Abstract Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of utilitarian, hedonic, and social benefits on brand switching decisions from cable television to Netflix. Research Methodology: The data for this study were gathered via questionnaires and a review of the literature. Purposive sampling was used to collect data from 92 respondents who were active undergraduate students at the Faculty of Economics and Business Unhas in the 2016-2018 academic year and used the Video on Demand (VoD) Netflix service. Multiple regression analysis, F test (simultaneous), and T test are used in the analysis (partial). Results: The findings indicated that utilitarian benefits and social status had a positive and significant effect on brand switching decisions, whereas hedonic benefits had a negative and insignificant effect. Simultaneously, utilitarian, hedonic, and social benefits all have a positive and significant effect on brand switching decisions.

This study investigated the relation of Type A behavior dimensions and measures of optimism and pessimism. The sample of 322 undergraduate students were 80 men and 242 women at Kuwait University. Analysis showed that five dimensions of Type A behavior, accuracy and persistence, speed and time pressure, desire for promotion, seriousness and organization, and workaholism were positively correlated with optimism, while aggression was negatively correlated with optimism and positively correlated with pessimism. The multiple regression analysis indicated that speed and time pressure and desire for promotion contributed significantly to the prediction of optimism, while aggression predicted pessimism more than any other dimension of Type A behavior.

Building on previous research relating to entrepreneurship, empowerment and self-employment, this article investigates the relationship between entrepreneurial empowerment, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and self-employment. These constructs are formulated into distinct factors and a sample of undergraduate students (N = 112) early in their careers surveyed to establish the structure formed by these factors. These instruments are tested and shown to provide robust scales able to ensure construct validity and reliability. Multiple correlational and multiple regression analysis are then conducted to test the relationships between the specified variables, with results indicating almost unequivocal support for the hypothesised associations between entrepreneurial empowerment and reasons for business start-up. In particular the “risk-taking” factor is found to have great predictive power on various reasons provided for business start-up is analysed. Several practical and theoretical implications are drawn from the empirical results and integrated with established conceptual findings.

The objectives of this research are: 1) To find out the undergraduate students’ Difficulties In Writing Thesis at The English Study Program of Muhammadiyah University Bengkulu (UMB) in Academic Year 2018-2019, and 2) To find out the most difficult variable they faced in writing theses. The design of this research is descriptive quantitative research. 74 students of the Seventh Semester Students of English Education Study Program of Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu in the Academic Year of 2018-2019 took part in this study. The instruments were questionnaires and interview. The data were collected by assigning the students to fill out the questionnaires and being interviewed afterward. The data were analyzed by checking the students’ answer in the questionnaire, classifying the students’ answers, calculating the students’ scores of difficulties in writing a thesis, describing the data and concluding the results. The results  showed the students' difficulties in writing a thesis; a) Orderly, the students' difficulties in writing a thesis are: related to difficulties of students' English proficiencies; related to difficulties of students' time management; related to difficulties of students' research methodology; related to difficulties of students' attitude; related to difficulties of students' research topic; and the least related to difficulties of a co-advisor relationship, students' plagiarism, students' personalities, the big number of supervised students and advisor workload; and difficulties of students motivation. b) The most difficulties in writing thesis are related to their English proficiency which are still low and limited. Both have become the first cause that they cannot develop their writing thesis well.  The implication of this study ; 1) the students should minimize their difficulties and find the solution in the way of  a) Improve their English, or at least have adequate English before writing a thesis. b) Should manage their time wisely in doing their thesis. c) Read more relevant sources that can support their research. d) Give more attention to avoid plagiarism. 2) Further researchers are suggested to do similar research and add more data with adding research instruments, such as interview guides.

1. Twenty-five northern Thai mothers, breast-feeding their infants on demand, were studied in their homes for 24 h. All breast-feeds were test-weighed and pre- and post-feed expressed breast-milk samples (0·5 ml) taken at each feed.2. The fat concentration of milk taken during a feed showed significant circadian variation, with maximum values between 16.00 and 20.00 hours and minimum values between 04.00 and 08.00 hours. Fat concentration at the start and at the end of a feed also varied significantly over 24 h.3. Multiple regression analysis showed that the most important predictor of fat concentration at a feed was the length of time elapsed since the previous feed – the longer this interval, the lower the subsequent fat concentration. Other significant predictors were the fat concentration at the end of the previous feed, and the milk intake at the previous and at the current feed.4. Fat concentration declined between feeds in proportion to the length of time between feeds, but the decline was less between sleep feeds than between waking feeds. This would appear to be a reflection of the lower post-feed fat concentration and higher pre-feed fat concentration of sleep feeds compared with waking feeds, when other variables relating to feeding pattern are taken into account.5. The larger the milk intake at a feed, the greater was the increase in fat concentration from the start to the end of the feed. The change in fat concentration was less in feeds taking place during the sleep period than in daytime feeds.

Research on leadership has suggested a possible relationship between style of leadership and being able to understand the viewpoints of others. The present investigation sought to determine the relationship between two measures of empathy and style of leadership. 127 undergraduate students, participating in small groups, were given Hobart and Fahlberg's predictive empathy measure, Barrett-Lennard's Relationship Inventory (perceived empathy), and Fiedler's Least Preferred Co-worker Scale (leadership style). A multiple regression analysis indicated that predictive empathy was a significant but moderate predictor of style while perceived empathy was not a significant predictor. The results were discussed in terms of future research and theory building.

This correlational comparative study aimed at investigating important psychological and situational predictors of preserving Thai traditions, as well as, finding the groups at risk of not preserving Thai traditions. The sample of 1,297 undergraduate students from 10 universities in junior and senior levels was obtained. The sample consisted of 265 male students and 1,032 female students. The stratified quota random sampling was used. The hypotheses are tested by Multiple Regression analysis. Results of the research found that the positively correlation between students’ psychological traits, social situations, psychological states and preserving Thai traditions is statistically significant at .01. Results of the total sample from multiple regression analysis indicated that behavioral intention to Thai-value was the first important predictor of this behavior, followed by social norm, cultivated by families, opening for information, role model, core-self-evaluation, attitude toward Thai products, psychological immunity, perceived ease of shopping Thai products, ego identity, and Future orientation and self-control with the accuracy of 45.3%. The highest predictive percentage of 31.6% was found in male students with the same important predictors as the total group. Furthermore, the results showed that male in senior students were the groups at risk of not preserving Thai traditions.
