Usually considered by children and teenagers the most exciting and attractive space, the camp attracts people every year, thus “producing” the most beautiful and intense memories. The camp is the place where the clients look for sportsactivity, relaxation, entertainment, and rest. At the same time, it becomes, for a shorter or longer period, a special institution, a community. For any client, the camp means emotion, surprise, knowledge, meeting expectations. The client also has the possibility of developing practical (sports) and communicational skills, of getting used to the spirit of teamwork, of expressing and developing new creative skills, of getting in contact with the customs, traditions, and culture of the area.

Abstract Culture is considered the vector that influences directly management activity, which must be carried out efficiently and in a professional manner, in order to obtain performances. Knowledge of the models of cultural analysis, elaborated by researchers such as: G. Hofstede, F. Trompenaars, Ed. Hall, etc. constitute a manager’s support to understand cultural specificity and location, be this a country, a region, or an area, in which he or she operates or will operate. Training managers from a cultural point of view has become an important requirement nowadays in Romania, irrespective of whether they work in organisations abroad or in various cultural areas in Romania.

The concepts of “smart cities” and “smart tourist destinations” are real consequences of the global urbanization process. Nowadays, digitalization is a privilege for every destination oriented towards young people and innovation initiatives. Intelligent destinations require development of optimal urban management models bound by considerable investments. The current study examines the potential of the Sea capital of Bulgaria – Varna to become a smart tourism destination. The used methodology is based on the selection of three scientific tools – PESTEL analysis, SWOT analysis and Delphi method. The major findings showed that the need of digitalization will become an important feature of the tourist supply in Varna. The city is a fast-growing academic destination and an attractive center for many young people. This research aims to determine the strategy for preserving the Jamasan Pusaka tradition, the roles of the community and the government, and what obstacles are faced in the effort to preserve the Jamasan Pusaka Tradition. The research method uses qualitative research and data analysis using SWOT analysis. Based on the research conducted, the researcher found that the preservation of the Jamasan Pusaka tradition in Suroloyo is the only Jamasan Pusaka tradition that is in Kulon Progo. In addition, this tradition is carried out at the Puncak Suroloyo Tourism Object on the first of Suro with promotional efforts to attract tourists to witness. In an effort to preserve the jamasan heritage tradition, it can be said that it is good because the surrounding community is still carrying out this tradition until now and especially this event has been promoted in various media, both social media and print media so that tourists who don't know can watch it. In addition, the community plays an important role in the Jamasan Pusaka Tradition event where the community still carries out this tradition until now and the Government is very helpful. The obstacle in preserving the Jamasan Pusaka Tradition is because many young people, both the community and tourists, do not know what the purpose, potential, and heirlooms are used in this traditional event.
