This event in the research will be based by a lack of motor abilities of the children when they have movement activities such as climbing, running, jumping, and while walking on the boards. This problems are caused by the students just learn to read, to write, and to calculate every day. The problem solving in this research is “The Game of Jump Rope  has Good Effect to Increase of the Abilities Motor for the Children Group B in Kindergarten Kartika  IV-9 Raider Surabaya”. The type of this research is quantitative  research. The purpose of this research is to know how the game of jump rope can involve the motor abilities for early childhood in kindergarten Kartika IV-9 Raider Surabaya. This research uses a type of Posttest-Only Control Group Design. The total population are 30 children that consist of 15 students asthe control groups and 15 students as experimental groups.The result of this research is used by t-test analysis that the game of jump rope can influence of the motor  abilitiesfor children. This evident is that before being given treatment some children have less robustfor motor’s skill. However, after being given the treatment, the children developed theirgood motor abilities. The children can do the body movement smoothly. They have good body movement. They don’t be afraid to try the jump and their bodyto be came powerful and balanced. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bermain peran terhadap kemampuan sosial anak. Penelian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen) menggunakan rancangan Nonequivalend Control Grup Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B PAUD Gugus Anggrek Kecamatan Kuta Utara terdapat tujuh Tk keseluruhannya berjumlah 586 anak. Sampel ditentukan secara random. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B1 TK Pradnyandari III Kecamatan Kuta Utara berjumlah 24 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan anak kelompok B3 TK Tiara Kasih Kecamatan Kuta Utara berjumlah 21 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh thitung = 3,49 sedangkan pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan dk = 43 diperoleh ttabel = 2,021 sehingga thitung 3,49 ˃ ttabel 2,021, maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan sosial antara kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui metode bermain peran dengan kelompok anak yang tidak dibelajarkan melalui metode bermain peran. Adapun nilai rata-rata kemampuan sosial anak yang diperoleh antara kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (83,38 > 77,07). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bermain peran berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan sosial anak kelompok B di PAUD Gugus Anggrek Kecamatan Kuta Utara Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Kata Kunci : kemampuan Sosial, Metode Bermain Peran, Anak Usia Dini *This study aims to determine the effect of role playing methods on the social ability of children. This research is a quantitative research with a kind of quasi experiment (Quasi Eksperiment) using the Nonequivalend Control Group Design design. The population of this research is all children of group B PAUD Anggrek Cluster of North Kuta subdistrict there are seven Tk totaling 586 children. The sample is determined randomly. The sample in this research is the children of group B1 TK Pradnyandari III North Kuta District amounted to 24 children as experimental group and children group B3 TK Tiara Kasih, North Kuta subdistrict, there are 21 children as control group. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical and inferential statistical analysis with t-test. Based on the result of data analysis obtained t calculated = 3,49 while at 5% significant level with dk = 43 obtained ttable = 2.021 so thitung 3,49 ˃ ttable 2.021, then there are significant differences in social difference of social ability between groups of children who learned through role playing method with groups of children through role playing methods. The mean value of social ability of children obtained between the experimental group is higher than the control group (83,38 > 77,07). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bercerita lokal Bali terhadap nilai karakter anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen) menggunakan rancangan Nonequevalend Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak kelompok B TK Gugus Melati Kecamatan Marga terdapat lima TK keseluruhan berjumlah 275 anak. Sampel ditentukan secara random. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelompok B1 TK Margarana Kecamatan Marga berjumlah 25 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan anak kelompok B2 TK Dwi Jaya Kecamatan Marga berjumlah 23 sebagai kelompok control. