These community service activities are carried out in the Tahunan Village, Sale District, Rembang. The existence of arts groups in the village still requires assistance from human resource such as trainer. Therefore, this service aims to 1) strengthen the position of the arts group to be more empowered; 2) increasing the number of group members from young people; 3) improve the skills of group members in musical, orchestrating, and dancing; and 4) increase the income of group members. The method used in this community service program is training and mentoring. The results of this program are: 1) The arts group already has a name and routinely conducts meetings and training activities; 2) members of group from the school age and young adults are increasing; 3) the art group is known outside the Sale District and gets a performance offer.

Jamu (herbal medicine) is included in traditional health drinks that its processing is often less hygienic. The purpose of this community service program is to improve the cleanliness of the herbal medicine-making process in the herbal medicine group in Malang through the provision of hygienic herbal medicine processing machines. Community service activities were carried out in 2018 by involving herbal medicine groups in Tegalgondo and Jetis Villages, Malang. The community service activities included analyzing the conditions and needs of partners, designing herbal medicine machines as needed, as well as assisting the use of machines. The implementation methods in this service program were discussion and training. The result of this service activity was an increase in partner knowledge regarding the importance of hygiene and the use of appropriate technology in herbal medicine processing. After the training was carried out, service partners began to be moved to process jamu more hygienically. Furthermore, assistance and technology-based marketing training activities also need to be carried out.

AbstrakTulisan tentang Program Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini membahas tentang Inovasi Kuda Lumping Di Desa Tegalrejo Kabupaten Temanggung. Program ini bertujuan untuk mendorong dan memotivasi masyarakat pedesaan untuk menjaga dan melestarikan seni tradisional yang mereka miliki dengan cara inovasi kesenian Kuda Lumping yang sudah ada sehingga kedepan dapat memperbaiki ekonomi mereka. Target program pengabdian ini adalah kelompok Kuda Lumping Turonggo Setyo Budi yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Desa Tegalrejo, Kecamatan Bulu, Kabupaten Temanggung, Jawa Tengah.kelompok kesenian tersebut masih eksis meskipun perkembangannya kurang baik. Program ini diharapkan dapat membangkitkan aktifitas anggota kelompok dengan harapan mereka akan lebih mencintai dan mau mengembangkan kesenian tersebut dengan cara mengadakan inovasi sehingga tetap berkelanjutan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah pelatihan dan pembimbingan masyarakat serta sosialisasi program inovasi yang meliputi iringan musik, gaya tabuhan, tari, dokumentasi dan identitas kelompok kesenian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anggota kelompok tersebut menjadi terdorong dan termotivasi untuk mengikuti setiap pelatihan dan pembimbingan. Inovasi yang mereka hasilkan dapat dilihat dalam pertunjukan di akhir program pengabdian tersebut.Kata kunci: Kuda Lumping, inovasi, tari, iringan musik. AbstractThe Community Service Program is about Innovation of Kuda Lumping in Tegalrejo Village, Temanggung Regency. This program aims to encourage and motivate the village people to maintain the traditional arts they have by innovation of kuda lumping that can later improve their economy. The target of this service program is a group of kuda lumping Turonggo Setyo Budi owned by the people of Tegalrejo village, Bulu district, Temanggung district, Central Java. The art group still exists even though its development is not so good. This program is expected to be able to arouse the activities of the group members to be more loving and to develop the arts they have by innovating so that the arts are sustainable. This program uses an approach through training and mentoring the community and socialization of innovation programs which include musical accompaniment, gaya tabuhan, dance, documentation and identity of the arts group. The result shows that the group members become encouraged and motivated in following the training and mentoring. This Community Service Program aims to train people to make simple tools that can detect the presence of formalin and borax in food so that people are helped in choosing safe food ingredients. The target partners of the training activities were mothers in Meurandeh Dayah Village. Based on preliminary search, partners have not yet realized the dangers of food containing prohibited additives such as formalin, borax and harmful dyes to health. Partners also do not know the simple way to detect the presence of formalin, borax, and forbidden dyes such as Rhodamine B in food. Therefore, the activities carried out include socialization about the dangers of prohibited additives in food and training to make simple tools to detect the presence of formalin and borax using turmeric and toothpicks. The activity continued with the practice of detecting the presence of prohibited additives in food using simple tools that have been made. This activity contributes to improving the level of public health through the skills to choose food that is safe for health.Keywords: training, borax, formalin, harmful dyes, additives.

ABSTRAKKegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepemimpinan dan pelatihan mengenai pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan usaha ekonomi produktif kepada pemuda Karang Taruna Desa Sukamanis, Kecamatan Kadudampit, Kabupaten Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pertama dengan observasi langsung yaitu: pengabdi langsung datang ke lokasi pengabdiaan untuk memperoleh data. Hal ini kami lakukan pada saat menjelang maupun saat kegiatan berlangsung. Observasi berguna untuk mengetahui kondisi dan kebutuhan yang diperlukan oleh Karang Taruna terutama untuk peningkatan sikap leadership dan juga kewirausahaan bagi para anggota Karang Taruna. Observasi sangat penting untuk mewujudkan kesuksesan kegiatan pengabdiaan masyarakat itu sendiri. Metode kedua adalah melakukan pelatihan mengenai kepemimpinan dan juga kewirausahaan, memberikan cara-cara untuk membentuk sikap kepemimpinan yang baik, memberikan tips untuk menjadi seoarang wirausahaan yang sukses. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan kepemimpinan dalam kewirausahaan ini sangat bermanfaat karena dapat menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan para pemuda Karang Taruna, ditambah dengan dukungan dari Kepala Desa Sukamanis sehingga para pemuda Karang Taruna sangat antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan kepemimpinan dan kewirausahaan.ABSTRACTThis activity aims to provide leadership training and training on community empowerment through the development of productive economic enterprises for youth youth in Sukamanis Village, Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency. The method used in community service is first by direct observation, namely: servants directly come to the service location to obtain data. We did this before and during the activity. Observation is useful to find out the conditions and needs needed by youth, especially for improving leadership and entrepreneurial attitudes for members of youth organizations. Observation is very important to realize the success of community service activities themselves. The second method is conducting training on leadership and entrepreneurship, providing ways to shape good leadership attitudes, giving tips for becoming a successful entrepreneur. The results of leadership training activities in entrepreneurship are very useful because they can add insight and knowledge to youth youth organizations, coupled with the support of the Village Head Sukamanis in providing support so that youth youth are very enthusiastic in participating in leadership and entrepreneurship training.

Abstract: This community service aims to provide counseling on solution to develop students language skills. The language skills must be development from an early age. Throught this activity, students can practice cognitive, affective, and psycomotorik development. Lack of interest in reading students so that it affects writing productivity can be said to be very less. This activity is very well done in the environment. It also can broaden students' insights, another benefit that can be taken in this activity is that it can improve their language skill. These effective reading and creative writing activities involve school-age students at Cawang Baru 1 High School. In this counseling and community service program, it will focus on training activities in effective reading and creative writing. By giving direction and socialization, it is hoped that (1) students will increase understanding in receiving information, (2) will foster students' confidence in conveying the information they can, (3) improve their language skills in a bigger forum, (4 ) gave birth to a creative generation in producing works through language. This community service program is also expected to be able to contribute in efforts to develop students' language skills as a future generationAbstrak: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penyuluhan bagaimana solusi mengembangkan keterampilan peserta didik dalam berbahasa. Keterampilan berbahasa harus dikembangkan sejak dini. Melalui kegiatan ini peserta didik dapat melatih perkembangan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Kurangnya minat membaca peserta didik sehingga memengaruhi produktivitas menulis dapat dikatakan sangat kurang. Kegiatan ini sangat baik dilakukan di lingkungan tersebut. Selain itu juga dapat menambah wawasan peserta didik, manfaat lain yang bisa diambil dalam kegiatan ini yaitu dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa mereka. Kegiatan membaca efektif dan menulis kreatif ini melibatkan peserta didik usia sekolah yang dilakukan di SMA 1 Cawang Baru. Pada program penyuluhan dan pengabdian masyarakat ini, akan berfokus pada kegiatan pelatihan membaca efektif dan menulis kreatif. Dengan diberikan pengarahan dan sosialisasi, diharapkan (1) akan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dalam menerima informasi, (2) akan menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri peserta didik untuk menyampaikan informasi yang mereka dapat, (3) meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa merekadi forum yang lebih besar, (4) melahirkan generasi yang kreatif dalam menghasilkan karya melalui bahasa. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini juga diharapkan mampu memberi kontribusi dalam upaya pengembangan keterampilan berbahasa peserta didik sebagai generasi di masa depan.

