Aim. The presented study aims to conduct a comprehensive phenomenological analysis of creativity as a resource for the development of a service enterprise through the example of the creative activity of event agencies. Tasks. The authors examine the phenomenon of creativity and develop a theoretical framework for considering creativity as a resource for the development of a service enterprise through the example of event agencies; identify the indicators of creativity of a service enterprise; develop a scale of creativity of event agencies operating in the modern services market. Methodology. The theoretical and methodological basis of this study includes the works of Russian and foreign scientists and experts in the field of creativity and its use as a resource for the development of service enterprises. The authors use the phenomenological method (to examine the phenomenon of creativity as a whole), comparative (comparison of approaches, ideas, and experience of different countries in the field of creative activity), hermeneutical (interpretation of various aspects related to the analysis of creativity), and systems analysis. To examine the indicators of creativity of event agencies, this study uses quantitative and qualitative analysis of information materials published on the official websites of the examined cities, convention and event agencies, statistics of professional associations of congress and exhibition organizations, including the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), as well as other analytical reports, expert opinions, and applied research on the topic. The study analyzes statistics on the number and themes of events held in each city, event infrastructure, the range of provided services, and the level of service. The cities are then comparatively analyzed based on the results of examination of each city, and general conclusions are formulated. Results. The main problem addressed by this study is associated with the concept of “creativity”, its content, degree, limits, and risks. The scientific novelty of the study is predicated upon the insufficient investigation of the problem of creativity as a resource for the development of a service enterprise. This study is one of the first attempts to develop a methodology for comprehensively analyzing the phenomenon of creativity with regard to event agencies. The results obtained during the study are vital for the theoretical conceptualization and practical solution of the problem of creativity in the context of economic knowledge: the key indicators of creativity of an event agency are identified and a creativity assessment model is developed based on the range of possible manifestations of creativity in the professional activity of event agencies. Creativity is analyzed as a resource for the development of a service enterprise through the example of the activity of event agencies. Eight indicators of creativity of an event agency are identified and an assessment scale is developed. The creativity indicators include “fluency”, “flexibility”, “originality”, “elaboration and synthesis”, “redirection”, “redefinition”, “reinitiation”, and “generation”. These eight indicators are incorporated into a creativity scale based on the Likert scale, which makes it possible to assess the degree (level) of creativity of an event agency on a scale of one to ten. As a result, the following problems are solved: the essence of the concept of “creativity” is determined and its main features are identified by analyzing the specific aspects of the modern MICE industry landscape. Scientific information on the topic is analyzed, systematized, and generalized. Russian and foreign experience of using creativity as a resource for the development of a service enterprise is comparatively analyzed. Conclusions. The special role of creativity as a resource for the development of an event agency is revealed, and the indicators of the agency’s creativity are formulated. A creativity scale is developed. The correlation between the competitiveness of a service enterprise and the use of the creative resource in its development is determined. This study is one of the first attempts to develop a methodology for comprehensively analyzing the phenomenon of creativity with regard to event agencies. The results of the study are important for the theoretical conceptualization and practical solution of the problem of creativity in the context of economic knowledge.

Problem statement and its relevance. One of the pioneers of Chinese contemporary piano art, whose creative activity certainly contributed to its formation, further rapid rise and recognition of creative achievements on the world art horizon, is a prominent pianist — Liu Shikun, who today has received complete recognition as a brilliant performer, composer and teacher thus marked the beginning of the socalled piano boom in China, and with it — the gradual formation and confident rise of the Chinese piano school. If various aspects of contemporary Chinese performing arts have repeatedly been subjected to musicological discourse in the scientific community, the direct and comprehensive coverage of Liu Shikun’s leading role in the process of forming the foundations of Chinese piano performing arts, as well as careful analysis and representation of his creative achievements and pedagogical fields are still relevant for basic musicological research. The purpose of this article is to highlight and analyze the main vectors of creative activity of the famous Chinese musician Liu Shikun in the context of the development of piano art in China in the second half of the XX — early XXI centuries. The methodology of the work focuses on the principles of historicism and source studies, which provides coverage of Liu Shikun’s musical work in a single context with cultural, historical and artistic phenomena and their interaction. In addition, methods of retrospective, structuralsystem analysis, interpretation of facts, argumentation and generalization are involved. The results obtained during the achievement of the goal of this work focus on the representation and characterization of Liu Shikun’s creative achievements in the field of concert performance, teaching and composition and the artist’s contribution to the development of Chinese piano culture. The topicality of the article lies in the first attempt in Ukrainian musicology to comprehensively cover the main directions of creative activity of the famous Chinese pianist Liu Shikun in the projection of his influence on the formation of the current state of Chinese piano art. The practical significance of the facts and analysis of the main vectors of Liu Shikun’s creative activity carried out in this work is the possibility of using this material in courses on the history and theory of modern piano art, in particular in sections on the Chinese piano school, as well as for further more thorough research of Liu Shikun’s musical creativity, systematization of scientific information on his contribution to the development of musical art of this country. Conclusions. Summarizing the above given material, it should be noted that the fruitful and multifaceted work of this artist directly influenced the development and professionalization of piano performance in China at that time. This influence was due to the comprehensive recognition of the artist’s creative achievements by the world music community, in particular through numerous concert performances in leading countries (especially in partnership with leading orchestras and outstanding musicians); creation of original samples of concert repertoire on the basis and with specificity of the Chinese traditional melody; organization of a dense network of author’s music schools (art centers) and formation of the foundations of the Chinese national piano pedagogy.

