Textbook is one of the form of teaching material and a significant guide for teachers and students. One of the factors determining student success in learning activity is the quality of the textbook. Learning vocabulary plays a vital role in all language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Thus the author decided to analyze the vocabulary materials in Bahasa Inggris Kelas XI textbook published by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. This analysis needs to be done to prove whether or not this textbook has sufficient quality to develop students' vocabulary. This research will be conducted using a qualitative research approach. The data collection method uses descriptive method because the author focuses on the vocabulary material in each chapter of the textbook. The data is analyzed using the instrument of textbook assessment by Houtz elements (1955). The results of the analysis that has been carried out shows that the textbook is suitable to be used as teaching material for the learning process in schools.

AbstractViolation of the speech maxim in the Presidential Candidates Election Debate of theRepublic of indonesia In 2019.This research was aimed at describing the forms of violationof the speech act maxim and describing the functions of violationofspeech act maxim in thepresidential candidate election debate of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. This research wasqualitative, and conducted by using the descriptive method. The soutce of data was thePresidential Candidate Election Debate of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019. The researchresults of speech maxim violation in the Presidential Candidate Election Debate of theRepublic of Indonesia in 2019 consist of 5 research problems, which are: (1) the form ofquantity of maxim violation, (2) the form of quality of maxim violation, (3) the form of relevanceof maxim violation, (4) the form of method of maxim violation, and (5) the functions of speechacts of maxim violation. The form of quantity maxim violation consists of statements containinganswers that comprise the information needed. The form of quality maxim violation consists ofstatements that contain answers which are less convincing, and contain answers which aresimilar or agree to the questions, and also contain answers which the evidence is not true. Theform of relevance maxim violation consists of statements which contain answers that are notrelevance with the questions and contain the contents of the correct answer but are notrelevance. The form of method maxim violation consists of statements which containambiguous answers, and contain long and wordy answers. The function of the speech acts hasfour functions: Representative function which consists of statements of affirmation, conclusion,and facts. Expressive function consists of statements of praise, difficulty, happiness, andmisery. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif,dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini ialah debat pemilihan calon PresidenRepublik Indonesia tahun 2019. Hasil penelitian dari pelanggaran maksim tutur dalam debatPemilihan Calon Presiden Republik Indonesia tahun 2019 ini terdiri dari lima rumusanmasalah yaitu : (1) wujud pelanggaran maksim kuantitas, (2) wujud pelanggaran maksimkualitas, (3) wujud pelanggaran maksim relevansi, (4) wujud pelanggaran maksim cara, dan(5) fungsi tindak tutur pelanggaran maksim. Wujud pelanggaran maksim kuantitas terdiri daripernyataan yang mengandung jawaban yang melebihi informasi yang dibutuhkan. Wujudpelanggaran maksim kualitas berupa pernyataan yang mengandung jawaban yang kurangmeyakinkan, mengandung jawaban yang sama atau sependapat, dan mengandung jawabanyang bukti kebenarannya tidak benar. Wujud pelanggaran maksim relevansi terdiri daripernyataan yang mengandung jawaban yang tidak sesuai dengan pertanyaan, danmengandung isi jawaban yang benar tapi tidak sesuai. Wujud pelanggaran maksim cara terdiridari pernyataan yang mengandung jawaban yang ambigu, dan mengandung jawaban panjanglebar, bertele-tele. Fungsi tindak tutur memiliki empat fungsi yaitu: Fungsi representatif yangterdiri dari pernyataan penegasan, kesimpulan, fakta. Fungsi ekspresif terdiri dari pernyataanmemuji, kesulitan, kesenangan, kesengsaraan. Fungsi direktif terdiri dari pernyataanmenyuruh, memberi saran, perintah. The millennial’s interest towards Islamic da’wah is decreased significantly, caused by the da’wah approach and strategy which are still conservative, monotonous, and only delivered on lecturing way. In fact, on the other hand, the millennial generation expects an inspirational, modern, elastic, dynamic, innovative, and entertaining da’wah. This study aims to describe, analyze, and interpret the implications of inspirational da’wah conducted by the Da’wah Management department of IAIN Tulungagung in increasing the young generation's interest in Islamic teachings and da’wah. In principle, inspirational da’wah has been carried out by Suryadharma Ali, the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia on 2009-2014, who stated that one of the main jobs of UIN and IAIN is to maintain and develop scientific traditions in the field of Islamic studies which are increasingly less desirable by the community because there has been a change in community orientation toward Islamic da’wah. So, the quality of Islamic institutions in Indonesia needs to do the more serious, systematic, and measurable efforts in order to increase the quality of Islamic da’wah, as well as PTKIN graduates must be more competitive. The ideas of this article inspired by the Grand Theory of Medan Da’wah promoted by K.H. Ahmad Muwafiq that the success of the da’wah is influenced by the theological, cultural, and object of the da’wah when the implementation of the Islamic da’wah is delivered. Furthermore, the Islamic da’wah is an inspiration to realize the teachings of Islam in personal and social life in line with the culture of the society in terms of life that aim to uphold amar ma'ruf and nahi munkar. This is qualitative research with a descriptive method of phenomenological analysis. While the results of the study are: First, Inspirational da’wah has implications for increasing trends and millennial generation interest for IAIN Tulungagung students towards Islamic da’wah. Second, the inspirational da’wah referred to in this study is the iain tulungagung hijaber community, inspirational da’wah comedy, electronic da’wah bulletin, da’wah literacy, and online da’wah through the official campus website. Keywords: Inspirational Da’wah, Millenial Generation, IAIN Tulungagung

