Tourism is one of the sector that manage to grow exponentially, it can be seen from the increase in the income of the country from tourism sector which is expected to support the country economic' growth (Ing Wu cited in Putri et al., 2018). Tourism development in Indonesia currently based on sustainable tourism development. This is happened because the policy of sustainable tourism development will use the natural resources and human resources for the long term (Sharpley, 2000). Bromo Tengger Semeru National park area is one of the 10 priority destination that is created by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia to expedite sustainable tourism development in Indonesia. As one of the main tourism destination in Indonesia, Bromo Tengger Semeru National park area has many attributes that can attract domestic and international tourists namely: the variety of attraction with more than 10 tourist attractions, local culture attribute, history and natural resources that become main attraction that define Bromo Tengger Semeru national park from other tourist destination. Those various attribute represents tourism in East Java as a whole (Rahajeng, 2008). The level of sustainable tourism can be measured based on three criteria namely: (1) There is no depletion of natural resources, (2) There is no pollution and other negative effect on the environment, (3) tourism activity must be able to increase usable resources and replaceable resources (The Ministry of Environment, 1990). Sustainable development must be based on the long term use of natural resources and continual nature preservation (Eko, 2019). Sustainable tourism development can only happened when the balance of ecology aspect of the tourism destination and social and economy of the local community is achieved while at the same time still authentic and environment friendly (Andres, 2018). Sustainable economically means long term investment that is done now must be useful for the future generation for the long term (Ivan, 2017). Tourism development is one of the main sources of environment degradation even though it brings positive effect for the wellbeing of the society. Tourism sector is one of the contributors of environmental damage when building new infrastructure causing pollution, farming area is changed to tourism infrastructure. In the social aspect the change of people source of livelihood, from farming to working in the tourism business, the change of the local culture, work ethics, the local culture is diminishing (there is no more architecture with traditional local style. Local community is also in the risk of getting too dependent on the tourism sector such as accommodation and restaurant business. The price of the land will be increasing due to a sudden need of land to build tourism infrastructure (Sumiati, 2018). In the social and culture aspect, the behavior of some of the people is changing, some of them will asked visitors to pay extra, forced visitors to do the activities that they are not interested to, and doing touting illegally which will disturb the visitors (Abimanyu, 2010). This practice will reduce visitors satisfaction, because honesty of the people who work in the tourism industry directly is one of the most important factor that influence visitors satisfaction (Andres and Artal-Tur, 2018). Keywords: Sustainable tourism management model, Ecotourism, National tourism development.

However, the increasing number of tourism effects for the local community at Sukowilangun can still be categorized at a low level. Besides, the management capabilities and resources of the local community in developing Taman Suko as a local tourist destination have not been able to attract more tourists. We carry out a community service program through diversifying our business with the implementation of an aquaponics system to increase income derived from tourism management, providing assistance in efforts to develop tourism potential, and empowering local community-based communities at Taman Suko. As a tourism destination in the world, Bali attracts many tourists to visit because of its tourist attractions and culture. One form of Balinese cultural products is Balinese endek, a traditional Balinese fabric comes in a myriad of beautiful colors and geometrical designs.  The experience of weaving Balinese Endek is the phenomenon of commodification in its essence as a creative industry. The author uses this paper to be able to critically examine the Balinese Endek function with a culture studies approach in relation to the use of endek in the tourism sector. The instrument for analyzing this paper is using the commodification theory, which is explaining about something that is not related to the production process into a product that is consumed in bulk, yet is related to how a product is marketed to the target market in order to meet consumer needs. The methodology used in examining the phenomenon of the commodification of Balinese endek  is a critical method that is emancipatory in nature, namely the involvement of producers or weavers and business people (who are involved in the tourism industry). The results of this paper are: (1) The symbolic meaning that is typical of Balinese Endek is an attraction and has the potential to attract tourists, thus helping to improve the economy of the Balinese people. (2) The dynamics of Balinese Endek marketing in the market are in demand by the local market as well as the global market as a creative product. (3) The development of function of the Balinese endek not solely by the local community, but also by tourists to be used as a souvenir. Tourism sector has a significant role in the economic development of our country. Tourism sector has contributed 6.88 percent to the GDP and has 12.36 percent share in employment (direct and indirect) in the year 2014. It has also a significant share in foreign exchange earnings. The benefit of tourism mostly goes to the local community (Sonya & Jacqueline, Mansour E. Zaei & Mahin E. Zaei, 2013). In this paper, an attempt has been made to assess how the tourism industry has created an opportunity for the economic, political, social and cultural development of the local community at Manali in Himachal Pradesh (India) and also tried to study the problems that are associated with the tourism in the region. The study found that the tourism industry has been extending its contribution for the development of local community at Manali. It has been providing employment, business and investment opportunities, revenue generation for the government, encouraging the community to promote and preserve its art, culture and heritage, raising the demand of agriculture products, provided opportunities for local people to run and work in the transport business and by promoting MSMEs in the region. Besides the opportunities, the tourism industry has also added many problems to the local community. Traffic congestion, increase in water and air pollution, solid waste generation, degradation of the cultural heritage, ecological imbalances, rise in cost of living, increase in crime, noise and environment pollution, migration of people to the region, negative impact on local culture, and extra pressure on civic services during the tourists season, are the problems associated with the tourism. The study suggest that effective management of natural resources, dissemination of environment protection information, involvement of local community in decision making, professionalization in the working of local administration, extending the support of government in sponsoring the events, infrastructure development, tracking records of migrants with the help of local community to curb the crime rate, promotion and preservation of art, culture and heritage, involvement of NGOs, compliance of the rules can make tourism more beneficial in the development of local community.