This chapter offers a new conceptualization of culture, focusing on domains of professional activity. Culture is understood as a dynamic system integrating material, symbolic, and social elements and describing the context of human action. From this perspective, culture exists not only between nations but also within nations, at the level of different groups and communities. Professional groups are cultural units, which bring together people who share a number of norms and values, work within a given set of material constraints, and co-construct a common identity. Artists, scientists, and designers represent distinctive professional groups associated with recognized forms of creative activity. Research is presented concerning (a) the factors involved in creative expression in art, science, and design, and (b) the creative processes specific for different stages of creative work within each of these domains. The findings are interpreted in terms of cultural and contextual influences.

Massification, digitalization and bureaucratization are now the major trends that shape higher education. Massification has led to an inevitable problem of the heterogeneity of students and the need for adaptive learning; digitalization has created a need for distance learning technologies and, as a result, learning data production; finally, bureaucratization has meant that the education quality assessment now predominantly relies on quantitative rather than qualitative indicators. At the crossing of these trends, a new research interest has emerged, which develops both theoretical and practically oriented studies and which has become known as learning analytics. Learning analytics is now actively discussed in Western countries, where national policies to regulate and stimulate this sphere are designed and professional associations of specialists in learning analytics are created. Proponents of learning analytics believe that the data collected and analyzed by an education institution will help the management take more justified and objective decisions than those based on expert opinions. Learning analytics is understood in this paper as a necessary tool for detecting the weak sides of the curricula. It also helps build students’ individual learning trajectories, which is essential for an individualized approach in education and for making the learning process more adaptive. Opponents of learning analytics, in their turn, see it as a threat to the current balance of power in education, the roles of the teacher and manager, and point out the need for specific competencies and the danger of personal data breach. Russia is now left out of the global agenda: except for a few recent cases, learning analytics is still viewed by many as more of a promise than reality. This review is aimed at shedding light on the modern understanding of learning analytics, its development in the world and in Russia, the prospects and limitations of its application in Russia from the perspective of the key stakeholders in higher education. We also propose recommendations regarding the organization of a university learning analytics system. This article will be of interest to university managers and decision-makers, teachers and scholars of higher education as it provides information on the organization of a data management system, including the collection, analysis and use of data.

In the article the author investigates the problem of formation of value orientations of students-vocalists during their studies in a higher educational pedagogical institution. The author believes that the peculiarities of the training of future students-vocalists in the university are the specifics of the age of students associated with early professional orientation and self-determination in the profession; in the organization of the educational process itself, due to the fact that individual classes in music disciplines are held, in the priority development by future music teachers not of fundamental scientific knowledge, but of practically necessary professional skills and abilities. In modern conditions of socio-cultural development, the problem of formation of value orientations of students-musicians becomes especially actual. It is generally accepted that music plays a special role in the life of an individual due to its ability to have a profound impact on the spiritual world of man. This action becomes much greater if the music affects not only externally (passive or active perception), but is also directly reproduced by the performer. In the process of performing, a deeper comprehension of a musical work continues, depending on its cognitive complexity, there is a positive or negative impact on the currently formed hierarchy of personal values. The value orientations of students in the process of musical performance are a prerequisite for the disclosure of aesthetic potentials, adjust not only the musical and aesthetic interests, but also the needs, tastes, ideals, views of young people and more. Acquiring these qualities, the individual joins the accumulated by mankind true values of life, culture and professional activity. The modern stage of music education is the foundation in the spiritual and moral development of the student, when the problem of value orientations of the student is considered as the most important element of the internal structure of personality, which allows to orient in the material and spiritual culture of society.
