Healthcare business in Thailand has been hugely popular among foreigners and retired persons especially. The research presented here focuses on the question “How to become and remain a healthcare entrepreneur?”. The objectives have been formulated in the following way: 1) to study the success factors of the healthcare business in Thailand, and 2) to analyze the key success factors of entrepreneurs in this field. The population of the study is 6,717 people. The sample group has been 315 people, the stratified random sampling has been applied. The key success factors include education, investment plan, place/location, nurses, supporting staff and strategy. Education has got the highest score - 0.75. Most entrepreneurs have graduated with a bachelor degree or higher. The second comes strategy with the score of 0.636. As this business is quite famous, the competitors apply various strategies to get more customers, both local and international. Information technology and 4Ps are used for campaigns, for example. The lowest score in terms of business success impact got the investment plan with 0.528.

This research was conducted to determine the effect of turnover intention and information technology on job satisfaction during the covid-19 pandemic in PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional III Palembang. The population of 116 employees and a sample of 90 respondents were calculated using slovin formula with 5% error rate, sampling techniques using proportionate stratified random sampling. The data used is primary data. Methods of collected data through questionnaires. Analysis techniques use multiple linear regressions, F-tests, t-tests and determination tests. The results of regression tests and F-tests showed there was an influence of turnover intention and information technology on job satisfaction during the covid-19 outbreak. The results of the t test showed there was an influence of turnover intention on job satisfaction, and there was an influence of information technology on job satisfaction. And the results of the determination test showed variable turnover intention and information technology was able to contribute to job satisfaction.   Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh turnover intention dan teknologi informasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pada masa pandemi covid-19 di PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional III Palembang. Populasi berjumlah 116 orang karyawan dan sampel sebanyak 90 orang responden yang dihitung menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 5%, dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer. Metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda, uji F, uji t dan uji determinasi. Hasil pengujian regresi dan uji F menunjukkan ada pengaruh turnover intention dan teknologi informasi terhadap kepuasan kerja pada masa pendemi covid-19. Hasil uji t menunjukkan ada pengaruh turnover intention terhadap kepuasan kerja, dan ada pengaruh teknologi informasi terhadap kepuasan kerja. Dan Hasil uji determinasi menunjukkan variabel turnover intention dan teknologi informasi mampu berkontribusi terhadap kepuasan kerja.

The purpose of this study is to identify the key success factors that affect Thai entrepreneurial competitiveness in logistics business operations. Four main parameters and twelve variables were first identified from both a literature review and observations from the Thai context, and were then explored. The methodology of this research began with a literature review. Fifty entrepreneurs in the logistics sector then filled out questionnaires, which were analyzed using a mean and standard deviation (SD) model. Results showed that the responses were in the agreed level in which the mean=2.89 and SD=0.35. The mean of the variable Thailand Infrastructure is still incomplete, was 2.94. The mean of Fuel Prices still Continuously Increase, was 2.90; and the mean of Thai Entrepreneurs Mainly Use Road Transportation was 2.84. Responses showed the mean of the variable Thai Entrepreneurs Have Too Little Understanding of Effective Transportation System, was 3.04. The mean of Thai Entrepreneurs Lack Knowledge and Skills about Just-in-Time Concept, was 2.79; and the mean of the Logistics Management is Separately Managed, the Collaboration in each Department is Low, was 2.58. The mean of Domestic Laws and Regulations are not Competitive was 3.03. The mean of Cross-border Trade and Regulations need to be revamped, was 2.94; and the mean of International Transportation Rules must be changed, was 2.73. The mean of Thai Logistics Workforce Lacks Logistics Management Skills and Experience, was 3.45. The mean of Thai Logistics Workforce Productivity is Lower than Entrepreneurs’ Expectations, was 2.97 and the mean of English Proficiency of Thai Logistics Workforce is Low, was 2.73. Thai entrepreneurs need to improve their competitiveness by focusing on the key factors that affect logistics business success, such as figuring out how to cut operational management costs, improve ineffective inventory management and improve the quality of workforce skills and knowledge. Transportation costs are still high, and since these costs are influenced by Government policies, Thai entrepreneurs need the Government to establish plans for infrastructure investment, such as by focusing on rail transportation rather than relying on roads. This would help entrepreneurs to enhance their competitiveness and provide excellent customer service. Effective inventory management requires both upstream and downstream development because inventory management involves more than just one function, such as the purchasing department or workin-process responsibilities, so all functions should work together. Inventory management success requires good collaboration with suppliers, transportation providers, distributors, and customers.

Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques applied to project activities in order to roll out products / services to meet / exceed the needs and expectations of stakeholders. Project management has been popular within the Information Technology department of organizations for quite some time, and the approach for tackling the tasks involved is demanding. In that sense, getting the right and qualified human resource for handling such projects is one of the key success factors, for achieving results. Really dedicated and experienced IT professionals are scarce globally, and as the profession is also quite new to most people, there is a shortage of staff. In addition is the fear of not achieving objectives / goals if one ventures into it. However, with globalization being the norm currently, and multi-national organizations spreading / moving out to countries with less / cheaper labour costs, there is the need to get people to specialize in handling projects successfully. Executing IT projects successfully is the bane of most organizations, as the activities are technical and, in addition involve huge costs of expenditures.

