AbstractMany OJS-based journal managers do not understand the steps that should be taken. Many still publish by relying on back issues, even though the applications used are already based on OJS. The important thing that becomes the question is how is the real management of OJS-based scientific journals? For this reason, it is very important to carry out this socialization to increase the capacity of journal managers so that they can be even better and by the applicable standards in OJS. The method of implementation is face-to-face with the presentation of material in the form of material slides. Participants who attended were journaled managers who had frequently opened the OJS application so that in general they understood how the OJS application worked. However, this participant needs to be deepened considering that several steps are often missed in journal management. The results of the socialization showed that the participants had increased their understanding of step by step journal management. This can be seen from the results of discussions or questions and answers at the end of the material presentation session. Thus it can be concluded that the journal society is ready to be operationalized or ready to accept article manuscripts from students.

A divorce is indeed never expected to happen in a marriage. However once it happens, the important thing which must be taken into account is the consequence of the divorce where the issue pertinent to children’s livelihood is one of it. This study tried to probe into how Malaysia and Indonesia whose most of the population was Muslims adopted the Fiqh concept in terms of post-divorce children’s livelihood in their regulations. Since there  always be difference between theory and practice, the real implementation of the decisions will also be examined on the basis of legal norms. This study directly explores the laws and Court decisions for further assessment based on several indicators. It is found that the legislation and the Court decisions of the two countries had adopted the concept of Fiqh yet with a couple of particular notes. It is also found that there is a chance of providing livelihood for illegitimate children in the law and practice of both countries.

The present paper is an evaluation of those skill clusters and practices that are associated with superior ratings of executive presentation skills. It focuses on improving executive presentation skills. It explains the basics of oral presentation skills in general that apply across domains including that of business and management. Six sets practices were found to be characteristic of effective executive business presentation: the preparation, the delivery, and the questions and answers that follow the delivery. As Pappas and Hendricks (2000) and DiStanza, and Legge, 2002 found that an effective executive presentation includes the presenter's mastery and skill in technical content, organization, delivery and relating to the audience. Effective presenters have must be proficient at collecting, selecting, organizing, and illustrating their data, and have to be acutely aware of the purpose of their presentation, and the needs and interests of the audience. So, what distinguishes an executive presentation from other forms of oral communication is the context (environment), the content and the audience. The ingredients of an effective executive presentation are more or less the same as those of any other types of face-to-face presentations. Hence, although this article is focused on helping executives develop and more effectively use their oral presentation skills and practices, our framework can be of used by others who want to be effective public speakers.

The most important thing in art is The Frame. For painting: literally; for other arts: figuratively – because, without this humble appliance, you can't know where The Art stops and The Real World begins. You have to put a “box” around it because otherwise, what is that shit on the wall?If John Cage, for instance, says, “I'm putting a contact microphone on my throat, and I'm going to drink carrot juice, and that's my composition,” then his gurgling qualifies as his composition because he put a frame around it and said so. “Take it or leave it, I nowwillthis to bemusic.” After that it's a matter of taste. Without the frame-as-announced, it's a guy swallowing carrot juice.

'Virtual Reality' (VR) is a terminological umbrella for an assortment of technologies that are lumped together under one broad label. Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a text-based VR that does not involve the use of data gloves and 3-D objects. IRC communication takes place via strings of text typed in by its users. Unlike face-to-face communication, IRC conversations lack the nonverbal component of language. This lack is, to some extent, rectified by the use of paralanguage techniques. Despite the paucity of nonverbal and social cues, IRC users are able to engage in a variety of activities. IRC culture is essentially a culture of play and imagination, as the users take advantage of the lack of information about other users to fill in idealised details and images of their own. However, IRC is not merely about play. Data on identity experimentation illustrate that some users leave IRC with newfound knowledge about their self-identities, and about the social world and its workings. With the IRC experience, boundaries between the 'real' and the 'virtual' are sometimes blurred, and some participants are no longer able to view the world in terms of binary divisions of 'real' and 'unreal' and 'human' and 'machine'.