ABSTRAKSI: Sebagai LPTK (Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan), UPI (Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia) perlu melakukan suatu kajian untuk merancang sistem pengelolaan keuangan perguruan tinggi berbasis aktivitas dengan metode ABC (Activity-Based Costing), yang diharapkan akan dapat mengukur secara lebih rinci aktivitas-aktivitas utama dan pendukung dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh Fakultas yang ada di lingkungan UPI menyatakan kesiapan untuk menerapkan sistem ABC. Berdasarkan FGD (Focus Group Discussion), terdapat beberapa kendala yang dihadapi untuk menerapkan sistem ABC di UPI di Bandung, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Secara keseluruhan diperoleh hasil bahwa sistem ABC dapat diterapkan di UPI selama ada niat dan kerjasama yang baik dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan pimpinan Universitas.KATA KUNCI: Biaya Pendidikan Berbasis Kegiatan; Uang Kuliah Tunggal; Mutu Pendidikan; Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia; Niat dan Kerjasama yang Baik. ABSTRACT: “The Implementation of Activity-Based Costing to Improve the Quality of Education in Higher Education Institutions: A Case Study of Indonesia University of Education”. As an institute of teacher training and education, UPI (Indonesia University of Education) needs to conduct a study on designing college financial management systems based on activity through the method of ABC (Activity-Based Costing), that is expected to be able to measure in more detail the main and supporting activities in the implementation of education. The results show that all Faculties at UPI declare their readiness to implement the ABC system. Based on the FGD (Focus Group Discussion), there are several problems in implementing ABC system at UPI in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The COVID-19 virus pandemic also had a significant impact on the educational system. This article presents the results of a research aimed at examining teachers' attitudes about the quality of online teaching during the COVID-19 virus pandemic. A descriptive research method and survey technique were applied. The sample included 274 teachers from the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The presented results indicate that the largest number of teachers with online teaching met for the first time during the pandemic and that until then they had no experience with distance learning. The platforms most often used by teachers in working with students are: Google Classroom, Zoom, Edmodo, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Also, a large number of teachers answered that they will partially apply online teaching after the pandemic, emphasizing that contact teaching is irreplaceable and of much higher quality, because students are more engaged, prepared and committed to school obligations. Looking at it objectively, teachers most often rated the quality of online teaching during the pandemic as average, more precisely with a grade of three. Online teaching during the pandemic required great dedication and teacher engagement, as well as good management of information and communication technologies and developed digital competencies of both teachers and students. The realization of online teaching was a challenge for teachers, but also the only possibility and solution to continue and actively carry out educational work during the pandemic and emergency situation.

