PT. MRK Diagnostics is a company engaged in the health sector, especially the provider of medical laboratory equipment in Indonesia. Determination of technicians who are currently running to deal with damage to medical devices is still ineffective because the determination is still checking the availability of technicians manually, so that it will make handling the damage slower. Therefore we need a system that can assist in determining the person in charge technicians to repair the tool. So that in determining the person in charge, this technician will be able to be done precisely and quickly. The criteria used to determine PIC are expertise, discipline, communication and years of service. Each criterion has sub-criteria as well as predetermined weights and values. The decision support system to determine the person-in-charge technicians for medical device repair uses an exponential comparison method that generates a list of priority technicians to perform equipment repair based on calculated and compared values System testing is carried out on information systems experts and users using a questionnaire instrument. Based on expert information systems testing, this system is declared very feasible with a value of 91.7% of the results of system expert testing and 80% based on user testing.

212 Mart Rambutan Street on Pekanbaru City is a company engaged in retail. Meeting the needs of consumers and making the right decision in determining the sales strategy is a must. One way to find out market conditions is to observe sales transaction data using data mining. The data mining method commonly used to analyze market basket (Market Basket Analysis) is the Association Rule. The Association Rule can provide product recommendations and promotions, so that the marketing strategy is more targeted and the items promoted are the customer's needs. At 212 Mart, the determination of product promotion is obtained from the analysis of sales transaction data reports, which are based on the most sold products and the expiration date. Often the product being promoted does not fit the customer's needs. The purpose of this study is to apply the K-Medoids algorithm for clustering on FP-Growth in producing product recommendation rules on a large number of datasets so that they can provide technical recommendations / new ways to the 212 Mart in determining product promotions. The results obtained are from the experiments the number of clusters 3 to 9 obtained optimal clusters of 3 clusters based on the validity test of the Davies Bouldin Index with a value of 0.678. With a minimum support value of 5% - 9% and a minimum value of 50% confidence, the result is that the Association Rule is found only in cluster 3 with 5 rules.

Humans need vitamin A and obtain essential vitamin A by conversion of plant foods rich in provitamin A and/or absorption of preformed vitamin A from foods of animal origin. The determination of the vitamin A value of plant foods rich in provitamin A is important but has challenges. The aim of this paper is to review the progress over last 80 years following the discovery on the conversion of β-carotene to vitamin A and the various techniques including stable isotope technologies that have been developed to determine vitamin A values of plant provitamin A (mainly β-carotene). These include applications from using radioactive β-carotene and vitamin A, depletion-repletion with vitamin A and β-carotene, and measuring postprandial chylomicron fractions after feeding a β-carotene rich diet, to using stable isotopes as tracers to follow the absorption and conversion of plant food provitamin A carotenoids (mainly β-carotene) in humans. These approaches have greatly promoted our understanding of the absorption and conversion of β-carotene to vitamin A. Stable isotope labeled plant foods are useful for determining the overall bioavailability of provitamin A carotenoids from specific foods. Locally obtained plant foods can provide vitamin A and prevent deficiency of vitamin A, a remaining worldwide concern.

Abstract A basic set of experiments for the determination of mechanical properties of sands is described. This includes the determination of basic physical and mechanical properties, as conventionally applied in soil mechanics, as well as some additional experiments, which provide further information on mechanical properties of granular soils. These additional experiments allow for determination of steady state and instability lines, stress-strain relations for isotropic loading and pure shearing, and simple cyclic shearing tests. Unconventional oedometric experiments are also presented. Necessary laboratory equipment is described, which includes a triaxial apparatus equipped with local strain gauges, an oedometer capable of measuring lateral stresses and a simple cyclic shearing apparatus. The above experiments provide additional information on soil’s properties, which is useful in studying the following phenomena: pre-failure deformations of sand including cyclic loading compaction, pore-pressure generation and liquefaction, both static and caused by cyclic loadings, the effect of sand initial anisotropy and various instabilities. An important feature of the experiments described is that they make it possible to determine the initial state of sand, defined as either contractive or dilative. Experimental results for the “Gdynia” model sand are shown.

