Abstract: the purpose of this study is to describe the influences of principles’ lead-ership style, work motivation and competence toward performance of elementary schools teachers in West Martapura Subdistrict Banjar Regency. This research is descriptive-quantitative research. There are 57 samples which determined by using total sampling. The data collection techniques are questionnaire and docu-mentation. The result of this research shows that leadership style, work motivation and competence affect teachers’ performance. The competence variable is the dominant variable. Keywords: motivation, work discipline, work satisfaction, performance Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh gaya kepe-mimpinan kepala sekolah, motivasi kerja, dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Martapura Barat Kabupaten Banjar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif-deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan cara sampel total yaitu sebanyak 57 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari pe-nelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala seko-lah, motivasi kerja, dan kompetensi terhadap kinerja guru. Variabel kompetensi memiliki berpengaruh dominan terhadap kinerja guru.                        Kata Kunci: motivasi, disiplin kerja, kepuasan kerja, kinerja

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the transformational leadership head of school  on teacher performance, the effect of work motivation on teacher performance, and the influence of transformational leadership head of school and work motivation in multiple ways on teacher performance. This research was conducted at the State Elementary Schools in Tayu District, Pati Regency. The type of research used is quantitative research through correlation . The number of samples in this study was 144 respondents. The data collection technique was by giving a questionnaire to the teachers. The data analysis test used validity, reliability, classic assumption tests and multiple linear tests which were processed using IBM SPSS 24. The results showed the following: (1) Transformational leadership head of school  (X1) was proven to have a significant effect on teacher performance in State Elementary Schools in Tayu District, Pati Regency. (2) Work motivation (X2) is proven to have a significant effect on teacher performance in State Elementary Schools in Tayu District, Pati Regency. (3) Transformational leadership head of school and work motivation and compensation simultaneously proved to have a significant effect on teacher performance in State Elementary Schools in Tayu District, Pati Regency of 77,6%.

The purpose of this study was to discuss the influence of the leadership style of Madrasah heads and work motivation on the work discipline of Madrasah Aliyah teachers in the North Polongbangkeng District of Takalar District. This study aims to determine the effect of Madrasah head leadership and work motivation on the work discipline of Madrasah teachers. This study uses a type of descriptive and inferential quantitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, questionnaire and documentation. The population in this study were 101 teachers, with a total sample of 30 teachers from 101 teachers of Madrasah Aliyah Manongkoki, Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah Palleko, Madrasah Aliyah Tarbiyah Islamic Boarding School and Assalam Islamic Boarding School Madrasa in Polongbangkeng District North Takalar District. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the style of Madrasah head leadership has a significant effect on the work discipline of Madrasah Aliyah teachers in Polongbangkeng District. This means that leadership styles must be effective in order to influence the work discipline of teachers. Work motivation towards work discipline of Madrasah Aliyah teachers in Polongbangkeng Subdistrict, if the discipline wants to be improved, the motivation of the teacher's work must also be increased. Together, leadership style and work motivation have a significant effect on the work discipline of Madrasah Aliyah in Polongbangkeng District.

The population in this study were all employees of Kembayan Public Health Center, with the sampling technique of the entire population with a sample size of 77 people. This type of research is included in the explanatory research. Methods of data collection by distributing questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Methods of data analysis using Path Analysis with SPSS 22 software. The instrument used for data collection was a Likert scale model questionnaire.Based on the research results, the variables of leadership style, organizational culture, work motivation and employee performance at the Kembayan Health Center generally showed good results. From the results of the path analysis test, it can be concluded that: (1) the variable leadership style and organizational culture do not have a significant effect on work motivation. LEADERSHIP STYLE, MOTIVATION IN EFFECTIVE PATIENT ROUNDING TECHNIQUESBackground : The Nursing round is the way for a nurses to discuss more about the problems and needs of patients and is a learning process for nurses it hopes of improving cognitive, affective, psychomotor and motivated bias. The results of the interview with the head of the Raden Mattaher General Hospital operating room in Jambi found that nursing rounds were very rare.Purpose: The study is to determine the relationship between nurse motivation and leadership style of nursing rounds in the Surgical Inpatient Room of Raden Mattaher Hospital in Jambi City.Methods: The research was used a quantitative research with cross sectional approach. This study was conducted in the Surgical hospitalization rooms. The population of this study were all of nurses who worked in the Surgical Inpatient Room of Raden Mattaher Hospital in Jambi which totaling 38 nurses. The samples were taken in total sampling thenique. The data collection did by filling out a questionnaire. The data analysis used univariate and bivariate by using chi square test.Results: The results of this study indicated that of 38 respondents, 55.3% had low motivation, 71.1% with good leadership style and 57.9% who did a nursing round. There is no relationship between nurses' motivation for the nursing round with p value 0.122> 0.05. There is a relationship of leadership style to the nursing round because the p value is 0.002 <0.05.Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the leadership style influences the nursing round.Latar Belakang: Ronde keperawatan merupakan media bagi perawat untuk membahas lebih dalam masalah dan kebutuhan pasien serta merupakan suatu proses belajar bagi perawat dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif, afektif, psikomotor dan bisa termotivasi. Hasil wawancara kepada kepala ruangan bedah RSUD Raden Mattaher Jambi diketahui ronde keperawatan sangat jarang sekali dilakukan.Tujuan: Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi perawat dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap ronde keperawatan diruang rawat inap bedah RSUD Raden Mattaher Jambi.Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantiatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan diruang rawat inap bedah, dengan populasi penelitian seluruh perawat pelaksana yang berkerja diruang rawat inap bedah RSUD Raden Mattaher Jambi yang berjumlah 38 perawat. Sample diambil secara total sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan pengisian kuesioner, analisis yang digunakan adalah univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji chi square.Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 38 responden, 55,3% memiliki motivasi rendah, 71,1% dengan gaya kepemimpinan baik dan 57,9% yang melakukan ronde keperawatan. Tidak terdapat hubungan motivasi perawat terhadap ronde keperawatan dengan p value 0,002 > 0,05. Terdapat hubungan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap ronde keperawatan karena nilai p value 0,002<0,05.Kesimpulan : Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan mempengaruhi ronde keperawatan.