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji-t. berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh thitung = 4,86 sedangkan pada taraf signifikan 5% dan dk = 46 diperoleh nilai ttabel = 1,678 sehingga thitung 4,86 ˃ ttabel 1,678, maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan nilai karakter antara kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui metode bercerita lokal Bali dengan kelompok anak yang tidak dibelajarkan melalui metode bercerita lokal Bali. Adapun nilai rata-rata kemampuan nilai karakter anak yang diperoleh antara kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (61,68 > 42,5) maka disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita lokal Bali berpengaruh terhadap nilai karakter anak kelompok B TK Gugus Melati Kecamatan Marga Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018.Kata Kunci : Nilai Karakter, Metode Bercerita Lokal Bali *This study aims to determine the influence of local story telling method of Balinese characters. This research is a quantitative research with kind of quasi experiment (Quasi Eksperimen) using Nonequevalend Control Group Design. The population of this research is all children group B TK Gugus Melati Subdistrict Marga there are five kindergarten total of 275 children. The sample is determined randomly. The sample in this research is group B1 TK Margarana Subdistrict Marga amounting to 25 children as experiment group and children group B2 TK Dwi Jaya Subdistrict Marga amount 23 as control group. The collected data were analyzed descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with t-test. based on the data analysis obtained thitung = 4.86 while at a significant level of 5% and dk = 46 obtained ttable value = 1.678 so that tcount 4.86 ˃ ttabel 1.678, then there is a significant difference in the character values between groups of children who learned through the method of local story telling Bali with groups of children who are not learned through the local story telling method of Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bercerita terhadap kemampuan menyimak pada anak kelompok B di PAUD Gugus Anggrek Kecamatan Kuta Utara Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment) menggunakan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh anak kelompok B di PAUD Gugus Anggrek Kecamatan Kuta Utara yang berjumlah 552 orang. Sampel ditentukan secara random. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B2 TK Pradnyandari III Kecamatan Kuta Utara berjumlah 26 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan anak kelompok B4 TK Tiara Kasih Kecamatan Kuta Utara berjumlah 25 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode non tes (observasi). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis uji-t. Hasil analisis diperoleh thitung = 4,52 sedangkan pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk = 49 diperoleh nilai ttabel = 2,02 sehingga thitung = 4,52 > ttabel = 2,02. Maka diperoleh nilai thitung 4,52 > ttabel 2,02. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, maka H0 ditolak. Maka terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kemampuan menyimak antara kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan melalui metode bercerita dengan kelompok anak yang tidak dibelajarkan melalui metode bercerita. Adapun nilai rata-rata kemampuan menyimak anak yang diperoleh antara kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (82,35 > 73,12). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menyimak anak kelompok B di PAUD Gugus Anggrek Kecamatan Kuta Utara Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. This research is a quasi experimental research using nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study all the children of group B in PAUD Anggrek District North Kuta, which amounted to 552 people. The sample is determined randomly. The sample in this research is the children of group B2 TK Pradnyandari III North Kuta District amounted to 26 children as experimental group and children group B4 TK Tiara Kasih Kecamatan Kuta Utara amounted to 25 children as control group. Data collection was done by non test method (observation). The data obtained were analyzed using t-test analysis. The results obtained t calculation = 4.52 while at the level of significance of 5% with dk = 49 obtained ttable value = 2.02 so thitung = 4.52> ttabel = 2.02. Then obtained value t count> ttabel. Based on the test criteria, then H0 is rejected. Then there is a significant difference in listening ability between groups of children who are taught through the method of telling stories with groups of children who are not learned through the method of telling. The mean value of children's listening ability obtained between the experimental group was higher than the control group (82.35> 73.12). Then it can be concluded that the storytelling method influences the ability of listening to the group B children in PAUD Anggrek Orchid North Kuta District Academic Year 2017/2018.keyword : early childhood, story telling method, listening ability

