While exercising, there is a purposeful impact on the complex of body natural properties, which belongs to physical qualities of a person. Affecting physical qualities, under certain conditions, achieve a significant change of the level and direction of their development. In this regard, the aim of the research paper is to analyse the developed and scientifically grounded methods of circuit training for optimization of Physical Education lessons for primary school children. The Purpose of the Study – to elaborate and scientifically substantiate the training methods optimization of Physical Education lessons for primary school children. Research Organization, based on the fact, that 107 pupils of 9th–10th forms took part at the experiment. They were divided into experimental and control groups (experimental groups include 27 boys and 26 girls; control groups –28 boys and 26 girls). The experiment was attended by 9–10 year-old boys and girls that were included to the main medical group. Results. The chosen tests were informative in order to the dynamics detection of the developed methods and gave a positive growth for both groups (p <0,05; p <0,01). But the best result was shown by the experimental group. Due to the fact that during the methodology construction, not only the sensitive development, but also those aspects that would motivate the children before classes, were taken into consideration. Conclusions. Data, obtained during the methodology implementation of the circuit training, proved the effectiveness of our methods, that used during the school year as a modernized tool for increasing the level of physical preparedness of primary school children.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a circuit training program along with a maintenance program on muscular and cardiovascular endurance in children in a physical education setting. Seventy two children 10-12 years old from four different classes were randomly grouped into either an experimental group (n = 35) or a control group (n = 37) (two classes for each group). After an eight-week development program carried out twice a week and a four-week detraining period, the experimental group performed a four-week maintenance program once a week. The program included one circuit of eight stations of 15/45 to 35/25 seconds of work/rest performed twice. Abdominal muscular endurance (sit-ups in 30 seconds test), upper-limbs muscular endurance (bent arm hang test), and cardiovascular endurance (20-m endurance shuttle run test) were measured at the beginning and at the end of the development program, and at the end of the maintenance program. After the development program, muscular and cardiovascular endurance increased significantly in the experimental group (p < 0.05). The gains obtained remained after the maintenance program. The respective values did not change in the control group (p > 0.05). The results showed that the circuit training program was effective to increase and maintain both muscular and cardiovascular endurance among schoolchildren. This could help physical education teachers design programs that permit students to maintain fit muscular and cardiovascular endurance levels.

Research background and hypothesis. In recent years, the phenomenon of stress and burnout among physical education  teachers  has  been  evidenced  by  researchers  from  many  countries.  It  should  be  noted  that  all  those studies about work difficulties of physical education teachers are individual. However, despite a large number of studies conducted and the progress made in this area, a universally accepted survey identifying five most important difficulties in physical education teachers’ work usually defined in contemporary studies still does not exist. This is mainly because there is still no consensus either on the decisive factors causing those difficulties for physical education teachers or what the central symptoms actually are.Research aim was (a) to review and (b) to identify five most important difficulties in  physical education teachers’ work usually defined in contemporary studies.Research methods. This review examines research literature concerning the causes of stress and burnout of physical education teachers from the year 1999 to 2009 applying computer-aided literature search. The keywords used for the electronic search were “stress” and “burnout” or “job satisfaction” and “physical education teacher”. The main method of our research was logical deductive research literature analysis.Discussion and conclusions. Research literature review allowed identifying physical education teachers’ work difficulties (we found 24 of them). We established that the five most important difficulties in  physical education teachers’ work usually defined in contemporary studies were as follows: low status of physical education; limited equipment, facilities and supplies; lack of time; large class sizes and excessive daily workloads. Keywords: burnout, job satisfaction, physical education teacher, stress.

The article covers the basis for method of circuit training, that consist of multiple repetition of physical exercises under the condition of exact dosage of loading in established sequence of change and rotation with rest. The foundation of pedagogical approaches and key demands for circuit training are deeply connected to general principles of sports training. Circuit training looks like complex system of training process which is built on up-to-date achievements in scientific developments and modern organizational methodical approaches during training lessons with the purpose of implementation of individual group tasks and improvement of key moving abilities and their complex identifications. Circuit training gives a chance to independently obtain knowledge from physical features, improve specific abilities and skills. Lessons on circuit training permit to carry out easier exercises without tools, and then gradually increase the tempo and the amount of repetitions.

Background: The aim of this study was to test the efficacy of an eight-week physical education program based on circuit training to better improve the overall physical and military-specific performance compared to a conventional physical education program in military high school students. Methods: Sixty-four students were enrolled in this study and randomly assigned to an experimental (EG, circuit training) or a control group (CG, traditional physical education program). Immediately before and after the eight-week training period, participants were tested on strength and endurance performance, circuit training tests, and military tests. Moreover, the acquisition of the educational objectives and the pleasantness of the experimental intervention were tested using a qualitative approach. Results: Despite the higher workload in EG than CG during the training period, the effect of the experimental intervention compared to the control was only possibly to likely positive for a few strength and endurance performances and circuit training tests, respectively. A trivial effect was shown in the military tests. On the contrary, the high percentage of motivation (76%), understanding (78%) and collaboration (86%) showed by the students suggests the achievement of acquisition of the educational objectives and a fair pleasantness of the lessons. Conclusions: A lack of clear and marked effect of the experimental intervention could be ascribed to an insufficient exposure time to the training and a high subjective overall workload encountered in military high school students.