This study aims to determine autocratic leadership style, communication and work motivation Against Employee performance at PT. Candi Jaya Amerta. This research includes the type of quantitative research with hypothesis testing. The sample used in this study were 72 employees at PT. Candi Jaya Amerta. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis, determinant coefficient (R2), multiple correlation coefficient (R), f test, t test, and classic assumption test using SPSS version 18 for windows. Primary data in this study were obtained from questionnaires whose measurement used a Likert scale that was tested for validity and reliability. The results of this study prove that Autocratic Leadership Style, Communication and Work Motivation Against Employee Performance simultaneously affect employee Performance. communication partially affects employee performance, work motivation partially influences employee performance, job satisfaction also partially affects employee Performance.

 Improving public sevice can be achieved by having employees who have high organizational commitment. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of leadership style and work motivation to organizational commitment on employee of maritime affairs and fisheries education center. The effects were directed to diffrerentiate between transactional & transformational leadership. The sample in this reseach consist of 35 employee of maritime affairs an fisheries education center. The sampling used purposive sampling, data collection methods with questionaires. The data was processed by using Smart PLS with relation of reflective indicator at 95% confidence level. The result shows that the leadership is not significant enough to effect the organizational commitment. Leadership has significantly effect on work motivation, while work motivation has significantly effect on organizational commitment.

This research aims to know the influence of leadership styles, work motivation and discipline on performance of employees at Mandiri Bank Branch Jakarta Kota. As for the methods used in this study using the method of quantitative research. And the samples used in this study as many as 40 employees. This research uses the sampling method is saturated, whereas the methods of analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that leadership style, work motivation and discipline significant effect on performance of the employees. the leadership style effect positively on performance of the employees. The motivation of working in a positive effect on performance of the employees. The discipline of working in a positive effect on performance of the employees

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of incentives on employee performance in the ammonia operations department 1 B PT. Pupuk Sriwijaya Palembang. This research was conducted at PT. Pupuk Sriwijaya Palembang with a research sample of 55 employees in the ammonia operation section 1 B PT. Pupuk Sriwijaya Palembang. The sampling method uses saturated sampling where the entire population is used as the research sample. Data retrieval of this research was conducted at the Department of Manpower PT. Pupuk Sriwijaya  Palembang. The results of quantitative research show the magnitude of the effect of training on the performance of employees of the ammonia operations department 1 B PT. Pupuk Sriwijaya Palembang amounted to 20.2% and the remaining 79.8% explained other factors outside the variables studied in this study, including ability and expertise, knowledge, work design, personality, work motivation, leadership, leadership style, organizational culture, work environment, job satisfaction, loyalty, commitment and work discipline, also affect the performance of employees of the ammonia operations department 1 B PT. Pupuk Sriwijaya Palembang.

As educators, teachers must be able to improve their performance in carrying out tasks. To achieve high teacher performance, one of them is the motivation factor. Motivation is the driving force for someone to do an activity that is manifested in the form of a real action. Thus the higher the motivation of someone, the higher the performance and vice versa, the lower the motivation of a person, the lower the performance. The success of teacher performance will be seen if there is motivation from the teacher himself and has the support of the madrasa headmaster. Therefore, in addition to the teacher himself who is trying to improve the quality of his performance, the madrasa also seeks to establish good leadership as an empowerment of teachers and madrasa members so that they have good performance in carrying out their duties. This type of research is quantitative research that aims to find answers about the questions in the research based on the actual situation so that it is obtained about the prevailing picture in relation to the correlation between the leadership style of madrasah leaders and teacher work motivation on teacher performance in MAN 3 Nganjuk. The conclusions based on data analysis are: Madrasah headship leadership and teacher work motivation together have positive and significant influence on teacher performance. Good madrasah head leadership and high teacher work motivation will make teachers increasingly improve performance in carrying out their duties.