ABSTRACT Toilet training is an effort to train children to be able to control and urinate (BAK) and defecate (BAB). Toilet training is one of the main tasks of children at toddler age. Toilet training is one of the main tasks of children in toddler age which is very important to be done to create independence in children in controlling BAK and BAB and children know the parts of the body and their functions. Data in 2012 shows that ± 60% of parents do not teach toilet training to children from an early age. The aim of the study was to find out the effectiveness of toilet training education on maternal behavior and toilet skills in toddler age training (18-36 months). The study was conducted in July-August 2018. This type of quantitative research used the design of the Quasy pretest and posttest experiment with non-equivalent control group design. Samples were 36 mothers and 36 children with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used Paired t test, Wilcoxon test, Man-Whitney test an Independent t test. The results showed that toilet training education through lecture methods, modules and maze games was more effective than toilet training education through lecture and leaflet methods on children's knowledge and abilities. Conversely, for the role of mothers in supervision there is no significant difference in effectiveness. Health education is recommended in health promotion programs to increase maternal knowledge, the role of mothers and the ability of toilet training children independently. <p><span>Baby Massage and Spa was a traditional effort that uses a holistic approach through comprehensive care using a combination of massage and water therapy methods that are carried out in an integrated manner to balance the body, mind, and feelings. Age 3-6 months is the right time for babies to do massage and spa. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of baby massage and spa on the growth of infants aged 3-5 months in Pringsewu District in 2018. This study uses a quasi-experimental approach with research design pre and post-test with control group design. The purposive sampling technique was taken with a sample of 30 infants as the intervention group and 30 infants as the control group. Data were processed using computerization and analyzed using the T-Test. The results showed that there were significant differences between body weight, body length and baby head circumference in the pre and post-treatment. There was no significant difference in the average increase in infant weight between babies who were carried out by baby massage and spa with babies who were not carried out by baby massage and spa with p-value 0.116. There is a significant difference in the baby's body length and head circumference performed by baby massage and spa with those not carried out by baby massage and spa with p-value 0.000. Baby Massage and Spa has a significant effect on increasing the growth of babies aged 3-5 months.</span></p><p><span> </span></p>

This research is aimed to determine the effectivity of training to increase self-efficacy towards career preference options in psychology. This is a quantitative research, in which experiment method is applied by using pretest-posttest control group design. The dependent variable is self-efficacy towards career preference options in psychology. Self efficacy towards career preference options in psychology is measured using self efficacy towards career preference options scale. The independent variable in this research is career planning training. The research subject are 40 persons groupped into experiment group and control group. Pre-test are given to both experiment and control group. next, the experiment group is given treatment of career planning training. The next step, post test is administered to experiment group and control group. The research is analized using anava repeated measure. Anava repeated measure resulted showing significant result. Thus, hyphothesis stating that there is effect of career planning training to self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology student of UNESA is accepted. Self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology increased after career planning training is given as treatment. Self efficacy towards career preference options for psychology in experiment group between pre-test and post-test is different.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Variabel tergantung pada penelitian ini adalah efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi. Kemampuan efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir psikologi diukur dengan skala efikasi diri terhadap pilihan bidang minat karir. Sedangkan variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah pelatihan perencanaan karir. Subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 40 orang yang kemudian dikelompokkan ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Pada kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol diberikan pre-test. Selanjutnya pada kelompok eksperimen dikenai perlakuan berupa pelatihan perencanaan karir. Tahapan berikutnya adalah pemberian posttest pada kelompok eksprimen dan kelompok kontrol. Analisis yang akan digunakan adalah anava amatan ulangan. Hasil anava amatan ulangan menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh pelatihan perencanaan karir terhadap efikasi diri terkait pilihan minat bidang karir psikologi pada mahasiswa psikologi UNESA, diterima. Efikasi diri terhadap pilihan minat bidang karir di Psikologi meningkat setelah diberikan pelatihan perencanaan karir.

