This paper discusses the development of contemporary Islamic education by describing the thoughts of Abdurrahman Mas'ud, Hasan Langgulung, and Abdul Munir Mulkhan. Abdurrahman Mas'ud offers the humanistic and religious format of nondikotomic education, which connects human beings with their God (Hablum Minallah) and between human and human (Hablum Minannas). The purpose of education according to him is to prepare life in the world and the hereafter. Hasan Langgulung offers an idea of the principles of Islamic education. According to him, education can be viewed from two points of view. First, from  the perspective of society, that education is a process of cultural inheritance, from the old generation to the younger generation, so that the community can maintain its personality with the basis of Islamic values. Second, from individual perspective, education means the development effort of individual potentials to be actualized concretely so that the results can be beneficial to individuals and society. Langgulung educational thinking is based on the perspective of psychology, education is needed to meet and maintain the sustainability of human life. While Abdul Munir Mulkhan's educational thought is more influenced by a sociological perspective critically. In general, education only prioritizes aspects of intelligence (cognition) and skills (psychomotor), thus ignoring the aspects of personality (emotional). Therefore, he argues, spiritual reasoning is the solution to the philosophical problems of education because the personality or consciousness of manners will increase religiosity (spiritual intelligence) as the base of creative consciousness. According to Mulkhan, education is the right of human beings in maintaining humanitarian agreements so that in their life will realize the awareness of pluralism in the society

Azyumardi Azra narrows the purpose and role of education into two parts, namely general goals and specific goals. According to Azyumardi Azra, the purpose of Islamic education is inseparable from the purpose of human life in Islam, namely to create personal servants of Allah who always fear Him, and can achieve a happy life in this world and in the hereafter. In the context of social-society, nation and state, this pious person becomes rahmatan lil 'alamin, both on a small and large scale. The purpose of human life in Islam is what can also be called the general goal or end of Islamic education.

This paper aims to map the reality of the concept of humanism education in the context of Islamic education. Education is one of the most essential keys in human life. In general, education aims to help humans to get the existence of humanity as a whole. Education also aims to make people better in life. Currently education has not been able to achieve the goals and objectives of education itself are humanizing human beings by optimizing all the potential that exists in human beings. On the contrary the education that occurs today only creates a human being a robot or machine that can be controlled. Education as a process of human humanization (humanization) comes from the idea of humanism. This is in line with the basic meaning of humanism as human education. The system of education in Islam built on the basis of humanistic values since its inception appears in accord with its essence as a humanity religion. Islam makes human dimension as the orientation of education. The insight of humanism in education carries the principle of empowering each human being as a free individual to develop its potential. That means education is held to manage and develop the human self in order to become a whole human according to human nature.

Human beings are deeply related to land. Human beings take birth on land, live on land, die on land and mixes with land ultimately. As stated in the holy Quran: ‘We (Allah) created you (human beings) from the soil, we shall make you return to the soil and We shall call you back again from the soil’ (20:55). Human life is surrounded by soil i.e. land. So, land is a highly completed issue of human life involving economic, social, political, cultural and often religious systems. Land administration is thus a critical element and often a pre-condition for peaceful society and sustainable development. In administrating land, Khatian or record of rights plays a vital role to determine the rights and interests of the respective parties as supportive evidence. In this article, discussion is mainly made on the fact that Khatian or record of rights is not a document of title solely but it may be an evidence of title as well as possession. Grounding the transmission of knowledge by simplifying the learning process on real-world problems helps students maintain what is taught and remembers lessons learned when and when needed will have benefits and can be achieved using a variety of student-friendly teaching and learning methods that take into account interests, needs, and levels students. This article was written with the aim of studying the mechanism of knowledge transmission with the Readiness and Ability to Apply Learning Mode in the Islamic Education Perspective. The results of the discussion conclude that: 1) The concept of learning from teacher to student is popularly referred to as the 'Transmission' paradigm in learning and the process as a 'Transmission mechanism' with a different hierarchical Imperative mode; 2. In Islam, education is based on what Islamic ideals once held about educating all human beings rather than the narrow transmission of discursive knowledge. Islamic knowledge is the knowledge contained in the human body and the ways in which Muslims use it to archive, transmit, decode, and actualize religious knowledge based on a combination of imperative modes; 3) Islamic education aims to develop humans holistically, contrary to western education which focuses primarily on intellectual development. The main purpose of Islamic education is to reform and build human life and develop balanced relationships between individuals, communities and the world based on ethical concepts; 4) regardless of the frame of 'readiness to learn' or 'readiness for school', there is far more preparedness than this and far more that we can do to help everyone become more prepared to learn and overcome life.

Islamic education on convergence theory is based on the concept of Hablummiallah (relationship with Allah), in the sense that it is Allah who gives the initial potential so that in Islamic education that personality must be formed and developed for ma'rifatullah (knowing Allah) and fearing Allah even apart from believing in that internal (innate) and external (environmental) factors are very influential in education, and form a quality Muslim personality. So the most important thing is to acknowledge guidance from Allah as a determinant of success in education and Hablumminannas (relations with humans) as a form of change in human personality in social or environmental life, with the formation of human beings who are sure to make state apparatus aware of the law and able to become pioneers upholding the law in Indonesia.
