This study aims to analyze how traditional Minahasa dances can be used as a source of character education, through an analytical approach to cultural values. This study uses a qualitative method, because it is a procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or oral data in the Minahasa community. It is also supported by an ethnographic method that focuses on personal experience, and participation born from the field observation process. The results of the research that become cultural values as a source of character education are building Minahasa identity such as courage, agility, valor and especially togetherness. This can be seen in the character of the dancer who is hard, disciplined and firm, mirrors the attitude of uniting and unifying each other, the attitude of chivalry and soldiering. The dancers wear red Minahasa woven clothes and make-up that looks firm and full of authority and has an attitude of courage

Kerusakan lingkungan hidup yang terjadi adalah karena ulah tangan manusia itu sendiri yaitu kurangnya rasa peduli lingkungan yang dimiliki. Oleh karenanya, nilai-nilai budaya peduli lingkungan ini akan lebih baik jika ditanamkan sejak dini pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di Sekolah Menengah Assalihiyah Thungphla, Khokpho, Pattani, Thailand Selatan beserta faktor-faktor yang menjadi penunjang dan penghambat dalam penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan pada siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di Sekolah Menengah Assalihiyah dititikberatkan pada masalah menjaga kebersihan lingkungan yang berdasarkan hadits Rasulullah Saw. yaitu kebersihan merupakan bagian dari iman. Penanaman karakter peduli lingkungan ini termasuk realisasi program Green Environment seperti yang berlaku di negara Indonesia. Pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan diberikan dengan berbagai model salah satunya keteladanan. Kedua,  faktor penunjang pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan di sini adalah kebiasaan siswa di rumah yang rajin dan peran serta guru. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah sifat malas siswa dan kondisi luar masyarakat yang berbeda. The environmental damage that occurs is because of the human hands themselves, namely the lack of a sense of care for the environment they have. Therefore, cultural values that care about the environment will be better if they are instilled early on in the students. This study aims to find out the environmentally caring character education in Assalihiyah Thungphla Middle School, Khokpho, Pattani, Southern Thailand along with the factors that are supporting and inhibiting the cultivation of environmental caring characters in students. This type of research is field research and is qualitative descriptive. Data of this study were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of character education in Assalihiyah Middle School was focused on the problem of maintaining environmental cleanliness. The cultivation of character caring for the environment includes the realization of the Green Environment program as applicable in Indonesia. Environmental care character education is provided with various models, one of which is exemplary. The supporting factors for character education in the environment here are the habit of diligent home students and the participation of teachers, while the inhibiting factor is the laziness of students and different conditions outside the community.

Indonesia as a multicultural country has a rich range of performing arts. These assets encourage artists and the government to conduct festivals, exhibitions, and cultural exchanges. However, the programs are not always managed optimally, particularly with regards to curatorial management. This paper presents a study aiming at: (1) identifying the roles of curator in conducting performing art festivals to sustain the culture; (2) investigating challenges faced by the curators in doing their tasks. A descriptive qualitative method in the form of a case study was employed using three instruments, namely field observation, interview, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed to define the principles of curatorial management and its role in conducting performing art festivals. It was revealed during the interviews that there were no standard operational procedures (SOP) yet in doing curatorial tasks, so the curators identified and undertook tasks under their own initiative. Some curators stated that their lack of curatorial knowledge made them lack the confidence to invite the well-known artists. As a result, they tended to invite the artists based on pre-existing familiarity. A further challenge was the lack of official authority which hampered the execution of curat. In this research there is no specific information. The main instrument of this research is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques in this study are observation techniques. This type of observation in this study is non-participant because the subject under study is a novel. Analyzing research data adjusted to the flow of analyzing qualitative research data. The research data are cultural values in the context of character education consisting of 12. Data kebahasaan sering merekam nilai budaya. Hanya saja, data kebahasaan masih belum mendapat perhatian untuk kepentingan analisis terhadap dinamikasosial masyarakat yang bersumber pada nilai-nilai budaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis cerita humor bahasa Jawa Ngapak yang mengandung nilai-nilai budaya dan cara budaya dikonstruksi melalui melalui bahasa humor. Objek kajian tulisan ini adalah wacana humor. Oleh karena wacana humor menggunakan media teks dan tuturan, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah linguistik-antropologi. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa ucapan, tulisan, atau perilaku yang diamati, dengan menggunakan tehnik simak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sehat, ajaran agama, dan budaya berbagi terhadap sesama ditemukan dalam humor bahasa Jawa Ngapak itu. Budaya-budaya itu dikontruksi melalui bahasa Jawa Ngapak dalam suasana humor menampilkan realitas masyarakat penutur Ngapak. Ini berarti nilai-nilai budaya ditemukan dalam humor, berupa percakapan manusia maupun percakapan tokoh cerita fable, yang dikonstruksi melalui bahasa Jawa Ngapak untuk merefleksikan realitas. Linguistic data that embody cultural values have not been taken into consideration in analyzing social dynamics. The study aimed at investigating Ngapak Javanese humor story which contained cultural values, and how culture was constructed through the language of humor. Therefore, the humonrous discourses became the main object of the research. The method used in this research is a qualitative which produced descriptive data in the form of speech, written, or observed behavior, and supported with listening technique. As humorous discourses used speech and text media, the study utilized a linguistic-anthropology approach. Healthy life culture, religious teachings, and the culture of sharing were found in the Ngapak Javanese humor stories. These cultures were constructed through the language of humor by the Javanese Ngapak community. In addition, the culture constructed through the Ngapak Javanese language in a humorous atmosphere displayed the reality of the Ngapak-speaking community. This can be concluded that cultural values found in humor, in the form of human speech and fable character conversations constructed through the Ngapak Javanese language displayed the reality of social dynamics.