Background: The incidence of burns in Indonesia progressively increases with the increase in its population and industries. From January to September 2000, 158 patients were treated in the burn unit of Dr Soetomo Hospital with a mortality rate reaching 5,8%. Burns have a direct effect in causing both local and systemic changes in the body, not occurring in other injuries. In severe burns, a hypermetabolic state can occur, which increases cardiac workload and causes muscle atrophy and other morbidities. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of propranolol on the hypermetabolic state in severely burned patients by measuring various clinical & laboratory parameters.Methods : This is an experimental study using pre and post test control group design with the objective of assessing the treatment outcome with oral propranolol given in 15 consecutive days for burn patients involving 25%- 60% TBSA. Measurements were taken three times, on day 0, 7 and 14.Results : Obtained 16 samples divided into 2 groups. In the treatment group, there was a significant decrease in CRP levels on days 0, 7 and 14 (p <0.05). The Mid Arm Circumference variable did not obtain a significant decreasing on days 0, 7 and 14. The albumin level studied showed a significant decreasing on day 0 & 7 days with a value of p = 0.045. From the comparison between the two groups, there were significant differences in CRP levels on days 0 & 14, with the mean value of the treatment group -5.12 + 2.88 and the mean value of the control group 2.86 + 7.37, and the value of p = 0.019.Conclusions: This study successfully proved that the administration of propranolol can overcome the effects of hypermetabolism which is characterized by decreasing in CRP levels.

Batik maked process especially �mbironi�, is done in sit position. If this position maintained for a long period, that could be cause muscle strain which may lead into musculoskeletal disorders. The research was aim to know the effect of Workplace Stretching Exercise (WSE) to reduced MSDs in hand-made batik workers. The research was quasy experimental by non-equivalent control group design. Subjects were 37 female handmade batik workers used purposive sampling. Data analysis used Friedman test and Wilcoxon test, then for two independent sample used Independent t Test and Mann Whitney test with significancy level at 5% or a = 0,05. Analysis result show that there is no difference in MSDs on experiment and control group after pre-test which had p-value = 0,371 (>0,05). The result of middle-test and post-test p value = 0,000 (<0,05) that there is significant mean difference of MSDs between experiment and control group. Based on the middle-test and post-test analysis result, it could be conclude that there is an effect of WSE to reduce MSDs of handmade batik workers.

ABSTRACT Low back pain ( LBP ) is a musculoskeletal disorder that occurs in the lower back which can be caused by various diseases and  activity of the body being less good. One effort to overcome the LBP is back exercise. The research purpose is to find out the effect of back exercise therapy which concern to lowering painful complaint of batik artisants in Kauman village Sokaraja subsdistrict. This research is using Quasi Experiment technique phenomenological non equivalen control group design (pre -post test). Sample taking is using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis use Friedman experiment for treatment group and Repeated Annova experiment for control group. Experiment analysis is different between treatment group and control group with using Mann Whitney experiment. The result of Friedman experiment in treatment group shows that p-value=0,000(p<0,05), it means the therapy those given is effective to lowering painful complaint. The result of Repeated Annova experiment in control group shows that p-value=0,234(p>0,05), it means the painful complaint seems not different in control group. The result of Mann Whitney experiment shows that p-value=0,000(p<0,05) it means there are differences between painful complaint in treatment group and control group after doing back exercise. There is the effect by giving back exercise therapy which concern to lowering the complaint of low back pain for batik artisants in Kauman village Sokaraja subdistrict.   Key words: Handmade Batik, Low back pain, back exercise

The immunizations that must be given to children include the Diphtheria Pertussis Tetatus-Hepatitis B-Hemophilus Influenza type B vaccine or better known as Pentabio DPT. The DTwP / HB / HiB vaccine is given to babies in 3 doses at 1 month intervals. This immunization caused a systemic reaction, one of which was a fever of 0.85% in the first 30 minutes and increased to 14.03% on the day after immunization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L) in reducing the body temperature of feverish children after Pentabio DPT immunization. This type of research was quasi-experimental study, with pre and post test with control group design. The sample in this study were babies who received DPT immunization as many as 20 respondents. DPT Pentabio immunization was given a dose of 0.5 ml in the intervention group and the control group. The statistical test used was the T test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of shallots on in reducing the body temperature of feverish children after Pentabio DPT immunization, with a p-value of 0.000. Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan pre and post test with control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah bayi yang mendapat imunisasi DPT sebanyak 20 orang responden. Pemberian imunisasi DPT PENTABIO Pentabio dosis 0,5 ml pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah Uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari bawang merah dalam menurunkan suhu tubuh anak demam pasca imunisasi DPT Pentabio, dengan p-value 0,000.
