The present research aims at identifying the effect of the self-assertion method in the development of job satisfaction among the educational mentors by verifying the following hypotheses: (There were no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the grades of the experimental group before and after the program, the experimental group and the control group In the post-test). The experimental method was adopted to verify the hypotheses of the research. The sample consisted of (30) educational guides from those who obtained the lowest grade in the job satisfaction scale. A criterion (Rachid, 2013) was adopted for the job satisfaction of the educational counselors, which was presented to a group of experts (12 sessions). The current research found that there were statistically significant differences at (0.05) In the experimental group and for the guidance method, between the experimental groups and the control group in the post-test and for the benefit of the experimental group. Among the recommendations is the need for the media, especially the Ministry of Education, to take the role of educational guides and praise their efforts within special programs prepared for this purpose. Educational guides in other governorates and a comparison between these studies and the current study.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the "patience training program" on the patience and life satisfaction levels of university students. The study was organized as a pre-test, post-test experiment and control group design. For a total of 30 students from which were 17 in the control group and 17 in the experimental group, patience training was given for 5 weeks. The "Patient Scale" developed by Schnitker (2010) and adapted to Turkish by Eliüşük and Arslan (2016) and the "Life Satisfaction Scale" developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin (1985) and adapted to Turkish by Dağlı and Baysal (2016) were used as a data collection tool in the study. The "Wilcoxon" test was used for the comparison of in-group differences in the analysis of obtained data and the "Mann-Whitney U" test was used in examining the differences between the two groups. As a result of the study, it was observed that the patience and life satisfaction average scores of students in the experimental group receiving "patience training" increased significantly, while there was no significant difference in the patience and life satisfaction averages scores of the control group students.

Emotion is the ability of a person to express the state of mind which he is, but when a person is mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually unstable results in a psychological change and helpless on situations. The purpose of the study was to nd out Effect of SKY yoga and pranayama on emotion among college girls .To achieve the purpose of the study 45 College girls were selected randomly from Coimbatore as the subjects. The subject's age ranged from 18 to 21 years. . The selected subjects were divided into 3 groups. Experimental Group I under went on sky yoga only & Experimental Group II went on pranayama only for 50 minutes per day, six days a week for 12 weeks. The control group was not given any practice. The pre-test and post-test were conducted before and after the training for all three groups. The data collected from the groups before and after the training period were statistically analysed by using Analysis of Co-Variance (ANACOVA) to determine the signicant difference and tested at 0.05 level of signicance. The result of the study showed that there was signicant improvement in the emotion of the Experimental Groups I, II subjects than the Controlled group. Through the SKY yoga and Pranayama Emotion got controlled. The conclusion was that SKY yoga controlled emotions and got reduced the psychological effects depression and stress etc. among college girls.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of memory strategies (MSs)in improving students' ability to recall and spell newly learned vocabulary items. The researcheronly considered three types of MSs: grouping, placing new words in to a context and structuredreviewing. In addition, the study used a questionnaire that explored students' attitudes towardsMSs in general, and towards the specific MSs that they have been trained to use, as well as therelationship between MSs and motivation and between MSs and anxiety. intact groups (63 students in total) were selected from level three of the College of Languages and Translation (COLT) at King Saud University (KSU), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The two groups were assigned to the experimental group (36 students) and the control group(27students). The control group received traditional instruction that depended on the textbook without any MS training, whereas the experimental group received a combination of traditional instruction and MS training. A pre- and post-test were administered to both groups before and after the experiment to examine students' ability to recall the meaning of vocabulary items and their ability to spell them correctly. The experiment lasted for fourteen weeks through which the participants received seven MS training sessions. The study found out that MS training was effective in improving students' ability to recall the meaning of vocabulary items when needed and their ability to spell them correctly. Moreover, the results showed that the subjects of the experimental group showed positive attitude towards MSs and most of them agreed on the positive effect that MSs had on raising their motivation and reducing their anxiety while learning vocabulary.

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of 6-week Zumba exercises on flexibility, leg strength, back strength and muscular endurance parameters in women aged 25-45. The research group consists of a total of (n=20) women, (n=10) in the experimental group and (n=10) in the control group, between the ages of 25-45 living in Istanbul. The participants in the experimental group were given 60 minutes of Zumba exercises 3 days a week for 6 weeks, and sit-reach, 1-minute sit-up and strength test measurements were made to the participants before and after the exercise program. Participants in the control group were not included in any exercise program. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the participants' flexibility, leg strength, back strength and muscular endurance values between the pre-test and post-test within the group (p< 0.05). In addition, there was no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test values between the groups (p< 0.05). In conclusion; It was determined that zumba exercises applied to the experimental group did not have a significant effect on flexibility, muscular endurance and back strength. In the leg strength parameter, the effect of zumba exercises applied to the experimental group on leg strength was found to be significant at a rate of 34%. In the light of these data, it was concluded that zumba exercises performed in sedentary women have a positive effect on lower extremity strength. The learning assessment centre helps managers define learning objectives based on feedback in a group of peers. This study tested the hypothesis that the centre empowers managers to cope with change. Statistical methodology for a pre-test, post-test design using ordinal (Likert) data is also reviewed. Middle managers from a bank undergoing major reorganisation were divided into two matched groups. The experimental group spent three days in a learning assessment centre designed to give them self-insight and an understanding of the bank's requirements during the transformation. The control group received no treatment. Both groups were measured before and after the centre on a self-report measure and completed a peer assessment questionnaire completed by subordinates. Fifty-eight managers completed both pre-test and post-test measures. Whilst the subordinates of the control group reported a drop in their managers' empowerment, the subordinates of the experimental group reported a substantial improvement in their managers' empowerment. The difference between the groups was significant for five of the six areas measured. The difference between the self-reported performance of the two groups of managers was significant for only one area. These findings suggest that the learning centre could provide a solution to companies faced with the potentially destructive impact of major transition on management effectiveness.