ABSTRAKPermasalahan dari mitra pengabdi kami adalah usaha mengembangkan skala ekonomi dengan industri kerajinan anyaman palitan di Dusun Nglengkong, Desa Giripurwo, Kabupaten Kulonprogo, yang masih mengalami berbagai kendala. Diantaranya, banyak penduduk Dusun Nglengkong yang bekerja di Industri kerajianan namun belum memiliki organisasi (lembaga) bagi buruh kerajinan. Kemudian alat dan cara pembuatannya masih kerajinan manual dan tradisional. Pemasaran masih melalui pengumpul/koordinator, sehingga daya tawar rendah. Dari permasalahan mitra tersebut UMY melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat, disinergikan melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) yang bertujuan untuk memotivasi masyarakat pengrajin serta meningkatkan kualitas dan standar produk dengan menambah jenis produk kerajiannnya. Metode yang dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang melibatkan sepuluh orang mahasiswa KKN dan tiga orang tim pengabdi. Hasil kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi dan pelatihan yang diikuti sekitar 22 pengarajian anyaman mulai terinisiasi untuk membentuk wadah organisasi yang struktur organisasinya merupakan bagian para pengrajin yang ada di Dusun Ngelengkong, menambah wawasan para pengrajin anyaman Dusun Nglengkong yang awalnya tidak semuanya mengetahui cara pembuatan anyaman palitan begitu pula dengan anyaman yang menggunakan senar, serta kegiatan ini membantu produsen memasarkan produk mereka melalui sosial media yang dapat diakses secara online. Kata Kunci : industri kerajinan; penguatan; sosialisasi; pemasaran; produk unggulan desa ABSTRACTThe issue for our service partners is the effort to build economies of scale in Nglengkong Hamlet, Giripurwo Village, Kulonprogo Regency with the Palitan woven handicraft industry, which is still experiencing various obstacles. Among them, many Nglengkong Hamlet residents work in the handicraft industry but do not yet have a handicraft workers’ association (institution). The methods and production processes are still manual and traditional crafts. Marketing is still through collectors / coordinators, so there is little bargaining power. UMY, through community service programs, is synergized from the partner issues through the Community Service Program, which seeks to inspire the community of craftsmen and increase the quality and standard of products by increasing the types of craft products. The strategy used consists of socialization and instruction involving ten students from the Community Service Program and three service teams. The results of the activity included socialization and training which was attended by around 22 weaving craftsmen who began to be initiated to form an organizational forum whose organizational structure is part of the craftsmen in Ngelengkong Hamlet, adding to the insight of the Nglengkong Hamlet weaving craftsmen who initially did not all know how to make palitan weaving as well as woven using strings, as well as this activity to help producers market their products through social media that can be accessed online. One of the government's efforts to improve public services is through the development of a digital village program, to make the village a development area that empowers people with information technology facilities. Guwang Village is one of the villages that is already connected to ICT but has not implemented a digital village program. The problems faced are (1) Limited knowledge in applying information technology to provide optimal public services, (2) Limited resources, and (3) Village officials do not have the knowledge and ability to implement the SID. Through this community service program the solutions provided are (1) Counseling about the application of information technology in providing public services, (2) Counseling about digital village programs and SID, (3) Application of digital villages through OpenSID and (4) Training and mentoring use of OpenSID in the form of the Guwang Village website. The purpose of this community service is to provide knowledge in providing public services by applying information technology. Methods of implementing community service activities with counseling and training. The results achieved, as many as 91% of participants understood the application of information technology in providing public services and as many as 84% understood about digital village programs and OpenSID.ABSTRACT (INDONESIAN): Salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan