Abstract Previous researches have proven that the problem of frozen assets in Malaysia is increasing every year where the amount reached RM70 billion in year 2020. In recent days, hibah has been suggested as one of the important methods in distributing Muslims’ properties in Malaysia. In fact, this effort is seen as an attempt to facilitate the issue of frozen assets in Malaysia. This situation has inspired the authors to raise the awareness among public on the importance of using hibah as an alternative method in Islamic estate planning in Malaysia. This study discovers that social media plays a vital role in raising the awareness about hibah among Muslims as it can be easily published and accessed by the public. It is hoped that this study will be beneficial for the public to understand the role of social media in disseminating information about hibah as an alternative distribution method and to also able to cater the issue of frozen assets in Malaysia. This study recommends for a future study to be carried out by other researchers to tackle the issue of the role of social media influencers in promoting hibah. This study applies a doctrinal legal approach where the data collection is based on a library-based research as well as observations on YouTube videos.  Keywords: hibah, Muslims, property, Syariah Court, social media   Abstrak Kertas kerja ini bertujuan membincangkan pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam. Pembangunan lestari secara umum ialah pembangunan yang memenuhi keperluan semasa serta masa hadapan bagi mencapai kesinambungan antara pembangunan ekonomi, sosial dan alam sekitar tanpa menjejaskan keperluan bagi generasi seterusnya. Pembangunan lestari sangat mendapat perhatian dalam disiplin pembangunan termasuk dalam kalangan negara-negara Islam. Persoalannya, apakah perspektif Islam terhadap pembangunan lestari ini? Bagi mencapai tujuan tersebut, perbincangan dalam kertas kerja ini dibahagikan kepada dua bahagian. Pertama, mengenal pasti pandangan sarjana terhadap pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam. Kedua menganalisis dan merumuskan pandangan para sarjana terhadap pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan kaedah kepustakaan dan analisis kandungan. Penelitian mendapati bahawa pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam lebih luas berbanding pembangunan lestari yang lazim. Pembangunan lestari dari perspektif Islam ini merangkumi epistemologi dan tasawur Islam yang mempunyai acuan pembangunannya yang tersendiri melibatkan aspek fizikal, akhlak dan rohani. The purpose of this paper is to ascertain the contemporary role of mobile phones in value co-creation through social media marketing. How mobile phones, in particular, smartphones with the help of numerous social media generate value co-creation, is the key objective of this study. A random sampling method was used to conduct a survey in different universities in China to identify the role of mobile phones in value co-creation. Findings from primary data collection indicated that mobile phones play a vital role in value co-creation because of the extensive use of social media. If value co-creation through social media marketing develops with the help of producers, suppliers and other intermediaries with the necessary technology and trust, the society, as well as customers, may enjoy a unique way of shopping. Future studies with mixed methodology and respondents who use different social media as a tool to generate value co-creation may shed light on the undiscovered phenomenon of social media marketing in the context of the mobile phone.

