ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence and found the clarity of the phenomenon and conclusions about the influence of education and training (training) and motivation for career development at the School of Police Staff and Leaders in Lembang, Bandung. The study was conducted by using a quantitative method with descriptive analysis and verification methods, namely; collecting, presenting, analyzing and testing hypotheses, and make conclusions and suggestions. Based on the results of the analysis of the results, we concluded as follows: The implementation of education and training (training) are on a scale of good, it means that education and training (training) is in conformity with the program. Implementation of career development is on a scale of good, it means that the career development has been implemented properly. Effect of education and training (training) have a significant influence on career development. Based on the results of educational research and training (training) is dominant to contribute to the career development. Keywords: education and training (training), career development

This research is an explanatory research which is empirical investigation, and the investigation did not control the variable directly, because the realization of these variables is basically no manipulation. Subject in this study were official of Departemen Education Youth dan Sports in Dompu Regency is divided into 5 unit with a population of as many as 87 people. Sampling was conducted using proportional random sampling technique, where in each part of the work unit taken some of its members in accordance with the size of the number of official. The number of samples used is 72 people. Data analysis was performed using multiple regression analysis to see the effect of education and training and degree of education on on performance of official.Based on the results of this study found that education and training and degree of education either partially or simultaneously affect to the performance on Official of Education, Youth and Sport in Dompu Regency so always maintain the performance of officials by providing opportunities for officials to participate in education and training of officials, and always recruit officials based on their degree of education and provide an opportunity to raise the degree of education is shown to have a significant influence on performance of official. Keywords : Education and training, performenace of official

This study is aimed at analyzing the effect of Professional Education and Training for Teachers (PLPG) in improving pedagogic competence and teacher performance. The research used quantitative method through survey approach. The data was taken from 35 respondents using the training exam module and teacher performance instruments. All data were analyzed using software SPSS for Windows release 22.0 through both descriptive and correlation analysis. The result of descriptive analysis of teachers pedagogic competence after taking training test is good (83,74%). Furthermore, Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis shows that there is a significant negative correlation between these activities and teachers performance obtained (rcount) = -0.590 at 0.000 significance level. The results of the analysis show that teachers need to follow the training to improve their pedagogic competence as well as their performance in teaching and assessing. Since the teachers’ knowledge increases, it will definitely have an impact on their performance at school.

This study aims to determine how much influence the work experience, work performance, education and training have on the career development of employees at PT PLN (Persero) Rayon Kuranji, Padang City. The analytical method used is correlation analysis and multiple regression. The data collection method in this study is to use a questionnaire filled out by respondents, namely employees at PT PLN (Persero) Rayon Kuranji, Padang City. From the results of multiple regression analysis, it shows that: (a) work experience has a partially significant effect on career development, (b) work performance has a partially significant effect on career development, (c) education has a partially significant effect on career development, (d) training does not have a partially significant effect on career development, (e) work experience, work performance, education and training have a significant effect on career development together, (e) the contribution of variable work experience, work performance, education and training together The career development is 52.5%, while the remaining 47.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract- The research objectives were to determine: 1) The description of performance, organizational culture, education and training, competence and work motivation of Indonesian National Police members at the Traffic Directorate of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police; 2) The influence of organizational culture, education and training, competence and work motivation on the performance of Police members at the East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Traffic Directorate. The study was conducted on all members of the East Nusa Tenggara Police Traffic Directorate with 145 respondents. The data collected were analyzed descriptively based on the results of processed data using the method of Structural Equation Model. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the achievement of the indicators for each variable is as follows: Performance = 67.68 (Good Enough), Organizational Culture = 68.84 (Good), Competence = 67.93 (Good Enough), Education and Training = 67.45 (Good Enough), and Work Motivation = 68.55 (Good). Furthermore, the results of SEM analysis showed that Organizational Culture, Education and Training, Competence and Work Motivation had a positive and significant effect on the Performance of the investigated Police Members. This research is still limited to the 4 variables used so that testing is needed on other variables such as; leadership style, compensation, work atmosphere, work facilities and others with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This study aims to determine the strategy of developing human resources through education and training at the Makassar City Manpower Office. Using a qualitative descriptive approach. The main instrument in this study is the researcher himself using a cellphone, and using a field note that is by recording data related to research found in the field. Data collection was carried out by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the strategy of developing human resources through education and training at the Makassar City Manpower Office was in a fairly good category, seeing the focus in this study, namely: 1) determining needs has been determined quite well, 2) determining targets that are in in the good enough category, 3) the determination of the program content is in the good enough category, 4) the principles of learning get pretty good results, 5) the implementation of the program gets pretty good results, 6) identification of the benefits of getting pretty good results, and 7 ) the evaluation of program implementation got quite good results