The distinctive quality of the new social structure is that information becomes the only factor of production. In today's organizations, public administrators are directly responsible for applying information to administrative processes. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, a knowledge based organization requires every employee to take responsibility for achieving efficiency. This has increased the importance of information systems in the decision-making process. Information systems consist of computer and communication technology, data base management and model management and include activity processing system, management information system, decision support systems, senior management information system, expert systems and office automation systems. Information systems in the health sector aim at the management and provision of preventive and curative health services. The use of information systems in healthcare has the benefits of increasing service quality, shortening treatment processes, maximizing efficiency of the time, labour and medical devices. The use of information systems for clinical decision making and reducing medical errors in the healthcare industry dates back to the 1960s. Clinical information systems involve processing, storing and re-accessing information that supports patient care in a hospital. Clinical information systems are systems that are directly or indirectly related to patient care. These systems include electronic health/patient records, clinical decision support systems, nurse information systems, patient tracking systems, tele-medicine, case mix and smart card applications. Diagnosis-treatment systems are information-based systems used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. It consists of laboratory information systems, picture archiving and communication system, pharmacy information system, radiology information system, nuclear medicine information system. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of health information system applications in Turkey. The failure of most startups in Indonesia is caused by team performance that is not solid and competent. Programmers are an integral profession in a startup team. The development of social media can be used as a strategic tool for recruiting the best programmer candidates in a company. This strategic tool is in the form of an automatic classification system of social media posting from prospective programmers. The classification results are expected to be able to predict the performance patterns of each candidate with a predicate of good or bad performance. The classification method with the best accuracy needs to be chosen in order to get an effective strategic tool so that a comparison of several methods is needed. This study compares classification methods including the Support Vector Machines (SVM) algorithm, Random Forest (RF) and Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD). The classification results show the percentage of accuracy with k = 10 cross validation for the SVM algorithm reaches 81.3%, RF at 74.4%, and SGD at 80.1% so that the SVM method is chosen as a model of programmer performance classification on social media activities.

Abstract The defects into the hexagonal network of a sp2-hybridized carbon atom have been demonstrated to have a significant influence on intrinsic properties of graphene systems. In this paper, we presented a study of temperature-dependent Raman spectra of G peak and D’ band at low temperatures from 78 to 318 K in defective monolayer to few-layer graphene induced by ion C+ bombardment under the determination of vacancy uniformity. Defects lead to the increase of the negative temperature coefficient of G peak, with a value almost identical to that of D’ band. However, the variation of frequency and linewidth of G peak with layer number is contrary to D’ band. It derives from the related electron-phonon interaction in G and D’ phonon in the disorder-induced Raman scattering process. Our results are helpful to understand the mechanism of temperature-dependent phonons in graphene-based materials and provide valuable information on thermal properties of defects for the application of graphene-based devices.

Abstract Issue Given the importance, of cloud environments for mobile telemedicine information systems, focus is given in this paper on the challenges rising. We discuss the pros of the access to computing services and resources on demand without having own infrastructures, and the need of advanced interoperability data formats and application program interfaces (APIs) to facilitate the usage of the infrastructure. Description of the problem Cloud-Oriented Architecture (COA) describes the architecture, where applications act as services and serve other applications in the cloud environment. The aim is IT infrastructure and software applications to be optimized for their use in cloud computing environments. But what happens in the specific field of health as data interoperability for mobile telemedicine information systems? Results Two architectures were presented using a patient's compliance and engagement solution. A simple Representational State Transfer (REST) based architectural style was implemented in a three-layered architecture first and then compared to a cloud federation model. In the second the interaction goes through the federation via a middleware layer. Internal operations of cloud providers in the federation are still transparent to the cloud users. The middleware layer aims to coordinate the interaction with cloud users and providers in the federation. But, to avoid delays in those interactions interoperability of data formats and APIs. Lessons A Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) based application was developed. Mobile telemedicine information systems are a strong instrument in patients' compliance. Many systems have proved that the used resources combined can solve clinical and administrative problems in a secure environment. Key messages The use of cloud is wide spread in the health sector. The challenge is to combine this infrastructure into one federated platform and maximize the added value by using advanced interoperability data formats and APIs.