One of them is Instagram, social media which was initially used only personally to upload photos or videos, now has many roles that are mostly used by young people or the millennial generation. The Hijrah Fest activity, which has a segmentation of visitors to the younger generation, utilizes and optimizes the use of Instagram social media to support its activities. Therefore, in this study, he wanted to find out what roles the new media had in the Hijrah Fest activities. The research method used is qualitative, with in-depth interview data collection techniques with social media managers Hijrah Fest. From the results of observations, interviews, and documentation, the main role of new media on the hijrahfest Instagram social media is preaching. In addition, in supporting the Hijrah Fest activities, his Instagram account acts as the delivery of information related to the event, communication between the Hijrah Fest to the public, and buying and selling transactions from exhibition stands to visitors</em><em>.</em></p><p class="15bIsiAbstractBInggris"><em></em><strong>Abs</strong><strong>trak</strong></p><p>Lahirnya media baru di era digital saat ini, menambah beragamnya media sosial yang ada. Salah satunya ialah instagram, media sosial yang pada awalnya sebatas digunakan secara personal untuk mengunggah foto atau video, kini memiliki banyak peran yang lebih banyak digunakan oleh anak muda atau generasi milenial. Kegiatan Hijrah Fest yang memiliki segmentasi pengunjung pada generasi muda, memanfaatkan serta mengoptimalkan penggunaan media sosial instagram dalam menunjang kegiatannya. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini ingin mengetahui apa saja peran yang dimiliki oleh media baru, dalam kegiatan Hijrah Fest. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan data wawancara mendalam bersama pengelola media sosial Hijrah Fest. Dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, peran utama dari media baru pada media sosial instagram hijrahfest ialah berdakwah. Selain itu, dalam menunjang kegiatan Hijrah Fest akun instagramnya berperan sebagai penyampaian informasi terkait acaranya, komunikasi antara pihak Hijrah Fest kepada publik, dan transaksi jual beli dari <em>stand </em>pameran kepada pengunjungnya.</p>

Role of media in Environment Awareness is very significant. These days, social media has become one of the most common platforms to spread awareness on various aspects of the environment. Then it can be about the climatic changes or it could be about the ecosystem of the country, people must be aware of the habitat, in which they are living and nurturing. The Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs, Oman, plays a vital role in this. It is responsible for weather monitoring and forecasts apart from the study of various nature reserves and animals which are becoming extinct slowly. This paper will evaluate various readily available means in order to raise awareness among the public. The result will be helpful to draw a framework with the help of which we can develop an appropriate system by using some multimedia tools. Apart from this, this paper will have a review of some existing projects and literature in the same area. Based on the findings, the authors will be suggesting the development of a mobile-based application for regular updates on the environment and its assets.

The covid-19 resulted in broad range of spread throughout the world in which India has also became a prey of it and in this situation the means of media is extensively inϑluencing the mentality of the people. Media always played a role of loop between society and sources of information. In this epidemic also media is playing a vital role in shaping the reaction in ϑirst place for both good and ill by providing important facts regarding symptoms of Corona virus, preventive measures against the virus and also how to deal with any suspect of disease to overcome covid-19. On the other hand, there are endless people who spread endless rumours overs social media and are adversely affecting life of people but we always count on media because they provide us with valuable answers to our questions, facts and everything in need. Media always remains on top of the line when it comes to stop the out spread of rumours which are surely dangerous kind of information for society. So on our side we should react fairly and maturely to handle the situation to keep it in the favour of humanity and help government not only to ϑight this pandemic but also the info emic.

Background: Chikungunya is a vector-borne disease, mostly present in tropical and subtropical regions. The virus is spread by Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus mosquitos and symptoms include high fever to severe joint pain. Dhaka, Bangladesh, suffered an outbreak of chikungunya in 2017 lasting from April to September. With the goal of reducing cases, social media was at the forefront during this outbreak and educated the public about symptoms, prevention, and control of the virus. Popular web-based sources such as the top dailies in Bangladesh, local news outlets, and Facebook spread awareness of the outbreak. Objective: This study sought to investigate the role of social and mainstream media during the chikungunya epidemic. The study objective was to determine if social media can improve awareness of and practice associated with reducing cases of chikungunya. Methods: We collected chikungunya-related information circulated from the top nine television channels in Dhaka, Bangladesh, airing from 1st April–20th August 2017. All the news published in the top six dailies in Bangladesh were also compiled. The 50 most viewed chikungunya-related Bengali videos were manually coded and analyzed. Other social media outlets, such as Facebook, were also analyzed to determine the number of chikungunya-related posts and responses to these posts. Results: Our study showed that media outlets were associated with reducing cases of chikungunya, indicating that media has the potential to impact future outbreaks of these alpha viruses. Each media outlet (e.g., web, television) had an impact on the human response to an individual’s healthcare during this outbreak. Conclusions: To prevent future outbreaks of chikungunya, media outlets and social media can be used to educate the public regarding prevention strategies such as encouraging safe travel, removing stagnant water sources, and assisting with tracking cases globally to determine where future outbreaks may occur.