pelayanan publik adalah melalui pengembangan program desa digital. Program desa digital merupakan program untuk menjadikan desa sebagai wilayah pembangunan yang memberdayakan masyarakat dengan sarana teknologi informasi. Desa Guwang yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Gianyar merupakan salah satu desa yang sudah terhubung dengan TIK namun belum menerapkan program desa digital. Permasalahan yang dihadapi Desa Guwang adalah (1)Keterbatasan pengetahuan perangkat desa dalam menerapkan teknologi informasi untuk memberikan pelayanan publik yang optimal, (2)Keterbatasan sumber daya, serta (3)Perangkat desa belum memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam menerapkan Sistem Informasi Desa (SID). Melalui program pengabdian ini solusi yang diberikan adalah (1)Penyuluhan tentang penerapan teknologi informasi dalam memberikan pelayanan publik, (2)Penyuluhan tentang program desa digital dan SID, (3)Penerapan desa digital melalui SID berbasis open source dan (4)Pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan SID berupa website Desa Guwang. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada perangkat desa dalam memberikan pelayanan publik dengan menerapkan teknologi informasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan pengabdian ini sebanyak 91% peserta memahami penerapan teknologi informasi dalam memberikan pelayanan publik serta sebanyak 84% memahami tentang program desa digital dan Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) berbasis open source.

ABSTRACT - Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) also known as UMKM is growing rapidly and has become one of many sectors to support the Indonesian Economy. The lack of ability to have NPWP has been a problem for UMKM and also people. The same problem also found at UMKM in Kangkung Village. The purpose of this community service is to train the entrepreneurs about preparing and register oneself to get a NPWP. This community service is consist of four steps which started by survey of service location then collecting data on village potentials and the role of the community , Preparation for the implementation of assistance and training and training activities. After participating in the training, the entrepreneurs become more understanding and can register NPWP. Galur Subdistrict is an area that has abundant art and tradition potential and is in great demandby its people. Unfortunately, the art performances and traditions that are carried out only aim merelyto continue what have been done through generations. On the other hand, the inﬂux of modernarts has become a threat to preserving traditional culture, especially among young people who aresupposed to be the guardians of the traditions. Tis encourages Javanese Literature Study Programto carry out a community service program consisting of a series of training program as the StudyProgram’s concern and real action for cultural preservation.The training program is carried out through mentoring in motivating, counseling, education,discussion, and consultation. By using such mentoring techniques, it is expected that the result of theprogram will be optimum, namely raising public awareness to increase language literacy, knowledgeof literature, and the knowledge of the art performances they have. The Grajagan village had a library located at the village office. So far, the library has not been managed and utilized optimally. The problems that occur in this library include the lack of book collections, the absence of chairs and tables for readers, the condition of the library is not well organized, and the library staff were not trained in managing the library. These problems have resulted in the low interest of the people of Grajagan village to visit the village library. To solve the problems, it was necessary to provide assistance in library development. Library development is carried out through the addition of book collections, providing chairs and tables for readers, arranging library space, and training for library staff. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, it can be stated that the library's book collection has increased by 88 books, the library space becomes more comfortable with the increase in furniture, and the library staff has increased their knowledge in terms of library management. To further increase the role and function of the library, promotion or introduction to the library's book collections and facilities to local villagers is required.