The quality of education services is a "fixed price" in realizing the quality of education by the objectives of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to determine the importance of management functions in improving the quality of education in the Public Senior High School (SMAN) 1 Biak. A qualitative research approach carried out at Biak 1 High School located in Biak Numfor Regency, West Papua. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interviews, literature study, and documentation. The data analysis technique is done descriptively in compiling information systematically, from existing data so that it is easily understood and interpreted. The results showed that the management functions applied in the Biak Kota 1 High School were: planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling. In the process seen based on the condition of the school in implementing management functions. These results provide good results from every aspect of the implementation of management functions.

Kebijakan e-learning yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia memberikan pembelajaran dengan memudahkan pendidik membuat media dengan waktu terbatas. Media/aplikasi berbasis internet selain memberikan kemudahan bagi guru, juga akan memberikan warna lain dalam proses pembelajaran. Peserta didik tidak akan mudah merasa bosan saat mendengarkan penjelasan/mengerjakan sesuatu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan evaluasi penggunaan e-learning di Taman Kanak-kanak di Provinsi Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif yang digunakan secara langsung untuk menggambarkan detail narasumber dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan guru di Taman Kanak-kanak di Kabupaten Bantul dan Sleman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan ini sangat baik dan membantu memfasilitasi semua pihak baik guru maupun siswa. Namun di sisi lain, e-learning masih kurang diminati oleh sebagian pendidik. Pendidik beranggapan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi/media berbasis internet sangat membingungkan. Pendidik akan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup banyak untuk mempelajari cara mengoperasikan komputer/laptop sebelum mereka mulai mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Sedangkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di beberapa sekolah termasuk dalam program ekstrakurikuler. Program ini tidak diikuti oleh semua siswa dan terbatas pada pilihan, tidak wajib. Oleh karena itu, dampak penggunaan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran tidak dapat dirasakan oleh semua siswa. Hanya sedikit siswa yang dapat menggunakan teknologi ini dalam pembelajaran. Kementerian Pendidikan telah menyediakan wadah bagi pendidik untuk mengakses beberapa media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Selain Kementerian Pendidikan, pusat pengembangan Taman Kanak-Kanak Provinsi juga telah melaksanakan pendidikan terkait pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di Taman Kanak-Kanak. Namun kurangnya sosialisasi menyebabkan pendidik tidak mendapatkan informasi dan kurang pengetahuan untuk dapat mengaksesnya. The e-learning policy is carried out by the Indonesian government in learning to provide learning by making it easier for educators to create media with limited time. Internet-based media/applications in addition to making it easier for teachers, will also provide other colors in the learning process. Learners will not feel bored easily when listening to explanations/doing something. This study aims to explain the evaluation of the using of e-learning in the kindergartens in Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. The method that is applied for this study is a qualitative analysis which uses directly to portray the detail interviewees by conducting an in-depth interview with the teachers in kindergartens in Bantul and Sleman districts. The results of this study indicate that this policy is very good and helps facilitate all parties both teachers and students. However, on the other hand, e-learning is apparently still lacking interest by some educators. Educators assume that the use of application/internet-based media is very confusing. Educators will need a considerable amount of time to learn how to operate a computer/laptop before they begin to develop learning media. On the other hand, technology-based learning in several schools is included in the extracurricular program. This program is not attended by all students and is limited to optional, not mandatory. Therefore, that the impact of the use of technology in the learning process cannot be felt by all students. Only a few students are able to use this technology in learning. The Ministry of Education has provided a platform for educators to access some technology-based learning media. In addition to the Ministry of Education, the Provincial Kindergartens development center has also conducted education related to technology-based learning in kindergartens. However, the lack of socialization causes educators not to get information and lack the knowledge to be able to access it.

E-learning as one of the benefits of the internet is very supportive for teaching and learning process. Therefore, the mastery ability of e-learning teacher become the key word in e-learning activity in education. The use of computers for the e-learning process using moodle and geogebra in learning mathematics plays an important role as a medium to create effective and efficient learning for teachers in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Godean, SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Godean, SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Minggir, SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir, SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Mlati. The existence of e-learning will facilitate teachers and students in receiving mathematics lessons and also enhance the quality of teaching and learning. The accompaniment of the implementation of IbM training using e-learning using moodle combined with geogebra was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Godean and resulted in e-learning learning media. The mentoring also resulted in an understanding with the principal that the training could be continued for other subjects.