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an avalanche of information, much of it false or misleading. Social media posts with misleading or dangerous opinions and analyses are often amplified by celebrities and social media influencers; these posts have contributed substantially to this avalanche of information. An emerging force in this information infodemic is public physicians, doctors who view a public presence as a large segment of their mission. These physicians bring authority and real-world experience to the COVID-19 discussion. To investigate the role of public physicians, we interviewed a convenience cohort of physicians who have played a role in the infodemic. We asked the physicians about how their roles have changed, how their audience has changed, what role politics plays, and how they address misinformation. The physicians noted increased audience size with an increased focus on the pandemic. Most avoided confronting politics, but others found it unavoidable or that even if they tried to avoide it, it would be brought up by their audience. The physicians felt that confronting and correcting misinformation was a core part of their mission. Public physicians on social media are a new occurrence and are an important part of fighting online misinformation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui masalah Partisipasi dalam Program Pemberdayaan Masyarakat yang ada di RW 20 Kelurahan Citrodiwangsan. Peneliti menggunakan metode riset kualitatif . Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu kader dan warga RW 20 Kelurahan Citrodiwangsan. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga temuan. Pertama, partisipasi perencanaan masih tergolong kurang pro aktif dalam mengedukasi warga dikarenakan masih banyak RT yang tidak bisa mewadahi dan mengedukasi masyarakat untuk aktif dalam kegiatan Posyandu Gerbangmas. Kedua, terkait partisipasi pelaksanaan kegiatan masih banyak masyarakat yang memandang sebelah mata kegiatan ini meskipun seluruh warga telah diikutkan secara menyeluruh, hal ini karena kurangnya sosialisasi dari pengurus kader. Ketiga, faktor penghambat yaitu kurangnya memahami arti partisipasi yang rendah dimana masyarakat masih sibuk dengan kesibukannya sendiri serta kurangnya peran RT untuk mendorong masyarakatnya dalam memberikan pengertian akan pentingnya kegiatan posyandu. Oleh karena itu, dari beberapa masalah-masalah yang telah peneliti temukan maka peneliti memiliki saran yang bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan kader maupun RT dalam mengajak masyarakat. Saran tersebut diantaranya adalah pelaksanaan posyandu dilaksanakan pada hari libur, kegiatan posyandu tidak hanya ditempatkan pada satu titik tetapi dijadwalkan untuk berpindah ketempat kawasan lainnya dan memanfaatkan fasilitas media sosial untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan informasi kesehatan balita dan lansia. Kata kunci: masalah partisipasi, program pemberdayaan masyarakat, partisipasi perencanaan, partisipasi pelaksanaan, faktor penghambat partisipasi   This study aims to determine the problem of participation in the Community Empowerment Program in RW 20 Citrodiwangsan Village. Respondents in this study were cadres and residents of RW 20 Citrodiwangsan Village. Data were collected by interview and observation. This study resulted in three findings. First, planning participation is still classified as less proactive in educating residents because there are still many RTs that cannot accommodate and educate the public to be active in Gerbangmas Posyandu activities. Second, with regard to participation in the implementation of activities, there are still many people who underestimate this activity even though all residents have been included as a whole, this is due to the lack of socialization from the cadre management. Third, the inhibiting factor is the lack of understanding of the meaning of low participation where the community is still busy with their own activities and the lack of the role of the RT in encouraging the community to provide an understanding of the importance of posyandu activities. Therefore, from some of the problems that researchers have found, the researcher has suggestions that aim to maximize cadres and RTs in inviting the community. These suggestions include that the implementation of posyandu is carried out on holidays, posyandu activities are not only placed at one point but are scheduled to move to another area and utilizing social media facilities to provide socilization and health information for toddlers and the elderly. Despite the ubiquity of health-related communications via social media, no consensus has emerged what information should be conveyed and how it should be conveyed to avoid creating panic among general population. With lockdowns social media, mass media became as a habit by people for news, information regarding COVID-19 and it is practiced even after lockdown. During the COVID-19 pandemic, mass media, social media and local news has become as the source of a toxic “infodemic” source for public. It contained both solicited and unsolicited advice. No conceptual model exists for examining the roles of media. It is important to rst assess the important mis-information, role of infodemics and prevalent casualness among the public regarding the COVID-19. Till mass vaccination is not commenced it is prudent to emphasize guidelines and practices as per COVID guidelines like social distancing, wearing mask, hand hygiene
