Involvement of cadets in interactive activities leads to the ability to solve complex problems based on the analysis of initial data, identify contradictions, express alternative opinions, make informed decisions, participate in discussions; model various situations, learn to build constructive relationships in the team, determine their place in it, avoid or resolve conflicts, seek compromises, seek dialogue, develop skills of project activities, independent work, creative work. The paper presents the basic principles of interactive learning, classification of interactive methods. The application of some of them, namely "question-answer", "microphone", "classes with pre-planned mistakes", "brainstorming", "debate", "business game", "teaching-learning" with the indicated advantages and disadvantages is demonstrated for specific topics of classes in "Higher Mathematics". The introduction of these methods in the educational process will ensure the formation of its participants such skills as analysis, comparison, highlighting, as well as critical thinking and the ability to make responsible decisions, competitiveness, willingness to take risks. The military-pedagogical process is a complex socio-psychological phenomenon. Its essence lies in purposeful, motivated, substantive organizational and educational activities of all its subjects. This activity is aimed at preparing the military specialists who are able to successfully perform their functional duties both in peacetime and in modern war conditions. The strength of the country's defense capability and combat readiness in modern conditions is ensured by a high level of intellectual potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This potential is being formed as a set of potentials of highly qualified personnel of military specialists. Today the task of reforming military education is not limited only to structural and functional transformations of the educational base and restructuring of the educational process. It is necessary to create an environment (a system of higher military education) for constant spiritual and professional improvement of the individual and motivation to achieve a high level of military professionalism. Access of educational institutions to modern information technologies contributed to the emergence of interactive forms of learning and transformation of the subject of learning from a passive participant and its active involvement in the learning process. Given the development of digital technologies and the difficult state in which Ukraine found itself due to military action and the negative epidemiological situation, it is appropriate to create a system of higher military education using the subject-activity approach and the introduction of forms of distance learning. It is proposed to direct the military-pedagogical training of specialists along six lines. The assessment of the level of conformity of a serviceman's actual professional qualities with the requirements to the occupied military position is important in the professional-psychological selection in the Armed Forces. That is why it is expedient to develop a model of recreation of intellectual potential of servicemen and a methodology for evaluating the general level of intellectual resources of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the basis of construction of such model it is offered to put directions of military-pedagogical training of military specialists together with professionally important criteria of evaluation of recreating of moral-psychological qualities of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The current system of military education of the Republic of Kazakhstan provides for a continuous educational process. It covers five levels: secondary education, technical and vocational, higher education — bachelor's degree, postgraduate education — master's and doctoral studies, as well as additional education — military departments, advanced training of specialists, training and retraining of military-trained reserves. The leading role of the postgraduate level is assigned to the National Defense University named after the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Elbasy. This is the only military educational institution in the system of military education for the education, training and advanced training of higher and senior officers of the Armed Forces, other ministries and departments of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads and officials of state and executive authorities, enterprises and institutions of the military-industrial complex , officers of foreign armies. The position of a number of Kazakh scientists on the problem of the military education system is not unambiguous. The systematic approach made it possible to reveal the goals and characteristics of the stages of continuous military vocational education. Statistical data show a tendency towards an increase in the number of military departments and military technical schools functioning at present. In our opinion, the main task of continuous military professional education should be considered the formation and development of the image of a modern soldier, who will be distinguished by immense devotion and love for the Motherland, high professionalism, competitiveness, universalism, mobility, creativity, as well as the ability to think outside the box and make decisions quickly. in any environment. Based on the conducted research, it can be concluded that the domestic system of continuous military vocational education in the Republic of Kazakhstan has a fairly well-formed structure, meets international standards and contributes to an increase in the scientific and scientific-pedagogical potential of military personnel.

From students prospective the main advantages were the opportunity to study and work at the same time (32.4 %) to plan more flexible study schedule (29.7 %). Existence of such negative situation as wish to cheat while performing tests and tasks in MOODLE. Difficulties for lecturers to control stand-alone basis tests and tasks performance by students. The main problem was the independent study of lectures and practical tasks by students without teachers’ support. To improve the effectiveness of training asynchronous Moodle or Google Classroom platforms and learning sessions in Zoom, Meet, Skype, etc should be combined. This approach allows visualizing educational material with presentations and simplifying training materials by students, as well as expanding opportunities for students with special educational needs to obtain professions in management and administration.

The paper presents comparative research on the representation of subjects within the study programs of three higher military educational institutions (Military Academy, University of Defense in Belgrade, University of Defense in Brno, Czech Republic, Royal Military School in Belgium), in order to strengthen their leadership competencies. The conducted comparative research was intended to contribute to predicting the future development of education of professional members of the armed forces, as part of the defense system in the field of leadership, especially because the comparison includes educational systems of countries with different social, economic, historical and social milieu. The aim of the paper in a broader sense was to try and decipher the dimensions of leadership of professional members of the defense system; in a narrower sense the aim was to determine the possibilities of developing leadership competencies through the system of military education provided through the study programs of the Military Universities in Serbia, Belgium and the Czech Republic. The main subject of this research is the leadership competencies of professional military personnel. We have defined the concept of leadership as one of the functions of management, which primarily refers to the influence of leaders on other employees, in order to achieve organizational and group goals. The notion of the necessary leadership competencies is defined as a function of knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to perform complex functions and roles of officers, which can be classified as systemic and interpersonal competencies. The problem of leadership in the defense system is complex due to the very nature and characteristics of the system itself. Precisely because of the significance of the topic, as well as the fact that this issue remains current and new, it is scientifically and professionally justified to dedicate attention to researching the problem of developing leadership competencies in the military educational system. Furthermore, given the fact that change has become a way of life inherent to every modern organization, the military ones included, new leadership competencies, necessary to perform complex functions and roles of defense system officers are required of the employees and therefore it is necessary to implement the concept of lifelong, permanent and continued education in order to meet the demands of the job set before professional military personnel.