This study examined the current state of careers advice, guidance, and counselling (CAGC) services and programmes in the technical, vocational education, and training (TVET) system of Nigerian higher education institutions (HEIs). This was to determine how well current CAGC services and programmes foster students’ career development, aspirations, and choices. Forty-eight participants, who were members of the Nigerian National Board for Technical Education (8 participants), guidance counsellors (6), university TVET teachers (18), career experts from the National Directorate of Employment (7), and newly employed TVET graduates (9), volunteered for the study. A purposeful sampling procedure was adopted to recruit participants. Data were collected using a semi-structured interview approach, and we employed a thematic design for the coding and analysis of the transcribed data. The study found no CAGC services and programmes in the TVET system. It is recommended, therefore, that TVET systems should focus on providing career development enhanced learning rather than schooling only by revising the curriculum to include programmes and activities that promote CAGC activities and programmes.

This study aims to analyze the role of employee competencies to mediate the influence of education and training (diklat) on organizational effectiveness. Samples were taken as many as 80 respondents, namely employees of the Trade and Industry Office of the province of Bali who had attended education and training before while the analysis technique used was Path Analysis. Based on the results of the analysis found that education and training had a positive and significant effect on competence. employees and have a positive and significant effect on organizational effectiveness. Employee competence has a positive and significant effect on organizational effectiveness. The results of this study also prove that employee competence positively and significantly mediates the influence of education and training (diklat) on organizational effectiveness. Theoretical implications of the results of this study clarify the influence of education and training (training) variables on organizational effectiveness mediated by employee competence. This study shows that the role of education and training programs (diklat) will improve organizational effectiveness supported by high employee competencies. The main problem in the research is the role of village officials in the implementation of village administration Village Karyamukti District Mootilango Gorontalo District. The purpose of this study to determine the role of village officials in the implementation of administrative tasks of village government. The research method used is quantitative method, and research type is descriptive. Techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. Informants in this study were the village head, three heads of affairs, and the village secretary. The results show that: First, the role of village officials in the implementation of administrative duties in the Village Karyamukti Mootilango Gorontalo Gorontalo district is still less than the maximum. The assessment is because of the three heads of affairs, both government, development, and general recognize that its role has not been maximal in carrying out its duties and functions effectively. Secondly, the factors that influence the effort of improving the village apparatus in the implementation of administrative duties in Karyamukti village are the discipline of work, education and training, facilities and infrastructure and the level of welfare of village government apparatus.

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja ASN melalui efektifitas program diklat pada Kantor PPSDM Kemendagri Regional Makassar. Jumlah responden sebanyak 222 orang yaitu pegawai dan peserta pelatihan yang dilakukan pada kantor tersebut. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda melalui pendekatan jalur atau path. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan berpengaruh positif dan signifikat terhadap efektivitas program diklat dan kinerja ASN secara langsung, artinya koefisien regresi yang dihasilakan bertanda positif dengan tingkat signifikan yang lebih kecil dari signifikasi standar jika dihubungkan secara langsung atau tanpa dimediasi variable lain. Efektifitas program diklat juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikat terhadap kinerja ASN secara langsung, koefisien regresi yang dihasilakan bertanda positif dengan tingkat signifikan yang lebih kecil dari signifikasi standar jika dihubungkan secara langsung atau tanpa dimediasi variable lain. Untuk mengukur hubungan tidak langsung antara pendidikan dan pelatihan terhadap kinerja ASN melalui efektifitas program diklat hasil yang ditunjukan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja ASN melalui efektifitas program diklat. Hubungan tidak langsung memiliki koefisien regresi yang lebih besar dari hubungan langsung yang terjadi. Hal ini diperoleh dari nilai koefisien total yang lebih besar. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of education and training on the performance of ASN through the effectiveness of the education and training program at Regional PPSDM Minstry of Home Affairs Makassar. The number of respondents was 222 people consisting of employees and trainees, conducted at the office. The data was analysed using multiple regression analysis through the path approach. The results show that education and training have a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of the training program and ASN performance directly. The effectiveness of the training program also has a positive and significant influence on ASN performance directly. To measure the indirect relationship between education and training on ASN performance through the effectiveness of the education and training program, a second regression was conducted. The results show that education and training have a positive and significant relationship to ASN performance through the effectiveness of the education and training program. Indirect relationship has a regression coefficient that is greater than the direct relationship that occurs. This is obtained from the larger total coefficient.