<p>Matriculation a pre-tertiary program offered by Ministry of Education for students who have completed their ‘Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia’s’ (SPM) examinations successfully. These excellent students will be required to sit for the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) before pursuing their studies in local colleges and universities. MUET comprises all the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. However, matriculation students are still unable to perform well in MUET examination especially the writing component. Researcher aimed to see whether Facebook group discussions can be used as a medium to improve writing skills of students. The main purpose of this study is to look at the effectiveness of Facebook group discussion in writing performance and college students’ perception of using Facebook discussion. This study tested the effect of Facebook discussions by comparing 2 groups of learners (a control group and an experimental group) on writing tasks. The scores of Pre and Post test for both groups will be compared after treatment method of Facebook group discussion on the experimental group. Learners’ attitudes towards the usage of Facebook group discussion and aspects of Facebook that help students to express their opinion. Discussions of the findings will include suggestions on whether Facebook discussions can be used to improve writing performance.</p>

Background/Objectives: This study examined the effects of introducing programming as a technological tool for teachers’ Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) development.Methods/Statistical Analysis: Thirty-two teachers were divided into two groups, completing different types of TPACK educational programs. The control group’s TPACK training program was based on information and communication technology (ICT), while that of the experimental group was based on programming. To verify the effectiveness of the TPACK training program, tests were administered before and after the educational program. A statistical analysis of questionnaire results also investigated changes resulting from TPACK.Findings: Both the control and experimental groups showed statistically significant improvements in the post-test compared with the pre-test. However, in the detailed areas of TPACK by group, the improvements in the two groups differed. Unlike the control group, the experimental group showed a statistically significant improvement in the knowledge related to technology. This result illustrated that programming is effective in solving the problem of integrating technology into the classroom. In contrast, there was no significant difference in the post-test, as this was applied in the short term. However, programming has been shown to affect Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), and TPACK. In summary, the results showed that a TPACK educational program based on programming is effective for teachers’ TPACK development. Keywords: TPACK, In-service teacher, Programming, TPACK-P, Educational program

Background: The ideal application of holistic midwifery care is by paying attention to the psycho-neuro- endocrino-immuno aspect.Midwives are expected to be able to facilitate mothers to get a natural, safe, comfortable, calm and pain free maternity experience. Combination of green color, lavender aromatherapy and music have not been utilized as many as other non-pharmacological therapies to reduce maternal pain and anxiety. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the combination of green color, lavender aromatherapy and music to reduce maternal pain and anxiety. Methods: A quasy-experimental study with pre-test and post-test control group design was applied. Sixty mothers giving birth were divided intocontrol and experimental group., The combination of green color therapy, lavender aromatherapy and therapeutic music were delivered to experimental group whilst control group got normal standard care. Pain and anxiety were measured before and after treatment and then analized by using statistical methods. Results: there was a significant difference between the level of pain in the treatment group and the control group (p = 0,0009) but there was no significant difference in the level of anxiety (p = 0,313). Conclusion:The combination of therapiesare more effective in reducing pain in maternity as compared to conventional method. This research aimed to discover the level of anxiety in students before the exam and the effect of music classic (Mozart) to reduce such anxiety. The study was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas with students with a high level of anxiety, which has been revealed from the results of the anxiety scale questionnaire using a purposive sampling technique with a total of 68 respondents. This research was used with an experimental method consisting of an experimental group and a control group. From the treatment, the results showed pre-test 12.55 in the high category and post-test 7.852 in the medium category. This shows changes in the results before and after the treatment is given. It can be concluded that the effect of the use of music (Mozart) can reduce student anxiety before the test.

Background: Marital satisfaction is a basis of other social organization health. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the self-differentiation training based on the Bowen Theory to increase marital satisfaction. Methods: The research method was semi-experimental and the pre-test-posttest design with the control group. In this intervention, the population of this study was selected by the convenience sampling method and 38 married women were randomly assigned to the experimental (n= 12) and control (n= 12) groups in Tehran in 2018. The Differentiation of Self Inventory (DSI) and Marital Satisfaction Inventory (MSI) were completed by married women. The control group received no training. The intervention included 10 sessions of self-differentiation training based on the Bowen theory. Twelve women participated in this semi-experimental project selected by convenience sampling as an experimental group and twelve women as a control group. The brief couple-based therapy was taught in 10 sessions based on techniques of Bowen therapy and four components of differentiation. The data were analyzed by SPSS v. 23 software. Results: There was a significant difference between the post-test scores of the experimental and control groups. In addition, training based on the DST approach could significantly increase marital satisfaction (t= 21.62, df= 22, P<0.001). Conclusion: The results indicated that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group. Therefore, the training could significantly increase the self-differentiation of married women. These findings can be used to design interventional programs to improve conflict, adaptation, intimacy, and marital satisfaction of the couples.
