This classroom action research aims to improve learning outcomes of students through the implementation of the problem-based learning model. This research was carried out at the VIII1 class of SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru in academic year 2019/2020 on the material of two-variable linear equation systems (SPLDV). The subjects were 39 students consisting of 18 male and 21 female students with heterogenous academic ability. This research was conducted within 2 cycles, namely; the first cycle consisted of two meetings and the second cycle consisted of three meetings. The instruments of this research were learning medias consisting of syllabus, student’s worksheet, as well as the data collection instruments consisting of teacher and students’ activities sheet and students learning outcomes sheets. According to the results of the analysis of the teacher and student activity data, it shows that there is an improvement in each meeting after the implementation of the PBL model. Student mathematics learning outcomes data on knowledge and skill competencies also indicate an increase in the percentage of students with learning outcomes equal to or more than 75 in accordance with the established minimum passing criteria. The results of this study specify that the implementation of the PBL model is able to improve students learning outcomes of class VIII1 students of SMP Negeri 3 Pekanbaru for the 2019/2020 academic year on SPLDV material.

The background of this research is because of the difficulties experienced by the second grade students of SD Negeri Waru 03, Bantarkawung District, Brebes. It is proven by the percentage of student learning in the previous class of 30% of students who have completed. The reason is that they feel bored with the monotonous learning process and do not use varied learning methods. The model in this study uses the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model which consists of 4 stages, namely; planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were second grade students of SD Negeri Waru 03 Bantarkawung District, Brebes Regency for the 2020-2021 academic year with a total of 13 students, consisting of 10 male students and 3 female students. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation, and written test assessment. The results of this study can be explained as follows: 1) in the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method there is an increase in teacher and student activity in each cycle, this can be proven for teacher activity in the first cycle to reach a percentage of 80% (good), while in the second cycle teacher activity reached a percentage of 100% (very good). Student activity in the first cycle reached a percentage of 69.16% (good), while in the second cycle it reached a percentage of 90.00% (very good) so that in the second cycle it was declared successful because it had reached the KKM

One of the problems in the learning process of class V SD Al-Manar Surabaya in the academic year 2019-2020 integer material is the teacher uses lecture methods that make students quickly bored and passive. The impact is students have difficulty accepting lessons well and learning outcomes are less than KKM. Therefore, to overcome these problems the researchers applied the course review horay (CRH) learning model. CRH can make students more active and not feel bored. In addition, the application of the course review horay learning model can focus students in learning, so students will more easily receive the material well. The purpose of this study is to describe an increase in learning outcomes after applying the course review horay (CRH) learning model of mathematics in integer material in fifth grade students of SD Al-Manar Surabaya. This type of research is a classroom action research that has been carried out in two cycles with an indicator of research success by 75%. The subjects of this study were 28 students in grade V-B SD Al-Manar Surabaya, consisting of 14 male students and 14 female students. The results showed that learning outcomes have increased with the percentage of completeness of the first cycle 64.28% and the second cycle 85.71%. Thus it can be concluded that the course review horay (CRH) learning model can improve mathematics learning outcomes of integer material in fifth grade students of SD Al-Manar Surabaya.

The study aimed to answer how the Constructivism approach can improve students' learning outcomes of adding fraction material in fourth-grade students of Madrasah Ibtidayah Tukangan, Ampel District, Boyolali Regency, Academic Year 2015/2016. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The data collection methods used were post-test observation sheets and documentation. The findings of this study revealed that the implementation of the Constructivism Approach can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in adding fractions. This increase occurred from the first, and second cycles with the results of the Pre-test and Post-test have increased. In the first cycle, the mean score of the pre-test was 61.67, while the post-test was 68.88. In the second cycle, the mean score of the pre-test was 75, and the post-test was 88.89. Therefore, the mean score of pre-test, and post-test was increased by 13.89 or 22.23%. The increase of the mean score on the Pre-test and Post-test showed that the Constructivism approach can improve student learning outcomes.