ABSTRACT Character education is one of the focus of educational goals in Indonesia. The importance of character education because of the declining ethics, morale of learners and the increasing popularity of student delinquency, such as brawl and drug addicts. Implementation of character education is very important to evaluate how the process and results. The research was conducted at SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. The purpose of this study describes the implementation of lisa program, libra, patujar applied in SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. Knowing the value of characters generated in the program lisa, libra, patujar applied in SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. The research method used is qualitative method with data collection technique, observation, interview and documentation. Suggestion of research result that is importance of socialization about character education to learners, teachers and society to support the embodiment of school program libra libra patujar. Schools should involve parents and community as partners in the coaching and habituation of student characters. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan implementasi program lisa, libra, patujar yang diterapkan di SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. Mengetahui nilai karakter yang dihasilkan dalam program lisa, libra, patujar yang diterapkan di SMPN 1 Cilamaya Wetan. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Saran hasil penelitian yaitu pentingnya sosialisasi mengenai pendidikan karakter kepada peserta didik, guru dan masyarakat untuk menunjang keterwujudan program sekolah lisa libra patujar. The purpose of this study was to investigate the cultural values in the ritual of Bulangan Londong Sembangan Suke Barata as part of the Toraja indigenous people life. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Meanwhile, the respondents involved in this study include culturist, linguists, and the Toraja community. The research instruments used in this study were document files, interviews with the subjects, and observations using a video recorder that recorded the ritual process of Bulangan Londong Sembangan Suke Barata. The data analysis technique in this study includes three main steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the cultural values contained in the rituals of the Bulang Londong Sembangan Suke Barata were 'Manuk' which symbolized the value of the work ethic, 'Ussembang Suke Barata' which represented the religious value of bamboo slashed by 'Mina', and 'Kayunan Londong' which personifies the leader's patriotic value.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki nilai-nilai budaya dari ritual bulangan londong sembangan suke barata dari masyarakat adat Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Responden penelitian ini adalah budayawan, ahli bahasa, dan komunitas Toraja. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah file dokumen, wawancara dengan subjek, dan pengamatan dengan menggunakan perekam video pada ritual bulangan londong sembangan suke barata. Teknik analisis data mencakup tiga langkah utama, pengurangan data, presentasi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam ritual bulangan londong sembangan suke barata adalah manuk yang melambangkan nilai etos kerja, ussembang suke barata yang mewakili nilai religius bambu yang ditebas oleh mina, dan kayunan londong sebagai personifikasi nilai patriotik pemimpin.