The main purpose of this paper is to examine the different types of factors in the African business context and in particular in the context of Burkina Faso, that can help companies to be successful. It is about the identification of the key successful factor among some main factors such as adaptation, efficiency and strategic positioning The data is from a survey on entrepreneurs in Burkina Faso, who attended the Africallia business meeting in 2018. The results show that the adaptation to the context is one of the main factors for business success. Thus, the suggestion is that companies should adapt to the African context in order to improve their profit, performance and thus gain a tremendous success. This study aims to investigate intelligibility levels of Thai EFL learners, relationship between intelligibility and learners’ variables, and relationship between intelligibility and comprehensibility scores toward varieties of English. Seventy-five students were recruited as a sample group through stratified random sampling technique. Seven research instruments were used in the study, including a quick placement test, a questionnaire, an intelligibility test, an accent familiarity judgment report, a comprehensibility test, an attitudinal test, and four speech samples produced by speakers of 4 different nationalities. Data were quantitatively analyzed by means of arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficients. The findings revealed that Thai EFL learners received high scores in their intelligibility tests for all speech samples. Thai speaker was rated as the most intelligible to the learners, while American speaker was rated as the least intelligible one. Correlations between intelligibility and other learners’ variables were found only in accent familiarity, language proficiency, and attitude. A significant correlation was also found between intelligibility and comprehensibility scores towards varieties of English of Thai EFL learners.

Collecting data in this study was conducted using a survey by questionnaire to 114 students by stratified random sampling method. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression, F test and test T. The result is a marketing mix that significantly is the product, place, and physical evidence. And that does not affect the marketing mix is price, promotion, place, and processes

Era SDGs (sustainable development goals) merupakan kelanjutan program MDGs (Millenium Development Goals) memiliki tujuan bersama yang universal untuk memelihara keseimbangan tiga dimensi pembangunan yang berkelanjutan, salah satu tujuannya adalah menjamin ketersediaan air bersih dan sanitasi yang berkelanjutan untuk semua orang. Pentingnya ketersediaan air bersih bagi kehidupan masyarakat dapat memberikan pengaruh penting terhadap kesehatan masyarakat,sehingga air yang digunakan untuk keperluan sehari-hari kualitasnya harus memenuhi standar baku mutu kesehatan lingkungan dan persyaratan kesehatan air. Berdasarkan informasi wali jorong palupuah mengatakan bahwa sumber air yang digunakan oleh warga untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari secara fisik berwarna, terdapat endapan pada penampungan air, dan belum pernah diuji keamananya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran ketersediaanair bersih di Jorong Palupuah Nagari Pasia Laweh KabupatenAgam.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional survey dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua rumah tangga yang berada di Jorong Palupuah Nagari Pasia Laweh Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 74 KK ditentukan dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling dan analisis data dilakukan dengan univariate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik responden di jorong Palupuah Nagari Pasia Laweh Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat mayoritas berusia 25-45 tahun dengan tingkat pendidikan terakhir adalah tamat SMA. Berdasarkan hasil survey rata-rata jumlah anggota keluarga di jorong Palupuah berjumlah 3 orang (32,4%), dan mayoritas responden bekerja sebagai IRT dengan tingkat penghasilan keluarga rata-rata Rp.1.500.000.Terdapat lima sumber air baku utama yang dijadikan sebagai sumber air bersih oleh masyarakat jorong dan sebagian besar sumber air yang digunakan berasal dari sumber mata air (71.8%). Selain itu, masih ada sebagian masyarakat yang mengeluhkan penyaluran air yang tidak lancar (35,1%). Serta masih ada 41.9% yang mengatakan tidak mudah mendapatkan air bersih. Kualitas air bersih yang disalurkan di Jorong Palupuah termasuk dalam kategori baik. Namun, sebagian besar masyarakat tidak menggunakan PDAM dan sumber air yang digunakan sangat tidak menunjang untuk dikonsumsi.

Survei Demografi Kesehatan Indonesia (SDKI) tahun 2012 mengalami peningkatan pada remaja berusia 15-19 tahun, dimana remaja laki-laki (4,5%) dan remaja perempuan (0,7%) pernah melakukan seks pranikah. Hasil penelitian Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika tahun 2014, pada usia 10-19 tahun dengan populasi 43,5 juta didapatkan hasil 52% menemukan konten pornografi melalui iklan/ situs yang tidak mencurigakan dan 14% mengakses situs porno secara sukarela. Berdasarkan survei awal di SMP A Pekanbaru terhadap 10 orang pelajar didapatkan hasil 7 dari 10 mereka sudah berpacaran, sering berpegangan tangan dan berpelukan dengan lawan jenis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan keterpaparan media massa dan peran orangtua terhadap perilaku seksual pada remaja di SMP A Pekanbaru tahun 2017. Jenis penelitian yaitu analitik kuantitatif, dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu stratified random sampling sebanyak 158 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan uji chi square didapatkan hasil adanya hubungan antara keterpaparan media massa dan perilaku seksual dengan  p value 0,000 < 0,05 dan tidak adanya hubungan antara peran orangtua dan perilaku seksual dengan p value 0,759 > 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas responden terpapar media massa (82,3%) dan mayoritas orangtua berperan (91,1%) serta sebagian besar responden beresiko terhadap perilaku seksual (27,8%). Sebaiknya pihak sekolah bekerjasama dengan instansi kesehatan untuk memberikan penyuluhan mengenai kesehatan reproduksi dan bekerjasama dengan BKKBN untuk membuat suatu program Pusat Informasi dan Konseling Remaja (PIK-R).
