may account for the low utilisation of cervical cancer screening. Therefore, all-inclusive health education on the benefits of cervical cancer screening for both women and men should be a priority for stakeholders and all health organisations.