The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia issued a policy to temporarily close educational activities held in schools. This policy resulted in several changes and caused a transition in the process of implementing PJOK learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of the implementation of physical education, sports and health learning in State Junior High Schools in Salatiga during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data analysis technique in this study used the Analysis Interactive Model technique from Miles and Huberman. The results of the study indicated that PJOK teachers were obliged to make learning tools such as syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), semester program (Promes) and annual program (Prota). The implementation of online learning is carried out using various internet-based applications including Google Classroom, Google From and WhatsApp (WA) as the main communication media for teachers and students for learning reminders and assignments. Learning assessments during the Covid-19 pandemic are designed to encourage meaningful learning activities for students in the form of assignments and teacher observations of students during the online learning process.

Abstract. An effort to improve the quality of auditing in Indonesia is achieved by applying the latest auditing standards, which refer to the International Standards on Auditing (ISA). The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of the implementation of auditing standards based on International Standards on Auditing (ISA) towards audit quality. Independent variables of this research is the effects of the implementation of auditing standards based on International Standards on Auditing (ISA) towards audit quality. The dependent variable of this research is audit quality. The method that was used in this research is descriptive method by using the survey research approach of data. The research was employed for a sample consisting of 40 auditors who work at Public Accounting Firm in Bandung which are registered in Financial Services Authority (FSA) and Big Four Public Accounting Firm . The analysis method that was used in this research is simple linear regression anlysis. The result shows that the implementation of auditing standards based on International Standards on Auditing (ISA) has a significant influence on the audit quality at 15,2%, and the rest of 84,2% is influenced by other variables which are not included in this research.Keywords: international standards on auditing (isa);  audit quality Abstrak. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas audit di Indonesia adalah dengan diterapkannya standar audit yang mengacu kepada International Standards on Auditing (ISA) oleh Institut Akuntan Publik Indonesia (IAPI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kembali apakah pelaksanaan standar audit berbasis ISA telah berpengaruh terhadap kualitas audit pada Kantor Akuntan Publik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan variabel independen yaitu pelaksanaan standar audit berbasis ISA, sedangkan variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitas audit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian survey data. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 40 auditor pada Kantor Akuntan Publik Komisariat Wilayah Bandung yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan standar audit berbasis ISA berpengaruh secara signifikan sebesar 51,6% terhadap kualitas audit, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 48,4% dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian ini.Kata Kunci: international standards on auditing (isa); kualitas  audit

PENGEMBANGAN HANDOUT BERBASIS KONTEKSTUAL PADA PELAJARAN BIOLOGI MATERI BIOTEKNOLOGI UNTUK SISWA KELAS XII SMK NEGERI 02 BATU   Fega Rahmayani1, Iin Hindun1, Atok Miftachul Hudha1 1Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universtias Muhammadiyah Malang, e-mail : [email protected]   ABSTRACT The teaching learning activity in SMK is inappropriate with the purpose of teaching and learning in SMK, which the students are taught to be able to apply the materials in the real life. Teaching material is taken from the biology book of SMA that the content is theoretically, so the explanation on the material is unsuitable and not applicative that makes the student less in ability and skill for application in daily life. From the problem above, this research purpose on developing the contextual basic handout of the biological course in biotechnology material in SMK N 02 Batu.This research is developing research based on research and development by Sugiyono’s model that use a few developing steps, those are: (1) Potential and problem, (2) Collecting data, (3) Product design, (4) Validation design, (5) Design revision, (6) Try out the product, (7) Product revision. The data collecting methods is using validation from the expert of handout, material expert and try out to the study club. The technique of analyze data using quantitative and qualitative data. The result of quantitative data is the percentage of handout product value that classify in the handout quality and the result of qualitative data come from comment and advise of validator and try out in SMK.The result quality of the handout found that the developing contextual basic handout reach out the good quality after following the procedure of validation with percentage 80.90% and try out to the student that use the handout with percentage very good, 97.75% and get the positive respond from student with percentage 90.82%. From the whole of the contextual basic handout have a good quality and appropriate in use for teaching material of Biology in teaching learning process in SMK N 02 Batu.   Keywords: Contextual Basic Handout, Development and Quality of Handout.