Abstract: According to the Minister of Health regulation No. 290 Year 2008 article 1 which is relevant to medical intervention issues, informed consent has to be signed by the patient prior to any medical intervention after the patient has been informed completely about the purpose and the risk of certain intervention. In general, medical doctors already admits that informed consent is an important part of the ethical code of their profession. Albeit, in certain circumstances such as in emergency cases with life or physical handicap threatening, the medical doctors are demanded to do medical intervention ‘ignoring’ the informed consent. This study was aimed to obtain the implementation of informed consent in Emergency Care Unit at Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado, the central referral hospital in East Indonesia. In this study, we used qualitative method through interview, direct field observation, and document observation as secondary data. The results showed that informed consent was implemented at the Emergencey Care Unit, however, in emergency cases, informed consent was given orally, followed by signing it as soon as the intervention had been completely performed. Conclusion: Informed consent was implemented in every medical intervention at Prof. Dr. R. D. Umumnya dokter telah mengetahui dan mengakui bahwa persetujuan tindakan medik atau informed consent ialah bagian kode etik profesi sebelum diatur dalam ketentuan undang-undang tentang rumah sakit, praktik kedokteran, maupun peraturan menteri kesehatan. Dalam keadaan tertentu dokter juga dituntut untuk dapat segera melaksanakan tindakan medis dan mengesampingkan informed consent antara lain dalam keadaan gawat darurat dimana terdapat ancaman kematian atau kecacatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyelenggaran persetujuan tindakan medik di Instalasi Gawat Darurat RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou yang merupakan rumah sakit pusat rujukan di Indonesia Timur. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif melalui wawancara, pengamatan langsung di lapangan, dan observasi dokumen sebagai data sekunder. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa informed consent di Instalasi Gawat Darurat masih tetap dipakai, walaupun pada keadaan gawat darurat persetujuan diberikan secara lisan baru setelah selesai tindakan baru dimintakan tanda tangan pada lembar informed consent. Simpulan: Informed consent tetap diperlukan untuk setiap tindakan kedokteran yang dilakukan di RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou termasuk pada Instalasi Gawat Darurat.Kata kunci: informed consent, emergency unit care

<p><em>Abstrak - </em><strong>Program Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang harus diikuti oleh setiap mahasiswa keguruan termasuk mahasiswa PAUD. Pelaksanaan mata pelajaran PPL berbeda dengan mata pelajaran lainnya yang diikuti di kelas atau dilaksanakan di kampus baik secara teori maupun praktik. Berbeda halnya mata pelajaran PPL adalah mata pelajaran dalam bentuk praktik pengalaman lapangan sebagaimana kegiatan guru di sekolah-sekolah umumnya.</strong> <strong>Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif (<em>qualitative research)</em>. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan  deskriptif analitik, yaitu data dideskripsikan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dan dimaknai secara mendalam berdasarkan perspektif emik yaitu penyajian data secara alamiah tanpa melakukan suatu manipulasi atau perlakuan terhadap subjek yang diteliti (Bogdan dan Taylor, 1975:31).</strong> <strong>Kompetensi mahasiswa PPL meningkat ditandai dengan meningkatnya 4 kompetensi yaitu : kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi professional, dan kompetensi sosial. Pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh mahasiwa PPL, guru pamong, dan dosen pembimbing memiliki peran yang sangat besar pengaruhnya dalam pelaksanaan PPL. Sedangkan peran kelompok PPL dan kepala sekolah kurang memiliki peran dalam pelaksanaan PPL.</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Kata Kunci -</em></strong> <em>Mahasiswa PPL, Kompetensi Pedagogik, Kompetensi Kepribadian, Kompetensi Profesional, Kompetensi Sosial</em></p><p> </p><p><em>Abstract</em> - <strong>Field Experience Program (PPL) is one of the subjects that should be followed by every student teacher including PAUD students. The implementation of PPL subjects is different from other subjects that are attended in class or held on campus in both theory and practice. In contrast to PPL subjects are subjects in the form of field experience practices as are the activities of teachers in general schools. The method used in this study is a qualitative method (<em>qualitative research</em>). This study uses descriptive analytic approach, which is descriptive descriptive data, and is interpreted in depth based on the perspective of emic that is the presentation of data naturally without doing a manipulation or treatment of the subjects studied (Bogdan and Taylor, 1975: 31). Competence of PPL students is marked by increasing the four competencies: pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence, and social competence. The knowledge that PPL students, pamong teachers, and lecturers have has an enormous role in PPL implementation. This paper examines the role of parents as a source of character education for early childhood. This study was conducted using the library research method. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents is a determining factor for children's development, both physically and mentally, is the role of both parents as the first and main educators for children who are born until they are adults. In the process of forming knowledge, various parenting styles conveyed by parents are very important. Education in the family plays a very important role in developing the character, personality, cultural values, religious and moral values ​​, and simple skills of children. The role of parents in influencing the character of children is no longer borne by the mother only. The role of the father in shaping the character of the child is very large. Fathers are still obliged to participate in maintaining interactions with their children, such as inviting them to talk, joke, and play.
